Construct 114: The Truth of Pandora's Box.
Sento: Civil war breaks out over Pandora's Box and the massive amount of energy within it. By manipulating Seito, Stalk is able to use a portion of energy from Pandora's Box… To create a massive tower, Pandora's Tower, threatening all of Japan. Touto, home to Kamen Rider Build, Kiryu Sento. Works with Hokuto and attempts to stop Seito's rampage, but-
Mido: We, Namba Heavy Industries, will show the world the appeal of our weapons.
Sento: Huh? Seito's Prime Minister Midou? Why are you referring to Namba Heavy Industries as "We?"
Mido: That's… Because… I'm good friends with Namba Heavy Industries.
Sento: Are you really Prime Minister Midou?
Mido: I can't spoil that in the recap! So, what will happen in Construct 114?!
We are Observer
Just then Chloe's bangle glows again, this time the light coming from Chloe's entire body. The light fades, as Chloe opens her eyes to reveal her eyes are now a regular white with lime green pupis. "Her eyes…" Build mutters, flashing back to his battle with Rogue at the Skywall. A arua of golden energy blasts out blowing Forte away. "... Chloe?" Laura mutters looking at Chloe's aura.
Chloe?:(voice echos) My name is Bernage… The Queen of Mars.
Build:(confused) Bernage?
Stalk:(clenches fist) You're still alive?(points gun) Not for-
Bernage swings her arm out, blasting Stalk away. "Chloe?" Laura mutters. "Mii-tan?" Grease asks, confused. Stalk tumbles and her armor disappears leaving Tabane dressed in casual clothes to stand up from the attack. "She's that strong…? In that case…" Tabane said, energy roars into existence as a crimson fireball forms. "Enjoy a Tabane Special!" Tabane inserts the fireball into the barrel of her Steamgun. "Watch out!" "Look out!" Cross-Z and Akatsu shout, jumping in the way, a subtle smirk forms as the crimson fireball hits Cross-Z and Akatsu in their belts. "Gah~!" "Kiyaa~!" Both riders drop to the ground, their jellies burned and unrecognizable. "Ichika! Houki!" Build shouts. Bernage raises her right hand up, she snaps her fingers as everyone teleports away in a flash. Rain and Forte are left in utter confusion once again at the happenings around them. Tabane lets out a satisfied chuckle.
Tabane:(lays back on the ground) Ah~... Heh, now things are getting interesting. The real battle begins here.
IS Cafe… We are Sento…
Sitting in the IS Cafe, we watch Chloe- Bernage silently sitting, a book in her hand as she flips through the page in silence. Across from her sitting on our knees, Me, Ichika, Houki, Laura, and Madoka watch her. While Sawa steps over pouring her a cup of tea. "I don't know if someone from around mars will like this, but…" Sawa said. "Where's "around Mars?"" Ichika asks, confused. "Up." I said, tapping Ichika on the shoulder. Bernage picks up the tea cup and takes a sip. "Terrible." She said,
Bernage:(looks at Sawa) You may leave, little girl.
Sawa:(steps back) Awa~!?(looks at everyone) She called me a little girl…
Sento:(looks at Sawa) Good for you.
Ichika:(looks at Chloe) But she really is the queen of Mars?
Sento:(taps Ichika on the shoulder) Huh? Don't be rude!(gestures to Chloe) You saw how she brought us here in an instant.
Madoka:(Dogeza pose) No matter who Mii-tan is, I'm confident we'll stay together for life!
Laura and Sento:(knocks back of Madoka's head) That's not the problem.
Houki:(sweatdrop) I think the problem- Or rather the question is, how does she know how to speak Japanese?
Sento:(crosses arms) Well that's easy to explain…(looks at Bernage) How did you learn it?
Bernage:(closes book) Even a fool could learn it after living here for several years.
Madoka:(nods) Oh… So you're a fool.
Laura:(taps Madoka) Oi, that's rude, she's still my sister.
Sento:(looks at Madoka) Yeah, stop it, you Meathead.
Ichika:(looks at Sento) Eh?
Sento:(looks at Ichika) Not you.(points at Madoka) Meathead 2.
Ichika:(nods) Ah~
Madoka silently giggles. "Why are you laughing?!" Ichika exclaims, Houki simply grabs him to restrain him. "More fools…" Madoka giggles to herself. "She called me a little girl…" Sawa mutters with a saddened face. The sound of a book being slapped onto the top of the table pulls out attention back to Bernage. "My body has already been destroyed." She said, caressing the gold bangle.
Bernage:(stands up) My soul will fade soon. Mars was destroyed by Pandora's Box.(steps over to Ichika) It was Evolt who did it.
Sento:(leans over) Evolt?
Bernage:(looks at Ichika) Do you not know who you are?
Ichika:(tilts head) Huh?... I am Banjou Ichika.
Bernage and Ichika stare for some time. "I see…" Bernage said, she then glances at Houki, who sits up straight. "And you…" Bernage muttered. "I am Houki Shinonono, it's… an… Honor? Bernage-sama?" Houki said unsure of the proper respect. Bernage looking between the two. "Fate will draw you together." Ichika and Houki look at each other before their faces blush as they look away from each other. 'Aww… That's nice.' Bernage kneels down to look Ichika in the eyes. "If it does in that case… You two will be our hope." Bernage said, much to the confusion of all of us. Bernage then collapses into Madoka's lap. "M-M-Mii-tttttan?!" Madoka exclaims, her face burning bright red.
Laura:(pushes Madoka) Get off my sister!(helps Chloe up) Chloe?! Are you okay?
Sento:(looks at Chloe) Bernage-san?
Later… Underground lab…
Laura watches over Chloe, as I call Chifuyu to explain the situation we have. "Bam! This is Chloe." I said placing down a wooden miniature with a picture cut out of Chloe's face tapped on it. "Misora's bangle contains the soul of the queen of Mars. Her name is Bernage." I said setting the doll showing a hand drawn image of a dress with the name tag Bernage on it.
Sento:(sets down black doll) And the one who used the energy from Pandora's Box to destroy Mars was.(knocks away Burnage) Bang! … Evolt.(slides doll towards Sawa) You have beautiful legs.
Sawa:(holding a Sawa doll) If Mars had intelligent life even greater than humans…(doll taps Ichika doll's head) Then what kind of power could have wiped them out?
Ichika:(pulls Ichika doll away) I don't know!? I've never even left Japan, so I can't possibly imagine what happened on Mars!
Madoka:(Brings Madoka doll over) That's because you have no imagination.
Chifuyu:(puzzled) Evolt… Bernage… Things just keep getting more and more confusing… My bigger question here is-(looks down at everyone) Why are you all playing with dolls like that?
Houki:(sweatdrop) Yeah, I was wondering that myself…?
Ichika and Madoka begin to play with the dolls, as I stand up. "It was mostly to give a visual example." I said, dusting himself off. "But, wait. Didn't Bernage say to Banjou. "Do you not know why you are?" What do you think that means?" Sawa asks. "That got me thinking too." I glanced at Ichika and Houki.
Sento: Actually, I've been interested in him for a long time. I've always found it odd.(steps next to computer) Falsely accused of a crime that until about a year ago, only had loose leads that lead back to you… Raises his Hazard Level faster than anyone else… Even me… Second to maybe…(glances at Houki) You Houki. Still, it's too much of a coincidence.
Chifuyu:(looks at Sento) You mean there's a secret behind Ichika's false accusation?
Sento:(shrugs) That I don't know.(looks at Ichika) Looks like we need to look into Banjou's episode 1.
Sawa, Houki, Ichika, Chifuyu, and Madoka:(In synch) Episode 1?
Sento:(pulls in Episode 1 Memory) Here we go! This! Your life story.
Ichika:(nods) Ah. I was born in a maternity hospital in Yokohama. I was a healthy 3203 gram baby-
Sento:(annoyed) Oi!(rider kicks Episode 1 away) No one asked for your whole life story!
Ichika:(watches it fly off) What the hell?! I was just getting started!
Sento:(looks at Ichika) So what happened to your parents? I know Madoka mentioned you're Uncle and Aunt.
Chifuyu:(looks at Sento) They died in an accident 10 years ago. Just when I had left Middle School, Ichika was 6.
Madoka:(looks at Chifuyu) No way. Uncle and Aunt also died in an accident 10 years ago.
Sawa:(looks at the three) What do you remember from it?
Chifuyu, Ichika, and Madoka:(in synch) That's the funny thing. I can't remember it clearly.
Ichika:(takes out Jelly Rock) I was still a kid, so the shock was too much for me.
Madoka:(leans back) Same. My memory of it is kinda fuzzy for Uncle and Aunt.
Chifuyu:(places hand on head) I am the same. Whenever I try and think back on it my head just seems to ache.
Sento:(looks at Houki) What about you Houki? What do you remember around that time?
Houki:(pulls out Jelly Rock) All I could remember was really the beginning of Ichika and Kasumi's relationship.
I cross my arms. "I see…" I mutter. "Ow OW ow!" "HOT HOT HOT!" Ichika and Houki shouts as their Jelly rocks begin to glow red hot with magma. The two drop the rocks as the outer obsidian later shatters. Two burnt bottles drop to the floor. "Hot! What the fuck?" "What just happened?" The two ask confused. Leaning down I pick up the two bottles and examine them. "Bottles?" Chifuyu asks, looking over my shoulder.
Both bottles are charred and burnt ash black. But one bottle having the carvings of a dragon, the other oddly shaped like some kind of tree.
I glance at Ichika and Houki. "What?" The two ask in synch.
Sento:(looks away) Nothing…(looks at Sawa) Sawa-san, can you investigate the Banjou family's past?
Sawa:(looks at Sento) Eh?...(nods) Sure… I'll see what I can find.
Sento: Good.(turns to workshop) Meantime, we'll create a Power-up item to replace the Sclash Driver.(looks at Bottles) This might be the hint. (looks at Ichika and Houki) Till then, you're going to have to use the Build Drivers.
Chifuyu:(looks towards Laura) And another thing. The Representatives are heading out of Japan soon.
Laura:(steps over) What?
Meanwhile in Seito… We are Observers…
Mido/Namba is getting his back rubbed by Utsumi as he enjoys his tea. "The queen or Mars?" Namba asks, putting down his cup. "Who would believe that?" Namba said, grabbing a stick and grabbing Anko sweets. "Funny thing about that Nam-chan." Tabane said, opening up a ceramic container, Tabane grabs a small steel tong grabbing sugar cubes and stacking them in a pyramid next to her glass of tea.
Tabane:(stacking sugar) I know it sounds crazy. And it is. It's something you wouldn't believe unless you saw it with your own eyes.
Utsumi:(rubbing Namba's shoulders) Whoever it is, she is a dangerous opponent we should not take lightly. This is the second time she has prevented our plans.
Tabane:(smiles) No worries Utsu-chan.(looks at Namba) The power she has? It's only temporary.(stacks last cube) She knows that too.
With careful precision, Tabane stacks the last cube on the top of the tower. "It's only a matter of time. A delaying tactic." Tabane said, grabbing one of the cubes in the bottom of the tower she pulls it out as the sugar cube tower tumbles to the ground. "She will fade and the board will be back to square one." Tabane assures, Namba chuckles as he enjoys his sweets and Utsumi gives him a shoulder rub. While the other two did not notice. Tabane looks down at the cubes, she smiles as her eyes change from her light purple eyes, to crimson red.
We are Chloe…
A dark void stretches out before me. When a spark of gold light flickers to life in the darkness, it burns bright for just a moment before it flickers and becomes smaller. The flame flashing various colors but seemingly becoming ever smaller. "Evolt…" The light mutters as the flame flickers holding on to it's last bit of light as it's consumed by the void. The light turns to embers and pops away, my eyes open to the ceiling of the lab.
*Bang!*
Rolling off the side of the bed, I instinctually open a drawer next to the bed. Inside is a spare pistol, I grab it and point towards the Lab with smoke and odd vines pouring out. "Eh? What's going on?" A figure runs out of the smoke. I keep my sights aimed when the figure becomes visible. 'Oh, it's just Sento.' I lower the gun, quickly putting together that this is another of his works. He's now covered in smoke, his goggles covered in dust, and some vines.
Sento:(looks around) Chloe?! You're awake?(rushes over to plushie) Are you alright?(patting plush) You became so fluffy… and even grew more hair…
Chloe: Sigh~(holsters gun) I'm over here.
Sento:(wipes away dust) Oh… Check it out!(steps over) I've completed Cross-Z's and Akatsubaki's power-up items. I'm amazing! I'm fantastic! I'm a Genius!
Chloe:(tilts head) Eh? Where are Banjou and Shinonono?
Sento:(turns around) Eh? Oh… Hey, Ichika, Houki?
Later… We are Sento…
Chloe and I walk over the rubble in the city outside. Helicopters and patroles roam the streets for any signs of Seito troops. Meanwhile, we left Ichika and Houki to rest in the Cafe. "I see…" Chloe mutters as I finish explaining to her the recent events that have occurred. "The queen of Mars possessed me." Chloe said.
Sento:(looks at Chloe) I said that I'd protect you… In the end, I wasn't able too… I'm sorry.
Chloe:(walking) It's not your fault, Sento. Anyway, I didn't feel strange or unwell. When I was possessed… I felt a sense of security, not fear. I haven't felt like that in a long time…
Sento:(nods) … It's given us some security too as well. Seito's not attacking right now. They must be afraid of Bernage's power.
Chloe:(looks at a plush on the ground) … But if her soul fades soon…(kneels down to pick up plush) … Then this power won't last long either.(looks at Sento) What about Laura? Where have my Sister and the other IS girls gone?
Sento:(crossing arms) They left by order of their nations. They are due to report to the United Nations to discern the honesty of Seito's statements of victory. With them are the war orphans that are being transferred to much more safe locations outside of Japan.
Chloe:(smiles) That must be a relief for Sawa-san…(sighs) Also to know that Laura is safe…
Sento: You know…(looks up at sky) Funny to think this but… I think Bernage has been watching over us for some time…
Chloe:(looks at Sento) What do you mean?
Sento:(turns to Chloe) Back during the 3 worlds incident, when Mirai-chan and I were crushed under rubble. Just before we regained consciousness, I heard her voice. When I heard it over recently, it was the exact same. She's been watching out for us this entire time. But, you're right, it's not likely to last forever… We need to do something before things escalate…
Chloe:(looking at a plush) Do you have a plan?
Sento:(turns to Pandora Tower) Something like that. I'll get Pandora's Box back from Seito… We should be able to use Pandora's Box to deter them from attacking, in place of Bernage's power, until the UN can finally step in.
Chloe:(looks up at Sento) But that would be an act of aggression against Seito. The UN will believe Seito in that we did lose.
Sento:(nods) Yeah. I guess it won't work…
I lean against a railing, fishing for a hundred yen coin from my breast pocket. I begin to play a coin trick with the coin in my hand. "Sento?" Chloe asks, I glance at her showing the 100 yen. "I said I had something of a plan." I said pocketing the yen and heading back towards home.
Inside Pandora's Tower… We are Observers…
Within a central chamber of the tower, the Pandora Box sits in the center of the Room. As Utsumi briefs Rain and Forte, while Tabane and Gentou listen from pillars on opposite sides of the room. Tabane has her back against the wall, watching the briefing. While Gentoku has his back turned, his face is obscured in darkness. Next to him on other faces of the pillar are Squall and Autumn.
Utsumi: You two will guard Pandora's Tower.
Rain and Forte:(salutes) All for Namba Heavy Industries!
Rain and Forte turn around and walk out of the room. A doorway materializes in front of the two as they walk though it and the doorway closes behind them. "..." Gentoku grumbles, Utsumi glances over and he stares at Gentoku's silhouette in the shadows. "Have something to say? Gentoku?" Utsumi asks, Gentoku steps out into view.
Gen:(walks over to Utsumi) Why did you invade Touto? I thought the fight was over. We lost.
Autumn:(looks at Gen) You even read the news? That's not what Seito thinks.
Squall:(looks at Utsumi) Regardless, I agree with Himuro. Why? The economy isn't in a prime state for a war like this.
Utsumi:(pushes up glasses) There will be enough. There's no need for you three to worry. Just follow my orders.
Gen:(steps up close to Utsumi) I don't remember being your dog.
Tabane:(sighs) Oh, cool your Jets, Gen-chan.(steps over to Gen) Lest you forget…(pats Gen on the shoulder) … That your fate is in our hands.
Tabane points a finger gun at Gentoku's heart. Gen simply looks at Tabane as she gives an ominous smile back. Tabane steps back, as cubes form around her and Utsumi then folds away leaving nothing behind, leaving Gentoku alone with the two Phantom Task Members. "They're setting us up to fall…" Gentoku mummers under his breath. "Yes they are." Squall said, Gentoku does not turn his back.
Squall:(looks at Gen) Himuro, I think it's time we rethink our alliegencies.
Gen:(glances back) Thinking of jumping ship?... Hmf… But, you're right. I think we do need to.
Autumn:(steps over) So what? We just jump back to Touto?(gestures to Gen) We can't do much without him. With that thing in him.
Squall:(looks at Autumn) Which is why I think we need to turn to the Genius to figure a solution.(looks at Gen) Himuro, we need to find out Seito's secrets if we are to get out of this fight alive.
Gen:(turns to Squall) … Agreed.
