Chapter 17.

Olivia walked into her office the next morning and found Fin sitting on the sofa in her office. Fin never enters her office without knocking, or even without her being in there so she knew something was up.

"Morning, Liv. Can we talk?" Fin asked.

Today was the first good day Olivia had had in awhile, and she was worried that whatever Fin may have to say would change her day quickly.

"Sure, let's talk. I'm assuming you'd like to do it in here?" Olivia mused.

"Sounds good," Fin replied. Olivia walked towards her desk as Fin shut the door. He moved back to the sofa as Olivia situated herself behind her desk.

"So what is happening?" Olivia questioned.

"Liv, are you okay? You have lost weight, and seem to be more upset than usual," Fin mused, as he watched Olivia closely. Usually he minded his own business, but not today. Not when Olivia's health could be at risk.

"Fin, I've lost weight because I've been getting sick a lot lately. It's morning sickness," Olivia explained awkwardly. Fin looked at her for a moment before leaning forward.

"Morning sickness? Olivia, are you pregnant? Did Stabler finally knock you up?" Fin asked, an awkward smile on his lips.

"Yes, I'm pregnant. But the baby isn't Elliot's, Fin." Olivia frowned. She reached into the top drawer on her desk and pulled out the sonogram from a few days prior. She stood and walked to where Fin sat, before passing it to him.

"Wait, you are with someone else? Who?" Fin asked, shocked. He lowered his eyes to the glossy image and looked at another child he would do absolutely anything for. Between Olivia and Amanda, there was going to be four kids that he'd jump in front of a bullet for, yet he'd never admit it out loud.

"Carisi," Olivia blurted out, wanting to keep the details of the party to herself. Fin looked up from the picture and looked at Olivia. He knew something was off the moment all of the color drained from her face and she started to gnaw on her lower lip.

"Did he force you to have sex with him? If so, I will arrest him for rape. I will not-"

"No! Fin, he didn't rape me. We were drugged by Dani Beck…" Olivia trailed off. She closed her eyes tightly, and didn't open them until Fin gently touched her arm. Olivia turned to face her oldest friend as tears streamed down her pale cheeks.

"Why did Dani drug you?" He asked gently. Olivia blinked several times, before shaky words left her lips.

"She hated what was happening between me and Elliot, how we were trying a relationship," Olivia whispered. Fin nodded hesitantly, before wrapping an arm around Olivia's waist. He pulled her to his side and held her close. Olivia cried quietly for a while, just letting out some things that she had been holding in.

For the last few days, she had been explaining the situation repeatedly. She had expected it to help her process everything, but it wasn't. It was making everything worse.

"You can tell me anything, Liv. I'm here for you," Fin whispered, as he continued to hold her close. Olivia sniffled as she lifted her head off his shoulder and took a shaky breath.

"It's pretty simple, I guess. She put GHB in our drinks, we slept together, and…"

"And what?" Fin asked, pushing Olivia slightly.

"And she taped Dominick and I having sex. So many people watched that video," Olivia whispered tearfully.

Olivia went through the story with Fin to the best of her ability. A lot of what happened she had no memory of, so Fin would only get to witness everything if he watched the video. Yet that video would not be watched by him or anyone else if she had any say about it.

"So she did it because she wants Elliot?" Fin questioned.

"Yes, she wanted me out of the picture. Dani put drugs in the drinks to make me pay for Elliot and I being together… We weren't even official, just in the experimental phase," Olivia sighed, as she stood and walked to her desk. She grabbed a few tissues before turning to observe her squadroom.

Fin stood and moved closer to her. He blocked the view of the squadroom and locked eyes with Olivia.

"What's the next step?" Fin asked.

"A trial, but I don't even know how far out that will be. Then recovering," Olivia frowned.

"And the baby?" Fin asked softly, as he reached out and gently brushed a tear from Olivia's cheek. She smiled at how kind her friend was being, when he usually was very ice cold at times.

"Dominick and I are keeping it. I know this isn't the most appropriate pairing, but it's what we want. This baby is innocent, and we've both always wanted to be parents. This time I get to bring a baby home to the little boy that made me a mom," Olivia spoke softly. She hated to hear another person ask if she wanted the baby, but it just came with the territory.

"Liv… what about any complications?" Fin whispered, not even wanting to speak any complications into reality.

"You know that I'm not young, Fin. I could lose the baby, either as a miscarriage, preterm labor, or even the baby being a stillborn. I can't act like everything will be perfectly fine, when I know it probably won't be. It's high risk… but I don't think I need to tell you that I want this baby. You already know that," Olivia breathed.

"Maybe your life has been all fucked up just so you could have this baby," Fin offered, and Olivia smiled weakly.

"Maybe," she replied.

The room lights turned on out in the squadroom, and Olivia spotted Amanda moving to her desk. Fin turned and spotted his partner.

"How is she dealing with it?" Fin asked, and Olivia shrugged.

"She told us that she understands what happened, and that she can't blame us for what happened. Yet I know… I just know that she's heartbroken. She doesn't want to tell me that because of how hard this pregnancy has already been."

"I'll try to not burden you with anything either, Liv. You don't need to be stressed more right now, especially since that little alien in your belly is more important than anything else," Fin mumbled, since he was getting all sweet and mushing.

"I'm capable of dealing with stress-"

"I think maybe desk duty would be the best for you. No running after perps, or shootouts," Fin grinned. "Just take it easy here and run the squad. Grow that kid and shop for baby clothes and look up ways to help with swollen ankles or something."

"I'm pregnant, not sick. Between you and Dominick, I'll be wrapped in bubble wrap months before my water breaks! I won't get hurt if I'm out in the field, and I hate desk duty," Olivia huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"If you hated desk duty so much, maybe you shouldn't have gotten knocked up," Fin said with a shit eating grin. Olivia took a slow breath and shook her head.

"Sergeant Tutuola, I think you should head back to work," Olivia replied, swatting his arm.
