Noire slashed against the grandogoo that made its way over to the barrier. The oversized dogoo disintegrated into small particles signaling its death. The black goddess scanned her surroundings to see if there were any more monsters that go close to the area.
Noire huffed, "At least they can't get through the barrier, but it is a bit annoying having them attack me."
Her holographic screen suddenly popped up, catching the CPU by surprise. As it rang, Noire noticed the name. She answered the call and saw her sister's panicked expression.
"Noire!"
"Uni? What's the matter?"
"We're flying over to you, please open the barrier for us! Blanc and Vert need help!"
Noire moved over to the barrier and quickly created a hole. "The barrier is open. What happened?"
Before she got an answer, something flew past the barrier fast. Noire held down her skirt as the wind blew past.
"What the-!"
"Sorry, Noire, but we had to get away fast," Black Sister voiced.
The three candidates landed and gently put the two injured CPUs down. Noire knelt down by Vert and checked her pulse. She let out a breath of relief to see that she was alive.
"What happened to them?"
"T-They were already like this when we saw them," whimpered the blue-haired candidate.
Black Sister gritted her teeth. "Rei really beat them until they were black and blue."
"We're everyone else okay?" Noire asked.
"They should still be fighting. Only Blanc and Vert were unconscious," Black Sister informed.
"Ugh…"
"Blanc! Blanc! Don't die!" cried the younger White Sister.
Noire shifted over to Blanc to see her tiredly open her blue eyes. "Blanc."
"N-Noire…"
"Don't speak. Save your energy," advised the black goddess.
"S-Sorry. S-She got the better of us." With those words, Blanc lost consciousness again.
"Grrr…" Noire stood up and faced the barrier. "Uni, will you three be alright carrying Blanc and Vert all the way to Leanbox?"
Black Sister nodded. "Of course! We have to."
Noire took out the only healing potion she received. Plutia's words rang in her head as she gripped the bottle. Being mindful of her words as she transformed into Black Heart, she announced, "I'm gonna go kick some butt!"

"Mega Slash!" Rei swung her clubbed staff, knocking White Heart back.
Rei heard the gust of win and twisted her body and kicked Yellow Heart gauntlets. Yellow Heart backed away a bit to get some room, then she went for a punch only for her arm to be pushed aside. Rei took this chance to thrust her staff at Yellow Heart's stomach. The yellow CPU yelped as she was knocked away.
Green Heart caught Yellow Heart and helped balance her before charging at Rei. Purple Heart flew in beside the green goddess to provide backup. Rei blasted out multiple lightning balls at the two CPUs, but her attack was easily deflected.
Rei braced herself for the incoming CPUs, but cried out in pain when Black Heart snuck up from behind and struck her back. Losing her focus, Rei was no longer prepared for Purple Heart and Green Heart as they knocked her up higher into the air where Iris Heart was.
The iris-haired goddess whipped her serrated sword and slashed Rei down with great force. She crashed to the ground like a meteor, creating a crater.
"My, finished already?" Iris Heart giggled.
The crazed CPU glared up at the sky where the others floated. Rei let out a battle cry as she shot off the ground. She flew past everyone and turned around once she was above the other CPUs.
"You all…" Rei lift up an arm as her white mechanical wings were covered in a black substance that sprouted from her back. Now, it looked like she had large black devil wings. "Are so… ANNOYING!" She swung her arm down and the black wings shot out weird black liquids toward the CPUs.
Everyone flew around to avoid the weird attack, but it followed them. White Heart was the first to be hit and she fell to the found. The black substance hardened and pinned her to the ground.
"Wh-What the hell is this?!" White Heart growled as she tried to break out of the obsidian rock.
"Blanc!" Green Heart flew down to help only to be hit by the black substance too. She fell next to White Heart and was trapped. "Curses!"
"Just disappear quietly!" Rei's black wings stretched out further and more black liquids shot out, raining down like a storm.
Black Heart tried to defect it, but it stuck to her sword instead. "What the-!" While trying to shake the now hardened black glowing stone, she was struck down by the black substance.
"Noire!" Purple Heart dove down to try and catch Black Heart.
"Neptuna, behind you!" Yellow Heart warned.
Purple Heart turned around to see the black liquids shooting toward her. "Oh no!" She didn't have time to dodge, so she could only wait for her doom.
Yellow Heart intercepted the black sludge and was hit instead of Purple Heart. Her wings were bound and the yellow goddess fell to the ground.
"P-Ko!" Purple heart called out.
"Neptune, there's more coming!" Purple Sister alerted.
The purple candidate fired at the substance and disintegrated them, but more came. Purple Heart zipped around the air to avoid them and Purple Sister provided her backup. But while Purple Sister was busy trying to help her sister, she herself ended up getting bombarded by the black substance that hardened around her body.
"Nepgear!" Purple Heart watched as her younger sister dropped to the ground, unable to escape. Filled with anger, she glared up at Rei. "Blaze Break!" Purple Heart charged up at the goddess with her flaming sword.
Rei only smirked and swung her staff. Her left wing followed her motion and whipped out at Purple Heart. The purple goddess didn't expect the wing to expand and was knocked down to the ground. She tried to get up but found that she was locked in place by the black sludge.
Rei laughed as she slowly floated down. "Now I can easily kill you all one by one!"
Purple Heart gritted her teeth as all her friends were trapped by this mysterious substance that hardened into an unbreakable stone. "What is this!?"
"Hmph." Rei carried a smug smile until she noticed something. "Huh? One, two… Hold on, I'm missing one…"
"Looking for me?"
"What?!" Rei's eyes widened as she snapped her head back, but it was too late to do anything.
"Drive Stab!" Iris Heart appeared behind Rei and quickly slashed her blade against her back, causing her to cry out in pain. With her last slash, she then twisted her body and kicked Rei down to the ground. "Ahahahaha! You got some lovely cries."
Rei gritted her teeth as she pushed herself off the ground. She sat there in anger as her veins started to pop beneath her skin. "Why? Why are you interfering? Why won't you all understand?!"
Iris Heart floated down to the ground when she saw how Rei wasn't getting back up on her feet. "Oh? Have you run out of stamina already? I haven't satisfied myself yet."
Rei clawed at the dirt. "You all just want to humiliate me, don't you? You're all just like Black Heart and everyone else…"
Iris Heart couldn't hear Rei's mumble clearly. "Hmm? What did you say?"
"This world doesn't deserve us CPUs!"
The sky roared to life and lightning rained down. Iris Heart tried to fly away but felt her foot being tugged on. She looked down and saw that her right foot was encased in black stone. "What!" Lightning struck her and Iris Heart let out a painful scream.
"Plutia!" Noire called from her trapped position. She was stuck to a fallen-over building and tried to break out of her bindings.
Rei swung her swung and laughed, "Don't think I forgot about the rest of you!"
Lightning crashed against the rest of the trapped CPUs. Everyone cried out as their bodies were getting electrocuted. It was like the dark clouds had a mind of their own as the lightning continued to zap them without stopping.
"Make it… stooooooop!" Yellow Heart yelled out.
"I can't… Hold out!" Purple Sister's HDD was released as she now felt the full force of the lightning attack.
"Nepgear!" Purple Heart called out with concern as she felt herself losing her grip on her HDD.
Rei stood up to her feet and laughed. Hearing the screams of the other goddess made her feel all giddy inside. "Aaaah, finally. Burn to death."
Suddenly, a serrated whip wrapped around Rei's body. She grunted as the blade sank into her skin, making her bleed. Rei turned to Iris Heart to see her sword separated into many pieces. She was still getting electrocuted by the lightning, but she carried a grin on her face. Just how durable was she?!
"This tingles my insides a lot. Why don't you have a taste of it!" Iris Heart swung the hilt and the whip-like sword flung Rei into the air.
Rei yelped as she found herself being pulled above Iris Heart. From the direction she was headed, she was gonna end up in the lightning pillar that was striking down on the CPUs. Rei stopped the lightning as she pass through the air. The iris goddess pulled on her weapon and slammed Rei to the ground.
With a flick of her wrist, Iris Heart combined the smaller blades back together to form her serrated sword. Her dark-pink eyes glanced around at her friends to see smoke steaming from their bodies. Everyone was able to breathe again, but they could no longer hold your transformation as they returned to their base form like Nepegar. Iris Heart will have to take care of Rei fast.
The iris CPU looked down to her right foot and swung her sword to strike at the weird stone, but her sword bounced back leaving not a single scratch. Iris Heart clicked her tongue and stuck the ground around instead. She was able to free her foot, but the obsidian stone still clung to her. It was extra weight added to her, but it shouldn't slow her down.
"You bitch!" Rei roared as her wings flapped, sending black liquid at the standing goddess.
Iris Heart jumped into the air to avoid the attack. Rei was putting her all into striking the goddess down. She won't be made a fool ever again! Lightning flashed through the air as Iris Heart flew around.
Iris Heart clicked her tongue. "This is such a boring game of tag."
"Kyaa! Watch where you're hitting!" Noire flinched from a lightning bolt that struck near her.
This caught the iris CPU's attention. "Noire!"
Rei smirked at a great idea. "You think you're so mighty now?" Rei made her way over to Noire and pointed her staff at her face.
"Hey! Now, hold on a second! Isn't it shallow for you to use me as a hostage?" Noire reasoned.
"Yeah! Leave Noire out of this!" Neptune yelled. "I thought we were put out of commission so the author doesn't have to worry about so many characters in this fight! Don't bring us back in!"
"Shut up! Or I'll blast this girlie's face with no mercy!" Rei growled.
"Yeesh, alright!" Neptune zipped her mouth so she doesn't make things worse for Noire.
"Your partner is me! Leave Noire out of it!" Iris Heart dove down at high speed and tackled Rei away from the Lastation CPU.
"Plutia!" Noire tried to turn her head to see Iris Heart, but it proved futile from the position she was in.
Rei kicked Iris Heart off of her and swung her staff. "Mega Slash!"
"Fighting Viper!" Iris Heart countered with an attack of her own.
Rei chuckled as her weapon clashed against the CPU's. "Just a little threatening toward your friends and you lost your composure. You're just like Black Heart!"
Iris Heart grinned. "My, are you jealous?"
"Grrr!" Rei pushed on her weapon. Her wings fluttered and shot at the CPU.
Iris Heart had no choice but to disengage so as to not get impaled by the shapeshifting wing. Rei didn't pull away as she closed the distance, brandishing her staff. The goddess used her serrated sword as a shield to block all the attacks. She felt a little annoyed that she was on the defense.
"Mega Slash!"
"Hmph! Same old trick! Power Edge!" Iris Heart once again countered.
Rei abruptly pulled back causing Iris Heart's eyes to widen. "Gatcha!"
Iris Heart already swung her blade, she couldn't change her movement. Rei only needed this fluke and shifted her staff to Iris Heart's face. She shot out a ball of lightning from the end and blasted the other goddess back.
Iris Heart dug her heels and slid to a stop. Blood trickled down from the attack to her head. She held her head in pain as a low groan escaped her lips. That was a direct hit. She was lucky that it didn't blow her head off.
"You're just full of tricks, aren't you? That sure hurts!" Iris Heart widely grinned as her eyes only showed murder intent. "I'm gonna fuck you up so hard that you won't remember a thing!"
Iris Heart flicked her sword and it broke apart into a long whip. She swung the hilt around and the small blades flew toward Rei, ripping up the ground in the process.
The horned goddess couldn't deflect the whip as her body was shredded apart. She wrapped her black wings around her using them like protective armor, but the whip then wrapped around her. The blades cut into the black wings and Iris Heart flew into the air, dragging Rei with us. The Planeptune CPU swung her hilt and whipped Rei down to the ground. Her whip retracted and the serrated blade was formed again.
"For extra measures…" Iris Heart blew a kiss down with her fingers. "Muah!" Four pink lasers shot down toward where Rei struck the ground causing the ground to break. Iris Heart landed down and grinned seeing the dust clouds. "That should do it."
"Way to go, Plutie!" Neptune cheered.
"As expected of her," Blanc commented.
"Now, if you could be a dear and help us out of these bindings…" Vert kindly asked.
Iris Heart released her HDD and huffed. "Woooow! That took a lot out of me!"
"Is Rei really down?" Nepgear wondered outloud.
"I got her reeeeeeeal good," Plutia assured. "Hehe! That felt soooo amazing!"
"Stop standing around and help me out of this weird rock already," Noire grunted as she struggled to break free. "Just what is this?"
"Coming, coming!" Plutia happily wobbled her way over to the black goddess as the black rock was still stuck to her right foot. "Ummm…" Plutia remembered trying to break the black rock from herself, but it didn't crack. "Maaaaaaybe I should ask Histy…"
"Plutia, watch out!" Nepgear abruptly warned.
"Huh?" Plutia turned her head, she wasn't able to react as a sudden pain ripped through her chest.
Noire's eyes widened at the sight in front of her. "Plu… PLUTIA!"
Plutia glanced down at her body to see a sharp black spear poking out from her chest covered in blood. It was made from the same black rock that clung to her foot and trapped her friend. She shakingly lifted her hand toward the stone spear.
"Don't you know, dust clouds meant that your opponent was 100% still alive!" The dust blew away from the flap of her wings and Rei stood tall in the middle of the crater she created from the impact.
Blanc gasped, "No way! She's still standing!"
Rei laughed, "You're all a fool for thinking I've been done in just like that!"
"Plutie! Plutie!" Neptune called out, trying to see how her friend was.
Plutia, who still didn't process what happened to her, tried to speak. "Wha-!" When she opened her lips, she coughed out a mouthful of blood instead.
Noire was appalled by the sight of her best friend was in. "Plutia!"
Plutia glanced up with hazy eyes. "N-Noire…"
Rei slowly walked over to the iris goddess. "Honestly, I was worried I would be beaten. I can't deal with another humiliation by another goddess. I still have the other Black Heart to take care of." She stood behind Plutia and took hold of the black spear that was embedded in the CPU's body. "With such an injury like this, I doubt you will live long." With a harsh tug, Rei pulled the spear out of Plutia. "Die a painful death, you wretched CPU!"
The iris goddess jerked from the pull and then fell to the ground with a splat. Her entire dress was stained in blood as a pool quickly formed beneath her. Plutia could feel her own heart pounding, pushing the blood out of the giant hole in her back and chest. Her vision was starting to get blurry.
"Plutia! Get up, Plutia! Get up!" Noire screamed at the shorter girl.
"Noire…" Plutia gritted her teeth and tried to feel her share energy. With multiple tries, she was unable to enter her goddess mode. She can't just lie here, she has to get up. She's the only one that can fight. Plutia's fingers dug into the dirt and she pushed herself off the ground.
Rei's eyes were filled with shock. "You can still move?! What are you made of?"
Plutia threw up more blood as her body was being strained. Her body shook as the cold started to set in. "I… I can… still fight!"
"Forget it, Plutia! Just run! Just get up and run!" Noire begged. She was seeing so much blood coming out of Plutia. She was so scared that Plutia will just die in front of her. She doesn't want to see that. She doesn't want to see her die! If only she can break free! "Please, just run!"
"Pfft!" Rei scoffed. "Are you blind? Do you see the condition she's in? There's no way she can run! Hahahahaha! She'll die!"
"Shut up! Shut up!" Noire cried. Tear formed in her eyes at the thought of Plutia dying. This wasn't supposed to happen! They were all supposed to beat Rei and win! "Plutia isn't gonna die! She won't die!"
Rei rolled her eyes. "Don't be such a drama queen. I'll be sending you to the afterlife as well. I'll send you and everyone else here to death!"
"Who… said anything about dying!" Plutia slowly stood up on quivering legs. Her vision swirled as she could see black blotches in the corner of her eyes. "I'm… not running!"
Rei's jaw dropped. "She's standing… She's actually standing! Ahahaahahah! Oh, my goddess! You're a monster!"
Blood gushed out from her chest and lips, but Plutia stood in front of Noire. "I… I-I…" She was struggling to get the words out as her body slowly swayed from side to side. "Won't… let you hurt… my friends…"
Rei gritted her teeth. "Just fucking die already, you roach!" She twisted her body and kicked Plutia, crashing her into the wall beside Noire.
The black goddess felt blood splatter on the left side of her cheek as Plutia dropped to the ground with a large blood stain on the white wall. She groaned from the impact, but her body didn't give up yet. As long as she can move, she can fight!
Plutia used the wall as support to stand up. She heavily breathed as she leaned against the wall. She tried to face her opponent, but she couldn't feel her limbs anymore. Her body was finally no longer listening to her. Plutia can't move anymore. Is this really it? What will happen to everyone if she dies now?
"Plutia, j-just stop… You're bleeding so much. Please, just run," Noire pleaded as tears fell from her eyes.
Plutia glanced up at Noire who was crying. Her cheeks were stained with her blood and her eyes were puffy. The goddess has seen Noire cry many times, but she doesn't remember seeing Noire look so devastated before. Even so, Plutia can't help but think that she was beautiful. Ah, if only she can tell her how much she meant to her.
"I'm sorry, Noire."
"What are you sorry for?! If you're sorry then just run!" Noire shouted.
Plutia couldn't hear anymore. She found it weird that everything has gone silent, but she didn't care. All she cared about was seeing the black goddess in front of her. She already lost her peripheral vision and could see nothing but in front of her. If this really was her last moment, then she rather die with Noire being the last thing she sees.
"Run, you imbecile! Are you even listening to me?!" Noire shouted. "Just forget about us and save yourself!"
Plutia only smiled. She can't hear anything and she was sure that Noire was scolding her from the harsh look on her face.
Noire didn't know what else to say. How can Plutia smile like that? Has she lost it?!
"N-Noire…" Plutia can slightly feel her body sliding down against the wall. "I… I love you…"
Noire's eyes widened. Plutia must have really lost it. "Are you seriously saying that now?! How dumb are you?! Are these supposed to be your dying words or something?! I am so mad at you! What are you doing? Don't close your eyes on me! Plutia!"
Plutia could no longer keep her eyes open. She was so tired and wanted to sleep. Everything was so quiet around her that it felt like she could have a wonderful nap. Her body slumped to the ground as coldness surrounded her.
"Hey! Wake up, you idiot! You're not allowed to sleep! I'm not done scolding you!" Noire yelled and yelled at the unmoving goddess. Tears flowed from her eyes, but she couldn't stop herself. The pain in her heart hurt more than she ever thought. "You thought this was the best time to confess your love to me? Do you even know how that makes me feel, you dimwit?! Stop sleeping! Hey! Are you even listening? Plutia!"
Rei watched the scene before her with boredom. "Well, this is just sad. But in any case, she finally died! I finally killed a CPU! Ahahahahaha!"
"PLOOT!" Peashy cried. "Mommy, you bad!"
"Plutie, no!' Tears fell from Neptune's eyes from the sight.
Everyone else turned their head away. They couldn't take the sight of their dead friend.
"Ahahahahaha! I did it! I did it! Do you see this?! I killed a CPU!" Rei crackled as the sky roared with thunder.
Noire gritted her teeth as her teary eyes stayed on Plutia. The girl had a soft smile on her face like she was having a pleasant dream. Her chest twisted painfully from the sight. "I'm gonna kill her…"
Rei laughed as she glanced at her trapped prisoners. "Oh, don't look so sad. I'll let you see your friend again. In hell!"
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Noire screamed at the top of her lungs with all the hatred in her heart.
"Then I'll send you to hell next!" Rei pointed her staff at Noire and a ball of light formed, slowly growing bigger and bigger. "Say hello to your friend for me!" Rei blasted the large attack at the black goddess.
Neptune couldn't bare to see another friend die. "Noire!"
"Volcano Dive!"
The lightning ball stopped in its tracks before it can reach Noire. The impact caused the ball of light to explode with an eruption of fire, creating smoke.
Rei used her arm to cover her face from the strong winds that were created. "What!?"
When the smoke cleared away, Black Heart stood in all her glory. "I won't let you cause any more harm!"
Neptune happily cried out. "Noire!"
Rei grinned, "Black Heart! I was just about to look for you after killing everyone here!"
Black Heart held up her sword, but the cries of Ultra Noire caught her attention. "Noire, take Plutia to a hospital! Please! She… She needs help!"
"Plutia?" Black Heart didn't notice from the sky, but now that she was on ground level, she could see teh unmoving body near Ultra Noire. The girl was bleeding heavily and her complexion was pale. Black Heart lowered her weapon as her eyes were filled with shock. "Plutia!" She made her way over to the unconscious girl and noticed the large hole in her chest. "Oh, my goddess…"
"Stop being shocked and take her away!" Ultra Noire ordered. "She needs medical help!"
Black Heart checked her condition and furrowed her eyebrows. "She's still breathing…"
Ultra Noire blinked as relief filled her heart. "R-Really? You better not be lying to me!"
"She won't last long if nothing is done."
"Then hurry and bring her to a hospital!" Ultra Noire shouted.
Black Heart pulled out a glass bottle. "It's a good thing I didn't drink this yet" She gently lay Plutia on her back and took the cap off the bottle. She slowly poured the green liquid over the wound. "Come on, Plutia."
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Trying to heal her!" Black Heart answered as she saw the wound slowly starting to heal.
"You think I would let you do that?!"
Black Heart looked up to see the incoming staff. She quickly grabbed Plutia and activated her flight system. She leaped into the air as Rei smashed her staff into the ground where she was moments ago. Black Heart landed by Neptune and placed Plutia next to her.
"Noire! Is Plutie…" Neptune was scared to ask as she saw the pale complexion of Plutia's skin.
"She's still alive. Just barely. I gave her a healing potion and her wound looks to be healing, but I don't know if it will fully close," Black Heart explained.
Neptune beamed. "This old Neptune got a few more healing potions on her! I just need to…" She struggled against the obsidian rock, but could not break out.
"Let me try." Black Heart stood up and swung her blade at the stone, but her weapon bounce back, doing no damage. "What is this rock?!"
"Noire, behind you!" Neptune warned.
Black Heart reacted fast as she assumed she'd be ambushed again. She turned around multiple spears being thrown at her. She swung her sword and hurriedly deflected them all while making sure none of them hit Plutia or Neptune. Black Heart accidentally deflected one of the spears in the wrong direction and it struck Neptune.
"Nepuuuu!"
Black Heart felt her heart sink. "Neptune!" She looked over to her girlfriend to see that spear hit the stone bindings, breaking part of it.
Neptune was able to free her right arm and wave it around. "I'm alright! It looks like that stone spear was able to break this trap!" The shorter goddess tried to squeeze herself out from the opening, but it wasn't big enough. "Dang Nep it! I still can't get out."
Black Heart kicked another black spear toward Neptune where her hand could reach. "Try to break yourself free and heal Plutia. I have to keep Rei busy!"
Neptune happily took hold of the stone spear and voiced, "You got it! Leave everything to your neptastic girlfriend!"
Black Heart nodded and fully placed her attention on Rei as she can hear the smacking of stone behind her. "Alright, Rei, let's play! I'm not letting you off the hook for what you did to my friends!"
"Come at me, Black Heart! Let's finish what we started!" Rei flapped her wings again and instead of black liquid, it was black spears.
Black Heart deflected the spears and charged straight at her opponent. "Tornado Sword!" Her black blade glowed rainbow as she swung down.
Rei countered her attack with her staff, then she swung one of her wings at the black goddess. Black Heart saw the movement and backed away quickly only to be shot at with multiple balls of lightning. She held up her sword using the flat side like a shield. The collision caused the spheres of light to explode against her blade.
"Aagh!" Black Heart was flung back from the attack. She stabbed her sword to the ground stopping herself from sliding further back.
"What's wrong Black Heart?! Where's that strength you showed me before?" Rei mocked. "Come on! Show me Mode Uranus!"
Black Heart knew she won't be able to defeat Rei with the way she was now. There was no other choice. She had been warned, but who cares when her friends' lives were on the line? "You want Mode Uranus? Then you get it! Unleash!" Black Heart felt something snap in her chest and a flow of heat rushed through her veins. She gritted her teeth when her body started to sting. "Access!"
A purple magic circle formed above her head and it lowered, changing her white hair into a vibrant orange. The processor unit changed to the combo of black and purple and her sword shattered to reform itself into a large double-barreled rail gun. When the magic circle reached her feet and it shattered into small particles and flew to her back to form large purple wings.
Black Heart brandished her weapon and announced, "Planeptune's CPU, Black Heart: Mode Uranus!"
Neptune halted in her smashing when she saw Black Heart's form. "Nep-Whaaaaaa?! When did you become Planeptune's CPU?!"

So good news... LITOH is finally off of Hiatus! Yay! I am back in the mood to write fanfiction again! Especially for HDN, so I'm gonna finish this sequel!
