El woke up on the couch. The taste of Passion Fruit tea was still in her mouth and she curled under the blanket under her before inhaling the smell. Which made her sit up faster than a spring. Instead of her family, it smelled like Leos.

Panic ran through her veins, How long had she been out? Where are the boys?! Running through the lair to Leo's room where she left them she silently begged whatever forces controlled the universe that they were safe. Sliding to a stop outside the open door she saw Leo feeding Davy while the twins were playing on the floor and nearly dropped to her knees in relief.

"Aunt El! Aunt El!" The twins ran up to her, "Look!"

Both boys were holding action figures. Kneeling next to them, "Who are these guys?" She asked as she touched the helmet of one.

Timmy told her the names of his action figures first, followed by Charlie. Then Timmy added, "They're from Space Heroes."

Charlie tag teamed, "Can we watch it?" Before she could say anything, "Leo will show it to us if you say yes!"

Looking at the clock El got an idea. So she smiled, "If you eat all of your dinner then you can watch Space Heroes."

Even the planner Timmy asked, "How many?"

Trying not to laugh at his serious little face, "That depends on how long it is." Deciding to tease him a little bit she added, "And how many times you two complain." The twins stopped asking questions in order to debate who complained the most between them So El took the chance to sit next to Leo and ask, "What is Space Heroes?"

Leo was in heaven. Not only was he with El and the boys, but they were all watching Space Heroes amazed at this masterpiece. Even Davy seemed to be watching the beauty that was his favorite show of all time. This was definitely one of the best moments of his life.

They were on their second episode when Leo's phone buzzed pulling him out of this perfect moment. Looking at it his heart dropped a bit. Donnie's search for the Clan Symbol had led nowhere and Karai didn't have any answers for them either. It was something none of them had seen before.

Looking at the family next to him Leo didn't know how to tell them that he didn't know how to start to find the rest. The innocent faces of the children watching Captain Ryan lead his crew to their victory, Davy only in it for all the colors, and El's joy at still having them safe was not something that he wanted to ruin.

Putting down his phone Leo decided not to relay the message. They should have some time to relax before the mountain of stress came back to El's slender shoulders that had carried it for so long. And as the twins curled up on his lap and Davy fussed before settling in El's arms he still couldn't bring himself to say it. Halfway through the third episode he was the only one awake, with El's head on his shoulder and the weight of the children preventing him from standing up.

Looking at the doorway Leo saw Raph leaning against the side of it with his arms crossed. His brother's eye ridges were raised in the silent question, 'Have you told her?' Leo shook his head and Raph rolled his eyes before leaving the room. Looking down at the family leaning against him Leo knew that he would have to break their peace soon, but not tonight. No, this was a night that they were going to get well deserved rest no matter how many eyerolls Raph gave him.

Not even glancing towards the dojo Leo made sure the show was stopped about where El fell asleep and turned off the TV. He knew Space Heroes by heart, so he didn't need to finish the episode. Tonight he would watch over this little broken family that he had sworn to protect.
