Ash, who aims to defeat the World Monarch, Leon, and Goh, who dreams of catching every Pokemon to work his way up to Mew, this is the story of their lovelife and adventures.
Goh's POV:
"What're you up to, Goh?" Ash said, as he walked towards Goh who was looking at his Rotom Phone. "Oh, just choosing which Pokemon to take for the race. I thought I'd enter this!" Goh said, and then showed Ash what he was looking at. "The Pokemon Catching Adventure Race?" Ash read. "It's a race where you catch Pokemon while hiking up a mountain to reach the goal!" Goh informed Ash. "That's a perfect race for you!" Ash grinned. "Huh? The race is in Alola?" Ash said, reading the article on Goh's Rotom Phone. "Yeah! It's a chance to catch some more Alolan Pokemon! I can't wait!" Goh said ecstatic, not revealing his true intentions to embarrass Ash with them. "It's a team race. Let's do it together, Ash!" Goh suggested. "Okay!" Ash agreed, as the two boys then made their way to Alola. Once there, Goh registered both of them into the race. Suddenly however, they saw two kids run buy, then stop once they saw Ash. "You're Mr. Ash, the Alola Pokemon League's first Champion, aren't you?!" The two kids said in unison, as Ash and Goh stared at them, confused. "I can't believe we found you here! Can I shake your hand?! Let us snap some pics with you! Oh, this is giving me all the feels!" The kids said, then grabbed Ash away and took photos with him. "The Alola League Champion?" Goh asked, confused. "I competed in a tournament here, and I ended up winning!" Ash explained. "What?! That's amazing, Ash! Why did you never mention that?!" Goh asked with wonder. He loved Ash already, and learning that he was the Champion of Alola was quite a revelation, which only made Goh love him more. Goh really wished that Ash had told him earlier, as Goh embarrassing the Champion of Alola all the time was such an amazing thought!
Ash's POV:
"Oh, I didn't?" Ash said to Goh, blushing, when Goh learned that Ash was the Champion of Alola. Ash had always wanted to tell Goh, but wanted to do it in a way that would impress Goh, who Ash secretly loved. Now however, Goh had learned the truth, and Ash was embarrassed as he didn't know how to explain this to Goh. Thankfully however, Goh seemed rather impressed than disappointed, which was a good thing for Ash. "Mr. Ash, you're entering the race too?!" The two kids asked Ash. "Yeah, with Goh" Ash said, trying to give Goh some focus too. "Nice to meet you!" Goh said. "Good to meetcha, too! We're the Full Power Brothers team! We're gonna beat Champion Ash and take the win with some real full power! 'Cause after all... we're always goin' at full power!" The two kids explained, as Ash and Goh stared at them awkwardly. "Let's give it all we got, see ya!" The brothers said, then ran off. "They're really stoked!" Ash told Goh. "Y-Yeah..." Goh awkwardly smiled. Afterwards, the two boys went to compete, and finally, the race started. Ash and Goh started running, and so did all of the other participants. Eventually, they came across the sight of a mountain. "That must be the first checkpoint, up there!" Ash said. Goh then sent out his Boldore, and the two boys rode on its back, as it climbed to the top of the mountain. Up there, Goh received an e-mail informing them that their first task was to catch an Alolan Geodude.
Goh's POV:
Ash and Goh got off Boldore, then searched around for an Alolan Geodude. After a while, Goh's Grookey found one, and Goh threw a Pokeball at it, successfully catching it. Great, now he had a new Pokemon to mess with Ash with! Ash and Goh then saw the full-power brothers from earlier, and chased after them, until all four of them wound up with their path being blocked by a boulder. "No sweat! We got a secret plan for times like these!" One of the brothers said, as both of them then performed a Z-Move. Or, at least, attempted to, as it ended up only slightly shaking the boulder, which then made it roll towards the four of them. Thankfully however, Goh's Boldore hurled it away with Headbutt, saving them from being crushed. "You can use Z-Moves too, right Ash?" Goh asked Ash. "Yeah! But not today, 'cause I left my Z-Ring behind" Ash said, like the idiot he was. "Wha-?" Goh said. He wasn't surprised that Ash did something that stupid, but was disappointed, as he really wanted to see Ash perform a Z-Move. The truth is that Goh wanted to use a Z-Move himself, particularly on Ash to embarrass him. After that, the boys then carried on, and went to a lake, where Goh received his next task, which was to catch a Bruxish. "Are they in this lake?" Goh asked Ash, who knew a lot about Alolan Pokemon, being the Region's Champion. "Hmm... I can't tell..." Ash said. "I know! Lucario, I choose you! Lucario, use your Aura to see if there's any Bruxish in the lake!" Ash said, sending out his Lucario. Lucario then did as Ash commanded, and found a Wild Bruxish in the lake. Goh then sent out his Pyukumuku and engaged the Bruxish in a battle, which resulted in Goh catching the Bruxish. Great, now he had two new Pokemon to embarrass Ash with! After that, they saw the full-power brothers again, trying to catch their own Bruxish. They tried to use their Z-Move again, but just like last time, it didn't do anything. "That wasn't a Z-Move" Ash told them. "What do you mean? Didn't you see my Z-Ring?" The brothers asked him. "Wearing a Z-Ring doesn't mean you can pull of Z-Moves anytime" Ash informed them. "Your hearts aren't in sync with Kommo-o. You know, how your heart heats up and goes all vraaaaah sometimes!" Ash said, not making any sense, as usual. At least the brothers seemed to understand him, even if Goh didn't. Words like "vraaaaah" and "ba-ba-ba-bang" weren't words to Goh, unlike Ash. Afterwards, Ash and Goh continued on their way into a forest, where they received their final task of the race, which was to catch a Passimian. Ash's Pikachu then climbed up into a tree and found a Sitrus Berry, then threw it at Ash, who caught it. "What're you doing with that?" Goh asked. "Passimian love to play catch. So..." Ash said, then threw the Sitrus Berry back at Pikachu, and started playing catch with it. Eventually, Passimian started appearing, and Goh threw a Pokeball at one of them, catching his last Pokemon of the race to embarrass Ash with. All of a sudden however, Team Rocket showed up, and tried to capture all of their Pokemon, using a Vileplume and a Tropius. "What's wrong, Champion?" The full-power brothers said, as they showed up. Ash and Goh then explained the situation, as Team Rocket started getting away with the Pokemon. The brothers then offered to help, and used their Z-Move, exactly as Ash taught them, defeating Team Rocket, and rescuing the Pokemon. Seeing a Z-Move like that really made Goh wish he had one to use on Ash, but unfortunately he didn't. After that, the two boys and two brothers continued their race, and ran to the finish line, where they ended up beating the brothers by an inch. The two boys then got awarded a trophy for winning, but for Goh, the real trophy was his new Pokemon.
Ash's POV:
After the race, the boys were standing at the beach, staring at the beautiful sky of Alola, when Ash suddenly got a notification on his Rotom Phone. He pulled it out and saw what it was. "An Ultra Class official battle has been scheduled for one week from now" it read. "Huh. In the Ultra Class, you get notifications beforehand" Goh said. "Your opponent is Contestant Volkner, ranked 27th" it read. Ash was surprised. He had already battled Volkner once before, back in Sinnoh, when he traveled with Dawn around the region. "Volkner...? That Volkner?" Ash said, as he then braced himself for the battle he would have to face in a week. For now however, he and Goh decided to have some fun in Alola, before heading back to Kanto, and then later Sinnoh. "So what do you think we should do?" Goh asked Goh. "Let's meet with Mallow, and Lana!" Ash suggested. He wanted to speak with the two girls, as he hadn't seen them since last time they came to Alola, and wanted to get their help with his makeup again. The next day, they called the girls, and arranged to meet at the Pokemon School. "Hey Ash! Hey Goh!" The girls greeted them. "Mallow! Lana!" Ash greeted them too. "Hi...!" Goh said, too. "I was really surprised to see you calling us, Ash!" Mallow said. "We just happened to come here, and I thought I could come by and say hello!" Ash said. "Come on Ash, we both know the real reason you called just us two, and on a day where the Pokemon School is closed so we can have it all to ourselves!" Lana said, giggling. "Agh, you got me!" Ash joked. "W-What's this about?" Goh asked. "Your friend here wants some help with his makeup!" Lana said, which made Ash blush from embarrassment. "Now if you'll excuse us, we'll take him for a moment!" Mallow said, as the three of them walked away, leaving Goh in the classroom. "Wait! I wanna come too!" Goh said. Mallow and Lana then looked towards Ash, waiting for his response. Ash was indecisive. He didn't mind Goh seeing him like that, but wanted to talk with the girls about his feelings towards Goh. He stood there for a moment, and eventually decided to not let Goh come with them, as they then left Goh in the classroom, and went to the girls bathroom. The girls then sat Ash in a chair in front of the mirror, and started putting on his makeup as they talked. "So, how's it going with you and your boyfriend?" Lana asked. "He's not my boyfriend... unfortunately..." Ash sighed. "We know, dummy! Between us, you can call him your boyfriend!" Lana said, as she gave him a smack on the back of his head for being a "dummy". "Ouch!" Ash said, which made Lana and Mallow giggle at his dismay. "You're really cute when you're like that, y'know!" Mallow said. "Like what?" Ash asked, confused. Lana then gave him another smack on the back of his head. "Ouch!" Ash said again. "Like that!" Mallow giggled. "I don't understand..." Ash said, which made the girls sigh. "When you're in pain, or embarrassment, you grow way cuter, Ash!" Lana explained. "Really?" Ash asked. "Yeah!" Mallow said. "Is that why so many of my friends like embarrassing me?" Ash asked. "Absolutely! Didn't you know?" Lana answered. "Not really... I just assumed that most of my friends liked behaving that way towards me" Ash said, rethinking all the times his friends have embarrassed him. "Who else liked embarrassing you?" Mallow asked, curious. "Misty did, a lot. May sometimes did, but not too often... Dawn seemed to really like embarrassing me, but she barely did it. Iris constantly embarrassed me, all the time. Bonnie also liked doing it to me, sometimes... and I guess you two liked embarrassing me, a lot. Most of all however, it seems that Goh really likes embarrassing me..." Ash said, blushing. "Oh?" Lana said. "That's great news!" Mallow smiled. "What? Are you sure?" Ash asked. "I'm sure of it! He likes you!" Mallow said, grinning. "Come on, tell him how you feel!" Lana said. "N-No! I-I... no!" Ash said, blushing tremendously. As much as he wanted Goh to love him back, he did not want to risk if, no matter what Lana and Mallow said. "We'll prove it to you!" Lana said. "H-How?" Ash asked. Instead of responding, the girls positioned him, and then pulled out some kit from their bags. Ash recognized that kit. They had used it in the past to dress him up as a Passimian, and as a cute nurse, as well as a lot of other stuff, too. "We're gonna make you the cutest 'you' you can be!" Both girls said in unison as they maniacally grinned, and Ash stared at them nervously, not knowing what to say. The girls then started putting on more makeup on him, as well as coloring his hair, and then they took off his clothes, as they made a dress for him. Ash was not eager to dress up as a girl again, but nothing he said would change the girl's minds, so he gave in.
Goh's POV:
Goh had been waiting in the classroom of the Pokemon School for the past half an hour, and Ash had still not returned. Goh had grown bored, with nothing to do, and wished that Ash was alongside him. All of a sudden, he heard footsteps coming towards him, and knew that Ash and the girls were coming back. "Ash? Is that you?" Goh asked. "It's not Ash, Goh!" He heard Lana's voice say. "Get ready to meet..." He heard Mallow's voice say, as he then saw three girls enter the room, two being Mallow and Lana and the other one being... "Ashley!" Mallow and Lana said in unison. Goh then realized that the third girl, was actually Ash. Immediately, Goh's eyes started glowing at the sight of an embarrassed Ash. "Ashley?! Wow! You look amazing!" Goh said, as he then looked at and admired the costume the girls had made Ash wear. Ash was wearing white heels, with no socks, and a cute pink skirt which was so short that Goh could spot Ash's underwear without having to look underneath, a shirt that was half pink, half white, and had very short sleeves, and his hair had been colored blonde, with a different, much more feminine hairstyle, with a better makeup than ever before which made his cheeks pink, and Ash's embarrassed look being the cherry on the cake. "Ta-da! What do you think?" The girls said in unison. "I think he-" Goh tried to say, before being interrupted. "She!" The girls said in unison. "Right, she, looks great!" Goh said. He already thought Ash was the cutest boy in the world, now Ash had grown cuter, as well as being the cutest girl in the world, too! "H-Hi... G-Goh..." Ash said, embarrassed, with his hands pulling his skirt slightly down to cover himself. Goh then immediately pulled out his Rotom Phone, snapping pictures of Ash from every angle. "See? We told you!" Lana whispered to Ash's ears, thinking Goh couldn't hear her. "Told him what? Err... sorry, told her what?" Goh asked. "Uh... N-Nothing!" Ash said, embarrassed. Goh stared at them in confusion. "Is something going on?" He asked them. "Tell him, Ashley" the girls said to 'Ashley'. "I... I... I love..." Ash muttered. Goh's heart skipped a beat. Did Ash mean... "I love this dress!" Ash said instead. "O-Oh..." Goh said, upset that Ash didn't say what Ash was hoping for. "I mean- Yeah! It's an amazing dress, Ash!" Goh said, which made the girls gaze at him. "I mean... Ashley!" Goh said. "Say, could you two give us the room?" Lana said to Ash and Goh. "Err... sure!" Goh said, as he and Ash walked to the hallway. "So, Ashley, right?" Goh giggled. "Yes..." Ash said, both embarrassed and slightly annoyed. "It's nice to meet you, Ashley" Goh said. "Nice to meet you too, Goh..." Ash played along, seemingly unwillingly, and shook Goh's hand. "Y'know Ashley, I have this friend, his name is Ash..." Goh said. "Right, I've heard of him..." Ashley said. "He looks a lot like you. He's the strongest trainer in Alola, and a huge idiot" Goh said. "Idiot?" Ashley said, sounding a little upset. "Yeah. He says random stuff that don't make sense, forgets stuff, doesn't think a lot, and he's really stupid... and I like that about him. He's my best friend" Goh said. "He... sounds nice" Ashley said, smiling. "And he is. I'm glad I have him as my friend. I'd really like to introduce you to him, too!" Goh said. "Do you maybe... have any pictures of him?" Ashley said. "Of course!" Goh said, then pulled out his phone and showed Ashley his favorite pictures of Ash. "You really seem to like embarrassing him, huh?" Ashley said. "Yeah, it's funny! He puts on makeup a lot, and has a really cute face... he's always cuter when he's embarrassed!" Goh said. "And... you like that?" Ashley asked. Goh then realized he messed up, and had almost accidentally confessed his feelings towards Ash. "I mean... I'm not into him! If that's what you're... thinking... but he's cute!" Goh said, nervously. "O-Oh..." Ashley said, seeming rather upset. "Do you think... he's into me?" Goh asked. "Uh- uh! Of course not! I don't think he is!" Ashley said, which broke Goh's heart. "Oh... uh... that makes sense!" Goh said, trying to appear happy with the outcome, when in reality, his heart was broken. The two of them then stood still and awkwardly stared at each other for a few minutes, unsure what to do or say, until eventually Mallow and Lana came back. "Hey Goh and Ashley, how are you two doing?" Mallow asked. "Hey Mallow... Lana... could you come with me for a moment?" Ashley asked them, and the three of them then walked away, leaving Goh alone, again. Once Goh was alone, he sat down in the classroom, and started sobbing.
Ash's POV:
"So, how'd it go?" Lana asked Ash, as soon as they got in the girls bathroom. Instead of responding, Ash fell on the floor and started sobbing. "Oh..." Lana said, as both girls then sat down next to Ash to comfort him. "There, there... it's ok... maybe we were wrong..." Mallow said. "We're sorry Ash..." Lana added. Ash however kept sobbing instead. "Can you tell us what happened?" Mallow asked. "I... *hic* I asked him if he... *hic* liked me and he *hic* said no... and when *hic* I said the same to him, he seemed *hic* happy..." Ash cried out, and started sobbing more. He felt his heart break even harder as he repeated the memory in his head. He cried more and more, for hours, until eventually he cried himself to sleep in the floor, and everything went black. When he opened his eyes, he saw the girls were taking off his dress. "H-Huh? What are you..." Ash asked. "Don't you wanna turn back to Ash?" Lana asked, trying to cheer him up. "You could have warned me..." Ash said. "We've been trying to tell you for the past hour, but you couldn't hear us over the sound of your crying" Mallow said. "Oh... sorry..." Ash said, as the girls changed him back to his normal clothes. "Come on, let's change your hair back too" Lana said, trying to lift Ash off the bathroom floor. "No, it's ok... I want to stay like this for a bit longer, I like the hair..." Ash said to them. He didn't actually mean it, but he knew they liked dressing him up like that and didn't want to undo their efforts. "As you wish" Mallow said, as they let Ash keep his makeup and hair. They then helped him get back up on his feet, and walked him to the classroom.
Goh's POV:
After having his heart broken, Goh had cried himself to sleep in the classroom's floor, and eventually woke up. He wiped his tears away, and looked at the sky to see it had turned to night. He got up, and sat back on the chair he was sitting at earlier. Eventually, he heard footsteps again. This time however, it wasn't Lana, Mallow and Ashley, it was Ash. Just Ash... with Ashley's hair and makeup. "Oh, hey... Ash... ley?" Goh said. "It's... Ash... I just look like Ashley... I liked how she looked" Ash said. "Yeah... Ashley looked good. I'll miss her..." Goh said. "I... think you might see her again, often" Ash said. "I... would like that, very much" Goh said, with a smile on his face. Ash and Goh then went back to Kanto, and went to their rooms. Knowing that this was the day that Chloe returned from Sinnoh, got pulled out his Rotom Phone and sent her a message. "Welcome back!" He texted her. "Thank you!" She texted back. "So what happened with Dawn?" Goh texted. Knowing that the relationship he dreamed of having with Ash was shattered, he hoped that Chloe at least got the relationship with Dawn she wanted. "We're officially girlfriends" Chloe texted back. "Woah, really? How did that happen?" Goh texted, happy for his friend. "We were stuck on a ferris wheel, when she kneeled down and told me she loved me. Immediately I was shocked, but then calmed down and told her I loved her too. We embraced each other with a hug, and kissed" Chloe texted back. "Woah, you kissed?! Mouth or cheek?" Goh texted, surprised. "Mouth" Chloe texted. "Lucky you!" Goh texted. "So how's it going with you and Ash?" Chloe texted. Goh started typing a message, but then stopped himself and deleted it. "Goh?" Chloe texted again. Instead of responding, Goh stared at his phone, and then shut it off.
