Heart-warming Christmas
Haruka stared out the window and saw a lot of snow, and looked at the calendar, it was the 24th of December. "It's that time now?" She thought.
Hotaru also got home from school, along with Setsuna.
" Haruka Papa! I'm home!" Hotaru exclaimed.
" Hime chan, you're back!" Haruka said as she hugged her.
" Haruka Papa, Today is Christmas, the teacher gave us a holiday for the school."
"Yes, Haruka. Hotaru wants to spend a nice Christmas, Professor Tomoe told me to spend more time her, when she was a child, her father didn't even have a chance to stay with her daughter for Christmas. " Setsuna replied.
"No problem, Sets."
Michiru wore a red sweater with a christmas tree picture in the middle, surrounded by snowflakes.
" Haruka, can I have a word with you?"
" What, Michiru?"
" Just a short chat. Come up stairs."
Setsuna and Hotaru are taking all their belongings from their backpack and act like nothing happened.
" Setsuna Mama, What is Haruka Papa and Michiru Mama talking about?"
" I'm not sure, Hime-chan, let's get dressed and I'll help cook our Christmas dinner."
" Thanks, Setsuna Mama!"
Haruka and Michiru closed the door and discussed what are they going to do next.
" What's the matter, Michiru, are you angry or something?"
" I'm not, Haruka. Why?"
" I noticed you are hiding everything."
" No, Haruka. I think it we could invite Seven and Ultraman to be with Christmas." Michiru whispered.
" Seven san?"
" I think if we could invite them to Christmas, they would know what's Christmas like on earth."
" I wonder if they have Christmas in their hometown."
Ultraman and Seven were walking outside of the Juban District, they have a chance of free time to visit the city.
"Seven, this place is nice with a lot of decorations."
"And a lot of Christmas trees in the place."
"So beautiful. Isn't it?"
"I wish we could have Christmas in the Land Of Light."
"I know, but our job will never stop. Fighting evil forces, sometimes in Christmas we must fight against kaiju and aliens."
"But today we still have time, right?"
"Should we go and spend Christmas with somebody?"
"Who?"
"How about visiting Michiru and Haruka's house?"
" Haruka and Michiru?"
"You wanted to see them, right?"
" Sort of, but too bad we are busy during these days, and our parents are keeping an eye on us."
"We can't help it, Seven. It's important to maintain our job, breaking the law is a big risk to us."
Haruka is climbing the ladder and wrapped the ornaments around the christmas tree, Michiru is preparing the stockings, hanging them on top of the fireplace, Setsuna is preparing the Christmas dinner , while Hotaru is placing the utensils and plates on the table.
"Finished!" Haruka said.
" I'm done also." Michiru said.
" Dinner is ready, everyone!" Setsuna said.
At the table, there was a big turkey, mashed potatoes, some vegetables, gravy, Christmas pudding, salmon smeared with onions and lemon slices, also a big plate of pasta. Setsuna was wiping her sweat as she have to prepare a lot of food for the dinner.
" Setsuna, are you alright?"
" Nothing, just tired."
" Are we ready to eat, Setsuna Mama?"
" Let Setsuna finish her introduction first. Then we could eat." Michiru said.
Seven and Ultraman are admiring the decorations of the building, they almost finished walking the whole street.
" It's time for us to visit them. I remember where their house is."
They both teleported to their location and land near the entrance.
" Haruka, It has been a long time since we could have a nice christmas dinner." Michiru said as she is stuffing a piece of turkey to her mouth.
" So delicious!"
" So they are eating christmas dinner."
" I really appreciate how humans have a nice dinner to show harmony to their family."
" Except we were not humans, unable to have the feeling."
" I know that."
The Outer Senshi are chatting happily in the dining table, and about a half an hour, the dinner was finished,
" Setsuna Mama, the dinner is delicious!" Hotaru said as she wiped her mouth with a napkin.
" Thanks, Hime-chan." Setsuna said , stacking the plates and bowls bit by bit.
" Sets, do we have any other stuff to do for the rest of the night?" Haruka asked.
" Haruka, sorry to interrupt, someone is knocking the door."
" I wonder who it is at that time?" Haruka asked.
" I'll take a look."
Haruka and Michiru opened the front door and realized Seven and Ultraman were standing near the front door.
" Seven san, why are you here?"
" Ultraman?"
" Haruka, nothing. Just wanted to spend a christmas with you girls."
" You don't have Christmas before in the Land Of Light?" Haruka asked.
" We don't have Christmas." Seven said.
" Do you want to come in and stay with us?"
" Maybe just this night, Michiru?"
" Why?"
" Because we have to be back on time, the King would be angry at us."
" It won't take too long." Haruka said.
Haruka and Michiru gestured them to come in their house.
" Haruka, Michiru, who's that?" Setsuna asked.
" Seven san and Ultraman are here." Haruka said.
" Hmm? Why they're here?"
" Because they want to know what a true Christmas looks like, so they want to experience it on earth."
" Let them in, I have a history with Seven." Setsuna said.
" I remember when Seven san spoke to me about Haruka fall in love with you, you were on the scene Sets." Michiru said.
" Haruka Papa? Michiru Mama? Who's coming?"
" Seven san?" Hotaru asked.
" Hotaru, Hi." Seven greeted.
" Michiru, your house is warm."
" We opened the fireplace in our house."
" You two can sit at the sofa, we will take a look at the scenery of the city afterwards." Setsuna said.
Ultraman and Seven both put their hands near the fireplace, they felt warm after walking almost an hour from the city to their house. It's their first time could feel warmth since they were a child. They need to work by fighting evil forces and aliens from the galaxy. Every single year is like this. The same process keeps repeating.
" This is how a fireplace looks like." Seven said.
" It's warm."
" Don't tell me you guys haven't had a fireplace in your home?"
" We're not humans, we're aliens. How could we have money to buy wood? And plus, we cannot infiltrate too much on human life."
" We were so busy every day. The job is never done on defending our homeland."
" Aliens?" Hotaru asked.
" Same as the Starlights?" Haruka asked.
" Yes, but our Land has a lot of ultras, comparing to them."
" Can't you transform to normal humans like the starlights?"
" We were humans in the past, but the plasma spark absorbed us and we became Ultras."
" Oh, I see."
" Then you've came to the right place, both of you. " Setsuna said.
" We have a lot of Christmas Decorations and a big Christmas Tree here!" Hotaru exclaimed.
" So, that's how Christmas feels like in a family." Ultraman said.
" Would you stay with us in the rest of the night?" Michiru asked.
" Probably not, we will leave this place for you and the others."
" Haruka, Michiru, Can you two help me with the dishes? You two can talk to your partners later." Setsuna said, wiping the dirty dishes with detergent.
" Coming, Setsuna." Haruka and Michiru said.
Hotaru, Ultraman and Seven are sitting near a fireplace, keeping warm.
" Hotaru, how's things going? I assume this is the first time of you having Christmas." Seven asked.
" I'm fine, Mr Seven."
" Mister?"
" Because you were older than Haruka Papa, Michiru Mama and Setsuna Mama. And that's right, It was the first time of me having Christmas."
" Just call me Seven is ok, Hotaru."
" Setsuna Mama helped me a lot, she cooked food and study at the same time for almost every day."
" Then you need to appreciate her and Haruka, Michiru's hard work for raising you." Ultraman said.
" I will."
After a few minutes, The three outer senshi finished their cleaning.
" Whew! Finished!" Michiru exclaimed.
" Sets, Great job on cooking dinner!" Haruka said.
" Thanks for the compliment, Haruka." Setsuna smiled. " But Next time, you two can help me cook dinner for me and Hotaru, it's that ok?"
" We will, Sets."
Setsuna took her apron off and placed on the chair.
" Hime-chan, did you get along with those two gentlemen?"
" Yes, Setsuna Mama! They were so kind."
" Thanks for spending time with Hime-chan, Seven, Ultraman."
" It's nothing, Setsuna."
" By the way, Setsuna , can we go up the balcony?"
" Yes, you two can come along."
After plugging off the socket near the fireplace, they head upstairs. bSeven and Ultraman both are surprised that even though they didn't get to know Setsuna more deeply, She would accept those two aliens to join them. Maybe is because she heard the conversation between Haruka and Michiru after she saw the footage that Seven gave her to show proof that they were not undercovers sent by an evil force? In fact, Setsuna had already trusted them by their heroic act of witnessing the scene of them saving Haruka and Michiru, she noticed the tears of the two ultras glistening on their eyes ; It was the time when she watched a show broadcasting a recap on every best episode ranking in history. The tears were true, though it was made of sparkles. She was surprised and shocked on how an Alien can be emotional. This also proved they treated Haruka and Michiru as partners.
The Outer Senshi family along with the Ultras, stood up the balcony, gazing the colourful city with a lot of decorations and Christmas lights connected to almost every building.
" Haruka, It's beautiful. It's been a long time had we ever seen such beautiful scenery." Michiru smiled.
" I know, Michiru." Haruka said,
" Earth's Christmas is so interesting, having a lot of Christmas decorations, and I felt harmony in your family, it was a good experience." Ultraman said.
" Good to hear from you."
" What are your plans for the next year, Seven san?" Haruka said and asked him.
" Same old, Haruka. Fighting evil forces for our land."
" Me too, Michiru." Ultraman responded.
" Would you two visit more to our house?" Michiru responded.
" We will, but if only the King allowed us to have day offs."
" Then try to persuade your King if you have the chance."
" Haruka, Michiru. Seven and Ultraman have their own difficulties, you two need to understand." Setsuna said.
" Our bonds will connect each other, you know. Even we were apart, Out hearts are still are together." Seven said.
" Just wait for us, Michiru, Haruka chan." Ultraman said.
" Haruka Papa, Michiru Mama. Mister Seven and Ultraman said if they have time, they will rescue you." Hotaru said.
" Trust me, Haruka chan." Seven said.
" Just promise me, Seven san. If I really need your help, you must save me." Haruka said.
" Don't be sad, Haruka. You need to be strong." Seven said.
" You too, Ultraman. If Haruka and me in trouble, you need to save me also." Michiru said with sadness.
" I promise you Michiru/Haruka , we would be with you in your side." Seven and Ultraman both said.
" Let us hug each other." Setsuna said.
Setsuna, along with Seven and Ultraman wrapped their arms around Haruka, Michiru and Hotaru. This hug is warmer than the moments when Hotaru and Setsuna hug themselves. They all vowed no matter what happens, no matter how far they apart, they would be together. Despite how the snow itself hitting their backs, they didn't shiver nor flinch. This formed a fire of friendship, Unity and a bond.
" We will always be together." The Outer Senshi and the two ultras vowed.
