Chapter 17

The New Order

~Maxine's POV~

Oh boy where do I even begin? Things have taken an unexpected turn the last few days or rather in the last twenty four to seventy two hours. I should be use to the strange events that happen in my everyday life by now but this takes the cake. Allow me to explain see it all began when me and my friends were riding on Dojo through the mountain terrain of China. Dojo was like one of those jet flight planes what with the speed he was going at, but his serpent like movement also reminded me of a rollercoaster. We were holding on to Dojo's back as he flew through the air to the location of the latest Shen Gong Wu.

"Dojo could you slow down just a might!" Clay asked.

"Don't sweat it cowpoke! This is China, I know these mountains like the back of my hands!" Dojo replied.

"But you don't have hands Dojo!" Said Kimiko.

"Good point!" Said Dojo rush flying into a large cavern cave before finally slowing down. Giving everyone the chance to breathe and relax.

"Ugh my stomach, I think I left it back outside." I said holding myself.

"Incoming!" Shouted Rai pointing at an on coming rock pillars.

Quickly Dojo moved at great speed to avoid being hit. To who or what was trying to pick us off was soon answered when my brother Jack showed up on top of a creature I never thought I would see in real life. Jack was riding on the back of a massive red cyclopes. Who was taking orders from Jack. Not sure where Jackie got a cyclopes from but somebody better explain this too me once we get out of this near death experience.

Dojo was doing everything he could to avoid getting hit; moving like a snake through the air around large pillars and he was doing great for a while but forgot the look where he was going and crashed into stalactite. He went falling too the ground landing with a big crash getting bent out of shape with a large boulder on his head. The rest of us were okay though Clay's hat looked to have seen better days.

"Well lookie there its the Shen-Ga-Roo." Clay pointed out spotting the Wu on a tall rock pillar.

All five of us hopped off Dojo only to be met face-to-face with the cyclopes and Jack. The cyclopes threw a punch our way but missed when we jumped out of the way. I jumped too the left with Kimiko while Rai and Clay took on the cyclopes from above on the stalagmites. I saw the creature back up stepping on a sharp pointed rock that caused him to hop around on one foot in pain. Jack was sent flying back where the Shen Gong Wu was located but luckily Omi got to it first.

"Nice try Jack Spicer but I believe the Shen-Ga-Roo is mine!" Said Omi.

"Oh give me a break! I work my fingers to the bone to get here first and I wind up with babkas!" Jack complained.

Suddenly, the cave began caving in. Rocks were falling and the ground was shaking thanks to cyclopes' massive foot hopping. We had to leave quickly before we were trapped. We quickly hopped on Dojo then caught Omi just as he was about to fall to the ground. Escaping the cave in record time with the Wu in our hold.

~Back at the Temple~

"Jack's no threat anymore. No Wuya, no Jack-bots, just a big one eyed loser. We kicked his butt." Said Rai during one of the monks training sessions.

"The map of evil may have changed but that does not mean there is no longer any threat." Said Master Fung.

"There is still Chase Young." Said Omi.

"And now Wuya is with him. That will only make him stronger." Said Kimiko.

"You may have beaten Chase Young once but he was not defeated. Too eat rotten egg rolls once is difficult. To eat them twice is another thing." Master Fung explained.

"What does that mean?" Clay asked.

"Who knows just do what I do, smile and nod." Dojo replied.

~Jack's House~

Having a large cyclopes around had its pros and cons but in Jack's case it was all cons. The cyclopes was a massive monster with a massive appetite which meant constant feeding. After returning from the cave unsuccessful cyclopes was starving so Jack had to feed the big piggy to keep him happy. That's why he was in the kitchen chopping, cooking and feeding cyclopes bucket after bucket of food. While feeding the cyclopes, Jack began to complain.

"They all think they have me beat huh? Monks, losers. My sister, she's a good kid but she's being a moron working with losers. While Wuya is a huge big loser and Chase Young...well he is kind of cool." Jack was saying to himself while feeding the cyclopes more food.

"But I am Jack Spicer, Prince of Darkness and I have a plan. (evil laugh)"

The cyclopes joined in on the evil laugh only to get a talk from Jack about how he can't do the evil laugh with him until he does it right.

~Chase Young's Palace~

We then go too Chase Young's palace where we find the evil warlord in his throne room. There were candles lite up, floating in the air around him as he floated with them. Think Hogwart's in the main hall where the candle's float in the air above everyone. That's what it was like in Chase Young's throne room. Only the candles weren't close to the ceiling but enough of that. Chase was meditating in the company of Wuya who was complaining about how they didn't go after the last three Shen Gong Wu. Too which Chase told her he had no interest in Shen Gong Wu like her.

"Right now I have more important matters. Delivering young Omi and Maxine to our evil ways." He told Wuya as he morphed into his lizard form.

"I don't understand, why are you wasting your time with that runt of a monk and pathetic girl?" Wuya asked Chase, questioning his plans.

"That is exactly the point you don't understand!" Chase replied morphing back to his human form. "Kindly leave me to my plans."

"Ah such command, such authority. Why if I were five hundred years younger and had a body." Said Wuya swishing away as Chase Young grunted in disgust.

~Later In a Desert/Maxine's POV~

Once again another Shen Gong Wu had revealed itself. Dojo was flying through the air mentioning something about his hairy tongue (gross) and the location of the new Wu that was somewhere in the desert area. Then Rai pointed out that finding the Wushan Geyser would probably take a lifetime to find because of all the sand surrounding us below. Can't say I didn't disagree. Finding the Wushan Geyser in all this sand was going to take time and time was of the essence. I decided to play some music while searching for the Wu. Turning on a David Bowie song I tried to get comfortable on Dojo's back and search.

~Sometime Later~

The sound of David Bowie's voice rang through my ears; the warm air blew through my hair as Dojo continued flying through the air. It had been almost an hour with no sight of the Wushan Geyser in sight. I was about ready to fall asleep leaning against Clay's back had I not spotted Omi quickly move onto Dojo's head. Quickly I removed my headphones to hear him speak.

"Uh oh, I think I've spotted it." He said having climbed on top of Dojo's head to broaden his search.

"(yawn) Why uh oh Omi?" I asked letting out a yawn.

"Because Chase Young has spotted it first." Omi pointed out.

Sure enough I could see Chase Young in front of us holding the Wushan Geyser in his hand. I could see Wuya floating next to him but she's not much of a threat compared to Chase Young.

"I believe that is ours!" Omi spoke to Chase Young.

"I like your spunk little one. Care to try to take it from me?" He replied.

The two appeared to be having a stare down or so I assumed. Dojo landed on the ground changing back to his smaller form once we got off his back. We stood before Chase Young. Locking eyes with him. Nobody moved or spoke for what felt like an eternity. I was wondering who would make the first move. Then Chase Young spoke.

"Perhaps you would like to take the Shen Gong Wu from me with my back turned." He said turning around.

"If there's one thing I can't stand its a cocky evil doer." Rai said.

I witnessed my friends form their Dragon X-Kumai Formation before surrounding Chase Young. I jumped in standing next to Omi in fighting stance. Surprised when I saw a lovesick Wuya fly by commenting Chase. To be honest, it was creepy and gross to watch at the same time.

"So we meet again." Chase said before whistling signaling his jungle cats to appear and surround us.

The five of us moved in close together till we were back-to-back. Looking at the jungle cats we were out numbered and out matched should Chase give them the signal to attack. Rai made a comment then Dojo made a comment while shaking and hiding in Clay's hat. Can't blame the little guy for hiding. After almost getting eaten when we first met Chase, Dojo has every right to protect himself. My attention went from Dojo to Omi who began attacking Chase with various moves.

"Monkey Fist!"

"Lizard Line!"

"Roaster Kick!"

"Leopard Strike!"

"Crouching Snake!"

No matter what move Omi used he couldn't strike down Chase Young. The guy hadn't even moved from his spot while defending against Omi's attacks. Chase is ticking me off. He may have better moves but that doesn't mean we can't knock him down.

"You've learned well, now show me something I don't know." Said Chase.

Suddenly, Chase was grabbed by his right foot by a large, familiar hand. Out of the sand appeared Jack and the cyclopes. "Say hello to my little freak." Said Jack doing a Scar Face impression while cyclopes made a roaring growling sound. The others and I stood on the sidelines watching everything. Soon as the cyclopes was done making a commotion Chase Young spoke.

"Is this the best you can do Jack?" He said before tossing up the Wu in the air then kicking it with his free foot at the cyclopes eye. Jack and cyclopes went backwards and collapsed into the sand. "The idea is adequate but the execution's lacking as are you." Said Chase Young.

I went from looking at Jack to Chase to Jack again. Who was spitting sand out of his mouth while his body was half buried.

"Oh yeah well I've got something that you don't." Said Jack.

"Very small hands?" Chase replied mocking Jack.

"No, the Sphere of Yun!" Jack said pulling out a small ball that glowed and after a sudden bright light grew larger trapping Chase inside. "Ha! Who's your evil bad dude now?! I'm bad! I'm bad! I not only have Chase captured but I have his powers too!"

"Hold on, hold on let me check!" Came Dojo who was checking out the information on the Wu on a scroll. "He's right! The Sphere of Yun, not only traps its subject in a cage but gives its controller control of its possessives possessions. That's a mouthful."

"Cool which means the jungle cats are now in my control." Said Jack realizing the power he now held which worried me.

The jungle cats closed in circling around us just waiting to pounce. The gang and I were in trouble unless I tried talking Jackie out of doing when I was sure he was thinking.

"Jack, Jackie, let's not do anything hasty." I began saying. "You wouldn't send a pack of carnivorous beasts on a group of innocent kids let alone your own sister, would you?" I gave my best puppy dog eyes in hopes of melting Jack's heart.

Jack's expression softened up when looking into my eyes. I was thinking he might just give in and let us go. Thinking he wasn't that cruel or stupid to let this newfound power cloud his mind; unfortunately, I have been known for being wrong from time-to-time. The look of guilt and soft eyes vanished from my brother's face.

"Sorry sis its nothing personally but business is business, or in this case evil business is evil business." Jack told me before snapping his fingers which set the jungle cats off to attack my friends and I.

Within moments, we had jungle cats pouncing at us. Claws and teeth at the ready. We took our positions fighting back the best we could but we were nearly creamed, pulverized, torn apart if not for Jack calling the cats off. I watched from afar as the cyclopes picked up the orb Chase Young was trapped in. Watching as Jack taunted Chase then the trio and all the jungle cats took off.

"I can't believe it. Score one for the guy with all the makeup." Said Rai.

"I can't believe it either. Score one for my brother for actually thinking like a villain." I said to no one in particular.

~Chase Young's Palace/Normal POV~

Now that Chase Young was trapped in the Sphere of Yun and Jack had obtain his powers over the jungle cats, Jack was free to claim Chase Young's palace for his own. Rest upon Chase's throne, Jack was stroking one of the jungle cats while cyclopes played around with this remote that controlled lighting and scenery up above.

"I gotta hand it to you this is one fine crib, and now its my crib." Jack was boasting to Chase.

"You should count your good fortune while it lasts." Chase said, smirking at that last part.

"Ooooh I'm so scared. I wasn't good enough to work for you, but your not in charge anymore Mr. High and Dragon Mighty are you? I'm in charge! Jack Spicer! What you say? Jack Spicer that's right!"

That boy is asking for it.

Chase let out a yawn before telling jack to keep it down so he could get some sleep. Then Wuya appeared out from behind the throne while Jack gloated to her about her so-called admirer being trapped like a parrot. Wuya, being pathetic as she can get sometimes tried to butter up Jack with compliments. Jack on the other hand walked up to cyclopes getting his attention. Telling him the two of them were going to spread some evil around and what better place than the Xiaolin Temple?

~Xiaolin Temple/Maxine's POV~

After we returned to the temple and cleaned ourselves up, the gang and I were talking about the situation while tossing a ball around. Supposedly its like in kindergarten when someone tosses a ball the person who catches it can speak their mind. I watched Clay pass the ball to Kimiko.

"All of the powers of Chase Young and all the idiocy of Jack Spicer. What a scary combination." Said Kimiko passing the ball to me.

"Tell me about it. I still can't believe Jackie actually got the upper hand on Chase Young." I said passing the ball to Omi.

"Maybe he will finally be satisfied and quit his evil ways?" Said a hopeful Omi but that hope was cut short when the jungle cats appeared out of nowhere and surrounded us. Jack and cyclopes were blocking the only way out.

"Uh you might wanna do a rain check there Omi." I said observing our situation.

"If you are here to surrender you are most welcome. Otherwise prepare for defeat." Omi told Jack.

"Otherwise prepare for defeat." Said Jack taunting Omi. "Your more full of yourself then me."

That was a poor choice of words.

"Jungle cats, entertain my little friends." Jack said to the cats.

I watched my friends for 'Dragon X-Kumai Formation' then spring at the cats in attack mood. I followed in pursuit joining the fight. We threw kicks and punches and throws and did flips at the beasts. Gaining the upper hand for a short while, but we we no match. Despite having martial arts skills the jungle cats were not playing around and outranked us. I thought for sure we were about to meet Death at the door when suddenly, Master Fung appeared. I could tell from the look on his face that he was serious.

The jungle cats took their positions coming at Master Fung. Who knocked them all back in one swipe. Then he spun in the air before landing on his hands and doing this fancy flip kick at one of the cats. Which followed by this forceful shove downward towards another cat. Then he's doing all these kicks and punches and...Oh my gosh. He took a jungle cat by the tail and was using the beast like a num-chuk. Swinging it around knock back the other jungle cats. I mean OMG, words alone cannot describe how remarkably skillful Master Fung is; and yet when the battle was other he slid to the ground fatigued. We rushed over to him, making sure he was alright.

"Master Fung, are you alright?" I asked him watching Clay help Mast Fung onto his feet.

"I am fine, I am just not as young as I use to be." He replied. "We must get to the vault at once."

We hurried as fast as we could too the vault. Course after having dealt with carnivorous beasts that almost tore us limb from limb and helping your teacher walk after he used all his energy protecting his students it took a little time reaching the vault. When we did we found Jack and cyclopes as expected.

"Jack Spicer!" Omi cried out.

"You got away from the cats sooner than I expected." Said Jack.

"Yeah well you underestimated our teacher." I told him.

"And nobody expected the Flying Crane Hokato Masher Move." Omi added in.

Jackie threw a large bag filled with Wu in his seating platform before hopping in himself.

"Any who its been real but we've got places to go and evil to do. One eyed freak giddy up!" Jack gave cyclopes the signal.

Omi and I stepped up to try and stop Jack but were stopped ourselves when we saw the large pack of jungle cats before us. Aall we could do was stand and watch cyclopes walk through the vault wall with Jack on board and the jungle cats following from behind. Once the coast was clear Clay went down to see how much Wu we lost.

"Hey its not too bad, most of the Wu is still here." He told us coming out.

"Not too bad?! It was a disaster!" Rai said grabbing hold of Clay. "I got cat spit in places I don't even like to think about."

"Fighting Jack is one thing but those jungle cats are too much. We may never win another Shen Gong Wu." Said Kimiko in disappointment. We were all disappointed about the outcome but what could be done about it?

"It was better when Chase had the power. At least he did not go after the Wu." Omi explained before Rai cut in.

"What are you talking about? He's the enemy Omi."

"I was simply talking out loud I meant nothing."

But I knew Omi was right. Hell the expression on his face was a dead give away. When Chase Young had the power to command his jungle cats he never bothered using them to fight us. Let alone go after Shen Gong Wu with them in tow unlike Jack. Meaning the only way to stop my power hungry brother is to free Chase Young from his containment.

~Later That Night~

I waited till dark before sneaking out of my room too the vault. I knew what I was about to do was wrong but it was the only way. If Chase isn't free Jack will remain in control of the jungle cats and eventually we'll end up as their next meal. Quickly I hurried to the vault but ended up bumping into someone. We both fell backwards and after taking a minute saw Omi in front of me on the ground.

"Omi, what are you doing out here?" I asked surprised to see the little guy.

"Maxine, I was just...uh out for a walk." Said Omi clearly lying. "What are you doing out here?"

"(sigh) Your going to the vault to free Chase Young aren't you?"

"What?! That is most ridiculous! It is the crazy talk as you say. Ha, ha, why would I do such a silly thing like that?"

"Because I was about to do the same thing."

My words caught him off guard.

"What?"

"Omi, we both know that the only way to stop Jack is to free Chase Young from the Sphere of Yun. I know its wrong but what choice do we have? My brother needs to be stopped before someone gets injured or worse."

"(heavy sigh) I believe you are most right Maxine, but if we are wrong at least our friends will not have to share in our mistake."

"True but I doubt it."

I stood up before lending a hand out to help Omi onto his feet. "Come on, we gotta move before anyone else appears." I told him.

Together, we went inside the vault returning moments later with The Golden Tiger Claws, Reversing Mirror and Orb of Tornomi.

~Chase Young's Palace~

Using the Tiger claws we transported ourselves to Chase Young's palace or to be more specific, his throne room. Landing but a couple feet from where the master of evil was kept. Still trapped in his orb-like prison but he seemed calm. He was meditating till we came along and he opened his eyes and spoke.

"I didn't realize it was visiting hours." He said smiling.

"W-We didn't come for a visit." I said looking away.

"So why are you here?" He asked.

"To rescue you! Reversing Mirror!" Omi cried out.

Thanks to the Reversing Mirror the Sphere orb whatever you wanna call it broke. Once the dust cleared away we could see Chase Young standing before stepping out.

"And now there is something I must do." He said.

"Thank us?" Omi asked getting bashful.

"Destroy you both." Said Chase.

Huh?! We free Chase Young and as a thanks he says he's going to destroy us? What the Hell kind of appreciation is that? The least he could do is spare our lives this one time but no. No, he's got to destroy us. Should have seen that coming from a mile away. Having no other choice, Omi and I got into position. We circled around the center of the room. Chase Young was across from us ready to fight.

"You both should really be more careful in who you trust." He said.

"That seems only to be a problem when we trust you!" Omi replied jumping at Chase Young.

I watched the pair fight till Omi used that Repulse the Monkey move to flip over behind Chase.

I jumped forward to attack Chase from the front while Omi took his back. Chase kept dodging our attacks but the look on his face actually looked kind of pleased.

"You both have learned well from our last encounter." He said.

"Well we were taught by the best." Said Omi.

"Thank you." Said Chase.

"He was speaking of Master Fung smart ass! Hiya!" I cried out throwing a couple punches and blocks.

Chase may have the upper hand but there was no way Omi and I can't show him off. I tried to kick at his stomach but he jumped back, grabbed my leg, spun me around and tossed me aside. I landed hard on the ground on my side. Soon followed by Omi who came flying landing besides me. Chase Young appeared holding Omi and me down with his foot and hand. Omi with his foot to his chest and me with one hand grabbing hold of my left wrist.

"So have either of you reconsidered my offer to join me?" He asked us.

"No, I owed you a favor and now I have repaid it!" Omi said.

"And if I refused Wuya's offer to join her then the same applies to you!" I said.

"You both may be closer then you think to joining me with those little white lies." Chase told us.

"I do not lie!"

"Neither do I!"

"Really?" Chase began releases us from his hold. "You mean you both didn't free me for your own self interests to stop that nitwit Jack Spicer?"

Okay he had us there.

"Well...maybe...a little."

"I mean...kind of...we had no other choice."

"Isn't that what evil is all about? A lie here a little bad there. Suddenly its so easy." Chase explained rubbing Omi's head; brushing one of my cheeks with his other before walking away. Leaving Omi and myself aloe with our thoughts.

~Back at the Temple/Normal POV~

Dojo was ringing a large bell waking up the remaining monks who ran to his location.

"Dojo?"

"Hey what's up?"

"What in the wild, wild west is going on?"

"Its the round guy and smart girl, they're gone."

"Oh no, Omi and Maxine must have gone to fight Jack on their own!" Said Kimiko.

"Those two have more pride then a dog has fleas." Said Clay.

"We gotta hurry, Omi and Maxine might need us." Said Kimiko.

Quickly the three monks climbed onto an enlarge Dojo who took off immediately once they were on his back.

~Back at Chase Young's Palace~

Jack and cyclopes had finally returned to the palace. Having not yet realized Chase had been freed from his imprisonment, Jack once again started taunting him.

"Hey, hey, hey how's it going Mr. I use to be somebody evil?"

"It goes well, and you?"

"Better than you can say loser! Hazbin! Old evil relic! Old evil do do head!"

Jack laughed for a while until it finally hit him.

"Hey, hey how'd you get all the way over here when I left you over there?"

And on that note Jack went from being top gun to a shriveling wimp in under five minutes.

"Please don't hurt me! I'm frail and I bruise easily." He begged.

"I was always with you Chase at least in spirit." Said Wuya going back over to Chase Young's side now that Jack no longer held the power.

"There's one thing I want to know." Chase began.

"Yes anything!" Said Jack.

"Who would you rather be right now, you...(transforms into his lizard form) or me?"

"You."

"Care to watch Omi, Maxine?"

The pair stepped out from the shadows standing in front of Jack and behind Chase Young.

"No, this is our battle." Omi replied as Chase Young returned to his human form. "Return the Shen Gong Wu now or suffer a humiliating defeat."

"Or that's right gain up on the weakling." Said Jack jumping onto his feet. "Stand back, I have Wu and I'm not afraid to use it!"

Jack wasted no time using the stolen Shen Gong Wu to his advantage but having little to no results. As Omi, Maxine and Chase Young had an advantage in dodging and using the Wu against him. When Jack tried getting cyclopes to attack for him, Omi and Maxine fought back. Knocking the creature back into the wall with Jack caught in the middle. Before Jack could attack again the other monks had arrived stopping Jack thanks to Clay's handy rope work.

"Hey how did Chase get out?" Rai asked.

"What's going on?" Questioned Kimiko.

Omi and Maxine were in trouble. They hadn't thought this far ahead, let alone thought the others would come to their aide. Maxine looked over at Omi who was sweating up a storm. He seemed more nervous then she was about this dilemma.

"Well you see...we uh came here to uh..." Omi was trying to say when Chase Young cut him off. Touching the Mantis Flip Coin Omi held in his hand after collecting it from the ground.

"Take back the Shen Gong Wu."

"What?"

"I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown!"

"But I..."

"I wager the Shroud of Shadows and you?"

"Uh I wager the Orb of Tornomi!"

"The game is a test of skills. Follow the leader Kung Fu style. Last to drop loses."

"Agreed let's go, Xiaolin Showdown!"

The room around everyone began to change upon the call of saying 'Xiaolin Showdown' aloud. What was once Chase Young's throne room began to change. Large rock pillars sprouted and cracked out from the ground. Striking out as they grew higher and higher until stopping close to the roof of what had turned into a massive cave. Everyone stood on opposite sides as Omi and Chase stood across from each other ready to begin the Showdown.

"Gong Yi Tempi!"

"Jumping Tiger Hidden Monkey!" Cries Omi flipping on the tips of the stalagmites on the ground. Balancing on the third tallest one before jumping, grabbing a large and tall stalagmite.

"Interesting but not so difficult." Said Chase doing the exact same moves Omi did.

"Big deal, I could do that if I wanted to." Said Jack being cocky.

"You can't even tie your shoelaces without instructions." Said Wuya getting up in his face.

"Try this one, Bison stomping Crane!" Said Chase jumping back and forth till he landed on the tip of an even taller stalagmite.

"Ha, piece of pie." Said Omi.

"Piece of cake." Said Maxine.

Omi looked at her before repeating the same moves Chase Young did. Earning himselfa cheer from his peers.

"Roaster Calling Sun!"

"Wasp Stinging Flower!"

"Cheetah at Rest!"

"Mosquito Climbing Tree!"

"Duck Eating Cracker!"

"Grasshopper Doing Dog Paddle!"

"They have got to be making this stuff up." Said Rai finding it hard to believe these were real moves the pair was doing.

"Grasshopper Doing Dog Paddle. Right here in black aand white. Right net to Spider Doing Hokey Pokey." Said Dojo going through a book called 'Fighting Moves' to confirm.

"You have come far little monk."

"Far enough to win this Showdown."

"Really? Butterfly Fools Moth on Sipper Tree!"

The pair jumped into the air when suddenly Chase Young used the Shroud of Shadows to make a stalagmite invisible causing Omi to miss it and go falling. The others grew nervous calling out to Omi who managed to grab another stalagmite to prevent himself from falling.

"Moth not fooled." He said to Chase jumping on a flat rock platform next to him.

"Losing your nerve little one?" He asked jumping to a flat rock platform.

"No, but you are losing the contest. Tornado Strike, Ice!" Omi cried out icing the platform Chase was about to land on causing him to slip and fall.

Omi tried to maintain his balance as Chase fell towards the ground. Everyone was watching. Antsy to see what was about to happen. Having accepted his fate, Chase landed on the ground using only one finger. Followed by Oi who landed on a stalagmite tip.

"It appears you win." Said Chase to Omi.

"Yes it does." Omi said.

The Showdown was over and Omi was claimed the victor. Reclaiming the stolen Shen Gong Wu and earning praise from his peers.

"Again we meet and again we come to no final solution." Said Chase as a jungle cat got cozy around his legs.

"Hey Omi beat you fair and square." Said Rai walking out with Kimiko and Clay and Dojo leaving Omi and Maxine behind where they stood.

"If you say so." Said Chase Young watching the monks leave before turning to look at Omi and Maxine.

"Thank you." Said Omi quietly joining his friends.

Maxine gave Chase a small nod before following Omi out the entrance way.

As the group made their way out of the palace Kimiko asked how Omi and Maxine were doing.

"Oh yes I am very much top tip." Omi replied.

"Uh Omi I think you mean tip top." Maxine told him. "And I'm alright just exhausted."

"You know I was wondering did I really win, or did he just let me win?" Omi asked.

"Why would Chase let you win?" questioned Clay.

"Yeah its not like you or Maxine ever did anything for him." Joked Rai.

This startled the pair. Their friends had no idea what the two of them did and hopefully they never would, but that didn't mean the guilt wasn't bothering them. How could they tell the others what they did before their arrival? Would they understand? Somethings were better left unsaid and this was one of them.

At last the chapter is complete!
