At Underworld, in an unknown area shows a deserted rocky and humid terrain. A land filled with nothingness beside of vast red mountains, small puddles of dark blue water, and dead gray trees. No clouds can be seen in the clear purple skies with the white sun glaring brightly at the land.
"Gah!" Misako comes crashing through a boulder and splatter to the ground, collapsing on her front. Her body is littered with bruises and small cuts. The black sweater worn over the pink shirt is half ripped and now hanging loosely while the black jean holds a couple of rips. Getting up, Misako immediate rolls to the right to avoid a right foot coming down from above, instead it buries into the earth.
Misako pushes her hands and feet forward, shooting herself toward her opponent and swing a right hand but gets blocks, causing her to look up, meeting eyes with those sharp red gaze from Akame.
The Knight didn't hesitate to bring her left hand forward, smashing it right at the center of the Ichiru's face and sends staggering back. Akame jumps back and thrust her right arm forward "Hell Stars" she utters and discharges four red beams that spiral through the air, heading to the Ichiru. Misako grits her teeth and thrust both arms forward "Ahhh!" she screams and slowly, pink sparkling mana form around her and a crystalize pink shield form in front of her. The beams contact the shield and disperse, unable to penetrate through it.
Akame lands on her feet, her eyes gleam in approval, watching the shield slowly cracks and shatters from existence. Misako gasp for air, feeling herself out of breath from forming the shield for the fifth time now. "Uh?!" she cocks her head up when hearing a sound of an explosion from the sky. "W-what?!" Misako's eyes widen in shock when seeing a figure flying down from the sky like a missile, heading right down to her. With those green lock swishing around in the air, it's no doubt Hana, who's looking down at the Ichiru with a compose but sharp eyes.
Hana comes blasting down to the ground, and a massive shockwave erupts, followed by clouds of dust, rocks scattering everywhere. Misako comes bursting from the dust, running away. Hana blast out of the brown cloud and quickly catch up with the Ichiru. Misako sees a right hook coming to her face from the side, but she halts to dodge it narrowly then tries to counter though couldn't even get her right hand up until a foot connects to her stomach that sends her barreling back.
Hana brings her foot down and takes a deep breath then breathes out a torrent of green flames toward the Ichiru. Misako hops back to her feet and looks forward to the fire. Seeing the frightening massive attack coming towards her cause Misako to freeze, but she quickly shakes her head and starts concentrating, powering up her mana.
'You won't be able to release your full potential until you are beaten to near death state, Misako' Nawin's word repeats in the Ichiru's mind. Misako's eyes snap open to reveal the sapphire-blue orbs are now gone and replace with magenta-pink with a glowing white cross shape as pupils. "Ahhhhh!" Misako screams and thrust her right arm forward, closing her palm to create a pink crystallize box that envelopes the entire flames. Bringing her left arm up, Misako glares at the stun Hydra before opening the left hand's palm to send the box blasting back.
Hana charges up her mana, causing green aura to erupt around while she and brings her hands together, then separate them in quick swiftness and a large poisonous purple bubble form. "Venom Bubble!" she exclaims and pushes the bubble toward the incoming box.
The bubble envelopes the box, stopping its momentum. Not a second later, a gigantic explosion erupts that level the area and the shockwave send Hana and Misako blasting away, both crashing through boulders and trees before viciously hitting the ground.
Grunting, Hana slowly raises up to her feet, clenching the right shoulder since it took most of the impact when crashing through obstacles. She looks up to see the black smoke slowly clears and sees Misako on the far across, on all fours and struggling to return to her feet.
Hana releases her shoulder and slowly advance, but stops when seeing Akame appears above the Ichiru, intending to send a vicious down kick to her head. Sensing it, Misako quickly rolls to the right as Akame crash to the ground. The Knight rip her leg from the earth and turns to see Misako on her feet and trace her index finger in the air, drawing a horizontal line to create a bright pink line.
Akame's eyes snap open when seeing small, sharp glowing shards appears around the line. Knowing what's coming, she quickly hops back and extends her right arm to the side to summon the Black Thunder, unsheathing it and toss the cover away. Akame's eyes sharpen and start deflecting all the shards with rapid strikes that any devil stronger than high-class could see. She finishes the last dozen shards off with two big slashes from down to up before slamming the blade toward and discharges a red lightning current toward the Ichiru.
Misako lift her arms up, ready to take the attack but she suddenly loses footing, her eyes revert to normal and she begin collapsing to the ground. Akame's eyes widen in panic, seeing the lightning speeding toward the defenseless girl. A black flash appears in front of the Ichiru, revealing Nawin, who swipes his right arm to the side and slap the electricity away to oblivion. Hana appears behind him to catch the falling Misako just in time before she could contact the ground.
Akame lets out a sigh of relief and picks up the sheath on the ground, placing her sword back before tossing it away and watch it disperse away in red electricity. She looks up to see Nawin giving her a smile and nod, which she returns with her own.
"How is she?" Nawin turns around to see Hana already placed the Ichiru down and began healing the wounds. "As usual, passed out due to exhaustion. She has pushed herself to the absolute limit" Hana informs. Akame stops beside her king, looking down at her pink-haired friend before glancing at the Makasha "Nawin-kun, we've been doing this for five days straight... I think it is time for us to return" she advises "She's right," Hana looks up to her Master "You took Misako away without a word, Master. The longer she's gone, the more worry the others will be, especially her parents" "I know, but" Nawin glance at the Ichiru "Misako also requested this session. She wants me to unlock her power soon, and this is the quickest solution... But," he sighs, nodding "You two are right, it's time I take Misako back to Kuoh. Fortunately, she's making progress, but still hasn't completely unleashed her sacred gear yet" "It'll take time," Akame state "I still haven't unlocked mine yet" "True..."
Hana blinks, turning to the Knight "You really haven't unlocked your sacred gear yet, Akame?" "No," "Wow, with the abilities you've shown currently is already frightening and to think you still have so much untapped potential," she says, admittedly impressed. Nawin smiles and claps his right hand down on the Knight's shoulder "That's why I picked her to be part of my team. Akame is simply a splendid swordswoman" he states with confidence that it brings a smile to the red-eyed girl's face.
"Huh," Nawin blinks when sensing strong killing intent from behind. Akame quickly summons her sword and jumps forward, ready to defend her king while Hana holds Misako close for protection. Nawin slowly turns to see a group of two men standing there, glaring at them with sharp blood-red slit eyes. The two have the exact same light blonde color hair and dressed in civilian like clothes.
Nawin's eyes narrow, knowing those slit eyes all too well "Vampires," he whispers as his eyes glow brightly in red, burning with anger at the sight of the specific race. Nawin steps forward, stopping beside Akame, staring heatedly at the vampires.
"Nawin Makasha," the right hand, the taller of the two points "By order from our Master, we have come here to eliminate you" "You'll die before you step into our realm" the other one adds. "Master?" Nawin's eyes sharpen "Which Master do you speak of, vampire? No way Sayomi Dracul would send you" "Like we would serve a faulty Pureblood!" the right one shouts, clearly insulted by the claim.
"Then clearly, I have no idea who your Master is, so why would they want me eliminated?" Nawin asks "We are sent here to Assassinate you," the left one says, stepping forward and punching his fists together "You won't get a thing from us, so just die!" he shouts, blasting forward in rapid pace.
"Hana, stay here with Misako. Akame, go," Nawin commands, and Akame takes one step forward before breaking in a blazing dash. Akame unsheathes the sword and lances it ahead, but the vampire drops down to slide under the blade. The man returns to his feet and instantly brings his right leg up to give a spinning kick.
Akame jumps, avoiding the attack and sends a right kick back, smashing it at the man's face, sending him sliding back while giving her a solid surface to push forward in midair before twirling around to face him and lands on the ground. "Cheeky, girl" the vampire utters, rubbing his forehead before grinning widely, his sharp fangs wholly in display. Akame brings her sword forward, holding it with both hands.
Suddenly, the other taller man jumps forward and thrust his right arm forward to fire a yellow magic blast toward the Knight. Nawin appears in black flash, midair and reflects the attack by swiping his right arm. The blast heads to the west, flying a dozen meters away before contacting the ground to ignite a massive explosion that levels a large part of the desolated area.
Nawin is slightly caught by surprise by the sheer power the blast hold. He looks up to see the man coming down towards him with both hands clenched together. Nawin raises his arms up in defense and feels the hands smash down, sending him blasting to the earth.
"Hahahaha!" the man in the sky scream maniacally before shooting down with both arms point forward. The dust suddenly blows away to reveal Nawin standing at the center of the crater with a bright blue orb charging on his right palm "Ice Glacier Storm!" he exclaims, thrusting the arm forward to discharge a stream of mighty ice cloud.
The vampire cuss and opens his palms to produce a massive yellow magic beam that goes right through the storm and heading toward the shock Makasha. The beam contacts and cause an enormous explosion that levels the area.
"Nawin-kun!" Akame shouts in concern then backflips to miss a missile kick from above. She glares and blazes forward, swiping her sword to cut the side of the vampire's stomach. He roars in pain and grips the large cut wound, blood pours down to the ground. Akeno turns around while pushing her mana into the sword, causing red electricity to appear around the black blade.
With a shout, she jumps forward and ready to finish off the vampire, but the taller one appears from the side and sends a backhand to her face that sends her flying away before crashing to the ground, sliding back. "Come now, little brother," the man lands beside his panting sibling, smirking in amusement "Already sustaining an injury?" "Shut up," the other snarls, releasing the wound to show it is already healed "She's fast" "I can see."
The younger one turn to the cloud of smokes "I thought the Black Flash is tougher than that," "Huh, same... I guess those rumors are always exaggerated." "Haaaahhh!" a magic signature suddenly skyrocket to Satan-class, and everyone turns to see the smoke starts swirling until it is blast away to reveal Nawin standing there, his jacket half burnt and hanging loosely while his silver shirt holds holes, showing the first-degree burn marks on his chest.
Both Vampires turn serious and go on-guard, staring cautiously at the massive black aura surrounding the Makasha, who's looking at them in the eyes with those glowing red gaze. "Akame!" Nawin shouts and blasts forward toward the two blondes. The vampires turn to see Akame also dashing toward them in blinding speed.
Nawin summons the twisted etcher and pulls the clutch, activating the engine and cause the chain to move around the blade. Akame blast toward the ground before coming down at the two with her sword to the side, ready to swing. Nawin disappears and reappears with between the vampires, shocking them. The older blond quickly jumps back in instinct to only see a glimpse of a black blur passing through him and not a moment later, blood exploding from his right shoulder. Nawin swings to the side but his opponent quickly dodges it by ducking down before countering with a high spinning kick. Nawin shoots his free arm up to catch the incoming leg then spins to toss the vampire away.
The oldest vampire roar and speed toward Akame with rage from the wound she inflicted on him "You damn wench!" he shouts. Akame swings her sword upwards from the right, but it is counter by the vampire slapping her arms away and send a right kick, smashing to her side, sending her sliding away. Akame grunts and withstand the attack to bring the sword up to block the incoming fist with the blade. The ground beneath cracks by the two attacks colliding.
"Black Flash!" the man roars and swipe his right arm up to fire a blazing red blast from the ground. 'I need one of them alive for questioning,' Nawin notes, staring at the younger of the sibling 'He will be easier to break.' With his mindset, Nawin disappears in a black flash and reappears right in front of the vampire. "W-what?!" the opponent utters in utter shock, never seeing such technique or speed and before he can attack, Nawin brings his right hand up to give a vicious uppercut to the stomach that cracks the ground and knock all the air out of the vampire's lungs. Nawin removes his hand and steps to the side to allow the blonde to collapse to the ground, knocked out.
Akame swings her right leg up but the man dodges it by stepping back then comes forward to counter but gets interrupted when feeling a blow comes crashing down on the top of his head that sends him crashing face-first onto the ground. Akame lowers her right leg to the ground and twirl her sword around before gripping it with both hands and bring it down, stabbing right at the center of the vampire's back and through his chest.
Pouring her mana into the sword, Akame watches red electricity form the blade and heads into the vampire's body. "Gahhhh!" the assassin screams in pain, feeling thousands of volts hitting every inch of his body. Seeing that her opponent is fundamentally unable to move from the shock, Akame pulls the sword out and immediately brings it down to the back of the vampire's head, successfully killing him. The assassin's corpse instantly disperses away to dust when executed.
Akame places the sword back to its sheath, staring at the dust laid on the ground. "Well done, Akame," she turns to see Nawin talking towards her, dragging the vampire by the shirt collar, "Thanks," she replies with a smile then follows her King back to Hana and Misako.
Nawin tosses the vampire to the ground and turns to Misako, seeing that she's still asleep, but all healed up. "They were tougher than expected," Hana asserts "Yeah," Nawin nods, turning to the unconscious vampire "Though whoever sent them clearly underestimate my skills. These assassins are only mid-class in skills... Azazel tells me that the Master-class of assassins is someone that even I should be caution off" "Who ordered them?" Akame questions "I am intending to find that out" Nawin replies, kneeling and grab the blonde man, setting him up in a sitting position.
Nawin points his index and middle finger at the man "Six Heaven Prison Rod" he utters, and six light beams form in existence and slams at the vampire's midsection, restricting his entire body. "Haven't seen you used that one in a while," Hana comments "With the level of opponents we faced now this technique will only hold them at bay for a minute to seconds... Opponents like Sayomi Dracul can break through them by batting an eye" "Ah, make sense..."
Nawin extends his right arm to the side and swings it forward to give a hard slap to the vampire's face that immediately snaps him awake. "Gahhh!" he screams in shock and looks around before turning forward to see Nawin "Bastard!" he swears, glaring sharply to try to intimidate but fails with the three looking at him stoically. Nawin gets up to his feet and crosses his arms "Who sent you?" he forwardly asks, "Go to hell," "We are in hell you idiot," Hana retorts, shaking her head "Shut up!" "Enough," Nawin inserts with a powerful tone that stops the bickering to continue. The vampire returns to look at him, his glare not lessens "You ain't getting anything from me, Black Flash" "Then we can do this the hard way."
The assassin suddenly grins in malice "I've sworn an out to the assassins, and I'm not breaking it. You will get nothing!" he shouts, then strange red marks start glowing around his body. Nawin's eyes widen, and he quickly turns around to grab Akame's wrist and wrap the other arm around Hana and Misako. The four disappears in a black flash as the vampire's whole body turn red and ignite in a sizable explosion.
Nawin and the girls appear a dozen meters away, safely away from the blast. Nawin, Akame, and Hana turn to the massive explosion, seeing it slowly disappear to leave a cloud of black smokes. "Should have seen that coming," Nawin utters, frowning "True assassins like them would die before ratting out any information" "So whoever was behind this really wanted you dead, Master" Hana state "Indeed."
Sighing, Nawin turns to Misako and gently picks her up, carrying her close to his chest. "There's not much for us left here. For now, let's return to Kuoh" he says, "I shall return to the familiar forest then," Hana state letting out a tired sigh "Alright," Nawin turns to her, smiling in appreciation "You've been a big help for Misako's training, Hana. Thanks, and go get some rest" "Hehe, no problem, Master. Glad to help and see you later!" she replies joyfully then turns to Akame to give a teasing wink "Bye, bye, Akame."
Nawin and his knight watch Hana's body glow brightly before disappearing, teleported back to her home. "Let's head home, shall we?" Nawin says, turning to Akame, who respond with a smile and nod "Sounds good," she says and grasps his shoulder before they disappear in a black flash.
Kuoh Academy
"No way, you cheated," Riser utters, a look of disbelief shows on his face and across the table shows Issei grinning giddily and holding a small paper that contains a phone number. "What's that?" Xenovia asks, bringing a chopstick full of fish meat up and puts it in her mouth "A girl's phone number!" Issei exclaims in pride, placing the paper down and takes a seat down beside Rias.
Currently, the group is seated in the cafeteria, having their lunch there. "What?" Kokoro place a cup of water down, her expression turns conflicted "No way you were able to get a girl's number here" "Always glad to have these lovely supports from you, Kokoro" Issei says, giving a blank stare at his Queen "Hey, I am just stating the truth here." "Yeah," Xenovia points the chopstick at the Hyoudou "No way that happened" "First off," Rias interject, turning to Riser "What is this about exactly?" "I challenged Hyoudou here to get a girl's number" "And I accomplished it!" Issei exclaims, smirking "Like I said I would" "Well I call cheat!" "Bah, you won't accept it! I have my charms."
"You cheated, didn't you?" Akeno speaks up "No I didn't, Senpai!" "Yes, you did," Rias joins in "W-what?!" Issei replies, getting a bit nervous when seeing his girlfriend examining him with keen eyes. "Issei, I've been with you long enough to notice these, and I know when you lie your right pinky finger would start twitching ever slightly" Rias state, and everyone takes a close look to indeed see the Hyoudou's pinky finger cocking around. "Hah!" Riser smirk "I knew it!" "No surprise," Koneko insert, shaking her head "Damn it!" Issei hangs his head low, a cloud of depression form on top of his head "I am actually kind of angry and happy that you notice it, Rias" he utters, causing the Gremary to giggle and tap his shoulder in a comforting manner "Now, now, don't be too sad."
"So how did you really get the number?" Senna questions, tilting her head in curiosity. "W-well..." Issei suddenly gets embarrassed, twirling his thumps around "I may... have used Nawin's name and t-told the girl t-that it was for him..." he answers. Everyone at the table looks at him with a dumbfounded expression, "Wow..." Riser shakes his head "That's just cheating all the way" "Such sadness," Ravel comment "Used the most popular person's name in the school to get a girl's number" Yuuto says, chuckling "In a way that is clever, Issei-kun."
"Guuh!" Issei shrinks in fear when noticing Akeno's dark stare aim towards him "S-sorry!" he quickly apologizes "Don't ever use my love's name for something like that again, understand" Akeno warns in sickening tone with a murderous smile that causes everyone at the table to shudder in fright "A-alright!" Issei says, nodding vigorously.
"So," Riser place the plate down to reveal it "You failed the challenge, Hyoudou... Like I expected" he asserts, looking at the boy across him while wearing a taunting smirk. "You know what!" Issei slams his right hand on the table and stands up, glaring at the Phenex with determination "I'm not giving up!" he says and points at the entrance door at the cafeteria "The next girl to enter through that door! I will go to her and get her number. You guys will see it in action."
Everyone blinks when seeing the door opens and in walks Akame. Issei's grinning face change to pale white in fear, staring at the stoic knight walking in and not long after, Nawin enters as well. Akeno's face brightens when seeing her lover same goes with a lot of other at the table.
The King and Knight didn't bother with fetching the food and instead had to the table where the rest of the group are. "Hey," Nawin gives a simple greet and takes a seat next to Akeno while Akame takes the other side next to her King.
"Hey, Akame," Issei calls, grinning charmingly and the Knight response with just turning to him "Can you give me your phone n-" "No," she shoots him down immediately. Issei drops to his seat, depress again while Riser sniggers in amusement.
Akeno immediately latches on the Makasha's right arm, resting her head on his shoulder. He responded with a warm smile and gave a kiss on the Himejima head before turning to the rest. "I expected more of a dramatic reunion" Kokoro inserts "We kept in contact by calls, so it's not like we were completely disconnected" Akeno answers brightly.
Rias wanted to ask where has the Makasha been and what he's done involving Misako, but she can't talk openly of this in the cafeteria and with Senna and Momo being at the table. "How's Misako?" she simply asks, "We wanted to visit, but her parents inform all of us that she left with you" Momo inserts, tilting her head "Does that means she's feeling better?" "Yes," Nawin answers swiftly, smiling in reassurance "Misako is doing wonderfully. I took her away in a bit of a trip to help her relax so when she gets back here she'll be a hundred percent" "Where is she then?" Wendy asks, still concern for her best friend "Misako is at my home resting right now. My mom and dad are looking after her. It's been a long trip getting back here" "Where did you go?" Senna asks, "A little town outside of Kuoh."
"Good to hear she's better," Rias says, smiling in relief "But," she looks at the Makasha, her gaze turn stern "You really should have informed us of this" "It was a last-minute decision and it was Misako's decision" Nawin replies "Oh, I see. Well, anyway I'm glad you are back" "Mm-hmm."
"So," Nawin turns to Issei "What's with you asking for Akame's phone number?" "Riser challenged me to get a girl's number" "Guessing it hasn't been successful?" "... Yeah, sadly." Issei sighs "Why though? I mean sure I had that reputation but it's not like I'm a huge pervert" "What are you saying?" Xenovia insert, raising an eyebrow "I have seen you staring at girl's breast at numerous occasion" "Hey! Not as bad as before" "Issei," Nawin speaks, sighing "For like the seven-minute since I've been here I've already caught you sneaking three glances at Akeno's breast."
Issei's expression immediately turns to fluster and receive blank looks from all the girls at the table. "Speaking of Akeno's breast," Rias turns to her best friends "What's up with them, Akeno? I swear they have gotten even bigger" "Ufufuf, perhaps because I've recently turn eighteen," the Himejima replies, giggling. Koneko, Momo, and Ravel look at the Queen's breast with slight envy.
"Those are becoming a deathly weapon for me now," Nawin state, looking down at his girlfriend's breast "I'm going to die by suffocation one of these days." Many at the table chuckle at the comment while Akeno sends a sultry wink "The bright side it provides a comfortable pillow" "Ahaha, it sure does."
Akame's face holds a warm smile as she glances at the interaction her king is having and sees him more relax currently, and his smile more genuine then it has been for a while. The whole time they were away he was always tough, even towards Misako, because deep down he wanted to push the Ichiru to the limit and quickly awake her powers. Seeing him relax now and laughing it brings her joy. Akame glance at Akeno, seeing that she's a big reason for her King's to be in this bright mood.
Time Skip: Makasha's Household
"Urhhh," Misako groans, opening her eyes and blinks at the blurring vision. She hears some news report from the background, possibly coming from a television. Slowly sitting up from the comfortable surface, Misako blinks once more and looks around to find herself in a familiar living room.
"You're awake," a soft voice says, and Misako turns to the right to see Yao sitting across the other couch, greeting her with a warm smile. Misako returns with her smile to the mother "Hello Miss Yao," she greets with a nod "Hello to you too, Misako. How are you feeling?" "A bit exhausted but other than that I am fine." Misako looks around the room to only see the two of them are present "Where's Nawin-kun?" "He dropped you here hours ago and head to school with Akame" "Ah, I see."
"I'm glad you are back," Yao says, pouring a hot green tea into an empty cup and push it towards the Ichiru "Your parents were getting worried." Misako graciously takes the tea and brings it to her mouth, blowing it a few times before taking a small sip. She brings the cup down and nods, smiling faintly with a small feeling of guilt glowing in her eyes "I know, but I thought it was best I left with Nawin-kun to train" "So you really join his peerage?" Yao asks, not showing much of a surprise by the fact "Yeah, I thought it was for the best for me" "If you truly believe that then there's nothing wrong with it."
Yao takes a sip of her tea before placing it back down on the table "So," she returns to looking at the Ichiru "The important question... How are you feeling now?" "Honestly," Misako remove her right hand from the tea's handle, looking at it and clench into a fist "I feel better than I have ever in my entire life. My body feels much stronger than ever before. The feeling of me walking in eggshells is gone entirely. I always used to be afraid of pushing myself too far, terrified one misstep could cause my sickness to resurface." Misako smiles in genuine happiness and looks up at the Makashsa "The past five days I have been pushed to the limit and see just how much stronger my body is, and I am so happy... I finally feel like I'm fully alive, Miss Yao."
The mother is surprised by such sincerity is heard from the Ichiru. She can see just how truly happy she is with her new life. Ignoring the fact that she is a devil and lives in a much more dangerous world compared to before when she was human. When seeing signs that her son has turned the Ichiru to a devil, Yas concerned that there could be a feeling of regret from Misako said. Now seeing this scene in front of her, noticing how genuinely thrilled Misako is with her new life, it brings great relief to the mother of three. Because she knows if Akira and Moka see how happy their daughter is with being turned into a devil, then they will be fine as well.
The two's attention turns to the hallway when a sound of the front door opens and in walks Nawin, Akeno, and Asia. "Ah," Nawin smile immediately when seeing Misako regain conscious "See you have awakened, Misako" "Hehe, yeah" the girl smile, scratching the back of her head and nod "Just ten minutes ago" "It's good to see you again, Misako" Akeno inserts. The Ichiru turns to the Himejima and offers a friendly smile "Thanks... Akeno-san." "You aren't hurt?" Asia asks, still concern for her friend. Misako giggles and brings her hand to gently pet the young Makasha's head "I am fine, Asia-chan, you don't need to worry" "Ah, good" the blonde sigh in relief and smile brightly.
Nawin stops beside Asia and offers his right arm forward to Misako "Let's take you home... We got some explaining to do with your parent" he said "O-oh," the Ichiru expression change slightly to nervous "R-right, I guess it is time." "Don't worry, Misako" Yao speaks up when seeing how anxious the young girl is getting "Moka and Akira won't be angry. When they see how happy and healthy you are they won't care about what happened. So, don't get anxious. They are your parent after all" she state, giving a reassuring smile.
The nervousness on Misako's face breaks when hearing the mother's speech and instead, a smile replace it. "Right," she nods and looks up at Nawin, taking his offered hand and allow him to pull her to her feet. "I'll be there with you too," he says "Thanks, Nawin-kun."
Misako heads to the front door while Nawin stop in front of Akeno to give her a quick kiss in the forehead "Sorry for leaving again but I'll be back quick. When I'm back we can relax together and catch up, alright?" he says "I understand, see you in a bit" Akeno replies with a smile, showing support and able to wait just a bit longer until the two of them have time together.
Time Skip
Currently, Nawin and Misako are walking toward the Ichiru Bakery at a moderate pace. Both are enjoying the calm silence that falls upon them. But, there is one thing clouding the Makasha's mind, and it is the recent attacked by the two vampires. He was contemplating to tell Misako about the incident but decided to go against the idea, not wanting her to know it yet solely because she isn't ready in battle wise. Having this knowledge will do more harm than good in the current moment. And thankfully, it doesn't involve her considering the vampires made it clear they were after him.
"Are you nervous?" Misako asks, glancing at her companion and sees him letting out a light chuckle by the question "Not really though I am prepared to get punch through a window" he replies. Misako giggles and smile "Oh that won't happen, I'm sure, Dad will be happy just to see us back" "Happy to see you back though not sure about me" "Hehe, it will be fine! I'll vouch for you, Nawin-kun" "Thanks."
Not long after the two find themselves in front of the bakery, and with taking a deep breath in, Misako pushes the door open and hears the bell rings to notify visitors or customers have entered the store. Both enter the store and not even a minute later, the large front window of the shop shatters from Nawin being sent through it before crashing on the asphalt outside.
"Dad!" Misako burst out from the door to quickly check on the groaning Makasha on the ground while Akira jumps out of the broken window and stump forward to the two, glaring directly at the boy. Moka exit the bakery in a more moderate manner not looking alarmed by the situation instead looks on in amusement.
"Nawin-kun, are you ok?!" Misako asks in concern, seeing blood dripping down from the Makasha's lip. Noticing the shadow over them, Misako looks forward, seeing her father standing in front of them with a dark look on his face. "Dad, that's enough!" she begs while Nawin slowly reopens his eyes and look up at the father. Akira, seeing Misako holding tightly on the Makasha's right hand, seeing the look of real concern on her face. "Huh," Akira's dark expression breaks and replacing it is a cheeky smirk "Don't get so worked up, Misako" he speaks and offers his left arm to the Makasha "Just one punch should suffice for taking her away from us without even leaving a note, you idiot" he comments directly to Nawin.
Taking the older man's hand and pull up to his feet, Nawin nod while releasing the hand "Yeah, I should have left a note... Sorry to make you two worry" he apologizes to the parent. "As long as you learned your mistake," Moka says, stopping beside her husband, wearing her ever kind and warm smile "The important thing is you brought our daughter back and," she turns to look at Misako "From what I'm seeing, she is doing much better compared to the last time I saw her."
Akira stares hard at his daughter, clearly notice that she is different from before. She's now much stronger in stance-wise, and her eyes show confidence that is absent from the past. Her body looks sturdier, and words like frail and weak can't be used to describe her anymore, it is clear what Nawin did to make this possible.
"So, Misako" Akira starts, catching his daughter's attention "You decided to turn into a devil?" "Yes," she answers without hesitation "It has been something on my mind for a while... I never brought it up to you or mom because I was scared of your answers. But, seeing how I was back then, in that hospital bed... I knew turning to a devil is the only way to go for me now. I can't keep struggling anymore, Dad, Mom." Misako turns to Nawin, smiling brightly "If there's anyone I trust that will do good by my side through this process it would be Nawin-kun... Without question" she says which cause the Makasha to smile.
Akira crosses his arms, and a faint smile form on his face, hearing how sincere those words came from his daughter's mouth, he can finally rest easy. The same can be said to Moka, who's smile widen. "Very well," she says, nodding and turns to the Makasha "Nawin, please look after our daughter and continue to do good by her side" "We trust you so never give us reason to doubt that, alright?" Akira warns "I won't, I promise" Nawin replies.
Nawin opens his mouth, about to speak but halts when feeling his mind being invaded, sounds of the outside goes deaf. 'Nawin-kun,' Rias voice speaks, and2 the seriousness in her tone is immediately taken to note by the Makasha 'Yes?' 'I need you to come to the Occult building immediately. An urgent matter just appeared' 'Ok, I'll be there in a sec' 'Alright.'
"Something the matter?" Misako asks, noticing her King went silent for a minute "Yeah," Nawin turns to her "Rias just informed me that I need to head to the Occult building" he replies. "Well," Akira cocks his head in the direction of the school "You should head out then, sounds important" "What about me?" Misako asks, "You stay here," Nawin firmly inserts with a smile "You've been doing nothing but train for the past five days so right now you just relax and get a full recoveree. Also, just spend time with your parent" "Alright" Misako nods and gives a wave "See you later, Nawin-kun" "Yeah."
With a nod to the parent, Nawin steps back and disappear in a black flash, his destination to Kuoh Academy.
Occult Building
When Nawin appears just in front of the Club Building, he immediately notices the number of familiar magic signatures inside. Rias, Issei, Akeno, Koneko, Gasper, and Riser are present in there. But, what catches his attention are the two unknown and strong signature that is also inside. One holds much more power than the other.
With eyes narrow and guards up, Nawin grabs the door handle and push it open, entering the building. Walking to the living room, Nawin sees Rias sited at her desk with Akeno beside her. Issei and Riser lean on the wall while Koneko and Gasper occupied the couch with the visitor seated across them. The whole air around the room is quite tense, matching with many of the expression from the group.
Nawin turns to their visitors, and his eyes instantly change to red, a frown forms on his face. "Vampires..." he mutters, staring at the pale individuals with bright red slit eyes. The first person is a young girl with a doll-like appearance. She holds long wavy light blonde hair, deep red eyes with slit pupils, pale skin tone that is a signature of vampires. She wears a red dress similar to princesses in the middle age and has an ornamented head-dress. The second person is a tall, beautiful man with beautiful flowing dark blonde locks that reach past his shoulders, sharp facial structure, sturdily built body, piercing red slit eyes, and pale complexion. He is dress in a black button-up shirt, dark red-wine slacks, and a brown combat boots.
"Finally, you have arrived," the woman speaks in an arrogant tone, looking extremely impatient, clicking her tongue in annoyance "I expected a more professional individu-" a sound of a loud crack appears and everyone freeze in surprise when seeing a large basketball size hole made on the couch, narrowly missing the woman's head by a few inches.
The blonde woman starts sweating, and she gulps by the hole before shakily turning back to Nawin to see him giving a dark glare. "Don't piss me off" he utters slowly and straightforwardly that immediately silence the woman while the male vampire stares cautiously at him.
"Nawin-kun," Rias speaks up in a soft tone "Please settle done and take a seat." The Makasha just nods and walks toward the couch and takes a seat beside Gasper. "Please refrain from speaking so rudely to my friends," Rias state, her tone grow colder as she turns to the visitors and sees the woman gives a stiff nod.
"Alright," Rias rest her arms on the desk, looking at the blonde woman "Now that everyone is here. Please introduce yourselves first" she request. The woman nod and looks at around "My name is Elmenhilde Karnstein. Proud member of the Carmilla Faction" "My name is Andrei Bogdon. Member of the Carmilla Faction and proud Guardsman to our Queen."
'Guardsman?!' Rias repeats in her mind, surprised by the man's title 'To be one of the few selected guards for the Queen... He must be a powerful individual.' "Alright, I've already introduced everyone in this room, and Nawin-kun doesn't need one considering I am positive you two are aware of his title by now," Rias says and gets a stiff nod from the woman.
"Then please continue with what you told me" Rias start "You are in require of assistance and went to my brother then he redirected you to us, correct?" "Yes," Elmenhilde gives the nod, holding both her hands together. "Please continue then," Rias says "Currently the two factions of Carmilla and Tepes are in near war state. We are one step away from a civil war, and our Queen doesn't want such an event to come to pass. Things have escalated to another level when Valerie Tepes has been kidnapped" "W-what!" Gasper shouts out, startling everyone.
Noticing all eyes are on him, the Dhampir quickly goes silent and instead look down, gripping his skirt tightly. Elmenhilde stares for a moment in knowing before continuing "Searching the scene, it was cleared that she was taken by the Tepes Faction. Back to her brother, Marius Tepes who is the current Leader of the Tepes Faction after he overruled his father by coup d'etat. Marius then executed his own father along with his older brother. With him, ruling tension between the two factions has escalated ever since."
"What is a Tepes doing in Carmilla faction, to begin with?" Riser question "Valerie, like your friend here" Elmenhilde, turns to Gasper "Is a Dhampir, so she wasn't exactly liked by her peers. She was an outcast and after being locked up in the Tepes Castle for most of her earlier years. She was able to escape and seek shelter which led her to our Queen, who welcomed her with open arms."
Rias listen carefully to every word then opens her eyes, looking at Elmenhilde "With this being the case, why would Marius want Valerie back? Seeing that she isn't wanted" "I don't know the full detail, but our Queen gave a vague answer saying that Marius wanted Valeria for her powers. It is a matter you have to learn from our Queen face to face" "Valerie holds a special ability that only a selected few hold knowledges of" Andrei inserts, finally speaking up.
"Then what exactly are you requiring from us?" Rias asks "Assistance to end this war before it starts. Carmilla Faction doesn't have numbers to match Tepes so if a war does break out it will be an utter slaughter for both sides. But the chance of Tepes winning is high. Especially with this new gain of Valerie Tepes in their side."
"Do you have a plan?" Rias asks, "It is something you'll have to bring up with the Queen" "Awfully vague considering you are asking us for help" Akeno inserts. Elmenhilde's expression hardens "It is necessary if you choose not to help us. Where's the guarantee for us if Marius come to you for assistance and you know of our plan!" "You bring up a good point," Rias insert, not wanting an argument to break out.
Rias was about to continue but halts when Gasper suddenly stands up and gives an unexpected bow that directs toward her. "Buchou, p-please help them!" he begs, shocking all "Please s-save Valeria! S-she's my dear friend." "G-gasper" Koneko utters in surprise while Rias's eyes soften when seeing the boy is shaking, clearly showing signs of nervous of her answer. Understanding how important this is to Gasper and holding knowledge that her brother redirects this quest to them because of his trust in them, Rias can't just ignore this.
Smiling, Rias nod "Alright, Gasper" she speaks, causing the boy to look up "We'll help rescue your friend and," Rias turns to the two vampires "Stop the civil war from breaking." Gasper smiles in joy and feels a warm hand grasp his shoulder, making him turn to see it is from Nawin, who gives a comforting smile "We'll do our best to save her, Gasper... I promise" he says which makes the young Dhampir's smile widen.
Rias notice Elmenhilde getting out a very faint and secretive sigh, looking relief by the answer. Rias turn to everyone in the room and nod in satisfaction, finding that all the individuals here will be fitting for the mission. "Riser, will you join us?" she asks her friend "Why not," he replies with a shrug "The normal life is getting a bit stall, so this mission should bring some entertainment" "Alright."
Rias gets up and turn to the vampires "Shall we depart immediately?" "Yes," Elmenhilde nod, standing up along with Andrei "Time is at the essence." "Where will we be heading?" Issei asks "Romania, there is a special gateway that will take all of us to the vampire world" "Vampires live in a different world?" "It is similar to Shigemi's system, Issei" Rias inform "Oh, I see."
"Gather around," Andrei request, readying the teleportation. Everyone starts moving to the center of the room to get in the teleportation range. Akeno notice Nawin isn't joining them and instead stood by the doorway "Nawin-kun?" she speaks "You guys go first, I need to go fetch Akame" he replies "I like to bring her along for this." "Considering the situation, we are dealing with, Akame's stealth skills will come in handy" Rias utters in deep thought before giving the nod "Alright, you should go fetch her for this mission."
Andrei turns to the Makasha "If you aren't joining us then I'll have to give the precise location to meet us" "And that is?" Nawin asks "Come to Transylvania... The Gateway is there." The Makasha goes silent for a moment when hearing that name but gives the nod nonetheless "Alright, I'll see the rest of you there" he says then disappears in a black flash.
Elsewhere
"Huh," Raynare watch an amusing smirk cross on her Mistress's face while reading the letter she has given her. "If I may ask, what does the letter say, Mistress?" Raynare asks in a respectful tone "The newly Leader of the Tepes Faction has extended his invitation to me" "Reason?" "He doesn't say. Raynare, isn't the Carmilla and Tepes currently at civil war?" "They are, and from the last report, I've heard it will break out into a full war soon. He could be requesting for assistance" Raynare insert "That is the possibility... Like I would even help with such a stupid task that has no benefit towards me."
Sayomi clench the paper to cause it to erupt in pink flames before she tosses it away and watches it turn to ashes. A dark smirk form on her face "I would rather see both those pathetic factions die. They are all a disgrace to vampires... Calling themselves Pureblood and sully that name. All those nobles are nothing but aristocrats who believe they are Pureblood."
Raynare watches her Mistress stand up from the throne and start descending the stairs. "Mistress?" "I've been meaning to see this world that the vampires have secluded themselves in. Now is a better time than ever" Sayomi state, stopping beside Raynare. "Also," the Pureblood smirk "There is a place I've been meaning to visit for a while" she utters.
Sayomi glance at her subordinate "I'll be gone for a while, so you shall take over here, Raynare" "Understood, leave it to me, Mistress" the other replies with a respectable bow. A doorway creaks into existence and opens wide enough to become a passage, Sayomi turns and start walking towards it. "How are you planning to get there?" Raynare asks in great curious and sees Sayomi stop and glance back, a smirk shows on her face "Transylvania" is all she says before entering the portal which promptly causes it to shut from existence.
