Yuri

Though it was early November, Aquarius wasted no time in decorating for the jolly holidays. Despite a few turkeys and pumpkins decorating the corners of the school, there were Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling, coiling over the railings, and lining the doors of the classrooms. A few trees were set up in the cafeteria and students from the school council started wrapping lights around the palm trees in the courtyard. Frank Sinatra was singing Have Yourself a Little Christmas on the radio as Yuri and his friends sat in their usual spot on the school roof to have their lunch.

"Christmas time already," Patty said as she sat on the edge of the wall eating pasta from a plastic container. "Man, the year has simply flown by, huh?"

"Must be all the excitement," Natalya said. She was eating while looking at note cards for her history exam next class. "You sure you can make it back to your new school on time, Patty?"

"I have plenty of time," she said. "Besides, the staff there aren't nazis like the ones running this place."

"I'm surprised you're still cool with Yuri after the breakup," said Tyson. "You're taking it...rather well."

Patty looked at Yuri. He looked away quickly. "We're not," he said.

"No, we're not," said Patty. "But even though we can't...you know, go out anymore. I still want to be your friend, Yuri."

"I don't know if I want to do that anymore," said Yuri. "You hurt me deep, Patty. You hurt me real deep."

"I'm sorry. I know I'm such a screw-up. But I promise I'll get better."

"That remains to be seen. You have to prove to me that you can change, not just say it."

"And I stand by it!" said Patty. "I really do want to be your friend, Yuri. I understand we can't go out anymore. You deserve so much better than me."

"Patty, don't talk about yourself like that. I just...I just need some time. I'm still disturbed by how we found you outside of Sergei's shop. How do I know that won't happen again?"

"Crystal's helping me get straight," Patty said. "She's helping me so much."

"Well, you can't argue with that," said Tyson. "If anyone can help Patty, it's Crystal. Come on, Yuri. Patty's been our friend for a long time. I don't want to see our group split apart like this."

"I still need some time," Yuri said again.

"Take all the time you want," said Patty. "I understand."

Natalya coughed into her hand to break the tension. "So, uh, any word on that creep who attacked you guys the other night?"

"Pfft," said Yuri. "He claims he was a bounty hunter looking to cash in on my defeat. Brett was the one who issued the bounty earlier and it wasn't much. But after I almost kicked his ass on my birthday, I can tell I've got him running scared."

Patty laughed. "Scared? Buddy, you've got him paranoid. You were this close! Brett knows you're a threat so of course, he'd raise the bounty on you."

"By how much?" Nick asked.

"At first it was fifty thousand dollars," Yuri replied. "That was before he considered me a threat. As I said, I almost beat him on my birthday. That most likely freaked him out enough to raise it as high as he did. Forty million dollars."

"Forty million dollars!" Tyson yelled, spitting chunks of his sandwich all over his jeans and on the table. "Brett put a bounty of forty million dollars just to beat Yuri! That guy is out of his mind! Man, I'm tempted to want to cash in on that."

"Not funny, Tyson," said Patty. "This is really serious."

"Where in the hell did that creep get so much money?" Natalya asked. "This is just absurd!"

"He's in the Martinetti family, remember?" said Yuri. "Brett's got plenty of money to toss around. But this just really irks me badly. It's taking the fun out of Duel Monsters for me."

"That's exactly why he's doing this babe, er, Yuri," Patty said. "He doesn't want you to have fun, he doesn't want you to get better. He knows you, Black Tyranno, and all those new cards you got are a serious threat right now. Obviously, he's going to do all he can to discourage you from entering the tournament."

"And it's working," Yuri groaned. "I just wanted to play for the fun and the thrill of the game. But this...this is so unfair. It's like becoming pro is a crime."

"Welcome to the big leagues, Yuri, baby," Carter said. "When you're close to the top, the competition is going to do anything and everything to keep you from getting there."

"What are we going to do?" Tyson asked while he stilled chewed. "Man, this is bullshit." More chunks of his food rained down on the table.

"I don't know, but it's going to draw a lot of people to Aquarius, that's for sure," Patty said, tossing Tyson a napkin.

"Bad people," Carter added as he took selfies of himself for his followers online. "Only a lowlife would consider going after someone like that. Wow, forty million dollars. Everyone is going to want a piece of that."

"You're right," Patty said. She dug into her backpack for her phone. "I did a little snooping around last night about our boy Shun."

"What did you find out?" Carter asked. "And is he gonna show up again anytime soon? I'd like to kick his ass for that stunt he pulled just to challenge Yuri to a Duel. Come on, fellas, it's just a card game at the end of the day."

Patty scrolled through her phone to find the pages she marked about Shun. "I don't know if we'll run into him, Carter, but I found out he's a very nasty player. He's been banned from six promotions in the pro leagues and got kicked out several Duel Monsters franchises for aggravated assault, cheating, sexual harassment, and get this! He walked into an official Duel drunk and in his boxers. And he's been arrested twice for stealing booster boxes from card shops and selling them online. The black market if you want to get dramatic."

"I guess that explains all those rare cards he used against me that night," said Yuri.

"No kidding," said Patty. "That Infernal Flame Emperor he kept bragging about isn't due to come out until the next set...in January."

Nick scratched his head in frustration. "He's well connected it seems."

"And he's just one of many scumbags running around Aquarius looking to beat Yuri," said Natalya. "Yuri, is there anything we can do? There's no way you can take on these guys yourself."

"I could use the help," said Yuri. "Forty million dollars is going to draw in quite a crowd and I don't want to have to face that alone."

Coward!

"I didn't ask you," Yuri muttered under his breath. Damn, Ser Norman, shut up!

The bell rang and they began to pick up their things.

"Yuri," Patty said.

"I don't want to talk right now, Patty. We'll see you after school."

"Okay," she said. She slung her backpack over her shoulder and walked away.

Once Yuri was alone, Ser Norman showed himself and hovered behind Yuri. "So, it looks like you're in a big mess."

"Tell me about it," Yuri said as he traversed down the stairs with his hands in his pockets. "I had no idea that getting good at this game was going to mean getting into so much trouble."

"It's only going to get more complicated once you are ready to return home."

"There you go again with 'returning home'. I won last night so doesn't that mean you have to give me some answers?"

"Yes, it does," said Ser Norman. "But will you even believe me if I tell you?"

"I guess not, but I can't deny you tell some pretty interesting stories. If this other world you talk about is real, then it has a rich and complex history."

"Indeed yes," said Ser Norman. "Not to say this world doesn't have its fair share of history. I did a little reading last night from your collection of books on your shelf. There are plenty of people to be proud of. William Wallace. George Washington. William the Conqueror. King Arthur, that one is my favorite. It reminds me of the Noble Knights from my world."

"Noble Knights, huh? Now that sounds pretty cool. Do you know much about them?"

"I know lots about King Artorigus and the Noble Knights of the Round Table."

"Can you tell me about them some time?"

"If you find a worthy opponent and win, I will tell you all the stories you want about Artorgius, Yuri."

"I look forward to that actually. Well, with that bounty on my head, I'm sure I'll run into plenty of Duelists to play against."

At the end of the day, Yuri sat on the edge of the fountain waiting for Patty and the others to arrive. The back of his throat started to hurt, for he caught a cold from being in the chilly and musty classroom of his calculus teacher. He hated being in there. The teacher seemed to always be sick with something, coughing and sneezing as he stood at the front of the class. He chewed on some minty gum to try and quell the irritation in the back of his throat until they got to Sergei's shop so he could buy a pack of cough drops.

"Hey you," Patty said approaching him. She kept her distance from him after she got his text. "How do you feel?"

"Not too bad, but my throat hurts." He swallowed and grimaced from the pain. "Oh, ow."

"Come on, you'll feel better when we get to Sergei's. I'll buy you some soup while we watch the Duels."

"Sounds good to me."

Patty held out her hand and helped Yuri up on his feet. She patted his back and said: "Hey, I know this bounty thing has gotten way out of hand, but I just want you to know me and the others have got your back. Okay?"

"Yeah, thanks. I'd be a total mess if it wasn't for you all. I did some thinking while I was in class. Tyson's right. We've been friends since...I dunno, forever. I still want to be friends with you, too."

Patty's eyes flashed and bubbled with tears. "Yuri...that...that means everything to me. I swear I'm doing all I can to get straight. I'll never do drugs! I'll never drink! I'll never do any of those things again. If it means it will cost me my best friend, I will never do them again."

"I'll to see it to believe it. If I can see progress, we'll see each other a lot more."

"Aww, did y'all hear that?" Tyson said, coming from behind and putting his arm over Yuri's shoulder. "I love this guy!" He kissed Yuri's cheek long and hard.

"TY-SON!" Yuri croaked. "Oh, God!"

"Not a good idea, babe," Patty said. "Yuri's got a cold."

Tyson's eyes widened. "Mutha —" he let go of Yuri and distanced himself. "Come on, man, damn!"

Yuri dried his cheek, chuckling at Tyson's reaction. It was the first time he even smiled all day long and Patty felt warm seeing him happy. But their joy was short, for they were approached by a girl who hurried down the steps to get to Yuri. There was lust in her eyes. A lust for fame and fortune and beating Yuri right here in this spot was going to bring it to her.

"Eh, yo," said Tyson. "Is that Madison?"

Patty turned to look at her. "Oh, great. What the hell do you want?"

"Patty?" the girl said placing her hands on her hips. "I see you're still mad about that little April Fool's prank last year? Come on, it was harmless fun."

"You call flushing all my underwear down the toilet harmless fun?" Patty snapped. "Do you have any idea how embarrassed I was? I could barely even move."

"Oh, damn," said Tyson.

Madison wrinkled her nose obnoxiously when Tyson spoke like he was a foul stench or something. She chewed her gum like a cow on cud. "So, you must be Yuri's muscle. I heard you two go way back. To the days when you harassed the poor stowaways in Los Angeles Rojas. What was that all about?"

"You've got a reason for coming down here and speaking to us?" Patty asked, hoping to avoid talking about those old and dark days.

"Yeah, a big one. Yuri. There's a big-ass bounty on your head. Forty million if I'm not mistaken." She looked at her phone to see the text. "Ah, yes. That's correct. Oof, someone wants you gone."

"Who told you about that bounty?" Tyson asked.

"Everyone at school knows about it, Tyson. Some guys from Phobos Academy came by and even promoted it."

"No surprise there," said Yuri. "That's the school Brett and his friends go to. I take it you want to try your hand against me?"

"You're damn right, Yuri. I'm going to take you down and cash in on that bounty. Then I'll be set for life."

"If that's what you want," Yuri said. "Patty, my Duel Disk is in my backpack, can you go get it."

"Yeah, gimme a sec."

Patty went to get his gear, which didn't take long for Yuri to set up. They went to a quiet grassy spot not far from school and began their match.

"Man, here we go," said Tyson. "The captain of the cheerleaders up against Yuri. This should be good."

"She's no Duelist," Patty said frowning at the girl. "Yuri is going to beat her no sweat, just watch."

"I'll go first," Madison said. "I summon Ganigumo in attack mode!" Madison conjured a large spider with red legs and crab-like pincers. Its round abdomen was purple and its three round eyes stared at Yuri like he was a juicy fly to be eaten. Yuri cringed, for the spider almost looked like the one he saw during the ending of The Fly, a movie he saw with Patty at the beachside drive-in theatre last weekend. The horrid ending still made his skin crawl and seeing this creature staring at him like that was most uncomfortable.

ATK/600 DEF/800

Scared Yuri?

"Ser Norman? No...I just...nevermind."

Madison continued her turn. "I set a card face-down and end my turn. Your move. Good luck."

T2

"Thank you. I'll start by getting rid of that spider. It's giving me the creeps. I summon Black Veloci in attack mode!" Yuri placed the card down and the Duel Disk rendered the black-feathered dinosaur in front of him. Black Veloci displayed the feathers on its arms in a frightening display to confirm it was ready for battle.

ATK/1800 DEF/300

"Just as I expected," Madison declared. "I activate my trap card, Trap Hole. When you summon a monster, it goes bye-bye."

Black Veloci screeched as it plummeted into a hole in the ground and was gone. Yuri laughed. "I figured as much."

"What do you mean? How can you still be so cocky? I just took out your monster."

"I saw past your ruse. It's the easiest trick in the book. Summoning a weak monster just to get me to attack you and spring your traps. Well, I was ready. I activate Monster Reborn. Now Black Veloci returns to the field."

Tyson clapped his hands loudly. "That's it, Yuri! Yeah!"

The raptor appeared in front of Yuri again and it looked pissed. It slid its foot across the dirt, anxiously waiting for Yuri to give it the command to attack. Yuri wasted no time in doing so. He pointed at the spider and ordered Black Veloci to maul it. Black Veloci screeched; its feathers stood up. It then dashed across the field. Per its effect, it's attack points increased by 400 when it attacks. The attack point display projected beside the monster, reading 2200. Black Veloci raised its claws, which grew many inches taller and glowed bright purple. It slashed the spider repeatedly, its glowing claws leaving behind a light trail in the air. Ganigumo let out sorrowful clicks and shattered.

"That wasn't supposed to happen," Madison muttered. "Argh, he outsmarted me. Bastard!"

"I draw!" Madison declared. "I'll wipe that smirk off your face with this card. Tribute to the Doomed. By discarding a card from my hand, I can destroy a monster on your field!"

Black Veloci was wrapped in bandages that appeared out of nowhere. Then a big, red, fiendish hand rose from out of the ground and grabbed the dinosaur, dragging it to the graveyard.

"Finally, I got rid of him. Now I set a card face-down and end my turn."

T4

She plays rather well.

"Don't compliment her, please."

If you don't want any more surprises from her, I suggest you play more strategically. Just tossing monsters all over the place isn't going to solve anything. You have spells do you not? Use them. Watch out for her face-down card, though.

"I'll remember that. Just stay out of my way. I draw! Oh, nice! I use the spell, Unexpected Dai! With this card, I can special summon a level four or lower Normal monster from my deck so long as I control no cards. Come out, Gagagigo!"

His Duel Disk flashed and rendered the tall and muscular reptilian warrior. He swiped his claws in the air and snarled.

ATK/1850 DEF/1000

"This guy is one of my best and favorite monsters in my deck. But he's going to disappear for a while. I tribute Gagagigo to summon Spawn Alligator!" Gagagigo crossed his arms over his broad chest and sunk into the ground. Water shot out of the ground and formed into red alligator armored in black and white steel. It stood upright at a height of seventeen feet. The monster gurgled menacingly in its throat.

ATK/2200 DEF/1000

"That ends my turn," said Yuri. "And that activates Spawn Alligator's effect. When I use a reptile monster as a tribute to summon him, Spawn Alligator lets me special summon that monster back to my field!"

Gagagigo rose out of the ground, arms still locked over his chest. When he was finally out of the ground he opened his eyes and hissed, pleased that he was back on the field to do battle.

"Nice play, Yuri!" Patty cheered.

"Thanks, Patt. I would attack, but that face-down card of yours is most likely a trap, so I end my turn."

Yuri wait!

"What is it now?" Yuri whispered loudly. Tyson and Patty looked at him as though he were crazy. "Didn't you say to use caution?"

Yes, but that doesn't mean skipping your battle phase for one trap card. Have a backup in case your forces on the field run into trouble. Do you not have a backup plan?

Yuri looked at his hand. "Well...I uh..."

T5

Madison drew her card, feeling confident that she could take on both of Yuri's reptiles. "You must think so little of me not use all those dinosaurs I heard so much about. Well, let's see if this guy will make you bring them out. But first, I play the field spell, Forest." The scenery around them changed. No longer were they standing on a grassy meadow. Trees shot out of the ground and bloomed their leaves instantaneously. The cityscape vanished and turned into rolling emerald mountains against a blue sky. "Perfect. Now my insect monsters will gain 200 extra attack and defense points. I now play the spell card, Flint."

A bone-colored capturing device appeared from behind Spawn Alligator and ensnared it in its spider-like limbs. Spawn Alligator snarled and struggled to get free but he was shocked by black and red bolts of electricity. His attack points then decreased to 1900.

"What happened?" Yuri asked.

Your Spawn Alligator! Yuri, do something! This does not bode well.

"Flint is a handy card that prevents a monster from attacking," Madison boasted. She turned around and started taking pictures of herself with Yuri's trapped monster suffering behind her. When she was satisfied with her pictures, she turned to face him once again. "Also, Flint will decrease your monster's attack points by 300 each turn. Now I summon Jirai Gumo in attack mode."

She summoned a giant brown spider with long black legs tipped with orange claws. It made a spine-tingling clicking sound with its mandibles and waved its arms around.

"I hope you're ready Yuri. My spider is going to eat your dinosaurs alive! I equip Jirai Gumo with the Insect Armor and Laser Cannon!"

The spider held out its legs, then its body was covered in a layer of futuristic armor that was spiked and glowing with blue accents. The giant spider then lowered its body as a laser cannon materialized on its back. Yuri started to tremble a bit when he saw the spider's attack points increase to 2900. Not even his Black Tyranno was strong enough to get rid of it now. Madison even knew that and she whooped and started doing a cringy dance, acting as if she had already beaten Yuri. She pointed her finger at Gagagigo and ordered Jirai Gumo to attack. Jirai Gumo had a downside to being a powerful, low level, monster. Before it attacked, Madison had to flip a coin and call heads or tails. If she called it wrong, she lost half her Life Points. She flipped the coin to got from her purse and called tails. She caught the coin, slapped it on the back of her hand and cheered. She called it right, so her Life Points were safe. The laser cannon on Jirai Gumo's back sparked and began charging a green energy ball. When it was at full power, the ball turned into a beam that shot across the field and ripped right through Gagagigo's body. The laser then blasted the ground at Yuri's feet, knocking him backward. He landed on his butt, his hand got chipped from smacking against a pebbly surface behind him.

"You okay, Yuri?" Tyson asked. He rushed to his friend and helped him up. "That was a nasty fall."

"I'm fine, thanks, buddy."

"You won't be fine for long," Madison teased. "With my spider's attack points this high up, I seriously doubt there's anything you can do to stop him."

Patty laughed and pointed at her. "Bitch, please! I've seen Yuri take down stronger monsters than that puny Jirai Gumo. Even with that laser cannon equipped to him, I'm sorry to say it's not enough to beat my boy. Yuri, come on! Show her what I mean."

"Thanks, Patty," Yuri said smiling at her. "I got this. Don't worry."

T6

Yuri drew and weighed in his options. "I tribute Spawn Alligator to summon Frostosaurus in defense mode!"

Spawn Alligator was shrouded by a curtain of ice and snow. As he shattered, Madison's Flint card was blown around in the wind until it vanished. When the wind and snow died down, a blue-colored long-necked dinosaur was revealed. It snarled while crouching down in its defensive position.

Madison retaliated by mimicking the way Patty made fun of her. She pointed and laughed at Frostosaurus while holding her stomach in an exaggerated fashion. "Oh nooooo!" she jeered. "Yuri summoned a giant popsicle! Oh, whatever am I going to do? You're all talk, Yuri. And Patty, all that boasting and it was all for nothing. Hmph, quite a mouth you've got there. Not surprising at all considering you've blown almost every guy on Aquarius, you ugly skank!"

"You go too far, Walker," said Nick.

"No. I've only just begun. And don't speak to me again, you peasant! I know all about you, Nick. You live with the Stowaways in that slum staining our beautiful city." She tsked and shook her head. "Yuri. Look at the company you keep. The Prince of Aquarius hanging out with paupers and strumpet!" She eyed Patty poisonously, like a Black Widow closing in a fly caught in her web. "You. I heard what you did to yourself. Disgusting. You brought so much shame to Yuri and his family. What did she do to get you so interested in her, Yuri? It can't be her personality, her's is that of a mutt. Beauty? No. You consider THAT beautiful. She's got on more mascara than Marilyn Manson and her hair is colored in...ew, what is that? Pink streaks?"

"Bubblegum pink," Patty corrected.

"Whatever. And what's with that getup, Patty? Halloween comes only once a year. Ugh, she's trash, Yuri. It was a wise move dumping her. A boy as rich and powerful as you deserves so much better. I can help you there, you know? I'm rich, I'm sexy." She slid her hands down her sides. "Oh, yeah. You know my daddy works for the Aquarian council and has good standing with your father, unlike that drunken mercenary raising Patty."

"You're saying you're better than Patty?" Yuri asked.

Madison raised her lips with a leer. "Oh, I'm leagues better than her, Yuri. Gimme a chance to prove it to you."

"Ugh, bitch puh-lease!" said Carter. "Girl, I've heard a lot of shit about you in the locker room that will make your ancestors roll around in their graves. Yuri, if you're dumb enough to consider going out with Madison Walker, do yourself a favor and get a lawyer. You won't believe how many people she's stabbed in the back."

"Yeah!" Tyson agreed. "Not to mention this Duel! Come on, Madison. You're saying you're the right girl for Yuri, yet you're here cashing in on the bounty set up by the biggest scumbag on Aquarius!"

"Pish-posh," Madison said. "This bounty changes nothing about the way I feel about you, Yuri. I need a little spending money, babe. Forty million is forty million. Yuri, sweetie, I don't want any hard feelings or anything. After this Duel, come with me. Leave the garbage where it belongs. She's nothing but a harlot just like her mother!"

"Why you...!" Nick started.

"Hold it, buckaroo," Patty said, slapping her hand on his chest to stop him. "Don't let her get to you. She's not worth it."

"Oh, I'm totally worth it!" said Madison. "I'm worth more than you, Pamela McKnight. Oh, it's my move, isn't it?"

T7

"Jirai Gumo will attack Frostosaurus!" she declared. She flipped a coin. It landed on heads, which she called, so her attack didn't cost her half her Life Points. She giggled and clapped her hands, happy with the result. Her spider fired its laser cannon and blasted the dinosaur into oblivion. "So much for your defense," Madison said. "If I'm not mistaken, that monster had the same attack points as your Black Tyranno. Oh, this is going to be good."

Patty sniggered at her.

"Did I say something funny, bitch?" Madison snapped.

"Just because you took down that monster doesn't mean you can beat Black Tyranno. When he and Yuri are together, they make a great team. Brett sent goon after goon to take down Yuri. They all failed because of that monster. Trust me, Madison, better Duelists than you have tried to beat Yuri. Don't be sad when you fail miserably."

She speaks the truth, Ser Norman said inside Yuri's head. You two do make an unstoppable force.

"See," said Yuri. "Patty's not so bad. You need to look past all those black clothes. You'll see she's a good person at heart."

Perhaps. It's your turn, Yuri.

T8

Yuri drew. "All right," he said to Ser Norman. "Check this card out. It might buy me some time."

Mmm, that's Ipiria. If you summon him, you can draw a card. I suppose it all rides on the card on top of your deck now. Remember what I taught you, Yuri. Believe in the Heart of the Cards.

"Heart of the Cards," Yuri chuckled. "It's so cheesy when you say it, but who am I to judge. It hasn't let me down so far." He summoned the little reptile, causing Madison to laugh and his friends to groan. With Ipiria's effect, Yuri was allowed to draw. He closed his eyes, placed his fingers on the card, and drew. "Yeah! Now we're talking! I play the spell, Monster Reborn, and bring back Frostosaurus!" A bright flash from the ground and then the beautiful totem on the card gently flew down from the sky. It dropped into the light, and turned like a key, unlocking the gates to the great beyond. Frostosaurus came back to the field, shrouded by an ice-cold mist.

"Next, I set a card face-down and end my turn."

"Yuri, you're joshing me aren't you?" said Madison. "That's the best you can do? A frozen lummox and a little lizard that tried to look like Dumbledore and failed? Oh, well. I flip and call tails." She tossed the coin and caught it. Her face formed an expression of shock and disappointment when she saw the coin landed on heads. "Aww, I lose half my Life Points. No matter, once my Jirai Gumo attacks your pathetic Ipiria, it's all over."

"I wouldn't say that," said Yuri. "Thanks to this 'pathetic' lizard, he allowed me to draw a card."

"Yeah, so?"

"It was a trap, and just the one I needed, too!"

"A trap!"

"Yeah, Dimension Prison! Now, your spider is banished from the game!"

His friends cheered as Madison's spider was sucked into a portal and was gone. "No! My...my Jirai Gumo is gone! I can still protect my Life Points, tho. I summon Korogashi in defense mode!"

T9

"Big mistake," Yuri said smiling. "I tribute Frostosaurus and Ipiria to summon Black Tyranno!"

"NO!" Madison shouted, placing her hands on her cheeks, her long nails dug deep into her skin as she watched the two monsters disappear to make way for the Ace of Yuri's deck.

Black Tyranno appeared out of a screen of green and yellow fire and then yelled into the sky as if announcing his presence to all of Aquarius. His shiny eyes peered directly at Madison. The green one matching Yuri's glowing one flashed in hunger. The prehistoric beast snarled and seemed please that only one little spider stood in between him and his prey. Black Tyranno's eyes started glowing and he reared his head from side to side as he roared. The light from his eyes turned to blurs in the air, for he shook his head so violently and quickly. He dashed for Madison, squashing Korogashi underneath his foot. Madison didn't even stay for the attack. The dinosaur's primal fury was all too real for her. She turned tail and ran, the Black Tyranno hologram was right on her tail. Yuri and his friends laughed, watching as both Madison and the Black Tyranno hologram disappeared down the street.
