Late at night, the full moon shines brightly and illuminate the trees from the large and now empty park. A young five-year-old boy can be seen running past each tree, trying to find a way out of the forest area at the park that seem to go on endlessly. "Oh no! She's going to be mad that I wandered off" the boy shouts in worry in his soft and panting voice "The one time she isn't always a few feet away from me, I wondered off… she will never let me leave her sights again" he groans while continue to sprint through the deep woods.
"Hello, dear child" a smooth and deep voice speaks up out of nowhere "Huh?" the boy halts his movement, then turns to the right and see a tall woman dress in a grey coat and black fedora that is tilt down to hide most of her upper face. "H-hello" the boy replies back in nervous, taking a few steps away from the stranger "Are you lost? Dear child" she asks as her lips turn into a concern frown "Y-yeah, I'm trying to find my guardian! She will be so mad" the boy said, lifting his hands up and pouts cutely.
Unnoticed by the boy, but the woman licks her lips when she saw him pout before, smiling kindly "Shall I help you? It's very dangerous for a young and cute boy like you wonder around at night alone" she offers and the boy look at her with slight hesitant "My Mommy and Daddy told me to never trust a stranger" "Very wise of them indeed. What's your name, little one?" "Nawin Makasha!" the boy said with a bright grin "And my name is Ritzu… there, we are no longer strangers, Little Nawin." the woman said with a smile and extend her right arm "Now then, shall we go? I may know where your guardian is since I saw a woman not far from here… she looks like she was in a hurry" "Oh! It must be her!" Nawin beams brightly and jog toward the woman.
The woman's smile widens when she grasps the boy's delicate hand and feel his soft pure skin "You smell wonderful, little Nawin" she gasps in pleasure and gets a weird look from the boy "Um… thank you, Miss Ritzu". Nawin wince when he feels the woman's grip start tightening around his waist, also he takes notice of how cold her hands are "W-what are you doing?" he whimpers at the pain while the woman's smile turns into a sinister one "Your blood smells so wonderful… that I want suck it dry!" she shouts as a strong wind blow past them and push the fedora away.
Nawin scream in fear when seeing the woman's frightening and repulsive face, wide red eyes with slit pupils that holds nothing but bloodlust, large gaping mouth that bear two long and sharp fangs, cold pale skin. "Let me take your precious blood!" she shouts and push the boy down on his back. Nawin quickly move back and watch the woman about to pounce, but before she could, a hand shoot from the left and pierce through her neck.
Nawin watch with his teary eyes and see the woman gasp in fear before her body burst into dust, leaving only her clothes to fall into the ground. "You are a disgrace to vampires, to think my kind would fall so low and become nothing but an uncontrollable blood-lusted beast" a calm and soothing voice said in stern tone.
Nawin look at his savoir and see one of the most beautiful girl he has laid eyes on. The girl looks to be a few years older than him and she has elegant flowing silver hair that reach to her knees, pale smooth skin, the same glowing red slit eye as the woman, but hers hold a calm and collective emotion in them instead of uncontrollable bloodlust and sinister.
The tall girl swipes her hand to rid of the blood, then turns to Nawin, her lips form into a gentle and beautiful smile "You ok, little one?" she asks in concern, dropping to her knees and extend her right hand, though that is ignore and instead, the boy surprise her with a hug. The girl hears the boy sniffles and feel his shaking boy, in response she finds most suitable, she hugs back and softly stroke his hair "It's ok now… are you hurt?" "N-no, t-thank you" Nawin reply in trembling voice.
The cold night wind blow past them, but the silver-haired girl wraps her arms tightly around the boy to keep him warm. She looks down and sees the boy's innocent dark brown eyes looking at her and the moment those eyes look at her, the girl feels her heart skip a beat. The girl looks at her boy with slight fascinate at what he had just made her feel, it's something she have never felt before in her cold and lonely heart. "What is your name, my dear?" she asks and move her hand on the boy's cheek to proceed wiping away remaining tears "Nawin Makasha!" he reply with a bright innocent smile that warms the silver-haired girl's cold heart.
The wind blows past them again, Nawin watch in awe at the girl's silver hair blowing around gorgeously and the moon illuminate on her face, her red eyes glows brightly at the dark "My name is Sayomi… shall I take you home, my dear?". The boy looks at Sayomi's eyes and can find himself trusting her, then slowly, he nods "Yes".
'… That… was that real?' Nawin utters in his mind, witnessing a shard of the past he never knew was there 'Sayomi… she saved me from a vampire? Her eyes… so lonely and lost. Is that really the same Sayomi?' he questions in the world of darkness. Nawin snap his eyes open and find himself staring at Sayomi's sleeping face, leaning just inches above his face.
'They look exactly the same' Nawin thinks, looking at the current Sayomi and comparing to the one that saved him that one dreadful night 'I have no doubt now… This Sayomi saved me and now… she has changed. Where did this memory come from?' Nawin place his right hand on his face 'My early life… is shrouded in mystery… like fogs'.
Being so lost in his mind, Nawin didn't realize Sayomi is already awake and staring down at him, studying his confuse and frustration eyes 'I see… you are regaining something too, Nawin' she thinks. The Makasha return to his senses and see Sayomi looking down at him with an unreadable expression, complete blank is what he can say "What happened?" he softy ask, not bothering to get up and just stare at the Pureblood.
"You lost conscious from blood lost… I took you here and healed you, also I took the liberty of reattaching your feet" Sayomi reply calmly and watch Nawin push her arms away from his waist and stand up. The Makasha stumble a bit from numbness of his feet, but quickly regain his bearing and look down to see himself dress in a long-sleeve brown button shirt and long grey pants. Nawin unbutton the shirt a bit to expose his chest, allowing air to enter his body. He didn't bother question or complaining that the Pureblood has strip him down when he was unconscious 'I guess my clothes was wet… I would have caught a cold if it stayed' he utters, still feeling a bit drowsy and most of all, confuse. He is confuse on why the Pureblood would go through this length to keep him alive and healthy, he knows she could have just healed his wound and toss his feet away, she could have not bother putting warm clothes on him and definitely didn't need to use her body to provide him warmth.
"Why?" is all Nawin ask and he receive a dark chuckle out from Sayomi "I did that so you wouldn't be completely useless in our battle with the Sorcerer" she reply and stand back up "I can't be bother looking out for you like a baby, don't take it the wrong way, my dear" she said with such conviction and insulting way that Nawin wasn't sure if that was an act or she really meant it.
The Makasha didn't let the insult bother him "You said Sorcerer?" he asks and walk forward to look out of the cave entrance and the sight he is greet by is wet forest 'Looks like it rained' he notes. "Yes, the Tree Golems, Water Serpents, and the Illusion I've encountered, those were a work of a Sorcerer, a powerful one at that… I'm guessing he or she is here on Ophis's behalf" Sayomi explain their situation and enemy "Unclear where this Sorcerer is hiding, but I am positive they are going to come for us instead of us coming for them".
"When that time comes you better be of use" Sayomi state and walk past the Makasha and out of the cave. Nawin takes note of Sayomi still dress in her grey lace bra, black tights, and black high-heel boots 'I guess vampires don't get cold…' he notes. Nawin place his right hand over the mark, his eyes stare hard on the extinguish fire 'I may have to release its power for the battle… is that why you did this, Ophis? To make me used the mark's power and risk being tainted by it?'.
Nawin is snap out of his thoughts when he hears a loud thud on the floor, in front of him "Can you cook?" Sayomi questions as Nawin stare down at a gigantic and weirdos looking fish he has ever seen. The purple scale fish is almost six feet long with a long gaping mouth that house dozens of small razor sharp teethes, dead pale blue eyes, long orange fins that must look like a flame in motion when the fish was alive and in the waters.
"I am starving and I'm sure you are on the same board" Sayomi states, walking past the Makasha and to the neatly pile dry logs that she has staked yesterday. Nawin sighs and form a shadow knife "I'm surprise you don't just go find some creature and suck their blood" he comments and begin skinning the large fish, fortunate for Nawin, his mother taught him everything about cooking and surviving expect, so skinning fish is a simple task for him. Yao wasn't going to be left off when Jonathan start teaching their son in combat, so she took the liberty to teach him in surviving 'Even though I thought it was unnecessary… it's now proving to be useful… thanks, Mom' he thinks with a smile, just thinking about his beloved and caring Mother.
"Not every blood taste good… some are downright inedible. The only good blood in this island would be you, my dear" Sayomi said with a smirk and place the logs over the burnt ones "I could take your blood by force, but unfortunately if I do that, you'll just round up passing out from the blood lost. You are still trying to regain all of them back… eating fish should do you some good".
"… When did you get this fish? It looks like you were near me the whole time when I woke up" Nawin question, throwing away the cut fins "You were very deep asleep, I left early morning to get the fish" Sayomi reply and fire a pink beam to the new pile of logs to create bright fire that warms and light up the small cave. "I slept for a whole day?" Nawin whisper in amaze "You were heavily injured" Sayomi simply assert and take a seat in front of the fire.
After that, Nawin goes quiet to focus on skinning the fish perfectly, but all the while he is doing that, he can feel Sayomi's eyes observing from behind. The Makasha finds it a little irritating, but stay silent and continue the task since he was starving and want to get this fish down his stomach as soon as possible.
Ten minutes past and now Nawin is placing a few cut fillets on a stick grill that Sayomi build over the fire, just slightly above it so the fire to cook the fish properly without burning them. "That thing better hold" Nawin mumble after placing the last fillet down and takes a seat at the other side of the fire, opposite from the Pureblood.
"Such low confident you have in me, Nawin-kun" Sayomi said, mock in hurt by his comment "Who are you?" Nawin suddenly demands, unable to keep it quiet anymore as that memory continue rolling in his mind repeatedly. Sayomi raise an eyebrow and chuckle "I am a being that transient above all others, I am a being who is in a class of its own, I am a vampire that strikes other vampires and beings in fear… I am a Pureblood Vampire, immortal beings that once rule the earth before any foolish three factions was a thing" Sayomi answers in calm and smooth tone, but power is what heard in that tone, such frightening and ominous power that it cause the Makasha's heart to rise for a second in fear.
'Pureblood Vampire...' "Tell me… what separates you from other vampires… what is the meaning of Pureblood?" Nawin ask a question that's been in his mind ever since Sayomi reveal her identity. Sayomi eyes glow in red and stare at the fire "Pureblood Vampire doesn't have an ounce of human blood in them, we are the ultimate being to first step foot in this earth and are gifted unmatched power that can lay waste to entire country. Some gifted Pureblood like Alucard gains power that can rival that of Gods. He is a being that was able to strikes fear to even Gods like Hades or Zeus. It is the reason why there's barely any vampire left on earth, much less Purebloods. The Angels and Devils, with the help of the Bible God killed my whole Kin, fearing that some vampires would had the potential to become the next Alucard when tis impossible. All Pureblood was slaughtered and lower-level vampire can't become Pureblood because they weren't born as one" she explains slowly and in detail all the while looking at the swirling fire with those glowing eyes.
"You escaped the massacre by slumbering" it isn't a question but a statement that Nawin said "Yes, I went into slumber for so long that I can't tell how long it exactly been… millenniums" "Then how come you look so young when I first met you… at that cold night in the park" Nawin said sharply. Sayomi pause and her eyes slowly widen 'You promise to never leave me!' 'I never will, my dear Nawin' voices run through the Vampire's mind and she wince when hearing the innocent and sad voice. "… It wasn't a normal slumber, I took a deep slumber that us Pureblood would take when we are heavily injured or got nothing else to do. It essentially stops our body from aging and our conscious fall into deep sleep. I fall into slumber when I was still young and that's why when I awaken… I still hold that appearance" Sayomi answers the question, coolly.
Seeing her cold eyes already send the message to the Makasha, telling him to not push his question any further, but all it does is raise more questions 'I'll find out who you really are, Sayomi Dracul' Nawin promise himself and turn back to the fillets, to see them ready. "It's edible" he informs and quickly grab the hot fillet then set it down on a clean sizable rock that is use as a plate for them.
The two quietly dig in to their meal, both clearly have lots in their mind. Nawin would usually enjoy the silence, but right now he isn't and it infuriated him on how this girl, this Pureblood is able to affect him feel this way. He wants to know more about her and it confuse and annoys him to no end, but even if he asks again he knows only silence or violence will be an answer he gets.
Even Akeno who's shrouded in mystery and is his lover, he doesn't bother pushing her, it could be because of his love for her and patient to allow her to speak. Sayomi on the other hand, the person he loathes have this mystery that he would do almost anything to find out. He now knows that she's someone who's been his life from almost the start and as much as he tries to remember, only blank comes in his mind as he tries to remember what happen after that night in the park.
Sayomi pause by the heavy wind blowing into the cave, her eyes narrow and turn to the entrance to see a shadow of what looks like to be a giant lion. 'He's here!' "NAWIN!" Sayomi toss the plate and shoots up, grabbing the daze Makasha by the arm "Snap out of your thoughts!" she shouts and pull him away. The cave ceiling collapse, follow by a sound of booming roar, then the two sees a large figure in the smoke, lands on the now distinguish campfire.
Nawin push the Pureblood hands away and takes a step forward 'I need to let out some steam anyway' he states and glare at the figure in the smoke with his glowing red eyes. The smoke scatter by the beast releasing another booming roar, but the two-stand strong without flinching at its horrible breath or powerful air flowing past them. When the smoke clears, Nawin and Sayomi eyes widen in surprise when they see a Chimera standing in front of them. The monstrous fire-breathing hybrid creature stand large that it just barely fit the tall and wide cave. The creature has lion as its head, with the head of a goat arising from its back, the goat has a violent and hideous appearance with its blue rough fur, glowing red eyes with horizontal pupil, and long sharp horns protruding from above its head. A large green serpents swirl around as its tail, with its glowing green slit eyes looking at them and hiss loudly.
The two gets alert when the Lion open its mouth and breath a large wave of fire towards them. Nawin glance back and see it's a dead end, he quickly summons a Gunblade and throws it through the wave fire. He glances at Sayomi, who also glance back at him, before he disappears in black flash.
Sayomi sigh and lift her right hand up, pointing at the incoming fire, her eyes sharpen in menace "Doom B—" "Not so fast" a sickening and spine-shivering voice teasingly speak from behind. Sayomi body freeze and before she could counter, a lightning bolt strike through her abdomen and sends her flying into the fire, that envelopes her completely before it erupt the whole cave.
The Gunblade stab down just a few paces away from the cave's entrance, Nawin appear beside the blade and picks it up before turning around to look at the flames, roaring out from the entrance. He stares blankly on, then turn serious when seeing the Chimera stumping out from the flames and all the three-animal's head glare at him with killing intent.
"Bring it on, you bloody beast" Nawin said monotonously, as he grabs the Gunblade and points it toward the beast. The Chimera send a mighty roar, creating a powerful wind wave that sends Nawin flying back and crash through three trees. He groans and slowly gets up to only see the beast in the air, with its arms pointing straight down at the Makasha, ready to impale him with its sharp claws.
Nawin throws the Gunblade to another tree and disappear in time, just as the beast slam into the ground which cause a violent rumble on the ground. Appearing beside the tree, Nawin immediately pull the sword back and switch it to its gun mode and start shooting the Chimera, which angers it and start giving chase. Nawin dash through the woods, evading tree by tree while continue shooting at the raging creature 'Damn, it's skin is too thick… normal bullets won't do a thing' Nawin notes, seeing his bullets just falling or bouncing away after impacting the beast.
Nawin change the blade back to sword mode and throw it back at the Chimera, but it jumps to the right to dodge the attack. Nawin smirk and disappear in black flash "Let's get rid of this snake!" he appears next to the blade spiraling behind the beast and grab it "Haah!" he screams and with all his strength swing down at the tail.
"Uh!" Nawin gasp in shock when the Gunblade shatter in contact with the serpent's scale 'How hard is that thing?!' he thinks and didn't see the Chimera right feet coming toward him. Nawin feel a huge blow hit his chest and sends him crashing through numbers of trees before he slid down to the ground, on his back.
"Wait" Nawin looks up at the sky to see it's the underworld's sky now "Oh this is good, underworld sun is always dim" a smirk grows on the Makasha lips as he sits up and see the Chimera walking towards him. "I may not have full power, but at least I'm fighting without restraint!" Nawin shoots up and extend his right hand "Thunder Roar Howl!" he chants and fire the wide-range yellow electric blast, which takes the creature by surprise and hit it right in the face.
Nawin dash in to the smoke while summoning the twisted etcher. His eyes glow in red when he spots the creature shadow and jumps up, with the sword above his head and swings it down with all his strength, then hears the sound of his blade cutting through the tough skin.
Nawin hear a sound of swift movement and quickly release the sword, using the Lion's head as a platform, he backflip to miss the creature's sharp claw swinging from the right. Nawin lands on the ground and jumps back to keep a safe distance from the no doubt now angry creature.
The smoke clears and shows the twisted etcher stinking in the Lion's right ear and quiet deep in there 'Damn, I must have missed the brain' Nawin silently cuss 'If the blade was lean a bit more to the left… it would be over'. "NAWIN!" a voice shout from the right and before Nawin could even register it, a green beam impales through his chest and abdomen from behind.
The Beam stop and Nawin slowly look to the right and see Sayomi's horrified and shock expression before collapsing to the ground. Sayomi snap her head to the direction where the beam appears and see the Sorcerer standing there, holding a wooden staff and grinning disgustingly.
"You surv—" the Sorcerer halt and swiftly tap his staff to the ground to summon a green magic shield in front to block Sayomi's punch from the air. The ground shake and creak from the force, but the shield didn't break "Ahhh… that upsets you?" the Sorcerer taunt with a smirk, looking at the raging Pureblood, glaring down at him with menacing eyes.
The Sorcerer smirk widen when seeing the state of the Vampire. Her arms, legs and part of her torso suffer second degree burn "Your vampire's healing is truly fascinating… I see the wound cause by my lightning spell is already healed, though you refuse to waste more mana on healing the burns… am I correct?" he questions and sees Sayomi gritting her teeth, which gives him enough answer.
Sayomi hear a creaking sound coming from behind and glance to see the Goat firing a lightning bolt from its horns, forcing her to kick on the shield and hover above the attack. The Sorcerer dispel his shield before the lightning could strike and points his staff at Sayomi "Earth wall!" he chants.
Sayomi look down and see a pillar of earth shooting up from the ground, heading right up at her. She response by smashing it with her right hand, obliterating the pillar, but her focus is taken away from the Chimera. The creature is in air and slam its head at Sayomi's side, sending her flying away and crash into another earth pillar that shoots up. Sayomi groans in pain and slam to the ground with much force from the height she fell that it creates a deep crater.
The Sorcerer crack out a laugh at the heavily bruise vampire "Ahahaha, with my spell and the mighty Chimera in my control! You are no match for me, Pureblood!" he shouts, wearing a craze grin. "You should focus on someone else" a deep and dark voice state, before a demonic lightning strike from behind and through the Sorcerer's heart.
Sayomi stare in utter shock at Nawin standing behind the Sorcerer, the draconic mark spread half on his body and the menacing purple aura swirls around him. "I-impossible!" the Sorcerer cough out blood and glance back to see the Makasha's stoic and cold red slit eyes staring at him. Nawin pull back his hand and push the man forward, causing him to collapse face-first to the ground.
Nawin attention turn to the Chimera, that is growling at him "Take your master, you mongrel" he said and kick the Sorcerer to the beast. Nawin and Sayomi eyes widen in shock when the Chimera suddenly open its mouth and swallow the Sorcerer whole.
The Chimera let out a loud roar that shake the whole jungle, its body start to emit green aura that start swirling violently around it. Nawin wince when feeling the mark's start giving off a stinging pain, forcing him to quickly recedes it back before he loses control. The Chimera start to gain more muscle that's popping out on its torso, arms, and legs. It slowly starts standing up on its two feet and stretch its arms out widely. Black horns shoot out from the Lion's ears, sending the twisted etcher to the ground. The Lion's fur ridden and turn almost ember color and its eyes glows in blood red.
The Goat and Serpent stay the same, but they have grown slightly bigger in size. The two notice the Sorcerer's head slowly grows out from the Chimera's torso. The head snap it's eyes open and grin "Wrong move, Makasha! Instead of fighting in my broken and aging body!" the Chimera stump the ground and let out a booming roar "I now control this powerful and durable body! You two are dead! AHAHAHAHA!" he laughs maniacally.
Nawin gets alert when the Lion turn its head to them and breath out a wave of fire. The Makasha glance at the vampire and grits his teeth 'Damn it!' he quickly runs toward Sayomi and pick her up with his right hand while summoning a dagger on the left, which he uses to throw away and disappear in black flash.
Nawin appear a few meters away from the Chimera and take off in a dash while holding Sayomi closely, under his shoulder. Sayomi grits her teeth and grab Nawin's hand and throws it away, allowing her to land on the ground while Nawin halt a few paces forward. "What?!" he turns around and shout in annoyance "Don't carry me around like I'm helpless!" Sayomi hiss, glaring at him with anger "No time to be prideful! Look at yourself, you are on a verge of passing out!" Nawin shoot back.
Sayomi clench her hands tightly and turn around to fire a doom blast from her right hand at the incoming Chimera. 'Curses! It's too weak!' she cusses, when seeing the creature slowly walking through the blast without a problem or sustaining any injury. Sayomi release the blast to save her mana and the Chimera immediately breaks into a sprint toward them.
Sayomi sees the Chimera swinging its right hand down and she's about to move, but Nawin appear in front and block the attack with a Greatsword. "Haa!" Nawin push the hand back and retract the sword back before swinging it forward with both his arms and cut the Chimera's palm.
"Ahaha! What was that?!" the Sorcerer taunts and the hand continue its attack, striking back down at them. Nawin quickly bring the Greatsword up to block the attack and successfully did, though the sword shatter quickly after impact and the fist smash right down his chest, but with less force then it intended, unfortunately the attack still did enough damage to send him crashing to the ground hard.
"AAAAHHHHH!" Sayomi hears Nawin's painful scream and her expression darken. She kicks the Chimera's hand that was pinning the Makasha to the ground away and quickly grabs him, then retreat in great speed. Sayomi swing the semi-conscious Makasha over her shoulder and blaze through the forest 'I've lost too much blood' she pants faintly and lick around her dry mouth 'I'm… thirsty'.
'With my current condition and power, I can't fight that thing and Nawin only manage to gash its tough skin' Sayomi pants become more noticeable 'I haven't drunk any blood for the past two days and my mana have been severely cut off by that damn seal… I need to think of something or we will die here'.
Sayomi jumps up to the branches and start jumping forward, branch by branch to hopefully lose the beast. Nawin slowly regain his conscious and look down to see the Chimera sprinting on its feet, staring up at them "Sayomi! It's at the bottom" he warns at the daze vampire. The Chimera jumps up and position the Goat's horn upwards. Sayomi sees this at the last moment and toss the Makasha away. "NOO!" Nawin stretch his hand out to grab the Pureblood's hand, but he's too far and one of the horn penetrate Sayomi's stomach, before she goes up, past the tall tree's leaves along with the creature.
Fortunately, Nawin can adjust his balance midair and land on his feet, then starts looking around to find the creature. A few seconds past and Nawin sees the Chimera dropping from the leaves and crash in front of him. "Ahahahahah!" the Sorcerer continue to laugh like a maniac, his eyes show nothing but unstable bloodlust. Nawin heart skip a beat when he sees Sayomi limp body hanging on the horn "Bastard!" he swears and throws a dagger toward the Goat.
Nawin disappear and lands between the horns, he quickly grabs Sayomi's shoulder, but before teleporting away. "Take this you, smelling fuck!" Nawin summon a lance and strike right down on the Goat's head, but he didn't the weapon as deep as he wants, cause of the animal's tough skull and the low strength he currently wield.
Nawin quickly disappear with Sayomi just in time before Lightning stream explode around the horns.
Cave
Nawin appear inside the dark cave 'Good thing I place a marker here, just in case' he thinks and look at the entrance to see it's block by large pile of rubbles, which is fortunate for them to provide a safe hiding spot for a while. Holding Sayomi's in his arms, Nawin lean her on the wall and thorough examine her, to sees her weak condition.
Sayomi's smooth skin is now even more pale than usual, her breather is rapid and short, her eyes are in daze, and she's clenching her chest with her right hand. 'No please! Don't die!' a young voice rings around Nawin's mind, his heart start to beat in rapid pace and his breath shorten 'T-this… t-this is…' he loudly gulps, when hearing Sayomi's rapid heartbeat and seeing all the other symptoms.
Nawin clench his head and stare at the suffering vampire with many emotions. Shock, anger, happy, grief, and sadness are all shown in his red eyes that slowly turn back to its normal brown. 'You must live! You promise me! You promise we would be together!' the voices continue to pummel in his head, tears start build around the Makasha's eyes. 'T-these symptoms... Anemia' a flickering image of a girl wearing a blooded white sundress appear in Nawin's mind, her smile so warm even though her beautiful purple eyes are cold as death.
Sayomi eyes shine back in life and slowly, she turns her head to look at the frozen Makasha, she can hear him having a panic attack. Slowly, she brings her right hand up and cup the Makasha's cheek, snapping him back, when feeling the coldness of her hand caressing his cheek.
In the back of his mind, Nawin knows this is the best and probably the only chance he gets to kill the Pureblood, but something is stopping him, his heart is screaming him not to strike her down and finish it, though his head is arguing against it, telling him to slam a demonic lightning through her heart. Sayomi's eyes hold a warm feeling, like telling him everything is ok 'Like hers' the image of the girl in the white sundress flash in his mind again.
'I-I can't let this happen… not again! Not this way!' with his mind made up, Nawin pull the collar of his shirt down, to expose his neck "Drink it" he utters softly, lowering his head, causing the bangs of hair to cover his eyes. Sayomi's eyes widen significantly at the offer, before it turns in to sadness, which she hides quickly by turning her head to the side "I refuse" she quietly replies.
Nawin freeze in shock and quickly look up with anger shining in his eyes "You'll die! Stop being prideful!" he shouts and look down at the large whole on the vampire's bloody stomach. "I won't do it… for your sake" Sayomi utters softly 'I-I'm fine, my dear, you don't have t-to d-do it' 'But I want to! Please!' different voices keep piercing through the Makasha's mind.
"I won't let you die" Nawin whisper and chump down on his right arm with much force that blood immediately start flowing down it. Sayomi's eyes glow bright red when the delicious scent of blood fills the air, and her eyes shoot to the Makasha. Bangs in front cover Nawin's eyes "… Not this way" he utters and start sucking the blood from the wound.
Sayomi feel the other hand, resting on her neck, pushes her up and before she can utter a word. A soft lip gently places onto hers, then a flourish of rich and delicious blood flow into her thirsty mouth and down her throat. Sayomi can't suppress the moans at the delectable taste and push forward to get every ounce of it. Power start flowing into the Pureblood's body and the large wound quickly start regenerating along with the burn marks, her skin slowly turns back into a healthy color, her heart start beating in a steady pace, and her eyes glow brightly in life.
Outside
"What?!" the Sorcerer shouts when he sees a large pink aura explode from the cave and skyrocket to the skies. A huge explosion erupts somewhere in the island, then a gold magic field start spreading from the direction of the explosion and stretch out to the edges of the island, before shattering into thousands of shining shards.
"I-Impossible! My seal has been BROKEN?! How can this be?!" the man howl in disbelief and rage. "It's broken because it can't contain my power" the cave crumble entrance erupts into dust and slowly, Sayomi walk out of the smoke with sparkling pink aura flowing around her and reach up to the skies.
The Pureblood grin menacingly when seeing fear start creeping into the Sorcerer's blue eyes "Now, I say we can fight in an even playing field, don't you agree, Sorcerer?" she question and bring her right hand up to wipe the remaining blood from her lips. Sayomi looks at the blood on her thump and sensually licks it clean and slowly smirk at the enemy "I promise myself that I'll take my time and cut you down into pieces… I intend to keep that promise" she said, clench her hand with much force it cause the ground beneath her to dent.
The Chimera roar and send a wave of fire, though it's not to her, but towards the cave. Sayomi release her wings to shoot up and shoot her right hand forward, extending her index finger to stop the flame and lift above her, turning the attack into a flaming ball. "I say this belongs to you" she retorts with a sadistic grin and point her index forward to return the attack back.
The Chimera jumps to the right, though it's large and now bulky frame prove to damage its once fast and agile body. The fireball impacts the ground and explode in a field of fire that burn half of the Chimera body. "How does it feel getting burn?" Sayomi mocks, watching half of the creature's shaking body cover in smoke and heavy burns "Y-you bitch!" the Sorcerer shouts, half his face suffers hideous burns.
Sayomi glance back to see Nawin sitting inside the cave, leaning on the wall and watch the battle with tire eyes. "You ain't touching him" she states, walking forward and flick her fingers to summon a pink barrier that surround the whole cave to keep anything from entering or exiting it.
The Sorcerer click his tongue in annoyance though quickly maintain his psychotic grin "You think you can kill me?! I still have lots of trick under my belt! Don't underestimate a SORCERER SUCH AS I!" he boasts and start powering up, causing green aura to explode around the Chimera, trying to match with the Pureblood overwhelming power.
A sadistic and bloodlust grin slowly form on Sayomi's lips "You think I'm just going to simply kill you?" she questions in amusement, lowering her arms to her side and chuckle darkly "You got that wrong, Sorcerer" her glowing eyes stare down at the Sorcerer's "I'm going to mutilate you".
"I like to see you try!" the Sorcerer shouts and the Chimera sprint toward the Pureblood. The Goat fires a lightning bolt which is discard easily by Sayomi slapping the attack away, then zooms forward. "GAHHHHHH!" the Sorcerer suddenly scream in agony when he feels the torturous pain erupt from behind, like his spine just been rip from his rectum.
"I thought pulling this out would have hurt. Glad I was right" Sayomi amuse voice rings from behind, making the Chimera turn to see her holding the Serpent's whole corpse. Sayomi never release the menacing grin on her face, and toss tail to the ground "Like I said" she speak and walk toward the creature "I'm going to cut you into pieces for what you have done".
The Sorcerer, in an act of fright quickly send a barrage of punches to the incoming vampire, though all of them are counter, before Sayomi push both hands away and speed towards the legs. She sharpens her right hand and a pink blade create of pure magic form which she uses to cut the creature's legs off.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" a painful scream erupts around the area follow by a loud thud. Sayomi dispel the blade and turn around to see the Chimera laying on its face "And you thought you stood a chance against me. Ahahaha, that's laughable" Sayomi smile sadistically and stops in front of the incapacitate creature.
Sayomi lift her right arm and twist her hand to the right which cause the Chimera body to turn around by an invisible force and now its front is facing up. The Sorcerer burn and bloody face is on display and he let out another loud scream when he feels the Chimera arms being cut clean off and hears it fall to the ground.
"Greetings, Sorcerer... It's nice to finally meet each other properly face to face" the man opens his eyes and see Sayomi standing on the Chimera's torso, looking down at him with those sinister eyes. Sayomi grins widen when she sees absolute terror in the eyes of the Sorcerer. "You ready to get out of that useless body? I can certainly help you with that" she said in ominous and dark tone and bend her upper body down to grab the side of his head with both hand.
"N-no! NOO! DON'T!" the man shout and start to scream in agony when feeling the Pureblood start pulling. Sayomi grins and her eyes shine brightly in menace, before ripping the head completely off from the torso. "You should have ran the moment you heard the words 'Pureblood Vampire', Sorcerer" Sayomi state, looking at the sever head staring back at her with its dead blue eyes and gaping mouth, then she tosses it away.
Nawin witness the whole brutality and he still doesn't feel regret at his decision to not end her, no matter how hard he tries. But, he those feel more wary of the Pureblood after seeing what she's capable off and just how gruesome and sadistic she can be.
Nawin hears the barrier shatter and look up to see Sayomi walking towards him, her expression is unreadable and her eyes are blank. Nawin slowly gets up and use the wall as support "Good wo—" a loud slap echoes around the cave. Nawin eyes is widen in shock and his head sent to the right from the slap, a burning sensation rush in his left cheek "That's for your naïve idea of asking me to drink your blood, you fool" she hiss, glaring sternly and angerly at the Makasha.
"Do you have any idea what weight those words hold! To say it to a Pureblood!" Sayomi spat "The other reason why Pureblood are so feared because only us can turn other beings into vampires! Not normal vampires, but a mindless monster that losses his or her humanity and goes mad with bloodlust! Nothing but a monster craving for endless blood, the same one that you encountered that night!".
Nawin slowly moves his head forward and stare at the angry vampire with wide-eyes "I-I didn't know" he can only whisper those words after hearing what could have potentially happened to him, if Sayomi had sank her fangs into his neck. But now only more question race into his mind 'Why didn't she do it? I'm her enemy, but she continues to… to protect me'.
Nawin look at the vampire with harden eyes "Tell me! I want answers now! Who are you? And why did you continue to defend me?! It can't just because I'm part of your plan!" he shouts out with frustrating tone. Sayomi didn't say a word and just stare at him with blank eyes "You really want to know?" she suddenly said and turn around.
The Pureblood suddenly dash away "WAIT!" Nawin immediately give chase and quickly catch up to her. The two races through the jungle in blinding speed, until Sayomi stop at the shore and stare out at the endless ocean. Nawin quickly burst out from the bushes and stop a few paces from the vampire "Tell me!" he shouts, losing patience.
Sayomi stare quietly at the ocean, then turn around to face the panting Makasha "I'll confirm something that you probably have notice… your memory has been tampered and sealed away by a person I'm sure you can guess" she said, and the individual that appear in Nawin's head is his mother.
Sayomi flick her finger to summon a door that spit into existence and inside shows nothing but darkness "I'll leave you with a word of advice, Nawin" she said, catching the boy's attention "Be wary of those close to you, because if they choose to believe taking certain actions would protect you in someway, then they won't have trouble hiding behind lies and lies, acting like demons if need be" with those words said, Sayomi turn around and enter the door.
Nawin watch the door shuts and disappear from existence. 'Hiding behind lies' those words echoes in his mind. Nawin stare at the ocean with mix emotion running in his eyes "Can I truly trust them?" he utters and a picture of his family and friends appear in his mind, before he vanishes in black flash.
