Chapter Three

The Beat Alls

While Ami and the girls slept peacefully, four villains sat together in Mojo's observatory discussing a common issue. "We must do something before it becomes unstoppable." Mojo said in a stern tone as he slammed his fist on a large metal table.

"Genius idea pal, and what exactly are we supposed to do about this thing, ask it to leave?" A girl in a golden exo suit asked in a sarcastic tone.

"We just need to give it what it wants, the destruction of the sailor soldier." A red creature answered in a feminine tone.

"I'll just take it out with my boom stick, it was on my property!" A fuzzy pink creature shouted as it cocked a large rifle.

"That'll work great Fuzzy, you shoot it with your dumb little musket and in exchange it'll rip you apart on a molecular level!" Mojo shouted as he glared at the pink creature.

"Maybe he means we should shoot the girl, she is only human after all." The girl in gold suggested with a grin.

"She is no mere human, she went toe to toe with two of the puffs at once and held her own. Plus it would seem that she and the creature have history, she has almost beaten it on multiple occasions." Mojo explained as he thought about Sailor Mercury.

"Perhaps we should be aligning ourselves with the girl instead of trying to destroy her." The red one suggested as it looked at everyone.

"She wouldn't work with us, she's too attached to the puffs. I'm sure they've told her all about us and our many evil deeds." The gold one replied with a grumpy expression.

"That's it. Her biggest weakness, those sweet little puffs she's grown so fond of. If we can take them, then she'd be putty in our hands." The red creature said with a wicked grin.

"That's brilliant, but how should we capture them? The puffs are not so easily taken, especially not with how much time they spend with this woman." Mojo pointed out in a frustrated tone.

"That's easy, we just have to get to Buttercup. With her injuries she's practically a sitting duck just waiting to be snatched away from her mommy. We just need to isolate her and grab her." The gold one answered with a sinister grin.

"How are we supposed to do that, because again, this woman is always around the girls, even during school?" The red one asked as it stared at the golden one.

"Simple, she's a hero. With Buttercup's wounds she's not able to fight anything right now. So if one of us creates a distraction to lure this woman and the other two puffs away from Buttercup, we can then snatch her and make this woman bend to our desires. She wouldn't do anything if she thought it would endanger any of the puffs, nor would the other two as proven by that little stunt of Mojos." The gold one explained with an evil chuckle.

"Do you have a plan?" The red one asked with an evil smirk.

"I do, now here's the plan." The gold one said with a grin. While the villains discussed how they'd separate Buttercup from Ami and the others, the girls were all slumbering peacefully together until a light groaning awoke Ami.

"What's going on?" Ami mumbled as she opened her eyes a crack and peeked at each of the girls. 'It's Buttercup, her pills must've worn off. I should wake her and see if she needs another one.' Ami thought to herself as she gently patted Buttercup's shoulder. "Hey, are you okay Buttercup?" Ami whispered as she lightly patted Buttercup's shoulder a few more times.

"It hurts." Buttercup groaned as she tossed around a little bit.

"Come on sweetie, let's get you one of your pills." Ami quietly said as she carefully got out of bed, making sure not to wake Blossom or Bubbles.

"It hurts Ami mommy." Buttercup quietly cried as she held her arms out to Ami.

"I know, but we'll get you all taken care of and get you back to bed." Ami whispered as she carefully picked Buttercup up and carried her towards the door.

"Ami, Buttercup, what are you two doing up so late; it's almost one in the morning?" The professor asked as he walked by on his way to his bedroom.

"Buttercup's pills wore off and she's in pain, so I was gonna give her one real quick." Ami explained as she stared at the professor.

"Alright, just remember that she needs to have some food with it or it'll make her sick." The professor reminded with a small frown.

"I know, but thanks for reminding me." Ami thanked as she carefully carried Buttercup towards the steps. "Why don't we make you a classic late night snack." Ami said with a smile as she carried Buttercup down the steps and into the kitchen.

"Like what?" Buttercup groaned as she held a hand over her chest.

"A pbj sandwich with some warm milk. That'll help you get back to sleep faster once you're done." Ami answered with a smile as she grabbed Buttercup's pills off the counter and shook one into her hand. "Where does your dad keep the plates and glasses?" Ami asked as she got the jelly and peanut butter out.

"Cabinet next to the fridge." Buttercup answered as she clutched her chest.

"Got it." Ami replied as she grabbed a glass and a plate, then filled the glass with milk.

"Oooooh, it hurts." Buttercup groaned as she clutched her chest and fought back tears.

"I know baby, but just try and be strong for a little bit longer." Ami quietly said as she put Buttercup's milk in the microwave and heated it for about a minute. "Here, take your pill while I make your sandwich." Ami instructed as she gave Buttercup her milk and pill, then grabbed the bread from the bread keeper and some jelly from the fridge. "Where does your dad keep the peanut butter?" Ami asked as she set two slices of bread on the plate.

"Cabinet by the stove, the one on the bottom left." Buttercup answered as she took her pill with a sip of milk.

"Found it. Alright little lady, let's get you your sandwich so you can get back to bed and rest." Ami said with a smile as she formed a knife out of ice. "Don't wanna get dishes dirty if we don't have to." Ami giggled as she spread some peanut butter on one slice of bread and some jelly on the other. "Here you go sweetie." Ami said with a smile as she put the sandwich together, cut it in half, then set it in front of Buttercup.

"Thank you Ami." Buttercup thanked as she started eating her sandwich.

"That should kick in soon." Ami informed as she sat down across from Buttercup.

"Thank you, I really appreciate you taking care of me Ami. You're so nice to us, you really are the perfect mommy." Buttercup said with a smile as she took a sip of milk.

"You're the perfect kids." Ami quietly replied with a small smile.

"Thanks for that Ami mommy, it was just enough to fill me up without making me feel all sloshy and full." Buttercup thanked as she finished her milk.

"You're welcome, now back to bed. You need your rest to heal." Ami said with a smile as she wiped some jelly off of Buttercup's cheek, then picked her up and carried her to bed.

"I love you Ami mommy." Buttercup quietly said as she fell asleep in Ami's arms.

"I love you to Buttercup." Ami replied as she laid Buttercup down, then got back in the bed with her. "Goodnight girls, my sweet little puffs." Ami whispered as she fell back asleep. The rest of the night was quiet and everyone slept like rocks until early the next morning.

"Girls, time to get up for school!" The professor yelled from downstairs as he fried up some bacon and eggs.

"You heard him girls, let's get up and moving." Ami said with a smile as she got out of bed.

"But I'm so sleepy." Bubbles yawned as she slowly sat up.

"I know, but you don't wanna be late for school." Ami giggled as she sat Blossom and Buttercup up.

"We know." Blossom said with a yawn as she floated out of bed.

"Are you feeling better today Buttercup?" Bubbles asked as she slowly floated out of bed as well.

"A little, but I'm still pretty sore." Buttercup answered with a small yawn as she carefully got out of bed and walked towards her closet.

"I'll give you girls some privacy to get dressed. Oh and help your sister if she needs it please." Ami said with a smile as she walked towards the door.

"Yes Ami mommy." All three girls replied as they got their clothes out of the closet.

"I'll meet you all downstairs, and help Buttercup with the steps if she needs please." Ami informed as she left the room and closed the door behind her.

"Ami's the nicest mommy ever." Bubbles said in her usual squeaky tone as she started changing.

"She really is. I know how selfish it sounds when I say this but, I don't want her to leave. I want her to stay here with us forever." Blossom quietly said with a small frown.

"Me to Blossom, but that wouldn't be fair to Ami mommy, she has a family back home that she misses. Even when she leaves we'll still have the professor, but Ami doesn't have anyone in our universe except us. If we really love her we're gonna have to let her go eventually." Buttercup said with a sniffle as she got dressed.

"But, I don't wanna let her go. She's so special, she loves us and takes care of us just like other mommies take care of their kids. I want a mommy who does things like that." Bubbles quietly cried as she hugged her ice sculpture of Octi.

"Me to Bubbles, but Buttercup's right. It wouldn't be fair of us to keep Ami away from her own family just so we can have her here with us. I'm sure Ami's friends and family miss her as much we would miss the professor if he suddenly disappeared. We can't do that to her loved ones, that's not what heroes do, they help people. We need to help Ami get home so she can be with her family." Blossom quietly said with a sniffle.

"Blossom's right Bubbles, Ami deserves that after everything she's done for us. We owe her that much." Buttercup quietly cried as she finished getting dressed.

"Come on, let's go eat breakfast and get to school." Blossom quietly said as she floated towards the door.

"Okay." Buttercup and Bubbles replied as they followed her.

"You want a lift Buttercup?" Blossom asked as she landed next to Buttercup.

"Thanks Blossom." Buttercup said with a smile.

"Any time sis." Blossom replied as she picked Buttercup up and flew her down the steps.

"Morning girls." The professor greeted as they all entered the kitchen.

"Morning professor." They all replied with smiles as they sat down.

"How are you feeling this morning Buttercup?" The professor asked as he made five plates of scrambled eggs.

"A little better, but still kind of sore." Buttercup answered with a straight face.

"Do you want a pill?" The professor asked as he set a plate in front of each of them.

"No thank you, I'll wait till a little later if I can. Plus Ami gave me one already." Buttercup answered with a small smile.

"What time did you give her a pill Ami?" The professor asked as he sat down next to Blossom.

"A little after one this morning." Ami answered as she took a bite of her eggs.

"So she could take one now, but maybe we should wait another hour or so." The professor replied as he stared at Buttercup. "How bad does it hurt right now Buttercup?" The professor asked with a straight face.

"A little bit." Buttercup answered as she took a bite of her eggs.

"How much is a little bit?" The professor asked as he continued to stare at Buttercup.

"I don't know, a bit." Buttercup answered with a shrug.

"Try this professor. Buttercup, on a scale from one to ten how bad is the pain? One being virtually no pain at all and ten being the worst pain you've ever felt in your life." Ami asked with a smile.

"Maybe a three." Buttercup answered as she finished her breakfast.

"That's not too bad, we can wait a few more hours then. But if it starts to get really bad let me know." Ami instructed with a smile.

"Okay." Buttercup replied as she finished her milk and got up from the table.

"Alright girls, now you'll be going to school on your own today because I'm gonna go to Mojo's place to see if I can figure out what's up with that machine of his. Maybe I can fix it and get home soon." Ami informed with a smile.

"Okay." The girls all replied with smiles.

"Have a good day girls, I'll see you all later." Ami said as she walked towards the door.

"Bye Ami, see you after school!" Buttercup yelled as she watched Ami walk out the door. "We hope." Buttercup quietly said with a small frown as she looked down at the table.

"I don't want Ami mommy to go." Bubbles quietly cried.

"Me either, I want her to stay with us." Blossom cried as she looked at the professor.

"Oh girls." The professor said with a sad expression as he got up and hugged each of them. "I know how much Ami means to all of you, but she has a family that misses her. It's not right of us to try and keep her here, but I understand how you feel. I've grown quite fond of her as well." The professor quietly said with a small frown.

"I hope she comes back one day, we're gonna miss her so much." Buttercup cried as she clung to the professor.

"I'm sure you'll see her again one day girls, after all, she's your Ami mommy. Mommies never forget their children." The professor said with a smile as he stared at each of them.

"Ami's so smart that she never forgets anything." Blossom said with a smile as she looked back at the professor.

"Forgot my gear in the lab." Ami said with a giggle as she walked back into the house.

"Well, almost never." Blossom chuckled as she watched Ami go down to the lab.

"There we go. Alright girls, have a good day at school. I'll see you later tonight." Ami informed as she walked out the door again. "Now to get to Mojo's place and see what I can do about that machine." Ami said to herself as she started heading towards Mojo's observatory.

"It's time to get going girls, brush your teeth and then head off to school." The professor instructed with a smile.

"Yes professor!" All three of them replied with smiles as they all went upstairs to the bathroom to brush their teeth. "Ready for school Buttercup?" Blossom asked as she put some tooth paste on her toothbrush.

"Yep, I'm feeling pretty good today for the most part." Buttercup answered as she started brushing her teeth.

"That's good, but we should bring your pills and give them to Ms. Keen so you can take one with lunch if you need it." Blossom suggested as she quickly brushed her teeth.

"Thanks Blossom, that's a good idea." Buttercup replied as she rinsed her mouth out.

"I can't wait to see what we do today." Bubbles giggled as she dried her mouth with a towel.

"Probably something fun, Ms. Keen's such a fun teacher." Blossom answered with a smile as she started leaving the bathroom.

"Speaking of things that are fun, we have a match tonight remember." Buttercup informed as she walked out of the bathroom with Blossom.

"The professor grounded me from playing though." Bubbles said with a small frown.

"We should at least be there to support Buttercup and the rest of the team though." Blossom replied with a smile. "Actually, are you gonna be okay to play tonight Buttercup? You could get hurt, or more hurt I should say." Blossom pointed out with a small frown.

"I can't let Maylyn and the others down though, we're already gonna be down a teammate since Bubs can't play." Buttercup replied with a small frown.

"Just be careful tonight. We don't want you getting hurt anymore." Blossom quietly said with a small frown.

"Thanks for looking out for me Bloss, but I'll be okay." Buttercup said with a smile as she followed Blossom and Bubbles downstairs.

"You have a good day girls, and keep an eye on Buttercup please." The professor instructed with a smile as he watched them walk towards the door.

"Yes professor." Bubbles and Blossom replied with smiles.

"Have fun girls. Oh and Bubbles." The professor said as he stared at Bubbles, who turned around and looked at him. "Have fun at the game and kick butt for both you and your sister." The professor said with a smile as he looked at Bubbles.

"I thought I was grounded from derby though?" Bubbles asked with a confused expression.

"You were, but I thought about it and decided to change your punishment. It wouldn't be fair to Buttercup or the rest of your team if you had to forfeit that up coming tournament due to a lack of players. So instead you're just cut off from your electronics with the exception of the hotline. Understood?" The professor asked with a smile.

"Yes professor! Thank you thank you thank you!" Bubbles squealed with joy as she dashed up to the professor and hugged him.

"You're welcome, now get going or you'll be late." The professor instructed as he started the dishes.

"Yes professor!" All three puffs yelled as they dashed out the door. "He's right, we're running late again. Hold on Buttercup, I'm gonna give you a lift." Blossom informed as she carefully picked Buttercup up and flew her towards the school.

"Thanks Bloss." Buttercup thanked with a smile.

"Any time." Blossom replied as she soared towards school, followed closely by Bubbles. While the girls headed to school, Ami was just arriving at Mojo's observatory.

"Yeesh, this things shot to hell and a hacksaw. It's gonna take a while to reverse engineer it, I'd better look to see if there's a schematic lying around." Ami said to herself as she wandered around Mojo's observatory. "Here we go, a file cabinet. Let's see, anything under U for universe or universal anything?" Ami thought out loud as she flipped through rows of manilla folders for anything that might be useful. "Ah ha, universal transporter. Gotta admit, he may be evil but he's organized." Ami said to herself as she took the file out and laid it on a table. "Let's see, this might be a problem. This machine calls for a compact particle accelerator, where in the world does this guy get all this junk from?" Ami wondered out loud. "This is gonna take a while." Ami said with a small breath. While Ami muddled her way through Mojo's schematics, the girls were just arriving at school.

"Just in time." Blossom said with a smile as they landed just as a bell rang.

"Thanks for the ride Blossom." Buttercup thanked as Blossom gently set her down.

"You're welcome, now come on. We need to tell Ms. Keen about your pills." Blossom informed as she started walking in the door.

"What's that I hear, Buttercup brought pills to school? I knew she was bad but I didn't think she'd slipped that low in society." A snobby girl with puffy red hair said with an evil grin.

"It's not like that Morbucks!" Blossom snapped as she stared at the girl. She was the same height as the puffs, but she was wearing a yellow dress with a black stripe in the middle of it, as well as a pair of black gloves, black shoes, and a golden tiara with a red jewel in the center of it.

"Oh yeah Blossom, well we'll see what Ms. Keene says about it. Ms. Keene, Buttercup has pills!" Morebucks yelled as she ran into the school. "Ms. Keene! Ms. Keene! Buttercup brought pills to school!" Morebucks yelled as she ran up to Ms. Keene.

"What?! That's a very serious accusation Princess, what makes you say that? I haven't even seen Buttercup today." Ms. Keene replied as she stared down at Morebucks.

"Because Blossom said so." Morebucks replied with a smug grin.

"It's not what you think Ms. Keene! Buttercup needs these, the doctor gave them to her for her pain." Blossom clarified as she flew over to Ms. Keene and gave her the bottle.

"Her pain?" Ms. Keene asked as she looked over the bottle.

"Yeah Ms. Keene, Buttercup's all beat up and her bones are all broken apart." Bubbles explained with a small frown.

"What happened Buttercup, how long have you been hurting?" Ms. Keen asked with a sad expression as she kneeled down by Buttercup.

"A few days." Buttercup answered with a small frown.

"She's suppose to take them when it hurts based on the instructions on the bottle. Ami said to give her one if she starts hurting, but she's supposed to take them with food or she'll get sick." Blossom explained as she pointed out the instructions on the bottle.

"Alright, let me just call your father real quick and confirm all of this with him." Ms. Keene said as she walked over to the phone and called the professor.

"Hello." The professor said in a friendly tone as he answered the phone.

"Hello John, it's Ms. Keene." Ms. Keene informed in a kind tone.

"Hello Ms. Keene, I'm gonna guess that you're calling about Buttercup's meds. I was just thinking about that, I should've put a note on them." The professor explained before Ms. Keene could even ask.

"So you know then?" Ms. Keene asked in a relieved tone.

"Yes. She had one at one o'clock in the morning, so you can give her one at any point that she may need it. Just make a note of the time please so I know when it's okay to give her another one if she needs it." The professor instructed in a kind tone.

"I'll write a note and put the bottle in my desk drawer with the lock on it. Thanks for letting me know Mr. Utonium." Ms. Keene thanked as she wrote a note on a sticky tab and stuck it to the bottle, then opened a drawer in her desk and put the bottle in it. "Alright, I put a note on it and locked it in a drawer in my desk." Ms. Keene informed as she closed the drawer and locked it.

"Thank you Ms. Keene, please call me if Buttercup's in a lot of pain at any point today." The professor instructed as he started doing some house work.

"Sure thing professor, take care." Ms Keene replied as she prepared to hang up the phone.

"You to Ms. Keene. Goodbye." The professor said as he hung up the phone.

"Alright class, take your seats, it's time to start the day." Ms. Keene instructed with a smile as she started writing notes on the board.

"Yes Ms. Keene!" All the children answered with smiles as they did as they were told.

"Ms. Keene!" Robin yelled as she held her hand up.

"Yes Robin?" Ms. Keen asked as she turned around and looked at Robin.

"Aren't we gonna wait for Ami?" Robin asked with a small frown.

"Sorry Robin, but Ami's busy working on something right now and won't be coming today." Blossom informed with a smile.

"Oh." Robin replied with a small pout.

"What a shame that your mommy won't be here to hold your hands through class!" Princess yelled with a smug laugh.

"Well she'll be at home tonight waiting for us though, so that's okay." Bubbles replied with a smile.

"You know that she doesn't really care about you three right? She's just using you for free housing until she can finally leave you obnoxious puffs!" Princess yelled with an evil laugh.

"That's not true at all! Ami mommy loves us, she'd never do anything as evil as that!" Buttercup shouted as she glared at Princess.

"No one could love you three freaks, especially not some rando from another universe! She probably goes to sleep every night completely disgusted by..." Princess started saying until a flash of blue slammed into her.

"BUBBLES!" Everyone shouted in shock as Bubbles drove a fist into Princess's face.

"You stop saying mean things about our Ami mommy! She loves us, she loves us lots! You're a big meanie, you stop saying things about our Ami mommy right now!" Bubbles squealed as she punched Princess several times.

"Stop it Bubbles! This is exactly what Princess wants, she wants to make us bad kids! Stop it Bubbles!" Blossom yelled as she zoomed over to Bubbles and pulled her off of Princess.

"I'm surprised Buttercup didn't snap first." Ms. Keene quietly said as she stared at Bubbles.

"I wanna get her, but I don't have the strength right now." Buttercup grumbled as she glared at Princess.

"That stinks for you Buttercup, because weeee have all the strength in the world." A feminine voice called out as red smoke suddenly appeared next to Buttercup.

"Him!" Buttercup yelled as she went to punch Him, only to be grabbed by an ugly red claw.

"Buttercup!" Bubbles and Blossom shouted as they started charging at Him.

"Not so fast punny puffs!" Mojo shouted as he crashed through the window and pointed a ray gun at Buttercup's head. "Do exactly as I say or your sister gets disintegrated." Mojo ordered as he powered his ray gun up, causing an orb of purpleish pink energy to begin swirling around at the end of the barrel.

"Wait Mojo! You've got us, just don't hurt Buttercup anymore. We'll do whatever you want." Blossom quietly said as she stood down.

"Good, now get in that cage." Mojo ordered as he pointed at a fuzzy pink creature that was holding a large metal cage.

"Fine." Blossom grumbled as she and Bubbles floated over to the cage and sat down in it.

"Good, now each of you put an arm through one of the bars." Mojo ordered as he continued to point the ray gun at Buttercup's head. The girls silently obeyed and put their arms through the bars.

"Ouch!" Blossom yelped as Him jammed a needle into her arm.

"Owie!" Bubbles squealed as Princess did the same thing to her.

"That's anti chemical x, you won't be busting out anytime soon." Mojo said with a sinister grin as he jammed a needle into Buttercup's arm, then threw her in the cage.

"What do you want from us?!" Blossom yelled as she stared at the group through the bars.

"We want your new friend to do something for us, and there's no way she'd say no with the lives of her precious little puffs on the line." Princess said with a smug smirk.

"What do you want with our Ami mommy?!" Bubbles yelled as she glared at Princess.

"We want her to destroy something for us, but we knew she'd never agree to help us unless we gave her the proper motivation to do so. Hence your capture." Him answered with an evil chuckle.

"Fuzzy, grab the cage. We're leaving." Mojo ordered as he looked at the fuzzy pink creature.

"Ya got it! Yous girls is coming with us!" Fuzzy said as he picked up the cage and started leaving.

"As for you lady, call anyone other than this Ami person and the puffs will be pumped full of anti chemical x, and I think you know what will happen if we do that." Mojo said with a grin as he stared at Ms. Keene.

"I understand. I'll find a way to contact her immediately." Ms. Keene quietly said as she stared at the girls. "It's gonna be okay girls, just be brave and I'll get in touch with Ami." Ms. Keene quietly said in a reassuring tone.

"Yes Ms. Keene." Blossom replied with a sniffle.

"Let's go. Remember lady, no one but Ami is to know or else they get it." Mojo instructed as he lead everyone out of the school.

"What are they gonna do to the Powerpuff Girls Ms. Keene?" Robin asked with a small frown.

"Nothing if I have anything to say about it." Ms. Keene replied as she picked up the puff's hotline.

"Ms. Bellum! That beeping sound's back!" The mayor yelled as he looked at Ms. Bellum.

"No Mr. Mayor, that's the phone." Ms. Bellum clarified in a flat tone.

"What phone?" The mayor asked with a confused expression.

"The hotline Mr. Mayor." Ms. Bellum answered with a sigh.

"Oh that one! Could you get that please?" The mayor asked as he munched on a pickle.

"Yes Mr. Mayor." Ms. Bellum answered as she picked up the phone. "Yes?" Ms. Bellum asked in a friendly tone.

"Ms. Bellum, it's Ms. Keene! Something terrible's happened, Mojo and a bunch of villains came to the school and took the girls! They injected the girls with anti chemical x and they're powerless. They want Ami or the they're gonna hurt the girls!" Ms. Keene shouted into the phone in a panic.

"Where is Ami?" Ms. Bellum asked in a worried tone.

"I don't know, the girls said that she was busy working on something and that she wouldn't be coming to class with them today! They never mentioned where she was or what she was doing though!" Ms. Keene answered in the same panicked and flustered tone.

"I'll call John and ask if he knows anything about Ami's whereabouts. Don't worry Ms. Keene, we'll get the girls back." Ms. Bellum replied as she hung up the phone, then speed dialed the professor.

"Hello?" The professor said in his usual friendly tone.

"John, it's Sarah, do you know where Ami is?" Ms. Bellum asked in a somewhat calm tone.

"Yeah, she went to Mojo's lair to try and fix his universal transporter. Why, is something wrong?" The professor asked in the same friendly tone.

"Um..." Ms. Bellum started saying, until the mayor interjected.

"Nope, nothing at all. I just can't get the darn ice machine to work and I thought maybe she could make me a few ice cubes for my ice tea!" The mayor lied in a happy tone.

"Oh, well I'm sure you could ask her. But she's probably busy trying to rebuild Mojo's machine." The professor replied in a surprised tone.

"Oh that's too bad, because ice tea isn't really ice tea without ice cubes." The mayor said with a smile. "Oh well, thank you professor." The mayor thanked in the same friendly tone.

"You're welcome Mr. Mayor." The professor replied as he hung up the phone.

"That was brilliant Mr. Mayor, well done." Ms. Bellum complimented as she put the phone down.

"I may not always be the sharpest tool in the shed Ms. Bellum, but I'd do anything for those girls, and I know the professor would be worried if we told him the truth. Though I do feel a little guilty about lying to him." The mayor said with a small frown. "Oh well, it was for the good of the girls. Now come on, let's go find Ami." The mayor ordered as he started leaving his office.

"Yes Mr. Mayor." Ms. Bellum replied as she ran out of the office with the mayor. While Ms. Bellum and the mayor headed to the car, Ami was walking down the sidewalk in the middle of Townsville.

"Alright, I need to find a hardware store that sells titanium screws. They'd probably hold up better against the sheer power of the machine than a standard house screw would." Ami talked to herself as she wandered through Townsville. "Excuse me." Ami said with a smile as she walked past a police officer.

"Morning ma'am, how can I help you?" The officer asked as he looked at Ami.

"Sorry to bother you, but I'm new to town and need some directions if you have the time." Ami informed in a friendly tone.

"Sure, what are you looking for?" The officer asked with a smile.

"A hardware store please." Ami answered in a polite tone.

"You're not too far off, just hang a right around the corner and walk about three blocks. Mr. Hands handy shop is just at the end of that third block." The officer informed with a smile.

"Thank you sir." Ami thanked as she started walking towards the store. "This is such a lovely town, kind of reminds me of Sarah's home town but bigger. I'm gonna miss this place, but there's nothing I'll miss more than those sweet little girls. How am I gonna tell them that I'm leaving, they're gonna be devastated. But I can't stay forever, me being here could throw off the balance of the space time continuum. I'm not meant to exist in their world." Ami quietly said to herself with a sniffle as she walked into the store.

"Good morning young lady, how can I help you today?" A woman behind a counter asked in a kind tone as Ami walked through the door.

"I need titanium screws please if you have them." Ami informed with a smile.

"You know what size?" The woman asked as she typed on a computer.

"Fourteen millimeters." Ami answered with a smile.

"By one point five or two point O?" The woman asked as she stared at her computer.

"Two point zero." Ami quickly answered.

"Isle thirteen section four." The woman informed as she pointed towards an isle.

"Thank you." Ami thanked as she walked down the isle. "Here we go, just what I needed. I'll grab a big pack just in case something unexpected comes up and I need extra ones." Ami said to herself as she walked back over to the counter and handed the screws to the woman.

"That all?" The woman asked as she scanned the pack and put them in a small bag.

"Yes ma'am." Ami answered as she pulled her wallet out.

"Alright, that'll be six eighty-five." The woman informed as she pushed a few buttons on her register.

"Uh oh. Dumb question, but will you take yen?" Ami asked with an embarrassed blush.

"Normally we only take American bills, but I've always wanted to see Japanese yen. Tell you what, you give me their value in yen and I'll cover the cost in American currency. Deal?" The woman asked with a smile.

"Would you really do that for me?" Ami asked with a smile.

"Sure, like I said, I've always wanted to see yen in person." The woman answered with a smile.

"Thank you ma'am." Ami thanked as she gave the woman seven yen. "You can keep the extra since you obviously can't make change from it." Ami giggled with a smile.

"Here, now you have fifteen American cents." The woman said with a smile as she handed Ami a dime and a nickel.

"Thank you. Have a good day." Ami thanked as she grabbed her screws and left.

"Mr. Mayor, look!" Ms. Bellum yelled as she drove through the area Ami happened to be in.

"Quick Ms. Bellum, pull over!" The mayor yelled as he rolled down the window. "Ami! Ami!" The mayor yelled as he waved his arms out the window.

"Hello Mr. Mayor." Ami greeted with a smile as she walked over to the limo.

"Get in the car Ami, there's not much time!" The mayor yelled as he whipped the door open.

"For what sir?" Ami asked in a confused tone as she stared at the mayor.

"They took the girls! They came and snatched them right out of their chairs!" Ms. Bellum yelled as she looked back at Ami.

"WHO?!" Ami shouted as she stared at Ms. Bellum.

"The beat alls, that's what they call themselves! It's a team up of Mojo, Him, Fluffy, and Princess. They injected the girls with anti chemical x and took them hostage!" Ms. Bellum yelled with fear.

"Where's the closest sporting store?!" Ami asked as she pulled the magazines out of her guns.

"Why?!" Ms. Bellum asked in a confused tone.

"Because I need bullets, real bullets." Ami growled as she unloaded the blanks from her guns.

"What are you gonna do Ami?" Ms. Bellum asked as she stared at Ami.

"Whatever the hell I need to in order to get my babies back." Ami answered with a rageful expression.

"You heard her Ms. Bellum, drive to the gun store on northwood. If they don't have what Ami needs then no one does." The mayor instructed as he looked at Ms. Bellum.

"Right away Mr. Mayor." Ms. Bellum replied as she started driving.

"Hold on girls, Ami mommy's coming." Ami said in a stern tone as she stared ahead of her. While Ami went to get bullets for her guns, the beat alls were arriving at Mojo's observatory.

"Someone's been here recently, must've been her. She was working on my machine." Mojo grumbled as he lead everyone inside.

"Let us go Mojo!" Blossom yelled as she tugged on the bars of the cage.

"Not on your life punny puff. Fuzzy, put them in the box." Mojo ordered as he pointed at a medium sized clear box.

"You've got it!" Fuzzy yelled as he dumped the girls in the box and sealed it.

"Why are you doing this?! What did we do, is this because of the tooth thing?! I'm sorry, you can do whatever you want with me, just let Blossom and Bubbles go!" Buttercup yelled as she pounded on the glass.

"This has nothing to do with that, this has to do with your new friend." Mojo answered as he glared at Buttercup.

"What did Ami ever do to any of you?! What do you want with her?!" Blossom yelled with tears in her eyes.

"You pint sized brats misunderstand, it's not about what Ami did to them." A dark echoey voice called out from the shadows.

"Who's there?!" Blossom yelled as she looked around.

"I am the one who controls these pathetic excuses for villains in your miserable world." The voice answered in the same dark and echoey tone.

"Show yourself coward!" Buttercup shouted as she looked around.

"Very well." The voice answered as a shadow suddenly appeared in front of the box.

"What are you?!" Blossom yelled as she glared at the shadow.

"I'm the one who broke your Ami mommy, I'm the ultimate evil. The destroyer of all that is good, the annihilator of innocents, I am Reaper!" The creature yelled as it took it's pure form, manifesting a scythe of dark matter in its bony wrinkled hands. The creature floated in front of the box, staring at the girls. It's eyes glowed red like blood, it wore a ragged torn cloak with a hood that was made entirely of some kind of space black material, and it had no legs.

"What do you mean broke Ami mommy?! Nothing breaks her!" Bubbles yelled as she stared at Reaper.

"Oh yes, I broke her over and over again. Her bones, her mind, her spirit. I destroyed them all, and she never truly recovered from it. It fills my blackened heart with such joy to know how much she's still suffering. I can't wait to see the look on her face when I kill you three right in front of her." Reaper said with a wicked grin as he stared into the box.

"Kill them? That was not part of the deal Reaper, you said that you wanted the girl with the ice magic and in exchange you'd leave our world and its inhabitants alone! We will not stand for such treachery!" Mojo yelled as he pointed at Reaper.

"What exactly do you plan to do about it you filthy ape?" Reaper asked with a wicked grin as he stared at Mojo.

"This is our world, and we won't let you terrorize it anymore. Reaper!" Him said in a feminine tone, switching to a darker more masculine tone in the end.

"Don't ya be hurting them puffs er I'ma shove my boom stick up yer rear!" Fuzzy yelled as he held his shotgun up.

"I'm not a fan of the puffs either, but you can't just kill them you monster. We won't let you." Princess said as she activated a jet pack and floated above Mojo.

"Enough!" Reaper shouted as he flung his arm in a swiping motion, causing everyone to get knocked back by an invisible force.

"He is too powerful to stop, even if we all team up." Mojo quietly said as he slowly sat up.

"So we just let him do what he wants?" Princess asked with a small frown.

"It would appear so, this creature holds all the cards right now. We are powerless." Mojo quietly answered as he hung his head in defeat.

"You finally understand, now you will do what I say or you'll all be next to die." Reaper ordered as he held a ball of dark matter up to Mojo's face.

"Yes, master." Mojo replied in defeat as he and the rest of the beat alls bowed their heads to Reaper.

"I want you to drain these three pathetic creatures of all their chemical x, drain every last drop from their puny bodies!" Reaper ordered as he pointed at the puffs.

"Please don't do it Mojo! Don't let it kills us!" Bubbles cried as she pounded on the glass.

"We don't have a choice, it's you three or this whole world. We're sorry girls." Mojo quietly said as he pushed a button and dowsed them with another cloud of anti chemical x.

"S-stop!" Blossom choked out as the gas filled her lungs and zapped her of her strength.

"I want my daddy!" Bubbles yelled as she started gasping for air.

"A-Ami mom-my, help...us." Buttercup choked out as all three of them passed out.

"Ah, the sweet sound of suffering children, it's like music to my ears." Reaper said with an evil chuckle.

"The deed is done, they're unconscious and can now be drained of their chemical x." Mojo quietly said as he opened the box.

"Excellent, Sailor Mercury will never heal from this." Reaper said with a sadistic smile as he stared at the three Powerpuffs. As Reaper reveled in the puffs pain and agony, Ami was just leaving the gun store.

"Locked and loaded, now punch it Ms. Bellum, the girls need their Ami mommy." Ami ordered as she slapped a full magazine into her gun and chambered a bullet.

"What are you gonna do with those things Ami?" Ms. Bellum asked as she started driving.

"Whatever I need to do to save my girls, I will kill anyone or anything that stands between them and I. If it comes down to it though, I will give anything to make sure those girls are safe." Ami quietly said as she placed her right fist over her heart. "My heart and soul to the cause." Ami quietly said as Ms. Bellum pulled up to the observatory. "You two get out of here, I don't wanna risk putting anyone else in danger." Ami ordered as she pulled out her wand. "Mercury crystal power, make up." Ami quietly said as she quickly took her guardian form.

"Good luck Ami." Ms. Bellum quietly said as she stared at Mercury.

"I don't need luck, I have the ultimate motivation. A mother's drive to protect her children." Mercury said in a cold tone as she fired her line and pulled herself to the top of the observatory. "You animals are gonna die for this." Mercury quietly said as she landed on the ledge by the telescope and stared down at everyone.

"Drain it, drain every last drop from their puny corpses!" Reaper ordered as he stared at the girls, who'd been strapped down to cold metal tables.

"Yes sir." Mojo quietly said as he stuck a needle into each of the girls arms, then started draining them of their chemical x.

"Why Mojo. Why are you...doing this?" Blossom asked with a shallow breath.

"I don't have a choice, it's you or this world. There is no other way, I'm sorry girls." Mojo said with a few tears as he watched the chemical x drain from the puffs and slowly slither through the tubes into a large beaker.

"But we...gave you...the recipe to...make it. I don't...understand." Blossom quietly said as her breathing began to shallow even more.

"This is not about the chemical x, this is about her. With the death of you three worthless creatures, Sailor Mercury will break like a twig. She'll be easy pray, broken and separated from her friends. I will kill her slowly, painfully, but not before breaking her spirit. Your deaths will certainly be enough to do that." Reaper said with an evil laugh.

"It can't be." Mercury whispered as she stared down at Reaper. "He really is alive, but he won't be for long." Mercury said through gritted teeth as she prepared to ambush Reaper.

"Finish them you worthless ape! Do it or die!" Reaper shouted as he held his scythe up to Mojo's neck.

"No." Mojo replied as he turned the machine off.

"WHAT?!" Reaper shouted as he pressed his scythe against Mojo's neck.

"Kill me if you wish, but I will not take part in this anymore! Mojo is a villain with principles, not a terrorist who slaughters the innocent for no reason! Go ahead and kill me, but I will not do your biding anymore you fowl creature!" Mojo shouted as he looked Reaper directly in his eyes. "Get the girls out of here, I will hold him back." Mojo ordered as he looked back at the rest of the beat alls.

"I will fight with you Mojo, and together we will crush him!" Him said in his feminine voice, switching to his dark masculine one when he said crush him.

"Fuzzy ain't gonna stand by and let yas fight alone, come get a taste of my boom stick ya ugly blob!" Fuzzy yelled as he pointed his gun at Reaper.

"Princess, you need to get the girls out of here! Hurry, grab them and run!" Mojo ordered as he prepared to fight.

"On it!" Princess yelled as she unstrapped the girls from the table and picked Blossom up.

"P-Princess?" Blossom quietly said as her eyes fluttered open.

"Hold on Blossom, we're getting out of here." Princess informed as she activated her jet pack and flew towards the roof. "Who's that?!" Princess yelled as she stared down at Mercury.

"Ami mommy." Blossom quietly answered with a smile.

"Get Blossom out of here, I'll deal with Reaper!" Mercury shouted as she jumped through the roof, slowing her fall with a few short bursts of gas. "REAPER!" Mercury screamed as she held her guns up.

"Sailor Mercury, it's been some...AH!" Reaper shouted as Mercury started unloading bullets into him.

"You're not escaping this time! You hurt my girls, this ends now Reaper! You and I, I'm gonna kill you right here and now, you're gonna die here today Reaper! Once and for all, I will slaughter you and cast you into the deepest bowels of hell and watch you burn!" Mercury screamed as she emptied both her guns into Reaper, then forged two swords like the ones she used against the titans out of ice.

"You've changed Sailor Mercury. What's the matter, didn't enjoy your little trip in the multiverse?" Reaper asked with a grin as he spit some black sludge out.

"No, but I learned a lot. Like how to kill without mercy!" Mercury screamed as she drove her sword into the left side of Reaper's neck, then sliced diagonally all the way down to his hip. "This is it for you, your terror stops now! For my universe, for the multiverse, and most of all, for my little puffs! I smite thee and cast thee into the deepest bowels of hell!" Mercury screamed as she proceeded to carve reaper up like a Christmas ham.

"Wh-who...are you?" Reaper choked out as chunks of him fell to the ground and he began to loose his form.

"I am the pretty guardian who fights for love and intelligence, I am Sailor Mercury! Now dowse yourself in water, and drown!" Mercury screamed as she held her arms above her head, then thrust them downwards, showering Reaper in a barrage of high velocity icicles.

"AAAAAH! How can this be, how did you get so stroooooong?!" Reaper screamed as he was ripped apart by the barrage and practically liquified.

"Because I became a mother." Mercury answered as she froze Reaper's liquefied body solid, then picked it up. "Now to make sure you never return, I'm casting you into the depths of this volcano." Mercury said through gritted teeth as she looked at Mojo.

"How did you know my observatory was built on top of a dormant volcano?" Mojo asked in a surprised tone.

"Because I study my geography and know what a volcano looks like. While ascending it I noticed that there were a lot of parts that looked like something had once flowed down it, like water or lava. That combined with the cone form it has was enough for me to deduce what this thing is or was. Now Reaper will burn in the bowls of this volcano, an appetizer to what will await him in hell." Mercury answered as she left through the hole she'd entered through, then used her ODM gear to rappel to the base of the observatory. "Have fun in hell Reaper, and may you never return." Mercury said with an angry expression as she cast what remained of Reaper into the lava, watching as it caught fire and slowly sank beneath the gloopy orange depths. "Girls." Mercury quietly said as she fired a line and raced to the base of the volcano. "Girls!" Mercury shouted as she ran over to Ms. Bellum's car.

"Ami, thank goodness." Ms. Bellum quietly cried as she looked at Ami.

"Are they..." Mercury quietly asked, not even wanting to finish her sentence.

"We were too late." Ms. Bellum quietly cried as she cradled the girls in her arms.

"Blossom. Bubbles. Buttercup." Mercury quietly cried as she dropped to her knees.

"Oh Ms. Bellum, how could this be?!" The mayor cried as he stared at the Powerpuff's motionless figures.

"What's all the commotion about? The creature is gone now." Him asked as he appeared next to Mercury.

"They're gone Him. The puffs are gone." Princess quietly said with a few tears.

"No they ain't, they's right there." Fuzzy pointed out as he and Mojo ran over to the car.

"That's not what we mean you stupid pink moron!" Princess shouted as she glared at Fuzzy.

"Ya means they's gone down fer the ol' dirt nap?" Fuzzy asked with some tears.

"Yes." Mojo cried as he stared at the puffs.

"Ain't there something we can do?" Fuzzy quietly asked with a few tears.

"Yeah, put an x in the dirt so we know where to dig their graves." Mojo quietly answered with a sniffle.

"X. X! That's it, Mojo you brilliant ape! That's the answer, we can still save them!" Mercury shouted as she grabbed the girls from Ms. Bellum and launched herself back into Mojo's observatory.

"I don't get it." Mojo quietly said as he watched Mercury enter his observatory.

"Chemical X! Chemical X! There!" Mercury shouted as she gently laid all three puffs on the same table they were originally strapped to, then ran over to Mojo's chemical x supply. "This stuff is powerful, it's what gave them their super powers. If I can give them a high enough dose then hopefully it will cause a reaction similar to what a shot of epinephrine would cause in a normal person. Hang in there girls, Ami mommy's not giving up on you three." Mercury talked to herself as she grabbed a syringe off a cart and filled it with chemical x. "Let me think, they weigh about sixty pounds each which converted to kilograms is just under thirty which means they'd each need a dose of one third of a microgram of epinephrine or in this case chemical x. Alright, here goes nothing." Mercury said as she stuck a needle into Blossom's arm and injected the proper dose of chemical x, then she repeated the process with Bubbles and Buttercup. "Come on girls, stay with me." Ami quietly said as she did a few chest compressions on each of them, acting as artificial heartbeats to help push the chemical x through their bodies. "Please, wake up." Mercury quietly said as she stared at the girls. After a few seconds all three puffs awoke with a loud gasp. "Girls! Oh thank god you're okay! My sweet little puffs!" Mercury cried as she hugged all three of them.

"Wha-what happened?" Blossom quietly asked as she stared at Mercury through exhausted eyes.

"That doesn't matter right now, all that matters is that you girls are safe. Come on, we need to get you three to a hospital to be examined." Mercury said with a smile as she held the girls close and jumped out the window, slowing her fall with quick bursts of gas from her rig.

"My chest hurts even more now." Buttercup cried as she wrapped her arms around her chest.

"Mine to." Blossom groaned as she did the same thing.

"So does mine, why does it hurt Ami mommy?" Bubbles asked with a few tears as she looked into Mercury's eyes.

"I'm sorry girls, that's my fault. I had to push down on your chests a bunch of times to keep you all alive." Mercury answered with a small frown as she ran the girls over to Ms. Bellum.

"Ami! Are they okay, did whatever you were thinking work?" Ms Bellum asked in a worried tone as she stared at Mercury.

"Yes, the combination of chest compressions and a properly sized dose of chemical x did the trick. They're injured but alive." Mercury answered as she gently laid all three puffs on the ground. "Thanks Mojo, I don't know if I would've thought about that in time if it hadn't been for your little comment about putting an x in the dirt." Mercury thanked as she looked at Mojo and the others.

"Does this mean that you're not mad at us for what we did?" Mojo asked with a small smile.

"Oh no, mad doesn't begin to describe how I feel! If you think getting your teeth knocked out by a kindergarten is bad, you are gonna be petrified to find out what I'm gonna do to all of you!" Mercury screamed as she took a step towards the beat alls, freezing the ground in front of her as she did.

"Pleeeeease! Spare our unworthy souls great and powerful Sailor Mercury! We'll do anything you ask, just don't kill us!" Mojo shouted with tears as he dropped to his knees with his hands clasped together.

"Why should I?! You and your group broke into a school, kidnapped three kindergartners, and handed them over to a terrorist who gassed them with poison! Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you all right now!" Mercury shouted as she glared at the beat alls.

"Because that's not who you are Ami, you're a hero who does the right thing. Even if it's not always easy to do." Ms. Bellum said with a small smile. Mercury let out a light sigh and the ice slowly vanished from the ground in front of her.

"You're right Ms. Bellum, I can't kill them. Especially not in front of the girls. I need to set a good example of what real heroes do. Fine, I'll let you all live, but I have demands." Mercury said with an angry expression as she stared at the beat alls.

"Name it and it's yours." Mojo replied as he and the beat alls stared back at Mercury .

"First, you will reconstruct your universal transporter, second, you will apologize to the girls and cover any medical bills they rack up while being treated, and lastly, you will repay your debts to society through whatever means the city sees fit. If you refuse any of these conditions then we can always go with option two." Mercury instructed as she held up one of her guns.

"NO! No, option one is good, we'll gladly do all those things and more if necessary! Thank you for sparing us, we are not worthy." Mojo thanked as he bowed his head to Mercury.

"Damn right you're not." Mercury mumbled as she let down her transformation and walked over by the girls.

"It hurts Ami mommy." Blossom cried as she stared at Ami.

"I know girls, we'll get you to the hospital." Ami quietly said as she kneeled down by the girls.

"Are you gonna call a wee woo wee woo car?" Bubbles asked with a sniffle as she stared at Ami.

"Yes, we'll call an ambulance for you girls. We need to be really careful because I don't know a lot about your anatomy. Based on Buttercup's x-rays I'd guess that you have a similar anatomy to other kids your age, but it's better to be safe than sorry." Ami answered with a smile as she looked at Ms. Bellum.

"I'll call one now." Ms. Bellum informed as she pulled her phone out and dialed 911.

"Are you calling 911?" Blossom groaned as she rolled her eyes back to look at Ms. Bellum.

"Yes, very good Blossom. I'm surprised that you know that number. A lot of kids your age probably wouldn't remember that." Ms. Bellum answered as the dispatcher picked up.

"How'd you girls know that number so well?" Ami asked with a smile.

"The professor's dumb little song, it was one of the first things he taught us." Buttercup answered with a small breath.

"That was smart of him." Ami said with a smile as she put a hand on Buttercup's forehead.

"Do you wanna hear it Ami mommy?" Bubbles asked with a small smile.

"Only if you're well enough to sing it." Ami answered as she looked at Bubbles.

"Yay." Bubbles quietly squeaked as she took a small breath.

"Hey, we wanna sing it to." Blossom said with a smile as she looked at Bubbles.

"Yeah, you can't be the only one to sing it to Ami mommy." Buttercup added with a small breath.

"Why don't you all sing it as a family." Ami suggested with a smile as she gently rubbed each of their heads.

"Okay." All three puffs replied as they each took a small breath before starting. "When buildings burn like the sun, there's a bad guy on the run, or you get a boo boo having fun, you pick up the phone and call 911." The girls sang with smiles and giggles.

"Wow! That was really good girls, the professor taught you all very well. I'm very impressed, you all have such lovely singing voices." Ami complimented with a smile as she gave each puff a kiss on their forehead. "Thats for being such good and brave little girls." Ami said with a smile as she stared at all three of them.

"Thank you." Ms. Bellum said into the phone as she hung it up. "There's an ambulance on the way, it should be here in a few minutes." Ms. Bellum informed as she knelt down by the girls.

"Thank you Ms. Bellum." Ami thanked in a calm tone.

"We will leave you all alone, and Mojo will get to work on the universal transporter." Mojo informed as he started walking away.

"Beat alls." Ami said in a slightly angry tone.

"Y-yes ma'am?" Mojo stuttered as they all turned around and faced Ami.

"Thank you for what you did, you might've started on the wrong path, but you ended on the right one. It was brave how you all stood up to Reaper like that, especially knowing how dangerous he was. I won't forget that." Ami said with a smile as she turned and looked at the beat alls.

"And weeee won't forget your mercy Ms. Mercury. For we shall forever be in your debt." Him said in his feminine tone with a small smile.

"Rebuild the transporter and cover the girl's hospital bills and you can consider all debts paid in full. At least to me." Ami informed with a smile as she looked back at the girls. "Even if the transporter never works again though, I have the greatest thing I could ever ask for, the safety of my girls." Ami quietly said as she gently rubbed each puff's head.

"I promise that the machine will be fixed in a timely manner, for Mojo shall not rest until you are able to return home." Mojo triumphantly declared as he pumped his fist in the air.

"We'll help you build it Mojo! No matter how difficult or costly, the machine shall be completed within two days." Him informed in his feminine tone with a large smile.

"Why so few?" Mojo asked with a confused expression.

"Because our two universes are exactly six and a half months apart. For today is December twenty-second in her world." Him explained in his feminine tone once again.

"So Christmas is but three days away for her, she deserves to be with her friends and family during that special time of year. Mojo will be sure to complete the machine within two days, for two days is the amount of time that Mojo shall take to complete the machine, thus making sure that Ami is home within two days so she can be with her family on Christmas!" Mojo yelled as he started heading into his lab.

"How did you know that?" Ami asked in a surprised tone as she stared at Him.

"I know many things about your universe, that creature you called Reaper explained a lot things to us about your universe. The original plan for the universal transporter was to allow us to travel to your world and ask for your help." Him explained with a straight face.

"But upon the transporters completion the punny puffs showed up. In fear that Reaper was listening in I played the part of a the same old Mojo who was bent on destroying the puffs. I fired the laser into your world and by some miracle I was able to grab you with it." Mojo quietly explained with a straight face.

"Wait, you mean you didn't even aim. You just shot the beam and let fate take it from there?" Ami asked with a shocked expression.

"Yes, it could've hit anyone anywhere in your universe. It seems that fate was on our side that day, for it was you the beam hit and thus it was you who was brought to our world to save it! For you are Sailor Mercury, the wisest and most powerful of your friends, not to mention you knew the creature best! Faith chose you to save our world, and to save your little puffs." Mojo explained with a grin.

"The girls! Ms. Bellum, how long till that ambulance gets here?" Ami asked in a slightly frantic tone as she looked back at Ms. Bellum.

"I think I hear it!" Ms. Bellum happily answered as several different pitched sirens began to approach.

"It's the wee woo wee woo car." Bubbles quietly said with a tired smile.

"Yay." Blossom groaned with a small smile.

"Something tells me we're not gonna make it to practice tonight Bubs." Buttercup quietly chuckled.

"I hope Maylyn isn't gonna be disappointed in us." Bubbles quietly said as she started crying.

"I'm sure Maylyn will understand." Blossom groaned as she looked over at Bubbles and Buttercup.

"Townsville P.D, what's the situation?" A police officer asked as she pulled up to the scene and exited her car.

"Three injured puffs, one E KIA, and then those guys." Ami answered as the officer approached her.

"Who's the vic?" The officer asked as she kneeled down by the puffs.

"A monster, nothing to really concern anyone with. The creature was destroyed and disposed of in the volcano. These are the ones you should worry about dealing with ma'am." Ami informed as she gestured to the beat alls.

"Ah yes, the beat alls. At it again huh guys? Wellp, you know the drill. Turn around, place your hands over your head, and interlace your fingers." The officer instructed as she pulled out her handcuffs and several zip ties.

"Yes officer." The beat alls sighed as they all did as they were instructed.

"Control, this is three bravo thirteen, I'm gonna need a pick up of four suspect at my location. Over." The officer informed into her radio as she handcuffed each of the beat alls.

"Copy that thirteen, I'm dispatching an armored pickup car now, ETA three minutes. Over." A man replied over the radio in a professional tone.

"Rodger dispatch, stand by for further traffic." The officer replied as she once again kneeled down by the girls. "What happened to the girls?" The officer asked as she stared at each of the puffs.

"The big ugly monster gave us boo boos." Bubbles answered with a small sniffle.

"Oh, you poor sweet girls. Don't worry, some nice paramedics are gonna come and get you all fixed up. They're gonna take you three to see a doctor so you can feel all better again." The officer said with a smile as she looked down at Bubbles.

"The wee woo wee woo car?" Bubbles asked with a small smile.

"Yep, that's the one. Speaking of the wee woo wee woo car, I think it's here." The officer informed with a smile as she looked behind her, just in time to see an ambulance pull up.

"Of all the things that could happen in a shift, I never thought we'd be called to transport a puff." One of the paramedics said as she stepped out of the ambulance.

"It was about the last thing I would've expected as well, but let's just do our job and keep a level head. Don't wanna make the girls feel scared, they may be superheroes but they're still just little girls." The second paramedic replied as he approached the girls. "Hey there little ladies, so what's going on? You get some owies?" The paramedic asked as he kneeled down by Blossom.

"Mhm." Blossom quietly answered with a nod.

"What kinds of owies?" The second paramedic asked as she kneeled down by Buttercup.

"That mean ugly creature gassed us with anti chemical x, then he tried to steal it from our bodies. It hurt." Bubbles cried as she held her arms out to the paramedic.

"I'm so sorry girls, that must've been so scary for all of you. Did the police get the big bad monster who hurt all of you like this?" The paramedic asked with a small frown.

"No, Ami mommy beat it up. Then she threw it in the volcano." Buttercup answered with a smile as she looked at Ami. The officer and paramedics looked at her as well with shocked expressions.

"What can I say, it hurt my babies so I had to punish it." Ami said with a grin.

"You murdered someone?" The second paramedic whispered as she stared at Ami.

"Not by the legal definition of murder. I killed a monster, a literal monster made of dark matter. It wasn't human so technically I didn't commit murder." Ami answered with a smirk.

"I like this girl, she's clever and quick witted." The officer said with a grin.

"That's because our Ami mommy's the smartest lady ever!" Blossom said with a smile as she looked up at Ami.

"I've heard you're pretty smart yourself. I passed a bookstore when I was walking around today and it had an encyclopedia set displayed in the window with your picture on it. The Blossom I'm so smart encyclopedia collection, you're the only four year old I know who has an encyclopedia collection named after her." Ami giggled as she patted Blossom's head.

"Show off." Buttercup grumbled as she stared at Blossom.

"Says the girl who has a collectible called the Buttercup beat you up boxing gloves, and before you say anything you adorable little blonde, I saw a display at the hardware store of a bubbles spits a lot fountain." Ami giggled as she looked at Buttercup and Bubbles.

"We don't like to talk about those collectibles, it reminds us of that creep Baxter. He kidnapped us and put us in display boxes once, he was a total dork!" Blossom yelled as she flung her arms up in a dramatic fashion.

"Well he's lucky I wasn't around when he did that, or else he'd be frozen with fear, literally." Ami replied with a grin.

"You're so funny Ami mommy." Bubbles giggled.

"Let's get them checked out and transported. I'd recommend putting them on some oxygen, just to be sure all the anti chemical x gas has been flushed from their systems." Ami instructed as she stood up and took a few steps back to let the paramedics work.

"Understood ma'am. You heard her, let's get these girls on some O2 and get 'em transported!" The paramedic yelled as he stood up.

"Here, I've got some cans you girls can use. Just breathe normally through the masks." The second paramedic instructed as she grabbed three small silver and green cans from a cabinet in the ambulance, then hooked a small rubber mask to each one.

"We can hold the masks on their faces while you two get them prepped for transport." Ami informed as she took the oxygen cans, then gave one to the mayor and one to Ms. Bellum. "Alright Buttercup, now just do what the nice lady said and breathe normal." Ami instructed as she held the mask over Buttercup's face.

"You to Blossom." Ms. Bellum instructed as she did the same thing.

"There you go Bubbles, now take nice easy breaths." The mayor instructed with a smile as he held the mask on Bubble's face.

"This thing smells funny." Bubbles giggled as she poked the mask.

"That's just the rubber mask, but it's okay Bubbles. Just try and ignore it, you won't have to wear it for too long." Ami informed with a small smile.

"Okay." Bubbles replied as she continued to breathe through the mask.

"Can someone get a pulse ox on these girls please?" Ami asked as she looked at the paramedics.

"On it." The first paramedic replied as she grabbed an odd tool and clipped it to Blossom's hand. "O2 levels are stabilizing, she's at ninety percent and climbing." The paramedic informed as she walked over to Bubbles and did the same thing. "Ninety-two percent and climbing." The paramedic said to herself as she approached Buttercup. "Good, ninety three percent and rising. They're levels are returning to normal, they're safe to transport." The paramedic informed as she removed the device from Buttercup's hand.

"Rodger that. I'll call it in while you two get 'em set for transport." The officer informed as she walked over to her car. "Dispatch, this is three bravo thirteen, please relay this information to the Townsville hospital. Three Powerpuffs in bound via EMS, ETA five minutes. Girls are stable but injured. Also be advised, the girls have a plus one that's gonna be with them. She's okay to stay with them until the father arrives at least. Over." The officer informed into her radio.

"Rodger that thirteen, I'll contact the hospital now and have them on standby. I'll also let them know to call the professor. Over." The dispatcher calmly replied.

"Appreciate that dispatch, over and out." The officer said as she hung up her radio. "The girls all set?" The officer asked as she looked at the paramedics.

"Yep, we've got 'em all secured on the gurney and we're ready to move out. You gonna be okay alone with those villains?" The second paramedic asked as she started loading the gurney into the ambulance.

"I should be fine, doubt they'd try anything right now. Plus the armored transport should be here shortly." The officer answered with a smile.

"Alright, we'll head out then." The paramedic informed as she got in the back with Ami and the girls.

"Take care girls, and get better soon." The officer said with a smile as she waved to the girls.

"Bye bye police lady, thanks for helping us." Bubbles thanked with a smile.

"I didn't really do anything, but you're welcome any ways girls. I hope you all feel better soon." The officer replied with a smile as she waved goodbye to Bubbles.

"Thank you." All three puffs thanked as the doors closed and the ambulance started driving away. "This is weird, I've never been in an ambulance before." Blossom quietly said as she looked around.

"They're not so bad girls, a little bumpy sometimes, but they're pretty okay otherwise." Ami informed with a smile as she looked down at the girls.

"Have you been in one of these things before Ami mommy?" Buttercup asked with a smile as she looked at Ami.

"One of them? I've lost count of how many times I've been taken to the hospital in one of these things." Ami replied with a grin.

"Wow, you must get beat up a lot." Blossom said in a surprised tone as she stared at Ami.

"Oh yeah, but for as many times as I've been beaten up, I've beat up at least twice as many monsters." Ami replied with a grin.

"I really wanna see Maylen, she always makes me feel so strong and happy." Buttercup quietly said with a small sigh.

"Who's Maylyn?" Ami asked as she looked down at Buttercup.

"Our roller derby captain, she's the coolest girl ever." Buttercup answered with a smile.

"I have faith that you'll see her really soon Buttercup." Ami said with a smile as she gently rubbed Buttercup's head.

"Why do you think that Ami?" Blossom asked with a confused expression.

"Well, I can see the future at times." Ami answered with a giggle.

"Prove it." Blossom instructed with a grin.

"I'll try, but I'm still learning how this power works." Ami informed as she gently put a hand on Buttercup's chest. "Okay. I see a lightning bolt, something that's dark pink, a purple skirt, a light pink tank top, and I get a sense of strength. Do any of those things have to do with this Maylyn girl?" Ami asked with a smile as she gently rubbed her head.

"Yeah! That sounds like her! She has dark pink hair, a lightning bolt on her helmet, she wears the outfit you described, and she's super tough! Like eating a bowl of nails without milk tough!" Buttercup yelled with excitement.

"You really like this Maylyn girl, don't you Buttercup?" Ami asked with a smile.

"Yeah, she's so awesome! Plus she's super nice, and so is the rest of the team! They're all so supportive of each other, and they don't get angry when Bubs and I have to take off to fight crime, instead the only thing they worry about is if we're gonna be safe. They're the best!" Buttercup cheered with enthusiasm.

"They sound wonderful Buttercup, I can't wait to meet them." Ami said with a smile as the ambulance came to a gentle stop.

"We're here everyone, let's get these girls all checked out." The first paramedic informed as he put the ambulance in park and got out of it.

"Sounds like a plan. Come on girls." The second paramedic said with a smile as she opened the back doors and jumped out, then started pulling the gurney out.

"How are you three feeling?" The first paramedic asked as he started wheeling the gurney inside with his partner.

"A little better, I think that shot of chemical x Ami mommy gave us is really helping." Blossom answered with a smile.

"That's good girls, but we'll have a doctor check you three out anyways." The second paramedic replied with a smile as she and her partner wheeled them past the front desk and towards the elevator. "We'll take 'em to the E.R to get 'em assessed. Though they seem to be doing much better." The paramedic informed as she looked at her partner.

"Agreed. How are you feeling girls?" The first paramedic asked with a smile as he looked down at the girls.

"Tired and sore, but it hurts less than it did before." Blossom answered with a smile.

"Speak for yourself Bloss." Buttercup groaned as she placed a hand over her chest.

"Can we put her in for a chest x-ray?" Ami asked as she looked at the paramedic.

"Yeah, I'll let 'em know once we get to the E.R." The paramedic answered as the elevator came to a stop.

"Thanks." Ami replied as she watched the elevator doors open.

"What's the status?" A doctor asked as he ran over to the girls as they were wheeled off the elevator.

"Stable but broken. It was reported that they were each given an injection of chemical x as well as a set or two of chest compressions each. They were gassed with anti chemical x so we put them on oxygen during transport, their levels stabilized shortly before arrival." The first paramedic explained as he handed the doctor a chart.

"Glad to see that they're stable and conscious. We'll bring them into E.R three and have them assessed by a team." The doctor informed as he walked alongside the paramedics and looked over the chart.

"WHOA! Buttlyn?! Bubblyn?! Blossom?! What happened to you girls?!" A young woman yelled as she stood up from a chair and ran over to the girls.

"What happened to us? What happened to you?" Buttercup asked as she stared at the girl.

"Dislocated my wrist during practice again." The girl answered with a grin. "What about you girls, you three look like you've been plowed down by the whole Fear Leaders team?" The girl asked with a small frown.

"We wish, we were gassed with anti chemical x, and Buttercup got beat up." Blossom answered with a small frown.

"WHAT?! Who's the dead jerk that tortured and beat up our teammates and their sister?! We'll show that monster who's boss, because when you mess with one Derbytante you mess with all of us!" The girl shouted in a fit of rage.

"Don't worry Maylyn, Ami mommy beat it up. It's never gonna hurt anyone again." Bubbles informed with a small smile.

"Ami mommy?" Maylyn asked as she looked at Ami.

"Hi, I'm Ami Mizuno. The girls kind of see me as a mother figure I guess." Ami informed with a smile as she held her hand out to Maylyn.

"Hm. You seem like a good person to see in that light. Nice to meet you, I'm Maylyn." Maylyn introduced herself as she shook Ami's hand. She was about Ami's height and looked pretty close to what Ami had seen in her vision. She had long pink hair that jutted out several inches on either side of her head, she had large white eyes with black pupils, and some purple markings on her face by her eyes, some kind of face paint. She was wearing a black one piece shorts and sport bra combo, a pink tank top, and a purple mini skirt. "So I guess this means you two aren't gonna make it to the game tonight." Maylyn quietly said as she looked down at the puffs.

"Probably not, we're sorry to let you down Maylyn." Buttercup quietly said with a small frown.

"You could never let us down Buttlyn, you either Bublyn. Even you Blossom, we know you're not a member of the Derbytantes, but you're a member of the Powerpuffs. You girls could never let us or the city down, just worry about you. There'll be other practices and games, just make sure you get better before the big tournament. We're gonna need you two. The toughest roughest derby players we've got." Maylyn said with a smile as she held a fist out to the girls.

"Yay!" All three puffs cheered as they each fist bumped Maylyn.

"Ya mind if I join you?" Maylyn asked as she looked at the doctors.

"As long as they don't mind." The doctor answered as he looked at the girls.

"We don't mind." Bubbles informed with a smile.

"Follow us please." The doctor instructed as he lead everyone into a large room. "Let's get them on the table and asses them one at a time." The doctor instructed as he laid a paper sheet on the table.

"Not another cold metal table." Blossom quietly said as she looked over at the shiny metallic table.

"Another one?" The doctor asked with a confused expression.

"That looks like the one Mojo put us on when he took our chemical x. It was cold and hard, I don't wanna be on another table like that." Bubbles quietly cried

"Maybe this will help." A nurse said with a smile as she pulled a soft white blanket out of a cabinet and laid it on the table. "There, that should help a bit." The nurse said with a smile as she looked at the girls.

"Thank you." All three puffs quietly thanked with smiles.

"You're welcome girls, now we're gonna assess each of you one at a time okay. So who would like to be the brave little puff to go first?" The nurse asked with a smile as she looked back and forth between each puff.

"I will." Bubbles answered with a tough expression.

"Really?!" Blossom and Buttercup both yelled in surprise.

"Yes, I wanna be tough like Ami mommy." Bubbles replied with a look of determination.

"That's my brave and bubbly little girl." Ami giggled as she gently picked Bubbles up and laid her on the table.

"Alright, let's take a look at you." The doctor said with a smile as he gently felt around various parts of Bubble's body. "Nothing feels misaligned or broken apart from your sternum, are you in any kind of severe pain at all?" The doctor asked as he continued to assess Bubbles.

"No, just sleepy." Bubbles answered with a small yawn.

"That's probably the adrenaline wearing off, according to your chart you were given an emergency dose of chemical x. Says it worked similar to a shot of epinephrine. A good call on someone's part, they were wise to do that, it probably saved your lives." The doctor informed as he gently moved Bubbles back onto the gurney, then gently moved Blossom to the table.

"That was our Ami mommy, she's the smartest person ever." Blossom cheered with a small smile.

"I'm not that smart, your dad's a real genius." Ami replied with a smile.

"Alright, similar ailments to Bubbles. Nothing major except for the break in the sternal region, you should be okay." The doctor informed as he gently moved Blossom back onto the gurney, then carefully moved Buttercup from there to the table.

"Ah." Buttercup quietly yelped as she was moved.

"Sorry kiddo." The doctor apologized as he looked over Buttercup. "Where did these bruises come from?" The doctor asked as he looked up at Ami.

"Those are old, they're from a different incident. They should be in her file since she was just in for them a day or two ago." Ami informed with a straight face.

"Nurse?" The doctor asked as he looked back at the nurse.

"Right here, multiple broken bones and signs of blunt force trauma. Extensive bruising around the chest, sides, and back. As well as minor bruising to the limbs." The nurse informed as she looked through Buttercup's file.

"How'd those bruises happen Buttercup?" The doctor asked with a small frown.

"I got beat up by villains." Buttercup answered with a small frown.

"That must've been a lot of villains, because these are bad bruises little lady." The doctor quietly said with a small frown.

"Almost every one of them in Townsville. Even some common crooks got in on it, but I wasn't innocent either. I stole their teeth so I could give them to the tooth fairy." Buttercup quietly said with a small frown.

"Two wrongs don't make a right Buttercup, you must be in a lot of pain right now. You all must be, but especially you. You were already injured and now you've suffered additional injuries. I'm putting you on mandatory bed rest for at least the next few days." The doctor informed as he jotted some notes down.

"But the tournament." Buttercup quietly said with a small frown as she stared at the doctor.

"Isn't as important as you Buttlyn, listen to the doctor and rest. There'll be other tournaments, but there's only one you." Maylyn said with a smile as she gently patted Buttercup's head.

"Okay." Buttercup quietly replied with a sigh.

"Alright girls, that takes care of everything. You're all free to go home, we called your dad and he's in the waiting room with a Ms. Bellum and the mayor." The doctor informed with a smile.

"Will you carry us Ami mommy?" Bubbles asked with a small frown as she held her arms out to Ami.

"Of course I will baby." Ami answered as she carefully picked Bubbles up, then Buttercup and Blossom.

"Thank you Ami mommy." All three girls thanked as they snuggled against Ami.

"You're welcome girls." Ami quietly replied as she carried the girls out of the E.R and into the waiting room.

"Girls! Oh thank goodness, how are they?" The professor asked as Ami handed the girls to him.

"Not terrible, they have broken sternums from the chest compressions, and Buttercup's injuries are about the same with an addition of a more severe injury to her sternum due to the compressions. But it could've been a whole lot worse, I'm just glad they're alive and pretty well." Ami quietly answered with a small smile.

"Oh thank goodness you're all safe. I was so worried about you girls, thank goodness your Ami mommy was there to save the day. Thank you Ami, I don't know how I can ever repay you for everything you've done for our family. If there's anything you want or need, you can have it, no matter what it is." The professor informed with tears of joy as he held the girls close.

"Well, there is one thing professor." Ami quietly said as she stared at the professor.

"Anything." The professor replied with a smile.

"I want a hug. I miss my friends and family, I just need a hug." Ami quietly cried as she stared at the professor.

"Oh Ami." The professor quietly said as he handed the girls to Ms. Bellum, then hugged Ami as tight as he could.

"AH!" Ami suddenly yelled as she pushed the professor off of her and clutched her side.

"What is it Ami, what happened?!" The professor yelled as he stared at Ami.

"I...I don't know, I just felt this sharp pain in my side." Ami groaned as she placed a hand on her right side.

"Ms. Bellum, could you look at her please?" The professor asked as he took the girls from Ms. Bellum.

"Of course." Ms. Bellum answered as she walked over to Ami and gently lifted her shirt. "Get a doctor, and hurry." Ms. Bellum instructed as she carefully sat Ami down.

"What's wrong Ms. Bellum?" The mayor asked as he stared at Ami and Ms. Bellum.

"She's been impaled by something. I've never seen anything like it." Ms. Bellum answered as she stared at Ami's wound.

"Let me look." Ami groaned as she looked down at her side. "Oh hell no, I'm not letting you do this again you bastard." Ami growled as she stared at a small galactic colored shard in her side.

"What is it Ami?" The professor asked with a worried expression.

"It's one of Reaper's tricks. He must've impaled me with a piece of his essence during the fight, he's highly regenerative, even from this fragment he could manifest his entire form. I have to destroy this thing now before he comes back, it's the only way to make sure he's gone for good." Ami explained as she wrapped her hand around the shard.

"NO! If you pull that thing out you could die, who know's what it's embedded in, it could be in a major organ or artery!" The professor warned as he stared at Ami.

"I don't have a choice, if he regenerates then this world is doomed. I won't be able to fight him if he regenerates from this shard while it's still embedded in me, it would kill me and leave your world at his mercy, something he doesn't have. This has to end, I swore to protect the girls no matter the cost, even if that cost had to be paid with my life. My heart and soul to the cause!" Ami screamed as she gripped the shard as tight she could, then ripped it out of her body. "AAAAH! Damn it that hurt, uh you're gonna pay for that you freak!" Ami screamed as she froze the shard solid in permafrost. "That will never thaw, and now I'll have a permanent reminder of the monster who made me what I am right now. A hero, a villain, a killer, a savior, and above all else, a mother. He may have been the bane of my existence for several months, but now he's a reminder of how rewarding the universe can be if you have the strength to survive its cruelty. I think I'm gonna turn him into a necklace." Ami said with a smile as she put the shard in her pocket and clutched her side. "That's gonna need a few stitches I think." Ami groaned as she put some pressure on her wound.

"A few stitches?! Ami that thing's gushing blood!" The professor yelled as took his lab coat off and used it to put pressure on Ami's wound.

"I don't think it's that bad, it probably looks worse than it is." Ami replied with a chuckle as she looked down at the professor's coat, which had gone from white to red in seconds. "Okay, that might be a little worse than I'd originally thought. But I've survived worse." Ami groaned as she slumped in her chair.

"Yeah right, you can drop the act Ami. I'm here now, so you don't have to be the strong one right now; how bad does it truly hurt?" The professor asked as he pressed harder on Ami's wound.

"It feels like I'm being repeatedly shot in the same spot, and I should know because I've actually been shot. Ah! That's too hard!" Ami yelled as the professor applied additional pressure to the wound.

"Sorry." The professor apologized as he eased up on the pressure slightly.

"Ami mommy." Bubbles quietly cried as she stared at Ami.

"I-it's...it's okay girls, I'm...okay." Ami quietly said through some short rapid breaths.

"But you have a big boo boo." Bubbles quietly said as she stared at Ami's side.

"I know. I...I know Bubbles, but Ami mommy's...been through..." Ami tried to reply, until she started coughing up blood.

"Ami mommy!" All three puffs screamed in horror as Ami spat out a bunch of blood, watching as it splattered on the floor like it'd been spilt from a cup.

"D-d-don't...worry g-girls, I'm..." Ami stopped as she suddenly fell limp in her chair and collapsed to the floor.

"Where's that doctor?!" The professor screamed as he looked behind him.

"Here! What happened to her?!" A woman asked as she ran up to the professor.

"She was impaled with something and she pulled it out. She was doing okay and then the bleeding got worse. She started coughing up blood and then she passed out!" The professor explained as he held pressure on Ami's wound.

"We'll take it from here. Alert the trauma surgeon and call a code blue, stat!" The doctor instructed as she stared at Ami's wound.

"On it!" A nurse replied as he ran over to a phone. "We have a code blue in the E.R lobby, code blue E.R lobby!" The nurse announced over the p.a system before running back over to Ami.

"I've paged the trauma surgeon, him and his team are on the way." A doctor informed as she kneeled down by Ami.

"Is Ami mommy gonna be okay?" Bubbles quietly cried as she and the rest of the puffs stared at Ami.

"We're gonna do everything we can sweetie." The doctor replied as she put her hands over the professor's.

"You have to save our Ami mommy, please Ms. doctor." Blossom quietly cried as she stared at Ami.

"Have faith girls, she's a strong woman. Just believe in her." The doctor quietly instructed as she looked down at Ami.

"Stand clear please." A man instructed as him and several other staff members rolled a bed and a defibrillator over to Ami.

"Let's get her up on three." One of the nurses instructed as she lowered the bed.

"One, two, three lift." The man counted as he and the team lifted Ami into the bed.

"Ami mommy." The puffs quietly cried as Ami was wheeled away.

"It'll be okay girls, Ami's strong and she's survived things like this before." The professor quietly said as he gently hugged his girls.

"I'm scared Maylyn, what if she doesn't make it?" Buttercup quietly cried as she looked at Maylyn.

"Don't worry Buttlyn, I've met a lot of tough people in my time, and just when I thought they couldn't come any tougher than you I met her. If anyone can come back from that, it's her. Just be brave Buttlyn, be brave for your Ami mommy." Maylyn encouraged with a smile as she gently hugged Buttercup.

"Okay." Buttercup replied with a sniffle as she stared in the direction Ami had been wheeled in.

"Please, come back to us Ami." The professor quietly said as he clasped his hands together. "You're our family." The professor whispered as he looked at the puffs.
