Once again thank you for always being patient!

Hope everyone enjoys this latest chapter! ^.^

It is late at night in the bustling city of Tokyo. Capital of Japan. It is truly a magnificent view when looking at it from a distance. Seeing all the various colors of lights shining from the billboards and skyscrapers. Thousands upon thousands of pedestrian marching through the streets in their daily routine of returning home from work. Cars are waiting for traffic lights to turn green. Trains are speeding through the city on the railway system.

Shifting to one of the busiest districts of Tokyo, the Ginza district. Heading deeper into one of the smaller and quiet streets in it. Commotions can be heard in a small apartment called Nakago. Sounds of screaming and thrashing emit from the sixth floor.

"Please don't take her!" a Mother begs from the top of her lungs toward the two men in black suits. Stood between the mysterious looking individuals is a young and beautiful teenage girl. Tears can be seen dripping from her black eyes while her right arm is stretched forward to her Mother on the floor. Her other arm is held by one of the men. The man grunts in annoyance then pull the teenager toward him. "No! Leave me alone!" she snarls and turns around to slap him, but the other man acts quickly and catches her by the wrist.

"D-don't do this! I'll p-pay you back!" the Father begs by the doorway. His face is smeared in blood by the broken nose and cuts given from the men in suits. "You keep saying that, Komino-san" the taller man release the teenager to turn around, facing the Father. The other man is able to successfully restrain the thrashing teenager with a handcuff.

"Our boss won't tolerate excuses anymore. He shall take your daughter as payment now." "Komino! Don't let them take our daughter!" the Mother cries for her husband to do something. "N-No," Komino forces himself to his feet and grasp a cooking knife laid on the kitchen counter. He glares at the men. "You won't take our daughter!" "I suggest you chose your next action wisely, Komino-san," the tall man in suit state with a sharp tone, staring daggers at the Father behind the shades.

Komino shifts to his daughter and stares at her bloodshot eyes. Fresh tears are still flowing down from them. Those once beautiful and bright black orbs now hold nothing but terror and worry. 'It's because of me... I've caused this.' Komino glance at his wife on the floor and see a noticeable handprint on the right side of her face. These animals dared hit his wife, and now they are going to take his daughter.

With anger boiling in his heart, Komino breaks into a sprint toward the tall man while thrusting the knife forward. "I won't let you take her!" "Fool," the man pulls out a pistol with a suppressor and fires a single bullet. "NOOOOOO!" the daughter screams in horror when watching the projectile go straight through her Father's head. His legs immediately stop, and he drops dead to the floor. Blood gushes out of the hole on the forehead.

The Mother covers her mouth with her hands while staring in mute at the corpse of her husband. His dead eyes are staring directly at her. "K-K... KOMINOOO!" she cries out in hopelessness. The tall man turns around and knocks the daughter out with the pommel of the gun when seeing she was ready to scream. "Let's leave," he declares, putting the weapon away while the other man silently nods.

With the men in suits already left minutes ago, the Mother simply remains on the same spot, crying her heart out. Unable to coop with what just transpired. "P-please! Somebody he-help me!"

The older woman removes her face from her hands and begins dragging herself across the floor. She can't find it in herself to stand from the shock. She reaches over and grab's her husband's shirt. Wrapping the right arm around his neck, the woman buries her face onto his unmoved chest and cries. "H-honey, w-what should I do?! T-they have our b-baby girl."

With the woman crying in despair, she fails to notice a brownish pamphlet stuck onto a board in the kitchen. The Gremory's Insignia on it shines in crimson for a moment before it fades away.

Next Day: Kuoh

A week has passed since the battle with Ivory. Nawin has taken Miraya's advice to heart. With a week of stepping back into the Supernatural World. He was able to balance between that life with his human life. It was different from before as Miraya is a big part of his life. And she's entirely human who is unaware of the Supernatural World. Nawin would spend time with her almost every day. Even if it can only be for a short time. He would take it without a second thought.

It can be overwhelming for a person. Juggling between two different lives. But, each time Nawin completed a contract and received smiles from people. Innocent gifts from children along with their beaming grin. He was anything but happy. If it wasn't helping the people in need. He would be spending time with Miraya, Akeno, or his other friends. Nawin was able to always find joy and content from both sides.

Rias and the group noticed this new change in their friend. They, of course, supported him and occasionally would remind him that they are willing to lend a hand if things ever got too much for him. Seeing how hard Nawin works now after just returning reminds everyone why they hold so much respect and admiration for him. Not many can be in the Makasha's shoes and make it work. But the group knows one thing. The reason Nawin can work with this new lifestyle has a lot to do with Miraya. She gives him the strength and determination to make it work. Though it is not only her. Nawin is surrounded by people that heavily supports him. Akame, Misako, Hana, Wendy, Senna, Momo. These girls are almost always with him if he isn't busy with other tasks. They helped brightened his day.

Rias, Issei, and the rest of the group are also always there for Nawin. Spending time with him after or during school. Even with this new lifestyle. Nawin still finds his days content with where he is. The doubts from that night have become nothing but a speck of the past.

But the bright days can't continue eternally. As good things will eventually come to an end as it is said. What Nawin will fail to foresee is that a single truth can turn his world upside down and cause a change that'll shake the entire supernatural world.

"So, let me get this straight," Riser points the plastic fork to Issei, who's seated across from him "You decided to hand the contract over to Rias when it required you to go into a haunted mansion?" "Yes!" Issei replies with the same answer for the third time. He's glaring at the big-grinned Phenex. "There were ghosts in there! No way in hell I'm doing that" "Psh, wuss. Afraid of puny spirits," "Shut it!"

It is currently lunchtime in Kuoh Academy. For a rare occasion, Issei was able to set the time for him and the boys to have lunch together. He decided the best place for them is in the courtyard. Seated at one of the many wooden tables that are spread throughout the school. Fortunately, the one they occupied is located under a large tree which hides them from the gleaming sun.

The only reason this kind of an occasion is rare is that Nawin would mostly always get dragged away to the rooftop by either Misako or Senna. If not that, then Akeno would take him so they can have their private lunch session. Luckily, for today at least, Issei was able to snatch his best friend before any of the girls got their hands on him.

"You have a small pair of balls, don't you?" Riser continues to egg the Hyoudou "Probably like your dick." Seated next to Yuuto and silently eating his chicken sandwich, Nawin lets out a quiet sigh as he begins to wish that he'd spent lunch with Akame and the girls. At least with them, there would be fun and normal conversation compared to the one that's currently in front of him. "Bet yours isn't much impressive since Rias was really against marrying you," Issei fires back with a decent counter. Yuuto was watching this with mild amusement while Nawin remains quiet.

"My manhood is like life!" Riser exclaims with a smug grin "It's always hard!" "And like life it's short," Nawin decides to intervene "Now move onto the next topic, or I'm leaving this table." Issei and Yuuto sniggers at the comment while Riser glares at the stoic Makasha. But he decides not to push on as he preferred to have his friend here. Even though he wouldn't admit it out loud.

"How have your contracts been, Nawin-kun?" Yuuto asks before taking a drink of a bottle of iced green tea. "They've been good. No weird ones. I honestly haven't accepted any high-rank ones yet. I have just been doing ones that are set in the human world." "Why is that?" Issei asks, slurping down ramen he got from the cafeteria "I'm taking it slow on getting back to the Supernatural world life. After what happened with Ivory. It's best I take things gradually before the next significant threat arrives."

After the last week meeting with Rias. The others were informed of the event after Rias received approval from Nawin. She'd preferred that her friends aren't kept in the dark. All of them didn't give their opinion on the matter as they perceived it was a sensitive subject by the tone Rias used when she told them. Even with the knowledge of that, everyone continued to treat Nawin normally.

"By the way where's Miraya this morning?" Issei asks, placing the chopsticks down and grab the bottle of water "She usually walks to school with you in the mornings." Nawin claps his hands together to get rid of the remaining crumbs. "She's currently out of town. Left last night." "Did something happen?" Yuuto blinks "No, no. She simply said she wanted time alone. A room of breather" "So she's sick of you?" Riser jabs in and quickly get a smack on the head by Issei "Oi! Don't be a dick!" "Grghh, I'll burn you!"

As the two boys start going through another of their bickering, Yuuto shift to Nawin. "Is she ok? That's a bit sudden of her to just up and leave" he asks in a kind and gentle tone "Don't worry, Yuuto" Nawin gives a reassuring smile "I get why you think it is a bit weird for Miraya to do that. You know, it isn't like before. I now have you and the rest as friends. So, it's different from the past, she now doesn't have to fret about leaving me alone. If she wants some time to herself, then I will respect that. Being honest, I think it will do some good for her. The past couple of weeks has been crazy," "Ahaha, that is true. Did she invited you to tag along?" "She did... But taking that offer could lead to some trouble." "Yeah, understandable."

The last bell of the day rings to signal the students that school is officially over for the week. All the students can now look forward to the weekend after another week of long studies.

"Another damn test for next week?" Nawin's rest his face on the palm of his right hand, groaning in annoyance. Standing in front of his desk is Sona, who is looking on with slight amusement twinkling in those violet orbs. "You've been doing exceptionally good with your great for the last couple of months, Nawin-kun. Don't let the streak end," she states in her ever tranquil tone.

Sighing, Nawin leans back on the chair and looks straight at the Sitri. "You are encouraging me to beat you again like last time?" Nawin asks with a hint of taunt in his voice. Rias stop beside the Makasha and giggles when seeing Sona's eyebrows twitching slightly by that comment. "That was a fluke!" Sona reply, flustering "Every other time it is a draw!" "If I remember correctly... The score right now is 7 to 7. So, with his latest win, Nawin-kun is at a draw with you, Sona" Akeno stops beside the desk and gives a teasing smirk to her friend, "You better score higher with next week's test to get the upper hand."

Sona wears an unamused look when seeing two of her childhood friends backing the Makasha. Clearly, all in favor to tease her. "We shall see," she states before shifting gaze to her watch "I'll need to head to the clubroom now. Take care, Rias, Akeno, Nawin-kun." With done exchanging farewells, Sona takes her bag and exits the room.

"Do you and Sona hangout much, Rias?" Nawin asks in curiosity, "Of course. We usually have our afternoon snack on Saturdays in our favorite dessert store. It's been our tradition for years now," Rias happily answers, pulling the school bag to her right shoulder, "I see. That's good to know." Akeno raises an eyebrow "Are you worried for her?" Nawin shrugs before standing up and sling his bag over his right shoulder "She always seems to be working. She's basically the principle of this school." "Aww," Rias grins and reach over to pinch Nawin's cheek "Sona would be blushing if she heard that you are so worried over her!" Nawin rolls his eyes at the Gremory's comment while Akeno simply giggles.

Soon the three left the classroom. When exiting the building, Rias split with the couple as she has a date with Issei afterschool. With Asia already having plans among Koneko, Gasper, Ravel. And Lucy decided to stay behind to finish the weekend's homework with her friends. Nawin and Akeno are left together to walk back home.

Even after reconciling last week over their fight. The pair has been able to enjoy each other's company again without much negatively in the air. But it would be a lie to say all is well. One thing that Akeno promises to Nawin that she will try to do is to get along with Miraya. But, with the single time, the three hung out during the week. That day ended up being Nawin spending most of his time trying to start the conversations between the two more than anything else.

Miraya tried to talk with the Himejima with the occasion raised, and the two would have a few exchanged, but that's how far it would go. Nawin sees that being even near Miraya was a challenge for his girlfriend. It was like the Miraya and Akeno are the complete opposite of one another. The Ying and Yang. Unable to be in the same room together.

Nawin noticed that Miraya was not overall happy with Akeno's attitude and her short replies. And Nawin can tell that Miraya wanted to say something to Akeno. To give some advice or reassurance but she held it back to save it for a more suitable time. It was an exhausting day that day for all three of them.

Nawin could see that Akeno was trying to be communicative with Miraya. So, he can't fault her on not trying. But any time he and Miraya would crack a joke that made both of them laugh. Akeno would shift uncomfortably and look at them with a sense of worry and anxiety. Truthfully, when Nawin sees the way Akeno would act around Miraya. It reminded him of the way she acted when Sayomi was with them in Brasov. And that fact is something he just doesn't know how to process.

But Nawin wasn't going to give up. When Miraya returns to Kuoh. He wants to set a meeting with only the three of them. He wants Akeno to pour out her feelings and worries to Miraya. Hopefully, with a heart to heart talk shared between them. It will fix this problem because, at the end of the day. Nawin simply wants his lover to get along with his childhood friend. He wants the two people that he cares very dearly to be friends.

"Ahhh!" Akeno plops on the bed and moans in joy. Nawin drops his bag by his desk and smile at the Himejima rolling around childishly on their comfy bed. Clearly, like him, she's looking forward to a couple of days of no school. "Got anything thing you want to do?" Nawin asks, unbuttoning the shirt before taking it off. "How about doing you?" Akeno gives a coy remark when eyeing her lover's exposed torso. Nawin simply chuckles at the reply and throws the school shirt into the laundry basket.

Even though the pair have been together well over half a year. Nawin and Akeno have yet to engage in any sexual activities. Which would astound many considering how flirty and affectionate Akeno can be around her lover. The couple never truly brought the matter up. Akeno has said that when they do have their first time together. She wants it to be as special as possible. Nawin agrees with her choice, and truthfully, he wasn't eager like normal teenagers. When the time comes, then he will gladly lose his first time to Akeno.

"How about we relax for now and go out to eat for dinner?" Akeno suggests, "Hmm, that sounds good" Nawin nods at the idea "What are you craving for?" "Sushi?" Akeno replies, sitting up, "You can never go wrong with Sushi." Nawin heads to the bathroom "I'm gonna take a shower first" "Sure! I'll find some movie for us to watch before heading out" "Mhm-hmm."

"You know... One day I think you will buy the entire store," Issei comments walking through the street of the center of Kuoh while carrying two large cloth bag that holds dozens of Manga. All of them are either new series or a continuation of one. Rias is walking at the right, grinning like a child that just got their favorite toy.

"I mean I could," Rias state, showing she doesn't mind making that decision at all. "But I'll wait to make such a purchase until we have our own house" "And when is that?" Issei asks, raising an eyebrow "When I graduate. I'm planning on staying in Japan for a long time. My parents aren't planning on giving up their position as Heads of the Gremory anytime soon." "Ahaha, your enthusiasm is lovely, Rias" "Ehehe."

Issei shifts his sight forward to stare at the place he sees as his home. He has grown up and lived here all his life. But he knew deep down that one-day Kuoh can no longer be his home. He will live past all of the people that they walk past. He will outlive the children that were just born at this very second. In the end, Issei knows he will have to reside in the Underworld in the far future.

"What are you thinking off?" Rias asks, noticing the strange look in her lover's eyes. "The future," Issei gives a short answer, but it was enough to pique the Gremory's interest. She raises an eyebrow, "Thinking of what you are going to do after graduating?" "Ahaha, far from that." Issei gives a gentle smile "I was actually thinking of the day when we will have to leave Kuoh permanently. I know that we can't stay here forever considering how slow we aged" "You aren't wrong," Rias gives a small solemn smile "It will raise many suspicions if we overstay in one place."

"Does... Does the future frighten you, Issei?" "You are worried that I will have regrets?" Issei answers with a question, knowing that tone Rias just used. A smile of guilt form on the Gremory's beautiful face. "You had to worry about Nawin over that, Rias. But you won't have to with me." Rias shift to the side to see the Hyoudou's bright grin "Me becoming your pawn is one of the best things that has ever happened in my life. Right there with meeting you. Whatever hardship, I will have to face in the future... It will be all worth it knowing that I have you by my side."

Rias's eyes shine in relief as a beautiful and beaming smile spread upon her face. In a burst of joy, she bounces and hugs Issei's right arm. "Ahahaha, I am so happy to hear that!" Issei chuckles and gives a quick kiss to his girlfriend's head "I love you, Rias" "I love you too, Issei."

Whenever it was just the two of them, Issei makes it upon himself to be considerate and mature. For Rias's sake. He never wants to embarrass her publicly by doing something childish or perverse. Even though the latter has been something, he has slowly become to detach over, unlike his former best friends. Even now, Matsuda and Motohama still cause a ruckus around the Academy over their antics.

Being around people like Nawin, Akeno, Yuuto, Asia, Kokoro, and the rest has shown Issei just what having friends are genuinely like. Once he was simply a scapegoat for Matsuda and Motohama to use whenever their antics went south. Now, he has amazing friends like Nawin, who he knows genuinely cares for him and would always have his back no matter what.

In his heart, Issei would not change a single thing that has happened so far this year. And he hopes things will continue to get even better from here on out. For him and his loved ones.

"Thanks for the meal." Issei and Rias immediately stop at once when hearing a familiar male voice from behind. Both turn around to see Nawin and Akeno exiting from an expensive looking restaurant. The building is made entirely out of wood, but the old fashion style of it brings a ray of luxurious. Rias has seen it before and knows it is one of the best sushi bars in town.

"Rias?!" Akeno calls out in surprise by seeing her friend. Nawin remains composed as always. He gives a simple nod to Issei, who returns it with his own. "I see you two are also having a little date of your own?" Rias says with a grin, seeing the pair are holding hands. "You can say that," Akeno gives a joyful smile "Having a little getaway to some delicious sushi."

Nawin blinks when noticing the bags on Issei's hands. "Another round?" he asks with a deadpan tone, "Yeah," Issei chuckles "Another round." "Hey! Don't wear that look!" Rias points at the Makasha, "I am a collector!" "You are a poor soul suffering from an obsession with Japanese culture, Rias." Issei and Akeno sniggers at the reply while Rias puffs her cheek like a child.

"Let's start heading home together then," Issei suggests "Considering we practically live next door to each other" "Su-" Nawin sudden pause gets everyone's attention. His expression suddenly shifts to sharp. Rias notice some light from the corner of her eyes and look down to see the Makasha's jean pocket is glowing in faint crimson.

Rias glance around to see there's none nearby. She looks forward, "Contract?" "Yeah... And," Nawin's eyes currently shows mix emotions "It's a big one. Desperate... The person really wants help." Akeno gives her lover a concerned look. "Do you want me to accept it in your place?" she offers, "You don't have to do it if you don't want to, Nawin-kun."

Akeno's offer didn't come as a surprise to the Makasha as he has accepted it a couple of times this week. In truth, both Akeno and Akame have taken over some of the big contracts he has received during his return from hiatus. Even though he personally doesn't want to start on them yet, he wasn't going to leave the summoner to fend for themselves.

But, this one is somehow different. Nawin brings his right hand out of the pocket and stares at the glowing Gremory emblem on the top of the hand. He can't explain it, but Nawin can almost feel the summoner's desperation seeping from the seal. Something in Nawin's heart tells him this contract holds some level of personal for him. Could this be a sign for him to completely step back and take a dangerous contract?

"Nawin-kun?" Akeno calls out, "Hmm?" Nawin blinks and looks up to see the worry looks he is getting from the three. "You won't have to." The response surprised Akeno along with Issei and Rias. "You are taking it?" the Hyoudou asks, "Yeah," Nawin gives a reassuring smile, "I think it's time. This one feels... different."

Releasing Akeno's hand, Nawin takes a few steps back. "Are you sure?" Akeno asks with a step forward, not giving up on the idea of taking over for her lover. Nawin provides a warm smile to comfort her "No need to worry, Akeno. Don't forget," he gives a wink, "I am the Black Flash." With those words said, the Gremory emblem appears from the bottom, and Nawin teleports away in crimson light.

Rias stop beside her friend and place a comforting hand on the shoulder. "Don't worry too much, Akeno" "I know. I just hope he will do well mental wise. I worry that he may get reckless when angered" "He promised us he will be more level-headed from now on. Trust in him" "Yeah," Akeno gives a brighter smile, "You're right."

Tokyo

When opening his eyes, Nawin is greeted with a drabbed looking apartment that is barely lit. Some lights are definitely shut for reasons unknown. He shifts his sight down to notices a boy no younger than him is bowing just a few feet away. His head touched the ground as is his fists. The summoning pamphlet can be seen laid in front of the human.

"He-" "Oh Sir Devil! Please help us!" the teenager suddenly shouts with his face still facing the ground "I will give you anything! Money! Fame! B-blood! I-If needs b-be even a c-corpse." Nawin sweatdrops as the boy continue to babble out of nervousness no doubt.

"Listen," Nawin's raise his voice to get through the human and fortunately, he stops with his rambles. "Are you going to look at me?" the unnamed boy is still facing the ground. "W-would that be ok?" he nervously asks "..." Nawin resists the urge to facepalm when hearing the fear in those words. "Look, I'm not some red skinned tone thing with black horns protruding from his forehead. Just face up."

With a bit of hesitance at first, the teenager finally brings his head upwards and takes a full look of the Makasha. A gasp can't help but escape the human's mouth when seeing the person standing in front of him. He looks completely normal. An attractive man was the furthest thing on his mind when he planned on summoning a devil.

"Y-You're a devil?" the boy asks as he slowly raises up to his feet. Nawin gives a quick nod as confirmation. "B-but you look so human?!" the human quickly gasps in shock when the Makasha's eyes flash in red. With how dim the room is, that change was very noticeable. "Can a human do that?" "N-no."

Nawin takes a moment to examine the appearance of the person that summoned him. He is an ordinary looking teenager with average height. He has short scruffy jet-black hair and thin-frame physic. Nothing special about him to say the least.

"Now," Nawin's eyes sharpen "Tell me what the problem is? Judging from your outburst in the beginning. It sounds important," "Y-yes, it is." A look of anger and sadness appears on the boy's face. "T-they... My girlfriend has been kidnapped" "By who?" Nawin asks, "By an infamous gang called Jaakuna Shi (Wicked Death)" a new voice enters the conversation.

Nawin shifts his head to the right and sees a middle-aged woman stepping into the living room. The rough state of the woman immediately catches the Makasha's attention. Unkept and wild black locks. Dark bags underneath the blood-shot eyes. And the noticeable purple bruise on the side of her face. The immense emotion of desperation and sadness in those brown eyes was hard for even Nawin to look. He can tell the two people in this room are still shaken with what happened.

"And you are?" Nawin asks the woman in a gentler tone, "I'm Koha Tatami... Aiko's Mother." Mentioning her daughter's name is enough to have the Mother let out some tears. "Aiko is your girlfriend?" Nawin shifts to the teenager "Yes. I'm Hiroto by the way," he adds. "...One thing," Nawin insert, wanting an answer to a question that's plaguing his mind ever since he got here. "How did you gain that specific pamphlet?" "Oh," Hiroto scratches the back of his head and blinks "I-I got it while Aiko and I were traveling through Kuoh. We visited there about a month ago for vacation" "I see. So that explains how you got ahold of one."

The Makasha was ready to continue until an unmistakable metallic scent hit his nostril. His eyes narrow when catching a smell of blood. The Iris suddenly shift to red. Koha gasps in shock at this while Hiroto sweats a bit by the intimidating look. "There's no need to worry," Nawin speaks, maintaining a soft and gentle tone "I'm just checking the room. There's a scent of blood here."

Nawin walks over to the front door, stopping beside Koha. He notices the floor by the kitchen. Even though it's been wiped off, Nawin can still see traces of blood, and the stench of it is still very noticeable when near. "What happened?" he asks, glancing at the Mother "W-what do you mean?" Koha replies, a bit nervous near the Devil. Honestly, she still stunned to comprehend that the person next to her is a supernatural being. When Hiroto brought up about using the pamphlet Aiko got to summon a devil, she thought he simply snapped and went mental.

"Koha," Nawin speaks as his expression soften, his eyes return to brown. "I can't help to the best of my abilities if you don't tell me everything. I know all of this is a shock. But, right now isn't it wise to have your mindset on finding your daughter?" Hearing the sincerity in the Devil's tone and the warmth in those brown orbs. The Mother is able to take a few breathers and calm herself. She gives the nod. "Y-yes, you are right. I-I'm sorry, Devil-san."

Nawin simply gives the nod. "Now, what happened?" "The blood there belongs to my husband... H-he was killed yesterday trying to stop them from taking our daughter." Nawin's eyes widen ever slightly by the new information, but he still maintains his composure. "Why have your family caught attention from such an aggressive mob?" "As you can see, Devil-san," Koha gives a sad smile "We aren't a wealthy family. Debts come knocking on our doors. My husband and I cherished Aiko so dearly that we were scavenging money and working overtime to get enough money to have her enter a prestigious college. Aiko is a wonderful girl. She's smart, helpful, and kind. She works two part-time jobs just to help us with our debts. But... It just wasn't enough. The time for Aiko to enter a college was approaching, and in desperation, my husband went to borrow money from one of the mob members that he had known through a friend."

Koha begins to tear up and sniff. "A-Aiko was supposed to be attending college next w-week. S-She worked so hard to get accepted. W-we thought they'd give us m-more time. I-I imagined we'd be saying goodbye to our little girl soon as she heads to college. S-she was so excited." Hiroto comes over to comfort the Mother while Nawin remains silent. Even with a stoic expression, inside the Makasha was anything but indifference. He is irate that these gang barged in here and destroy the life of an innocent family in one fell swoop. They took advantage of the family's desperation, and when seeing they made a bad investment, they try to destroy their livelihood without hesitation.

Nawin opens his mouth to speak, but he stops when hearing pairs of footsteps from the floor's hallway. "Hiroto," "Yeah?" the human looks up to notice that sharp eyes on the Makasha "Did you call the police on the case?" "Of course, I did!" "I see... That explains why they are here." Koha and Hiroto gasp in shock and not a moment later, a knock appears from the front door.

Before Hiroto and Koha could speak, Nawin brings his index finger near his mouth to signal them to be quiet. Seeing that the pair listened to his command, Nawin heads toward the front door and grabs the knob, twisting it over to open the door. He swings it over enough only to show himself and not Hiroto and Koha.

The people stood in front are two men dressed in a black and white suit with a pair of shades over their eyes. Nawin raises an eyebrow at the well-dressed men, not expecting that from a group of criminals. One of the men frowns slightly at the appearance of the Makasha. 'This doesn't match the description of the boyfriend. Is this his friend?' "Who might you be?" "Depends on why you are here." The response surprises the criminals slightly, though they didn't show it.

"I suggest you take your leave, boy. For your own good," the taller man warns, showing venom behind that cold tone. Without a word, Nawin steps forward to the hallway and shut the door behind him. He looks at the men with a steel gaze. "I'll make this clear to you two bastards. I'm not going to allow you to harm this family anymore. Now, I suggest you tell me where the girl is. For your own good."

The three stood there still for a moment, but the air around them immediately turns heavy when those words left the Makasha's mouth. In a quick motion, the tall man pulls a suppressed pistol out and aims it at the head. Nawin quickly reacts and snatch the head of the gun with his right hand while thrusting his left palm to the man's wrist to disable the gun from the criminal's grip. In a blink of an eye, Nawin now holds the firearm and have it held straight at the face of the stunned man.

"Taking my threat seriously now?" Nawin asks the stunned men. But the taller one recomposes himself. "Acting tough will get you in trouble, boy," he remarks, believing the youngster in front of him is nothing but a bluff. Tilting his head, Nawin shifts the gun to the right and pulls the trigger to shoot the second man in the head. Effectively killing him in an instant. The tall man is frozen in place and can his partner's body crumble to the ground with a thud.

Shifting the gun to the man's face. Nawin's expression remains sharp. "Do I look like a clown now?" Pinning the barrel right at the criminal's forehead, Nawin asks the question again in a deeper tone "Where is Aiko?" "I-I'm merely the deliverer" the man finally answers, "You aren't part of Jaakuna Shi?" "No, they hired us to capture the girl. T-they wanted everything to be kept in the shadows."

Nawin pushes the gun forward which forcibly send the man stumbling backward until his back hits the wall. "Then tell me where I can find the Jaakuna Shi?!" "I-I don't k-" the man didn't get to finish his word as Nawin pulls the gun back and hit him on the side of the head with the butt of the weapon. The criminal falls to the ground while the shades worn over his eyes drop to show the terrified light-brown eyes.

"Want to say that again?" Nawin asks with a venomous tone, aiming the gun right at the man's face. There's no ounce of mercy exuding from him. "T-there's a warehouse not far from here! I-I heard it is run by the Jaakuna Shi. Perhaps y-you'll find some answers there!" Nawin's piercing gaze glares through the man's core "I-I had one of my men tailed the contractor, and it led him to that warehouse! I swear! It's east from here n-near Kojunsha Dori Street."

Getting everything that he wanted, Nawin lowers the gun but still keep a firm gaze at the man. "Tell me one more thing... Did you kill Aiko's father?" The criminal gulps as cold sweat drip down his face. In the act of desperation, he reaches over to his partner's corpse and pulls the other pistol from the blazer, but Nawin swiftly reacts and fires another bullet that connects to the back of the man's skull, killing him instantly.

"Not like you were going to walk out of here alive, bastard," Nawin utters and destroy the gun using his mana. The weapon shatters into black shards, which slowly disappear from reality. Kneeling to the ground, Nawin places his hands on both the corpse and teleport them away to the pocket dimension for later disposal.

With business in the hallway dealt with, Nawin returned to the room to check on the pair. "Are you ok?!" Hiroto quickly stops in front with an anxious look, inspecting any wounds around the Makasha. "I'm fine," Nawin replies, raising his right hand, "I've dealt with them." "You killed them?" Koha asks from behind Hiroto. "Yes," Nawin reply without hesitance "It's either that or they'll come back and finish you two offs as they did with your husband. I can't allow that... I refuse to bring your daughter back to corpses" "I-I... I understand. We are in a grave situation," the Mother replies with great sadness.

"A-are they still out there?" Hiroto asks, afraid to even mention the word 'corpse'. "Don't worry. I teleported their bodies away. Anybody walking down that hallway now would be none the wiser" Nawin state, which brings some relief to the pair. "Now, to the important matter," Nawin's gaze sharpens "I learned that the people that took Aiko are nothing but a third party that was hired for that task. They aren't part of Jaakuna Shi" "Seriously?!" Hiroto shouts in astonish "Yes. Clearly, these Jaakuna Shi are smarter compared to the gangs I have dealt with in the past. Your husband really borrowed money from the wrong people, Koha" Nawin state, glancing at the Mother, who can only give a stiff nod as a response.

"What is the plan now?" Hiroto inquires, "I was able to get some information out of them. There seems to be a warehouse at east from here that belongs to the Jaakuna Shi. I'll go check it out and see if I can find any intel on Aiko's whereabout." "W-Will you be ok?" Koha asks, showing a shocking genuine concern for the Devil. Nawin gives a soft smile "I'll be fine" "Yeah," Hiroto insert "He is a devil, Koha-san! He can use magic and stuff" "Not exactly," Nawin state, confusing the two.

"I do possess tremendous power, but when it comes to contract like this, it is wise of me not to use them" Nawin inform "W-what?!" Hiroto throws his arms in the air, "Why?!" "Because using magic recklessly will risk revealing the supernatural world. And to my people that is taboo. It is a law created by the three faction leaders that human is not to know of our existence. I'm positive that when you were ready to summon me, you heard voices that gave you a warning on this matter, yes?" "I-is that true, Hiroto?" Koha asks, "Y-yeah... Now that you mention it. The voices warned that if I were to reveal about the supernatural world existence, there would be great consequences" "And that is your death" Nawin assert, shocking the humans.

Hiroto takes a step back in disbelief. "S-seriously?!" he shouts "That why it's taboo on both ends. Human breaks it, then it is their death. If a Devil breaks it, later they'll be sentenced to a gruesome punishment that's best left unsaid." "How horrid," Koha utters with both hands over her mouth "That's how it is and trust me," Nawin cocks his head to the side "It's best that way. You two don't realize just what kind of chaos would rain if humans were to become aware of the supernatural world. This rule protects both your realm and theirs."

"Now," Nawin turns around and head for the front door "I shouldn't waste any more time. I'll be heading to that warehouse." "W-wait!" Hiroto speaks up, and Nawin glances back, "Is there anything I can do to help?" he asks, "I am Aiko's boyfriend!" "Hiroto," Koha whispers, smiling with pride at the boy's action.

Nawin stares at the teenager for a moment before bringing his right arm up. "Pass me your phone," he requests. Hiroto blinks but does as told and hands over his phone to the Makasha after unlocking it. After a minute, Nawin passes the phone back "That's my number" he says. Hiroto looks at the screen then back up, smiling "Ah, that's a good idea! In case I get in trouble" "No," Nawin retort "In case you and Koha have trouble. You are staying here to keep her safe. If anyone suspicion come over, then give me a call, and I will return here," "What?" Hiroto sighs with disappointment, "That's all I can do?"

Nawin turns around and opens the door. "You think Aiko will be happy returning with another member of her family killed?" the Makasha's words stun Hiroto "Protect Koha. Bring some joy to Aiko when I return her here… I'll bring her back, I promise." With that said, Nawin exits and shuts the door.

Koha wears a warm smile by the Makasha's word. For once in this bleak time, she's able to hold hope. She shifts over to see Hiroto staring at the door before he shifts sight to his phone. Her smile grows when seeing that fire in his eyes.

A black taxi stops in front of Kojunsha Dori street. The area is only moderately busy during the late hours. "Thanks for the ride." Nawin exits the car after paying and shuts the door. He watches the taxi take off to the main road before shifting sight to the brightly lit street.

Nawin finds it a bit surprising that a criminal would have one of their hideouts to be in a rather rich street. Luxury brands shops can be seen all over the place, which no doubt garner the wealthy. "Not exactly a secluded area. Why would they have a warehouse that no doubt does illegal business to be set in such a bustling street like this?"

Not wanting to waste any more time, Nawin enters the street and begins to explore the area with keen eyes. Trying to find for any sort of clues that will help him lead to this warehouse. Stopping at the light, Nawin perks up when hearing some commotion from the right. He shifts gaze and heads over there to investigate.

Following the noise led Nawin in front of a mysterious alleyway. It looks utterly out of place compared to the rest that the bustling and glistering street has to offer. It is placed between two small bars and unlike the rest of the street. There are no lamps there to shine some lights.

A sound of glass shattering rings from the darkness followed by some light cussing. Nawin picked all that up. "Must be in there." Glancing around his surrounding, Nawin notice there are barely any people in this side of the area. It seems this specific location is for a shadier and more secretive crowd. 'Could this area be controlled by the Jaakuna Shi?' that thought rolls through the Makasha's mind, finding that to be quite possible. This specific criminal mob seems smart. Which could indicate they have some leverage and wealth. This gang is entirely different from the ones Nawin usually would deal with in the past or in Kuoh. The Jaakuna Shi is no street rats.

Taking the first step into the alleyway, Nawin smirk when hearing a footstep from behind and not a second later, he feels a handgun set on the back of his head. "You must be new here, kid," a rough and deep voice spat "One of those guys that acting tough? Wearing a classy leather jacket and all black." "Turn around," the man orders and Nawin does as told to see the gang members appearance.

'Quite a well-dressed organization,' Nawin notes, looking at the full-set black suit the gunman is donning. Though the man's face is anything but good looking. There's an ugly scar across his rough forehead. Cuts on his dry lip. Bald with weird tattoos on the sides of the head. With his appearance alone the Makasha can tell this man is a member of the Jaakuna Shi.

"Have anything to say?" the man asks with a snarl "Aiko Tatami," Nawin answers with a sharp voice, knowing no ounce of fear by the gun aimed straight at his face. "Aiko?" the brute repeat "Oh, you looking for a girl?! Ahahaha, she's probably sold out to some buyer by now." Nawin's eyes narrow at this new fact, and his expression turns cold.

With a disgusting grin, the gang starts to pull the trigger, but Nawin quickly counters by kicking him in the right shin that sends him down on one knee. "B-bastard!" the man brings the gun up to fire only to receive a full right knee to the face that sends him tumbling back to the ground. Nawin bends down to grab the simple pistol, it didn't have a suppressor, but he still points it at the face of the gang. "W-wait," the man begs but a sound of a gunshot boom around the area, resulted by Nawin firing a bullet straight through the criminal's forehead.

Lowering the gun to his side, Nawin turns around and march into the alleyway with haste. Emerging from the narrow passage shows a vast land that's just hidden behind other buildings. And at the center of that land shows a clean warehouse. No doubt this place has recently been built.

Sticking to the shadows, Nawin notices a few guards patrolling around the building. 'I'll take them out first them before heading in.' Holstering the gun by in his jean, Nawin sneaks to the closest guard on the right that's currently taking a smoke by a tree. When right behind the target, Nawin stands up and gives a precise chop to the back of the man's neck, effectively knocking him out.

Watching the man fall to the ground, Nawin notices a revolver rest in the right hand. He bends down to take it then move onto the next target. The Makasha makes quick work of the three guards. When it is in the dark, not many can match him in combat or stealth. Instead of outright killing them, Nawin simply knocked them out. Even though these are heartless crooks, he rather sends them to jail for their crimes then personally kill them.

Leaning on the side of the building, Nawin quickly hides behind when a door opens. One man exits with a pack of cigarettes in his hand. Before he could take the next step, a right fist comes from the right and smash on the side of his head which sends him blasting to the ground, unconscious. With the door still in the process of closing, Nawin is able to sneak in the warehouse without any suspicion.

When entering the building, it becomes very obvious what its purpose is. "Arms trafficking," Nawin mutters, noticing a group of workers uploading guns into dozens of crates. Each crate holds a specific kind of firearm. Gang members are all over the place to survey the workers, and no doubt to keep them in check.

The warehouse was very spacious to show it is still quite new. But there are already stacks of crates filled with weapons placed on the back of the building. Ready to be transported when it is time. 'Seems like the Jaakuna Shi is a big organization. Arms trafficking and from that guy said they must also be dealing with the sex industry.' Nawin's eyes flash in red out of anger 'Aiko... I hope I'm not late.'

"Alright, snowflakes!" a middle-aged man with gray hair, dressed in a red suit stop in front of the workers. He wears a cocky smirk. "The Boss wants the next batch to be out of here by tomorrow! So you all better complete today's task soon or I'll make an example out of another one of you!" The Workers flinch at the threat and quickly return to their task.

Nawin's eyes set at the man in a stupidly vibrant suit. Seeing that he is the key to gain relevant information. 'Better take out the guys on the upper floor.' With a glance at the second floor, Nawin disappear in a black flash and reappear behind a guard. He quickly discards him by chocking him out and gently set him on the ground. Unlike the ground floor, the second level is nearly pitch dark to no doubt fool any attackers that were to raid the warehouse.

Seeing that he has the opportunity to use his power without being noticed, Nawin won't hesitate to do so if it makes quick work of things. 'Not exactly gonna pull crazy stunts like you, Big Boss,' Nawin utters in his mind with a smirk, thinking of one of his favorite fictional characters. He disappears again and finishes off five other guards on the second floor in under a minute.

Nawin stands on the edge to see the gray-haired man relaxing on a chair while continuing to bark threats at the workers just to get a reaction. "Ah-ah!" a thirty-year-old woman trips over some screws and collapse, dropping five rifles held on her hand. "Eh?!" the gray-haired man gets up, and in a fit of rage, he kicks the chair back before marching toward the shaking woman.

"The fuck is wrong with you!" the criminal snatch the woman by her black locks to pull her up. "I-I'm sorry!" she begs then gets a swift slap to the side of the face as a response. "Stop!" one of the workers step forward only to get shot in the chest by one of the guards. "Ahhh!" the others scream in fright, watching one of their friends collapses to the ground. Blood quickly begins leaking around the corpse.

"Ahahaha!" the gray-haired man laughs manically then snarls at the cowering workers "Anyone else wants to be a hero?!" A sudden sound of gunshots explodes from above, and the man sees two guards from the sides drops to the ground. He blinks and looks up to see Nawin drops beside the workers. "Hero is not what you'll get tonight," Nawin utters and draws the revolver to unload another two shots. The bullets narrowly pass the older man's head and hit the guard from behind in the shoulders. Another guard comes sprinting toward Nawin from behind, but he is taken down swiftly when the Makasha shoved the revolver back and fired two shot that hits the chest and abdomen. He executed that without shifting his eyes away from the gray-haired criminal.

Nawin throws the now empty revolver to the ground which causes the criminal to grin and pulls out a double barrel shotgun from behind. But, before he even has the chance to aim, two bullets come from ahead and penetrate through his thighs. "Gaaaaah!" he screams in agony and instantly collapses forward to the ground. Grunting, the man shakily looks up to see Nawin holding a standard pistol in his right hand. Those piercing brown eyes glaring into the criminal's blue orbs

"Unfortunately for you. A Devil has decided to come knocking on your door," Nawin utters in a cold voice. The man swears then tries to bring the shotgun up only to have it send blasting away from his grasp when Nawin fires another shot that perfectly connects to the barrel of the shotgun.

Stopping beside the older man, Nawin brings his right feet down on the chest while holding the gun down to the face of the criminal. "Where's your boss?" Nawin asks with a tone that leaves no room to beat around the bush "One single bullshit from your mouth, and I'll shove this pistol in and blow your brains out."

Looking into those brown eyes, the criminal can tell there was no bluff in those words. With fear evident in his face, he decides to answer the question with truth. "I-I don't know w-where the boss i-is... B-but!" he quickly shouts when seeing Nawin begin pulling the trigger "I know where his son is! He will know where his father is!" "... What does the son do?" "H-he deals with sex work! Works with prostitution!" Nawin's eyes widen slightly by this new information.

"Where is he?!" Nawin shouts and adds more pressure to the man's chest "G-gaah! I don't know where he is currently, but I do know he will be in a club called Red Spiral tomorrow night!" "Red Spiral?" "Yes! It is a nightclub that he opened a year ago!" with the information he needed receive, Nawin takes his feet off the man then pull the trigger to put a bullet through the criminal's skull.

Dropping the gun to the side, Nawin turns around to see all the workers are looking at him with shock and curious expression. He offers a faint smile while putting the gun away. "You are all safe now. Please leave here immediately." Those words stun the workers. One of them steps up, "Really?" he asks and gets a nod in response. Nawin turns around and walks toward the massive front doors of the warehouse. Stopping next to it, he brings his right leg toward to kick the doors open. Nawin turns around and gestures the workers to move. "Come now! All of you leave! I'm planning on calling the cops to this place."

Not needing to be told the second time, the workers all quickly rush out of the warehouse. Lots of them thanked the Makasha on their way out. He simply returned with a smile. A few minutes later, the warehouse is now empty. Nawin glance at all the criminals littered throughout the floor. Excluding their Boss, all of them are alive. Some in worse shape than others.

"Hm," with a hum, Nawin turns around and makes his own exit from the area. He pulls out his phone to dial the police before resting the device on his right ear.

When seeing the cops arrived at the warehouse, Nawin noiselessly departed from the crime scene and now finds himself strolling through a part of Ginza called '2 Chome'. An area packed with upmarket boutiques, large malls, and expensive restaurants. It is gone fully night, which leaves the entire street glistening with vibrant colors from the billboards and LED screens on the buildings. The Makasha never thought a mere street can be this pretty.

Stopping by the pedestrian light, Nawin wait among the crowd for it to turn green. With him currently dressed in his battle attire, it comes as no surprise that curious glances are thrown at him. When the light turns green, everyone crossover. Nawin follows and keeps his eyes straight forward.

Then, Nawin's entire body comes to a stop as if in instinct. His eyes find themselves shift to the right, and it widens when making contact with those unmistakable blood-red orbs. Standing there and just a few feet away from him is none other than Sayomi Dracul. Dressed in rather casual clothes that helps her blend in with the crowd. A short red jacket with a dark mauve crop top that leaves her slender and tone belly exposed, a white skirt with a leather belt, knee-length brown boots, and a gold necklace.

The pair stand there still while the crowd simply walks pass them to get to the other side before the lights turn red. "S-Sayomi," "Nawin," those words leaves both their mouths at the same time. The Dracul is the first to snap out of it and sees the light is about to change. She steps forward and takes Nawin's right hand then drag him to the side he was heading.

Finding a quiet space beside a sushi bar, Sayomi releases Nawin's hand and swiftly turn around to face him. She wears a sharp look. "What are you doing here?" "On a contract," Nawin replies, rubbing his shoulder by getting pulled around so forcibly. Sayomi raises an eyebrow in amusement when seeing this. "Sorry about that. Got too excited" "It's fine."

With a sigh, Nawin releases his shoulder then sends a curious look to the Pureblood. "What's more surprising is that you are here. Reason?" Sayomi crosses her arms under her breast then release a tiresome sigh "Nothing too special, I assure you. I am simply here to relax. Get away from that foolish and irritating brother of mine along with my two latest associates."

"Ivory and her friend giving you trouble?" Nawin asks, and that angry tone did not go over the Pureblood's head. "Calm down there, my dear" Sayomi retorts "I won't be used as an outlet for your misplaced anger. Believe it or not, I had no idea of that ploy of theirs. And if it makes you feel better, I have already thoroughly taught them a few lessons as I find the method they used to be sickening and pathetic."

Nawin couldn't hide the look of surprise on his face. He didn't believe that Sayomi would do such a thing. "I'm not an anarchist, my dear. Humans that uses the supernatural for requests is one thing, but plain humans are entirely a different story. So... You won't have to worry about that girl being a target." Discovering that Miraya won't be on the radar of the most powerful person he knows brings great relief within the Makasha.

"Sorry... For getting angry at you all of a sudden," Nawin apologize "It's fine." Sayomi wears a smirk "You can make up for it by buying me dinner" "I already ate." That didn't stop the Pureblood from taking his hand and sets out the street. "Never stopped you in the past." Nawin is surprised by that comment. He stares at the beautiful woman for a moment before moving forward to walk by her side. Sayomi glances over and gives a dazzling smile. Nawin returns it with a faint one.

Time Skip

It is still jarring to Nawin that he finds himself encountering Sayomi in Ginza of all places. It would be a lie to say he dislikes it. At the end of the day, Nawin still wanted to know more about Sayomi. Their relationship is one of mystery. And in his gut, Nawin believes that this complicated relationship between him and Sayomi holds a significant impact on his life. Such an impact that even his own parents still keeps it quiet for all these years and the reason for that continues to be a mystery.

Nawin knew demanding answers from his parents will be fruitless. He can see it in their eyes. They're stood firm on keeping whatever secret surrounding him and Sayomi close to their chests. And that fact, even though Nawin doesn't show it, it is eating him up inside whenever he thinks about it. What could it possibly be that even his own parents need to keep it hidden from their own son?

"If you are done pouring our water, then would you get lost already? Keep staring, and I'll be shoving my right boot down your throat." Nawin blinks and catches the young waitress hightailing away from their table after getting threatened by the Pureblood. "What she do?" Nawin asks, shifting gaze across the table to look at Sayomi, who wears a small frown on her face "The bimbo was gawking at you... To an annoying degree."

Hearing that, Nawin can't help but crack a smirk in amusement. "Oh, wipe that smirk off your face," Sayomi retort, not sharing the feeling "It really bothered you?" Nawin is abruptly caught off-guard when the Pureblood stands up and leans over to stop right in front of his face. She gives a vexing grin, "Wouldn't want some lowly bimbo's scent to taint yours, hmm?" Nawin backs away slightly as a noticeable blush forms on his cheeks. He glances away and doesn't reply. Sayomi smirk and returns to her seat. Satisfied with the cute reaction she got.

With a snicker, Sayomi rests her right leg over the left while crossing her arms. "Now, tell me, my dear... What kind of contract are you on? Must be unique to drag you all the way to Tokyo." Not really seeing any harm on telling the Pureblood, Nawin openly explains the situation he is in. In detail and from beginning to end. In truth, he finds it hard in himself to even think of lying to the Pureblood. Especially after those words, she uttered to him in their previous encounter. 'Because... I would never lie to you.' That comment is just another thing to add in their complex relationship.

When done explaining about the contract, Nawin is taken by surprise when noticing those blood-red eyes sharpen in subtle anger. He did not anticipate that reaction. Sayomi sees the way Nawin is looking at her and quickly compose herself. "Sounds like you're dealing with some shitty people, my dear" she states, cocking her head to the right to look out the window at the vibrant street. "Yeah," Nawin nods "But that's why I'm going to save Aiko" "Even if you have to kill humans?" "My hand is already stained with countless blood, Sayomi. Killing sick criminals like the Jaakuna Shi is not where I will draw a line... Even if they are human." Though Nawin didn't catch it as he takes a sip of water, a noticeable emotion of sadness twinkle in the Pureblood's eyes for a moment by his words.

Nawin gently set the glass down and notice that Sayomi has gone silent all of a sudden. He looks at her and sees she's merely gazing out of the window with glossy eyes. For a moment, he almost believes tears were going to spill from those gorgeous red eyes. "Sayomi?" "Hmm?" "Are... Are you ok?" that question has the Pureblood turn forward to look at Nawin. She gives a small smile, "I could be better, my dear."

Not long after their ramen arrived. Nawin and Sayomi ate their food in silence, but it was not one of tension but instead somber. Nawin tried to start a conversation, but words would get stuck in his throat. Every glance across he took, Nawin feels his heart for some reason aching when seeing a look of almost grief in the Pureblood's face. It was so different from the expression she would usually wear. He wondered if it was something, he said that made her like this.

"... Sayomi," Nawin finally speaks when the two exit the restaurant. The Pureblood turns around to face him. "In the past, have I done something that hurt you? My past may be unclear, but If I did, then I sincerely apologize." Nawin gives a bow which stuns Sayomi. "No," the Pureblood whisper "You have done no such thing, my dear." Nawin stands straight to see a small smile on Sayomi's face "You have never done anything to hurt me."

Hearing that brings a surge of relief in Nawin's heart. He was about to speak until Sayomi takes his hand. "Come, let's find a place to stay for the night," "P-pardon?!" "Hmm?" Sayomi raises an eyebrow, "You fancy sleeping on the streets" "No, but we?" "I did come here to unwind, my dear. With you here, I'm not planning on leaving just yet" she states with a wink before moving forward. Instead of resisting, Nawin simply let the woman guide him.

Finding a motel was harder than expected for the pair as lots around the area were either full or booked. After over half an hour of roaming around, they finally found one with a few rooms available, but there is one problem.

"The rooms that are available are for couples?" Nawin asks once more and receives a confirmation nod from the receptionist. "Is that a problem?" the middle-aged-woman asks, looking at the pair "Aren't you two a couple" "Not exactly," Nawin reply "Though we have shared a couple of smooches," Sayomi adds in with a coy smile. Nawin sends a glare back at the smirking Pureblood while the receptionist quietly giggles.

With a sigh, Nawin glance at his watch to see the time just hit 11oclock. He was honestly exhausted and rather not wander around again to find another place to stay. Rubbing his forehead, he gives the nod, "Fine, put us in a room," "Which of the three themes would you like?" "I don't care."

Sayomi decides to step in. "He always gets grumpy when he's tired," she informs then look down at the screen on the counter that shows the three available rooms, each with different themes. Horror, hearts, and oddly enough middle age. Not to make things too awkward for Nawin, Sayomi picks the horror theme.

With the key in Sayomi's hands. The pair heads up the stairs to the third floor and enters their room. "Wow," Nawin looks on with slight amusement at the dark room. Red neon lights shine above the spacious room. The walls are entirely black. Some admittedly high-quality Halloween theme decoration is spread throughout. There's even a plastic pumpkin lantern place by the king-size bed. The blanket colored dark blue with images of bats.

"Huh," Nawin smirk, stopping by the bed, "I think I may have found your favorite blanket, Sayomi." The Pureblood drops the key by the table and rolls her eyes at the jest comment, "Very cute, my dear."

With things settling down, Nawin takes a sit on the bed for a moment to take his shoes off then the jacket. Rolling it up, he sets it on a chair then heads to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. "Ahh," sighing in content, Nawin rubs the towel to dry his face before exiting the bathroom. "... What are you wearing?!" those words explode from the Makasha's mouth when seeing Sayomi seated on the bed. Dressed in a white satin lace trim chemise that shows more skin than he would prefer. The Pureblood's bountiful and beautiful breasts and supple thighs can be seen in a fair view. Her soft silver locks flow down onto the bed and match pleasantly with the color of the nightgown.

Sayomi raises an eyebrow in amusement by the flustered reaction from the Makasha. "I've only brought this piece for my sleepwear, Nawin" she simply states, "Then wear the one that the motel offers" "Nope." Nawin's eyebrows twitch at the simple and straightforward reply. He knew he's fighting a losing battle and rather not risk annoying the Pureblood.

With Sayomi getting underneath the blanket, comfortably resting on the bed, Nawin makes his way to the large couch and lays on it. He didn't bother with a sheet considering he loves the cold. It would take a lot for him to need a cover. Resting his head on the soft cushion, surprisingly, Nawin finds the couch quite comfortable and release a pleasant sigh.

"What are you doing?" Nawin opens his eyes by Sayomi's sudden question. He blinks while staring up at the ceiling. "Sleeping?" "I know that you dummy. But why are you all the way over there?" "Seems right I sleep on the couch while you have the bed." Sayomi opens her eyes and sits up, looking over to the Makasha with a frown. "Get off there and sleep on the bed. You'll hurt yourself sleeping on that couch" "It's comfortable," "You move in your sleep, Nawin" "..." Seeing that the Makasha has gone to a silent route, Sayomi gives a blank stare at his childishness.

Nawin's eyes snap open when he feels a sudden jerk of movement. He blinks when noticing the ceiling is moving. "Gah!" Nawin yips when the couch turns over and drops him down on the bed. With a grunt, he sits up to see Sayomi is controlling the sofa with her telekinesis. She places it back onto the ground next to a window.

"Now," Sayomi wears a stern look "Get under the sheet and sleep, my dear." Nawin scratches his head for a moment before exhaling in defeat, "Fine." With that, Nawin pulls a blanket over himself and sleep on the right side, keeping a respectable space from the Pureblood while facing the window. Sayomi stares for a moment before a gentle, beautiful smile form on her face. She lays down on her back and shuts her eyes. "Goodnight, Nawin." Those words cause the Makasha to reopen his eyes in shock. For some reason, those words said by Sayomi in her rare soft and soothing tone brings an immense emotion of joy and warmth within him. It sounded so nostalgic as if she had said those words to him countless of times before he had to bed. With a soft smile formed on his face, Nawin replies, "Goodnight, Sayomi."
