Hi Everyone! First, I wanted to say thank you for all the kind and supportive comments left in the last chapter. It really brings me joy that many of you enjoyed that special chapter! After all the buildup and hints planted throughout the previous arcs, to have that reveal finally happening was a big deal, and I wanted it to be as perfect as possible.

Second, this chapter definitely took a while as much stuff has happened recently that kept me busy, so I wanted to thank you all for being patient!

Now, without further ado! Here is the latest chapter!

"W-what is this?!" the middle-aged man with short grayish hair dressed in a white doctor's coat snaps to the young Nurse, who also wore a look of disbelief. "When did you discover this?" "J-just a moment ago before you walked in, Doctor. I-I came h-here to check on her before she was to be taken away."

Both eyes turn back to look at the young woman laid in the clean bed. Once, the corpse of Miraya Coldus now shifted to Sayomi Dracul. A drastic and unforeseen change that left both humans in the room stunned beyond words. "I-I," the Docter, unable to even find words walk forward until he stops by the side of the bed. "She looks healthier... B-but, her skin is even paler than before."

"I-Is she alive?" the Nurse question, stopping beside the Doctor though kept a few paces back. She can't help but feel slightly afraid by this unnatural event. "I-I mean... Is she even the same person?" "I don't think so," the Doctor utters, "This person looks to be older. For heaven's sake, her hair is silver while the patient was dark purple!" "But then what is going on?" the Nurse grip tightly at the clipboard in her right hand "Miraya Coldus is proclaimed dead. She remained in the morgue for five days after the family said their goodbyes. She is supposed to be burnt today. H-how can a random person suddenly be here?" "Where is the family?" the Docter asks, glancing over to the Nurse "Out of the country," "What? They weren't planning to be present for the cremation?" "No... When they were last here, the Son was in a hysteric condition. The poor boy was extremely traumatized over his friend's death that the Mother was forced to take him away. The Father told me that they'd be leaving Japan for a while for their Son's health."

The Doctor gives a silent nod and takes a step forward. His eyes narrow in intrigue when noticing something inside the corpse's mouth. Bringing his right hand up to open the lip, the Doctor asks a casual question. "What was the Son's name? I think I saw him. Cute, black hair, and big brown eyes?" "Y-yes," the Nurse nod. "That's him. I believe his name was Nawin Makasha."

When his fingers were inches away, Sayomi's eyes snap open, and it glows brilliantly. Gazing to the Doctor, the pupils sharpens. In the next second, the man's midsection is slice in half. Blood explodes from the severed torso and waist as the dislocated corpse plummets to the ground. "Kyaaaaaa!" the Nurse screams in horror and collapse backwards to the hard and cold ground.

"N-Nawin," Sayomi coughs out in a dry tone, ignoring everything in the room and looks at her shaking hands. A memory of Nawin's sobbing face resurface. Remembering him crying for her before she passed away, her heart finally lost the battle and stopped. Leaning to the right, Sayomi collapses to the floor, landing on the pool of fresh red liquid. Her mouth begins to water by the scent of blood entering her nostrils.

Hearing whimpers, Sayomi looks up to see the frozen Nurse. The human gasp in fright and quickly crawls back until she hits the walls, shaking by those glowing gaze resting on her. "Y-you," Sayomi lifts her right arm to point, it still shaking from exhaustion "N-Nawin... My dear," she coughs out and glares "Where... Where is he?!" "I-I," the Nurse couldn't answer slightly because of her pounding heart, she is utterly paralyzed in fear. It only further brings terror to her when seeing the Doctor's dead eyes staring right at her from his severed torso.

Sayomi cuss and push her frail body to stand, but even though she managed to get one knee up, she ends up collapsing forward once more to the puddle of blood. Her once clean and white hospital gown is now splattered with the thick, red liquid. The Nurse quickly raises to her feet, seeing a window to escape from this monster crawling towards her, she turns around and rushes towards the door.

"D-don't leave!" Sayomi shouts and drags her body forward with her arms, "T-tell me... WHERE IS MY NAWIN!" "GAHAAAAH!" the Nurse screams in pain when her right foot is suddenly severed from the leg. She drops face-first onto the cold floor and continues to cry in pain as blood begins dripping from the open wound.

When Sayomi suddenly reaches the whimpering human, she kneels by the side and snatches the woman's neck with the right hand. "N-Nawin Makasha," Sayomi whispers out, "Please tell me... Where is he?" the Nurse is shocked by the sudden begging tone coming from the woman above. "I-I need to see him... He needs to know I am fine... He is hurt and crying," Sayomi whispers in a broken tone as that image of Nawin's sad and broken-hearted face continues to haunt her mind.

"I-I don't know," the Nurse speaks out clearly as the grip on her neck is firm "All I know is that t-they left the country." Anger flashes in Sayomi's eyes by the answer she received. "So... You don't know. He is gone. Yao and Jonathan took him." Sayomi grunts in pain as her grip on the Nurse suddenly releases. The overwhelming scent of blood around the room continues to hit her like bombs. Saliva starts escaping from Sayomi's lip and trickles down her mouth.

Sayomi's eyes begin to shake in a frenzy, and it snaps down to the Nurse, who whimpers in fear by the look. "I-I haven't drunk in so long..." Sayomi whisper to herself as a big and predatory grin spread around her lip. "N-No," the Nurse whispers in horror, shaking her head. "P-please, don't!" Sayomi couldn't hear those words as her mind only had one thing on it. To quench her thirst. Opening her mouth to show those two horrifying fangs. Sayomi snaps down and chomps down on the woman's neck. "GAAAAAAAHAAAAAHHH!"

"… Uh!" Sayomi's whole body jolt as her eyes snaps wide in shock by the dream. The very dream that has haunted her for so long and woken her up in countless nights. Feeling a warm and gentle breeze hitting her chest, Sayomi looks down, and her beating heart instantly soothes. A warm and loving smile spread upon her lip as she stares down at the slumbering Nawin laid right beside her. She held him close by the neck while his left arm is wrapped firmly around her slender and expose hip.

"That dream will be the last," Sayomi tenderly whispers and leans down to plant a kiss on Nawin's forehead. "I'm finally with you, my dear... No more unclear pasts that put a wedge between us." Carefully untangling herself from the Makasha's grasp, Sayomi slides to the edge of the bed and settles her feet on the carpet before standing up. She remains entirely nude as both she and Nawin had fallen asleep after sharing a passionate night. Taking their virginity from each other. Remembering that special moment brings a smile to the Pureblood's face.

Making her way to the bathroom to wash her face, Sayomi squeaks in shock when a hand snatches her wrist to pull her back into the bed. "Wow," a deep chuckle emits, "I didn't know you had such an adorable squeak, Sayomi." Opening her eyes, Sayomi sees Nawin above and smirking coyly down at her. "I really let my guard down with you," Sayomi reply with a blank tone that is more aimed to herself, which gets a chuckle from Nawin before he leans down to share a kiss. The gesture is fully returned as the Pureblood wraps her arms around the Makasha's neck to pull him in, deepening the kiss.

A moment pass, and the couple separated. With a playful smirk appearing on Sayomi's lip, she swiftly turns around and has herself now rest above. Nawin blinks to realize he is now laid on the bed. "Always got to be the one above?" Nawin comments and rolls his eyes. "Consider yourself lucky, my dear," Sayomi leans down to place a loving kiss to his forehead before sitting up, releasing his arms. "At times, I will allow you to be above me. Only you," she states, then gives a wink.

A noticeable blush appears on the Makasha's cheeks by those words, but he gives a smile in response. Getting off Nawin's lap, Sayomi returns to the floor and heads for the bathroom. "It's already Six so best we shower, my dear. I'm sure you are starving for some food," "You aren't wrong," Nawin sighs out, sliding to the edge of the bed and rub the back of his slightly sore neck.

Sayomi turns around to face the bed, leaning her against the doorway. "Well, come on then." Nawin blinks, "Pardon?" he replies. Then suddenly, the Makasha feels himself get lift off the bed and pulls swiftly towards Sayomi. With a smirk, the Pureblood grabs Nawin's cheeks with one hand "Instead of wasting time taking turns... Shouldn't we shower together?" "Should we?" Nawin replies with his own smirk, sliding his hands down Sayomi's body and stops at her wide and slender hips. "We might do more than showering if both of us go in there."

That comment simply widens Sayomi's smirk as she leans close to Nawin. "Well," she whispers in a vexing tone that sends chills down the man's spine. "If we do decide to get dirty, then we can simply wash it away since we will be in the bathroom." For a moment, the couple simply stares at each other before their lips slam together. Moans emit from the pairs mouth as their tongue wrestle one another, Nawin bends down for a moment and takes both Sayomi's soft and supple thighs to his hands to lift her up. Sayomi brings both her arms up to hold the sides of the Makasha's head as he takes them into the bathroom. Not a moment later, Nawin kicks his feet back to slam the door shut.

Dasuma

Dropping the large plate and glass into the sink, Akame turns the tap over to get the water running before grabbing a scrubber and begin washing the dish she used to have breakfast. Even as she does this task with effort, those brilliant red eyes are glaze over to show her mind is elsewhere.

'I hope.' Those last words Nawin uttered with that smirk, even though faint, had so much conflicted emotions in them that Akame couldn't even begin to understand. Rinsing the soap with water, Akame set the plate aside to dry and move onto the drinking glass. 'I hope.' Akame's eyes begin to glow in frustration. 'Did you truly wanted to recruit her, Nawin-kun... So suddenly out of the blue.' Akame can't find a connection. How can the breakup he had with Akeno lead to him wanting to recruit Miraya? It simply does not match up.

Akame's concern for her King only grew when she saw him in such a state yesterday in the rain. What Akame worries most is Nawin's mental state. She is afraid it is reaching its peak. He always was masterful at protecting and hiding his emotions or state of mind, but yesterday his eyes were clear for once. And Akame can just see the stress, confusion, and conflicted in those brown orbs.

Suddenly, a shattering sound erupts, and Akame blinks in surprise. She looks down to notice the glass has cracked due to a tight grip. Dropping the scrub on to the side, Akame rubs off the shards off her hand before turning the tab shut. Being a Devil means her skin is tougher than humans, a mere glass shattering in hand did not do any harm. Akame rests her hands on the edge of the counter and sighs, staring blankly at the broken glass on the sink.

"Would your heart resemble that right now, Nawin-kun?" Akame finds herself whispering. Hearing the sound of her phone ringing from the bedroom cause Akame to stand straight. She knows the caller is Misako, likely wanting to discuss today's training schedule. 'After taking Misako home tonight, I should pay Nawin-kun and Miraya a visit.' Akame makes up her mind, deciding to not stay in the dark any longer. She usually doesn't get involved in Nawin's personal business due to respecting his privacy, but she has to see if he is ok. She needs to know he is doing better, or that image of him standing there in the rain, alone and hollow, will continue to haunt her.

Time Skip: Elsewhere

"Excuse me." "Uh?!" the young brunette Waitress blinks and immediately blushes in embarrassment at being caught dazing in front of the customer. "I-I'm so sorry!" she gives a sheepish smile and holds the pad up to be ready to take the order. "You just look very unique, Miss. I was in a daze there!"

Setting both the menus done and passing it to the young girl, who takes it. "It's fine," Sayomi replies with a smirk "My dear, and I would like your Salted Salmon Breakfast Set " "Of course." The Waitress taps on the pad and shifts to Nawin, giving him a bright smile, "For drinks?" "Green Iced Tea for the both of us" "Ok. Is that all?" "That'll be all" "Perfect! Your orders will be done soon!" With a respectable bow given, the Waitress moves to the other counters.

Sayomi crosses her arms and leans back on the comfy seat. A chuckle escapes her lip. "What's so funny?" Nawin asks, "Oh, just remembering something." Sayomi looks forward and smiles in reminisce. "I used to get a lot of that look back in the day. When I was with you in my true form. We would cause such a stir for a while. You can imagine seeing an adorable boy walking beside an older girl with silver hair and striking red eyes was quite a sight. We made a weird combo."

Nawin looks amused by the story. "I don't recall us getting many looks," "Of course you didn't," Sayomi smirk "You were too busy either talking with me or simply in your own little world to notice those things." Sayomi sets her right elbow to the table and rests her chin on the top of the hand, glancing through the window that shows a bright and clear day. No rain to be seen. "Even though I had my attention solely set on you, my dear. My eyes were still wide and kept to our backs and in the shadows for any danger."

Nawin expression turns slightly grimace. "Was I truly in that much danger? "Enough to make me convinced that becoming Miraya was the best choice. It was either that... Or I would have forced to leave your side." Sayomi turns and sees the look of confliction on the Makasha's face. "Come now," she smiles and reaches her left hand over to grasp Nawin's hand, squeezing it gently "No more dwelling in the past. You should be beyond that now." Squeezing back, Nawin smiles. "Yeah, I know."

"So," Sayomi starts, tilting her head "Did you enjoy last night?" "W-what?!" Nawin's eyes spread wide by the out of nowhere question as his face becomes flustered. Sayomi remains calm and simply raises her eyebrow by the reaction. "It was a simple question, my dear" "N-No, it isn't!" "Ahaha, look at you, all flustered. I guess that is a good sign. Looks to me like you enjoyed it." Nawin cocks his head to the right to hide his red face. "I-I enjoy it, alright?" Sayomi wears a warm smile and nods "I'm glad to hear that.

Nawin sighs and slowly turns to look across. "Did... Did you enjoy it too?" "With a stud such as yourself, my dear. I had a great time." Once again, the Makasha's face glows bright red by such a comment. Sayomi simply cracks a big grin, enjoying how flustered she is making Nawin. "Can you turn it down a notch with the teasing!" "Just stating a fact here, my dear."

Unable to say anything more, Nawin simply sighs and shakes his head. Though, a small smile can't help but appear on his face. He was glad that Sayomi enjoyed that special moment they shared last night just as much as he did. Knowing that just makes him overjoyed. "Hey," Sayomi speaks up in a soft tone to get attention. She gives a firm squeeze on the hand. "Like I said. I only ever wanted you to take my first, Nawin. Last night truly means a lot to me. I'm glad you enjoyed it too. I'm not gonna lie... When I woke up this morning, there was a small part of me that was afraid you'd wake up and be filled with regret."

Nawin shakes his head and turns serious. Leaning forward and wrapping his hand around Sayomi's. "I don't regret a single thing. I would never do that if I had doubts. When I remembered everything, I know that I love you, Sayomi Dracul. I love you for the longest time. Content is all I feel right now in my life... Thanks to you."

Hearing that brings a beaming smile on Sayomi's face. The pair soon pull apart when seeing the Waitress coming towards them with their breakfasts. "Here are your orders!" the young girl beams after setting the dishes and drinks down in front of the couple. "Thank you," Nawin reply. The Waitress smile then gives a bow before heading off to attend other customers.

Digging into their food, Nawin takes a piece of salmon to his mouth and chews. He looks up to Sayomi, seeing her drinking the refreshing Green Tea first. "So," he starts "Is there anything you need to do?" "Nope," Sayomi set the glass down and smirk coyly. "I'm all yours today, my dear." She grabs the chopstick, "What would you like to do today?"

Nawin's brain draws blank for a moment. He wonders what he should do with Sayomi. After yesterday's events. It just came back to him now that the past few days have been nothing but negative and bleak for him. Only since last night have things begin to turn more positive, brighter for him. And that shift is mostly thanks to the beautiful woman seating across him right now.

Sayomi swallows some of the rice and raises an eyebrow when seeing Nawin is completely frozen. "You ok?" "Hmm?" he blinks, snapping back to reality. "Y-yeah... Just drawing blank here." Nawin gives a sheepish smile before speaking. "Is there anything you particularly want to do, Sayomi?" "As long as I get to spend time with you, then I'm content, my dear." Nawin is both happy and annoyed by that answer since it isn't really helping him. Sayomi, on the other hand, is inwardly smirking, knowing Nawin is having a tough time, but she is curious to see what his answer will be.

Closing his eyes to think of something while blushing when feeling Sayomi's coy gaze lingering on him. 'Wait...' Nawin's eyes snap open, and a smile form on his lip. Sayomi raises an eyebrow at this, curious to hear his idea. "Actually, there was an advertisement pamphlet stuck on the wall in the reception that caught my eyes. There is some sort of festival going on in Konaoh district" "Konaoh? Ah." A look of realization appears on Sayomi's face as she set the chopsticks down for a moment.

"I used to take you there once. Konaoh holds a fair share of affluent families that are very kind. With their influence joined, they agreed to have a yearly festival there to spark some vibrant time for the community. Considering Konaoh is just east of Kuoh, which easy to get to. It must have gotten popular here. At least more popular now compared to when they first had it, which was when I took you. Must be doing well if they still have it," Sayomi mutters more to herself with a faint smile.

"I... don't really remember that," Nawin mutters, trying to dig up in his mind, which have Sayomi's attention turn to him. "You were very young, my dear. Plus, it wasn't all that special as we simply stumbled upon it on our way back from the City Center. You were suddenly craving for some sweets, and there was a lot of food stands there, so I simply took you in there to fetch you ice cream, and we left straight after."

"You... You remember that?" Nawin asks in stun, "You were giving me the puppy eyes the whole time during our bus ride back to Kuoh because you were craving for sweets, my dear," Sayomi points out with a smirk "Not exactly something I would forget." Blush appears on the Makasha's cheeks when hearing how childish he was, but he can't resist smiling, knowing that Sayomi even remembers the little moments such as that.

"S-So," Nawin speaks up, scratching his cheek in a nervous act. "You want to go there? Perhaps this time, we can make it more memorable" "Oh," Sayomi tilts her head in amusement. "Are you implying we go there as a date?" Nawin's cheeks become more vibrant before he nods, "Yeah... A date. Just the two of us." A breathtaking smile form on the Pureblood's lift as she leans forward and grasps Nawin's hand once more, squeezing it gently to make him look up at her. "Sounds great."

Hyoudou Household

"Hey!" Issei blinks out of his thoughts and looks across the table to see the annoyed gaze coming from Riser. "With what Rias here just told me. It seems like a lot of shit happened when Ravel and I left to visit our parents, but don't bring that depressing attitude here. Especially when I came all this way to pay a visit." "Sorry," Issei apologies then shifts his eyes to the side, not bothering to give his typical counter jabs like he usually does with the Phenex. Rias glance over to her lover and can only give him a sympathetic look.

"So," Riser rub the back of his neck, "You tried talking to him twice and pretty much got pushed back. Best, you just let him be, Rias..." "I wanted this to be solved before things become too complicated. Also, school is starting tomorrow." "Trust me," Riser snorts. "School is the last thing going on Nawin's and Akeno's mind." Rias's shoulder slump as she gives a weak nod. "I know... It's just frustrating to see all this happening and not being able to do anything to help, Riser. I love Akeno and Nawin. Seeing them in this situation just hurts" "I know," Riser reply in a softer tone.

A sudden knock comes from the front door that catches the three's attention. "Come in!" Rias shouts out, not feeling like getting up to answer. The door swings open before slamming shut and emerging into the living room is Lucy. "Lucy," Rias mutters, surprised by the blonde's visit as she watches her take a seat on the single leather chair set in front of the table.

"Damn," Lucy raises her eyebrow in impressed "This room is just as depressing as my place." Riser chuckle at this while Rias and Issei did not share that reaction. "What's happening at your place?" Issei asks, "A lot," Lucy's shoulder slump as a tired sigh escapes her mouth. The dark bags underneath her eyes indicate a lack of sleep. "Azazel came to visit yesterday. It seems like Big Bro paid him a visit for some reason... From what Azazel said, it seems Big Bro was in a rough state" "We saw him yesterday," Rias intercept. "Besides his cold demeanor toward us, he looked fine" "Well... You must have met him after his visit from Azazel. Maybe he went somewhere to freshen up because Azazel made it quite clear that Big Bro looked like a mess."

"The hell is going on with the guy," Riser scratches his head, half concern and angry. Concern for his friend and angry that this is happening. "Azazel wanted to ask something from my Mother... It concerns Big Bro, but for some reason, my Mother didn't want to talk about it. She even raised her voice at me when I asked what is going on and shouting her to spill it out." "A secret?" Rias utters, "Yeah... A big one because I have never seen my Mother act that way. She very rarely raised her voice like that, so her reaction towards my push was telling" Lucy state.

"Wait," Issei leans forward. "Is there a chance there's something else going on with Nawin? It isn't just about the breakup?" "What else would it be, though?" Riser inserts, waving his hand, "You properly looking too deep into it, Hyoudou" "No," Rias joins in, holding her chin in a thinking manner. "I find it hard to believe Azazel would come all this way because of the breakup... Plus, why would he be talking with Yao-san about it instead of Akeno? It doesn't line up" "It isn't about the breakup," Lucy strongly asserts "Azazel was clearly talking about something else. There's more going on. And I believe whatever it is is what Big Bro is currently struggling with. The breakup is a factor but not the full picture."

"Well..." Riser sighs and leans back on the couch, resting his right leg on the left. "Even with this being a fact. It is still leading us to nowhere if we don't even know what the hell is going on behind the scene. Your Mother won't talk, and that goes the same with Nawin. He clearly wants to deal with this alone." "But," "No buts," Riser insert with annoyance, stopping Issei "Look, I get it. You are worried about him, but I say this is something you best just leave him alone as he requested. Hate to be the voice of reason here, but the next best course of action is clear. Leave the guy alone for now until he gets his mind straight and solves whatever problem he currently has. Plus, you told him you'll leave him be, right?" Issei leans back and sigh, nodding "Yeah" "Then follow through that. It'll only make him see you in a bad light if you go against those words."

"Riser's right," Lucy mutters and stare out of the window at the clear and sunny sky. "My brother is the strongest out of all of us. He'll be fine. I understand your position Issei. You care deeply for him, and knowing he is out there hurting is painful. But, giving him space right now is the best thing. For now, just focus on yourself. When Big Bro is better, he'll be back, and we'll see where things go from there." "I just hope he is doing better now," Rias whisper.

Konaoh

"Are you going to be ok?" Nawin steps out of the taxi after paying the driver and watch Sayomi stopping a few feet away from him, taking in a breath of fresh air. "Hmm?" she turns around and tilts her head, "What do you mean, my dear?" "Vampires are weaker to sunlight than even Devils and today's a clear sky," Nawin state then points up at the bright sky that is utterly devoid of any clouds.

Sayomi giggles and steps forward until she stands in front of Nawin. "Compared to other lowly Vampires, I can withstand this light considerably well. Though it does annoy my eyes quite a bit, but there's not much I can do about that." Sayomi gives an affectionate pet on Nawin's cheek then leans back, smirking, "However, thanks for voicing your concern, my dear. Sweet of you."

With nothing more to add, Sayomi turns around and takes Nawin's hand into hers. "Come now. It's not far from here, and if I remember correctly, it should be on the right corner over there." Nawin finds himself glancing down at Sayomi's soft hand holding his. A warm smile form on his lip before he closes his fingers to hold on firmly. Feeling this, Sayomi glance back with a gentle smile dancing on her lip. "Shall we?" "Lead the way."

With a short walk through the street and turning right at the end. The couple immediately takes notice of the crowd in the distance. Many people can be seen passing through the entrance that's decorated with colorful flowers and balloons, which helps set a welcoming vibe for visitors.

"Interesting," Sayomi comments as they come to a stop. "Interesting?" Nawin repeats, "The festival has gotten much more expansive. Before, it was just an average size space filled with small attractions with a fair amount of food stands. Guess it really garnered enough attention and money to become this grand." "That's good then." Sayomi glance over to see Nawin grinning, "It only means more fun for our date." Her eyes widen slightly at the comment before a hearty chuckle escape her lip "That is true."

Holding Sayomi firmly by her hand, Nawin now takes the lead to guide them toward the bustling event. When reaching the entrance, one of the workers passes Nawin a pamphlet while beaming. "Please take this! It shows all the attractions we have for this year!" "Ah, thank you" "No problem. Enjoy the festival!" As they go past the entrance, Sayomi sneaks a glance around to notice the stares and whispers directing toward them. 'Expected as much. We truly stand out.' Sayomi mentally shrugs, not caring for the attention and only focus on the person beside her.

"Hmm," Nawin looks through the pamphlet and is impressed by the amount of stuff to do here. "This place may be bigger than we thought," he states and passes the paper over to Sayomi. Humming, the Pureblood scan through the list until her eyes stop at a specific one. A small smile grows on her lip as she sneaks a glance over to Nawin, who is looking at the shops and food stands. 'Should save this for last...' Sayomi fold the pamphlet and place it in the back pocket of her jean.

"There it is!" Sayomi blinks when she is suddenly taken to the right and ends up in front of a shop that sells a variety type of hats. "Can I see that one. The white sunhat." Nawin points over at the broad hat, and the seller nod, taking it off the rack and pass it over. "Try it one," Nawin smile, holding the hat towards Sayomi, who tilts her head but goes along with it. Taking the hat, she sets it on her head. The color white on it matches perfectly with her light-silver locks. Sayomi blinks in surprise when feeling the annoying pain in her eyes disappear. She looks up and sees Nawin smiling at her. 'So, he wanted to protect me from the sunlight with this.' Sayomi gives a warm smile in return to show her thanks, a faint blush form on her pale cheeks.

Nawin turns back and asks for the price before dropping the money down on the counter. "Alright, let's move on." He retakes Sayomi's hand, and the two continue deeper into the festival. Sayomi looks ahead and can see things much clearer thanks to the hat creating shades on her face. Her eyes no longer feel painfully dry. "I saw you were frequently blinking since stepping out of the cab," Nawin comments, catching the Pureblood's attention. "Even though sunlight doesn't severely harm you, it still seems to cause some annoyance. Getting you a sunhat was the best solution, I thought... Plus," Nawin grins, "You look really good with it, Sayomi."

"Goodness," Sayomi softly bumps her shoulder with Nawin's "You really trying to make me blush here, my dear," she states with a noticeable pink tint once again appearing on her cheeks. "A bit of payback from all the teasing you gave during breakfast," Nawin reply with a smirk, which earns a chuckle out of the Pureblood "Fair enough."

The couple begins exploring the front side of the festival that is littered with shops and game booths. For the next hour, Nawin and Sayomi competed against one another in a variety of games. Ranging from Balloon Darts and Airgun Shooting to Skee Ball and Whack-A-Mole. With Nawin and Sayomi sharing a somewhat competitive spirit, the two went all out against each other. And in each game, they played, they would garner attention from onlookers.

"One more!" Nawin sweatdrops as he stares at Sayomi looking up at him with fire in her eyes, her hands clench into fists and press against her chest. "You really can't let go that I have a point over you?" "Unacceptable! Especially when you dragged me away from the last game!" "You were whacking those moles so hard that the machine was starting to break! Imagine the trouble we would have gotten if you destroyed that machine!" "I don't care! I was three points away from beating you!"

Nawin sighs then once again look over at Sayomi. Her beautiful eyes are shining brilliantly while her lip twists into a faint pout. It is honestly an adorable sight. Seeing this usually composed and mature woman acting like a child. Nawin can't help but smile warmly at this. Seeing that Sayomi is able to be like this because of him. Being off-guard and more open with him. It made him feel special, and it was the same effect she has on him too. He can truly be himself around Sayomi.

"Alright," Nawin gives in and lets out a soft laugh. "To end this competition. We will finish it off with test your strength," "Perfect!" Sayomi smirk. Finding the game not far from where they stood, Nawin notices it is currently empty and takes the opportunity to grab the hammer set on the side. Holding it the correct way with both hands, he turns to Sayomi, "Don't go all out," "Hmm..." Nawin wears a deadpan look at the weak response.

Shifting forward and getting into position, Nawin looks up to see the max number is a thousand. Taking a deep breath and gripping the hammer tightly, raising it over his head. Exhaling, Nawin's snap his eyes open and swing the hammer down to slam at the rubber padding, hitting it square in the center. The puck blast upwards and slams the bell to signal Nawin scoring the highest result possible.

Sayomi applauds, which have Nawin looking at her with amusement before passing the hammer over. "Time to even the score," she asserts, grinning in a way that is worrying. Nawin observes Sayomi get into position, lifting the hammer high up. Subconsciously, he takes a step back to create some distance.

With a shout, Sayomi delivers the hammer down and smash the padding with so much strength it splits into two. The puck bolts upwards and contacts the bell with so much force it creates a small explosion. The booming noise causes everyone in the area to halt and look over to see the top of the High Striker is utterly demolished. Nawin's blank gaze falls to the ground where the deformed and slightly smoky bell crashed from above.

"Eheheh," Sayomi snickers and stops in front, carrying the hammer on her shoulder and smirks. "I say that leaves us at a draw, my dear." Nawin looks up, retaining that blank expression. "I say that leaves you disqualified," "What?!" Sayomi smirk leaves her face as she shouts in anger. Nawin sweatdrops at how serious she is taking this competition between them. "Hey there!" "What happened here?!" Two guards come rushing over, but one look at Sayomi's glare, they freeze in fear and squeak like teenage girls.

Seeing how foul of a mood Sayomi is, Nawin quickly drops his act and grab her shoulders. "Ok, ok!" he speaks, and she turns back to look at him. "It's a draw." Hearing that brings a smirk back on her face. "Good," Sayomi drops the hammer to the ground and takes Nawin's hand "Let's go grab some food next. It's almost lunch." Allowing himself to be led, Nawin turns his head around and gives an apologetic smile to the security guards "Sorry about that. She's really strong." The grown-ups dumbly nod along and mentally agree with the comment.

Getting away from the eyeing crowd, the pair stroll over the small wooden bridge built above a stream to reach the center of the festival where food stands and restaurants are at. Nawin fastens his steps to walk alongside Sayomi. "Did you really have to go overboard back there?" "No, but you should know this, my dear." Sayomi stops for a moment and turns to face Nawin. "Compared to you. It is much more difficult for me to limit my strength to such a drastic degree. Apart from becoming Miraya... Back there was the best I could have done to control myself. Though admittedly, I was a bit too excited, so that had a part to play."

"Miraya..." Nawin finds himself whispering that name as his eyes become solemn. He stares at Sayomi, and the image of Miraya overlaps her. Smiling brightly and lovingly at him. Concern arises inside Sayomi as she releases Nawin's hand to cup his cheek, which snaps him out of the trance. "Nawin..." "It's ok," he whispers and leans into the touch, looking at her with warmth "I know what you are going to say. Changing to her will give me joy, but it'll only be for a moment. Miraya isn't your true self. Right now, the person standing in front of me is the real you. I may love Miraya and miss her... And it will take time for me to fully come to terms that I won't see her again as I just can't go back to the way things were after finding out the truth... However," Nawin smiles, "I love you, Sayomi. You don't have to worry about being Miraya anymore. I can see parts of her in you clearly."

For a moment, Sayomi silently stares at Nawin with wide eyes. Her expression softens as her glossy gaze shifts to the ground. Her lip begins to tremble. With a tender smile, Nawin steps forward and gently pulls the Pureblood into a hug. Lifting her arms up, Sayomi accepts the gesture and bury her face onto Nawin's shoulder to hide the few tears that are threatening to spill. "Thank you for saying that," she whispers "I was worried that you might not be able to look past that. That you'll suffer from the truth. I-I'm so glad of those words, my dear. So glad."

Nawin lets out a soft chuckle then slowly pulls back to look at Sayomi in her beautiful eyes. "Hey, come now. Don't speak with such a somber tone. You're going to make me cry as well." That brings a smile to Sayomi's face, and it further broadens when Nawin lifts his hand up to brush away her tears. "You don't have to worry about that anymore, Sayomi. I should have said it sooner to help clear your worry, but I didn't want to spoil this date... Sorry that I brought it up out of nowhere. Hearing Miraya's name just," "I know," Sayomi insert, "Don't be sorry. I spoke her name, but I'm glad we were able to clear it up now."

When taking a step back, Nawin glances around and is startled to see everyone around them is frozen. The entire festival seems to have stopped in time. "Um, Sayomi?" "Yes, this is my doing." Giggling at Nawin's expression, the Pureblood carries a proud smirk "I wasn't going to let humans see me in such a state, my dear" "Understandable, but... How are you doing this?" "Psychokinesis," Sayomi answers, "It's another ability that we Pureblood were born with. I've mastered it to a degree where I can control a large number of people that are in a certain range from me."

Nawin can't help but be impressed by this. Never seeing an individual being able to mind control this amount of people at once. It reminded him of just how powerful Sayomi is. A person that even makes somebody like Azazel and Sirzech nervous. When feeling the familiar soft and cold hand grabbing his, Nawin looks over to see Sayomi stepping on the right, smiling brightly. "Let's go fetch some lunch from the food stands. I want us to eat by the stream" "Sounds good." As the couple resume walking, everyone in the festival comes back to life and continues with their day.

Center of Kuoh

"Hey!" "Eek!" Misako squeak when a hand slither around her neck and pulls her head into a soft cushion. Seating across the table, Akame stare in amusement at Misako being suffocated in Senna's sizable chest. "A surprise to run into you two here," Momo comes through the curtain, wearing her ever polite smile. "Yeah!" Senna stands straight and finally free poor Misako, who immediately gasp for air. "It's been a while. Not expecting to see you two in some ramen restaurant" "Misako was favoring some ramen for lunch," Akame inform.

"Ramen, aye?" Senna smirks as she takes a seat beside Misako then pinches her cheek. "Eeeh! Don't doh that, Senna-chan" "Why not? You are just so cute! Also, I haven't seen you in a while!" "Hasn't really been that long," Akame state. Momo takes a seat beside the Knight and turns to her "Since that buffet, we had a few days back, Senna and I left on a bit of a family trip, so it kind of feels like we haven't seen you all in a while" "Understandable."

Finally releasing Misako's chubby cheeks, Senna turns to Akame with a bright grin. "Looking as stoic as ever there, Akame-chan." The response to that comment is only a blank stare from the Knight, and Senna chuckles at this. "So," Misako finish rubbing her cheek and face her friend "You just returned today?" "No, last night. Pretty much collapsed to bed after the harsh trip" "It was quite stressful," Momo inserts with a tired sigh.

Akame raises an eyebrow, "What's so stressful about the trip?" "Oh, you know," Senna waves her hand dismissively "Some family drama stuff... I would never be able to get through those if Momo isn't with me. She has more patients." Akame can't help but feel there's more to those words, however, she did not push for more. Not wanting to invade a private matter such as family issues.

"Here are your orders!" the Waiter comes through the curtain and place all four-steaming bowls to the girls. "You already ordered?!" Misako asks, "Ehehe, yep! When I saw your pink hair through the curtains, I knew it was you, so we ordered before barging in here." The Waiter gives a bow then excuses himself out of the room.

"You knew it was me just by my hair color?" Misako comment, not sure how to feel about that. Senna gives a straight-forward look at tap the Ichiru's nose "Misako-chan, you are the only person I know that a hair color that is pink" "Oh," "I say that's a good thing, Misako-chan," Momo insert with a grin "It makes you unique! I'm honestly a bit jealous with you and Senna having such exotic hair color." Misako can only blush at the compliment "T-thank you, and please don't feel jealous! Your hair is nice as they are, Momo-chan" "Ahaha, I appreciate that."

Pulling the wooden chopstick apart, Senna digs into the bowl of ramen while the rest does the same. Chomping down the noodles with vigor and squealing at the delicious flavor bursting in her mouth, Senna swallows then turns to Akame. "Where's Nawin-kun, Akame-chan? I tried to communicate with him last night when arriving back but couldn't get through. His phone was switched off."

While Senna has her eyes set on Akame, she missed Misako's hands stop moving for a moment before they resume, placing some noodles in her mouth. However, Momo caught that, and her pupils narrow ever slightly in suspicion. She glances over to Akame to hear an answer.

Unlike her friend, Akame kept her composure and looks calm as ever, not slightly surprised by the question as she expected it would be brought up soon. It isn't particularly hard to see that Senna is fond of Nawin. "Misako and I saw Nawin-kun yesterday. He is currently busy handling some personal issues," "Issues?" Senna repeats with a glint of worry in her tone, "Is he ok?" "I don't know." Akame gives an honest opinion, not one to really lie unless it is absolutely necessary.

Misako goes quiet, not confident to deal with this situation. She doesn't know if she should tell Senna and Momo about Nawin's and Akeno's separation. In truth, hearing her dear King's name uttered has her mood waver. Image of that day of Nawin stood in the rain, looking so lost and empty haunts her mind. Remembering what he said and that he wanted to visit Miraya with subtle intentions to make her join his peerage. With no communication since then, Misako worries only grows, but she now has some confidence because Miraya is with Nawin. If there is one person that can help her King out of a tough spot like the one, he is currently in, it is Miraya. For now, Misako can only hope Miraya does right by Nawin's side.

Looking up, Misako notices how silent the table has gotten. She quickly acts when seeing Akame does not want to further continue the current subject. "Senna-chan, after eating here, do you want to go have dessert in that shave ice place?" "Oh!" that catches the blue-haired girl's attention "Sure! We haven't eaten there in a while. Let's do it!" Misako grins, "Great!"

Akame sends a ghost of a smile to Misako as thanks for the assist. She shifts to the bowl of ramen. The noodles and meat are all eaten, leaving only the soup left. 'Momo is suspicious, and no doubt, Senna willingly decided to change the subject. I need to see Nawin-kun before things get complicated, and more people get involved.' This only furthers her motivation to see her King tonight. But, there's one thing that surprises Akame. She is nervous about going to see Nawin. And she doesn't know why. And that feeling disturbs her.

Konaoh

"Ahahaha," Nawin laughs heartily while Sayomi giggles along. The pair are seated by the calming stream, under a tree that shields them from the sun. A variety of food placed inside the opened paper boxes is laid in front of them for the choosing. "So, you were the one that made it snow that Christmas morning?" "Yes," Sayomi pierce her fork in a piece of chicken and brings it to her mouth, chewing it. After swallowing, she cracks a nostalgic smile and peers over. "You badly wanted it to snow that Christmas. Even though the forecast said it wasn't happening, you would continue to pray for Santa to give you snow. Ahaha, you just want to build some snowman with Lucy" "I remember. That year, Lucy was able to walk on her own, so I wanted her to enjoy the snow as I did with you."

Setting the plate down, Nawin turns to Sayomi. "I looked back at that and always found it weird. How it snowed suddenly that morning... Thank you, Sayomi" "One of the many things I've done in secret to make you happy, my dear," she replies with nonchalant and continues on eating. "How many are there?" "Want to be here the whole day?" Nawin blinks in surprise before chuckling.

"Sayomi." the Pureblood blinks and looks over only to receive a surprise kiss. Nawin leans back and grins when seeing a notable blush appearing on Sayomi's cheeks. "You know," Instead of retorting with one of her sly comments, Sayomi cocks an eyebrow up and points her fork forward. "You are an excellent kisser, my dear. You sure you only kissed two people?"

Nawin swiftly leans back as his face turns flustered, which have Sayomi smirk and leans in. "Now, now. Don't move away. There's a good story here, isn't there?" "Well..." Nawin shifts his eyes to the stream "I have had some accident that led to me kissing some other girls." "How many?" "Three," "What a stud you are," "It was not on purpose!" "Oh, I believe you. You're not that straightforward when it comes to that kind of stuff. Who was the first accident?" "Irina. Issei kicked me into the clubroom, and I stumbled inside before tripping then... Well, you can imagine the rest," "Mhm-hmm. And the second?" "Akame." Sayomi raises an eyebrow at this. "How did that happen? That girl is incredibly sharp" "You're not wrong. It honestly happened out of nowhere..."

Flashback

"Issei, you idiot!" Nawin shouts and jumps over a hole that's littered with spikes. "What part did I say about not touching anything, did you not understand?!" "It was just a gold coin!" Issei yells back, running then peers back. "How the hell am I supposed to know lifting that off the ground would release an army of undead for us!" "We are in an ancient cave! The hell do you expect! I should have just declined your offer to help on this mission!"

The two make a sharp right and continue to dash through the dimly lit passage. The group of undead follows them with vigor and groans sinisterly. Their pupilless red eyes glow brightly. Nawin clicks his tongue and looks ahead to see they need to make another turn. "I hope Akame was able to get that necklace out of here without activating any other traps." "Ahhh! Nawin, they are getting closer!" "Then, run faster!"

Taking another sharp turn, Nawin notices the ray of light shining in the distance. He smiles when seeing it is the exit. "Issei, the entrance where we enter is just up ahead!" "Awesome! Alright, I'll fire a Dragon Blast on the ceiling to block these undead in here" "What?!" Nawin snaps back and glares, "You could bring this whole place down on us!" "It'll be fine!" Before Nawin can retort, Issei charges up a magic orb in the boosted gear and turns around to fire the red blast upwards.

The ceiling instantly crumbles, and pieces of earth start falling, burying the undead. Though, the whole cave begins to shake. The walls start cracking, and the ground splitting. "W-whoa!" Issei stagger by the tremors. "I told you!" Nawin shouts and takes his friend's hand "Come on! Before we get buried with those undead!" The two immediately bolts toward the exit. "W-why aren't you using your Speeding Shadow God again?!" "Because I'm low in mana! One more and I'll collapse! You want to deal with Akame alone while heading back to the Capital?" "No way, she scares me! Don't teleport!"

Issei glances up and sees the ceiling above them is cracking. He looks ahead and notices they are near the entrance. Nawin is surprised when feeling a hand press on his back, and before he can look behind, he is sent blasting forward.

Bursting out of the cave, Nawin collides with something hard and tumbles to the ground. "Kuh!" a light voice grunts in pain from below, and Nawin snap his eyes open. He freezes in shock, staring at those familiar red orbs. Akame lies directly below him. She broke his landing, but it additionally ended with their lips firmly pressed against one another. The King and Knight simply stay in that position for a second. Utterly speechless.

Coming to his senses, Nawin quickly moves away from Akame's surprisingly soft lip. He sits up and slides away. Akame slowly raises up, merely staring at her King with a bright red face. "And we are good!" Issei emerges from the dust and stops by the entrance. Clapping his hands to clean them while grinning broadly. "I told you everything will be fine!" he exclaims then looks forward, noticing the frozen pair. "Um... What did I miss?"

Present

"So not only once but twice Issei was responsible," Sayomi comment with amusement. "Well," Nawin rub the back of his neck and chuckles. "With Akame, it wasn't deliberate. I had a feeling he knew about Irina as she was just behind the front door. He could have easily sensed her presence."

Taking a sip of water from the bottle, Sayomi closes the cap and set it on the side. She is already full and simply set her arms behind, leaning slightly back. "And the last?" "Misako. It happened quite recently. I was sparing with her, and she fell over her shoelaces since it came loose during the time. I caught her. However, my body was already quite beaten up since I trained with both her and Akame for a whole day. So, we tumbled to the ground, and you can imagine the rest."

The strain in the Makasha's tone didn't go unnoticed by Sayomi. She glances over and sees that faraway look in his eyes. "I think now is a good time to bring this up." Nawin perks and moves over, "Pardon?" Sayomi leans forward to sit straight, crossing her arms over her chest and stare Nawin in the eyes. "My dear, you are aware of the affection you have over a number of the girls in your circle of friends, yes?" With the tone used for those words, Nawin knows this is a serious conversation. He gives a simple nod to answer.

"Your commitment to keeping a great relationship with the people you care for is something I love about you. It is a wonderful trait that everyone should have. But, like what you were just thinking when talking about Misako. The problem you have, Nawin, is that all the relationships you hold with your close female friends. Girls like Misako, Akame, and Irina, for example. These relationships you have with them goes beyond being friends. Right now, you are trying your hardest to keep them as friends, although that is impossible to maintain because both parties can't stay like that forever. Each of those girls loves you very dearly, and you care for them a great deal."

Nawin opens his mouth, but it closes promptly. Setting his arms behind and leaning back, he sighs and wordlessly nods. "I know that. I am aware of Misako's and Irina's feelings for me and... I foster that same feeling for them," Nawin admits. "Though," he shifts to Sayomi with skeptical eyes "I don't think you should put Akame in the same category. Just because we shared that kiss doesn't mean anything like that."

Sayomi cocks her head to the side and gives a look that shows she isn't impressed. "My dear, I have shared some private moments with Akame over the past few weeks. That girl cares for you exceptionally. Out of everyone in your group of friends. I like her the most because I know she will never ever betray you. Remember her birthday gift for you?" "The drawing?" "Yes, the picture of you and her. When I look at that, I can easily imagine that you two were on a nice date."

"I-I," Nawin stutter a bit as he can see Sayomi's case. "I see." "Honestly," Sayomi lets out a chuckle and gives a coy smirk. "One of the reasons you were so blinded by this is because Akame is a bit of a female version of you, my dear." Nawin blinks in surprise by that statement though he does see where Sayomi is coming from. "I guess you are right... Akame and I just work so well together that I look at her differently compared to others."

"Though," Nawin's shoulder slump as he shifts his sight up to tree above. "I don't know what to do with the position I am with them, Sayomi. I mean, I'm with you. I love you." "I know," Sayomi leans over and rests her head next to Nawin's, who smiles and returns the gesture. Both of them stare at the stream while listening to the soothing sound of the water passing. "However, you need to remember one thing, Nawin. You are no longer human. You aren't restraint to only a single woman. It is common that powerful devils such as yourself would have multiple relationships." "But," Nawin looks down, his eyes wide in shock "What about you?" "Hey," Sayomi separates and entirely turns around to come face to face. She smiles and gives an affection flick on the forehead to Nawin. "There are only two things I care most in this world, my dear. One is your safety, and Two is your happiness. If you are genuinely series about pursuing multiple relationships with these girls that you clearly care strongly for, then I won't object."

Nawin is left without words, plainly staring at Sayomi with wide-eyes, and his mouth slightly agape. It feels like today alone, he has been more expressive than he ever was in the past few years combined. "Eheheh," Sayomi laughs then gives a coy smile. "Anyway, I will always be the special one that holds the credit of taking your virginity. So, I know I'll always be number one, right, my dear?" Nawin's entire face turns bright red. He looks down at his empty plate, unable to keep eye contact. "Y-yeah." Sayomi beams at the adorable expression and leans forward to plant a soft kiss to her dear's cheek. "I love you, Nawin Makasha. Nothing will ever change that."

After finishing their lunch, Nawin and Sayomi proceed to explore more of what the festival has to offer. Watching some live shows scheduled for the afternoon. The couple took their time since they solely want to spend time together for as long as possible. Enjoying the date and not wanting it to end anytime soon.

Before the two realized, the sun has already begun to turn orange and setting on the horizon. Many people are ready to leave after having their fill of fun for the day. Workers set to clean up for the night. Some food stands are already closed due to bustling business that leaves them empty of ingredients.

"A lot of smiles leaving here," Nawin state, watching the happy people, couples, and family walking toward the exit. All of them had a wonderful time. "Yeah," Sayomi softly replies. While Nawin continues to look on at the rather peaceful scene, Sayomi sneaks a glance over to a white building on the right. Pushing the sunhat down as the soft breeze blows by, Sayomi speaks. "Nawin," "Yes?" he shifts his sight over. "There's one last thing I want to do before we leave. Care to follow?" With a warm smile, Nawin takes the offered hand, "I'll follow you anywhere, Sayomi."

Walking past a water fountain and steering to the left. Nawin blinks when they stop in front of a building with a wide display case in the front. "This is..." Nawin stares at the three beautiful white wedding dress shown behind the glass. Sayomi takes off the sunset and wears that attractive grin of hers. "I saw this place on the pamphlet and thought we could take a lovely picture." Nawin sees Sayomi staring at the dresses with a strange look in her eyes. He can see this means something to her. So, with a nod, Nawin takes Sayomi's hand and takes on step toward the stares. "Alright," he smiles, "Let's go in."

The bell rings when the couple enters the clean and spacious front room. More dresses can be seen on the right side. Absolutely gorgeous ones that are hidden behind a protective glass, which is a sign of them being the expensive selections.

"Hello!" a middle-aged woman dressed in a sharp black and white suit walks into the room. Looking to be the owner of this shop. Her smile widens when seeing Nawin and Sayomi, their arms linked. "Oh my! What a gorgeous couple you two are!" she exclaims and stops in front of them. Sayomi smirk at the comment while Nawin chuckles. "What may I do for you two lovebirds?" "We aren't here to buy anything but rather want a test," "A sort of rehearsal?" "Exactly. I also want you to take a photo of us. I see you have a replica room of an altar behind you, so these are not strange requests, yes?" "Of course not!" the woman claps her hands together "I'll happily lend my service for you two."

With how excited the owner was, Sayomi was quickly taken to the other room to find her preferred dress. Nawin now finds himself alone in a room full of suits. Row upon row of different style suits is before him. "... Where the hell do I start?" Nawin scratches his head before walking to the right, scanning through each of the rows, trying to find a specific one that'll catch is eyes.

Then, one of them causes Nawin to halt. He walks over and grabs it, taking it out of the hanger and examines it. A tiny smile appears. When changed into the suit, Nawin steps in front of the large mirror and examines. Black button shirt with a very fade gray vertical strips that would display more noticeable if in certain angles. A sharp black blazer wears over with the back having two pointy coattails. A gray color belt keeps the black slacks firmly in place. The shoes are black to match with the rest of the suit, but they are polished and holds a sharp front.

For once, Nawin kept the shirt fully buttoned. He smiles at his reflection, already loving the suit on him. "I might just buy this." A knock on the door shift Nawin's attention over. Instead of speaking, he stops in front of opens the door. "Oh my!" the woman whispers and take a step back to take in the Makasha's full appearance. A slight blush form on her cheeks. "A-a wonderful pick, Makasha-san!" she says, regaining her composure and grins, "Looks flawless on you" "Thank you."

Standing straight, the woman in suit gesture her right arm to the side. "Your girlfriend is over by the altar. You can head in there. I shall go fetch the camera," Nawin gives a simple nod and head for the room. With the door now closed, Nawin stops in front and brings both his hands up, grabbing the gold color handles. For a moment, he pauses when feeling his heart has risen. Even though this is just a rehearsal, Nawin can't help but feel a bit nervous. Taking one deep breath and exhaling, he pushes down the handle and opens the doors.

Stepping into the room and shutting the door behind, Nawin looks up, and his breath comes to a halt while his eyes widen. Standing there by the altar is a person that can only be described as a goddess. Sayomi, dressed in a beautiful sheath style wedding dress. A sleeveless top with lace detailing and a deep v-neck that shows a modest area of her asset. The dress hugs all of her curves perfectly. The length of it reaches the ground. Not too long to be excessive. The milky and pure white color of the dress goes flawless with Sayomi's silver lock, which she leaves loose.

"Well?" Sayomi smirks and twirls around once, "How do I look, my dear?" Nawin stops in front. "Wow," is all he can muster out of his lip, which causes the Pureblood to laugh lightly. "I take it you like it then," "Like it? I love it, Sayomi. You look beyond gorgeous." Holding onto Nawin's shoulder, Sayomi wears a warm smile "You look dashing yourself, my dear. I can't ask for a better husband."

Even though the last part was said with a teasing tone, Nawin can't help but get a bit flustered by being called that. "Same can be said about you, Sayomi... I will be the happiest person in the world if I have you as my wife." Those words stun Sayomi for a second before her face breaks into a bright smile.

"How about this..." Sayomi wraps her arms around Nawin's shoulder. He responds by bringing his hands up and holding her waist. "Let's make a promise here." "A promise?" "Yes." "This will be our first promise in years," Sayomi warmly smile. "We constantly used to promise each other the silliest of things, but we always completed them." Nawin smile as well, fond memories resurface in his mind. "So, Nawin Makasha. In the future... When the time is right, will you marry me?" "... Of course, I'll marry you, Sayomi Dracul," Nawin whispers as sparks of tears starts falling from his eyes.

Sliding her hands up Nawin's cheeks, Sayomi gently brushes away the tears. She, too, wanted to cry in joy but stayed strong. Although the broad smile on her face displays the amount of happiness she felt clearly. Without needing to say anymore, both lean in and exchange a tender kiss.

While this moment is happening, the owner silently stands on the carpet and taking the photos. She smiles when looking at the couple through the lens. The amount of love shown in the mesmerizing scene before the woman has her whisper out two words. "Eternal love."

"Hey," Kuroka's cat ears perk by a familiar voice calling her from the other side. The front door opens to reveal Vali. He takes a step into the dark room and sees the Nekoshou meditating in the center of the floor. Candles burning purple flames are planted around her in the shape of a circle.

"Is this what you've been doing lately?" Vali asks, crossing his arms and leans on the doorway. Kuroka's eyes snap open, and the candles go out due to her loss of concentration. "I was ordered to remain here, nya." Kuroka pouts, resting an elbow on her thighs, her chin sits above the knuckles. "Been bored. I'd rather be out there then cramped up here." "Missing Nawin already?" Those teasing words cause Kuroka's expression to turn flustered, she snaps a glare over to the silver-haired man.

Vali cracks a chuckle, but it quickly ends as his expression sharpens. "Dropping the fun... You won't be here any longer," he states. Kuroka gracefully raises to her feet then cocks her head to the side "What do you mean?" "Ophis has requested you... You'll be taking her to Kuoh." The calm posture Kuroka has grows tense as her expression turns serious. "I see."

Getting off the wall, Vali gives a look of support for a second before turning around. "Keep your emotions in control, Kuroka." With those words of advice said, Vali exits the room and disappears. Kuroka remains in place for a moment before release a shaky sigh. She knows of Ophis's intention to go to Kuoh. Suppressing the confliction appearing in her eyes, Kuroka turns stoic and walks out of her room, slamming the door shut.

Kuoh

The sun has already set and replace with the starry night. Linking their arms together, Nawin and Sayomi walk through the quiet street, heading back to the Gray Lotus Motel. "You like them?" Nawin asks, wearing a warm smile as he glances over to see Sayomi examining the photos with keen eyes. Sliding them down to the folder, she nods in satisfaction. "Even though that woman was a bit much... I must admit she took excellent photos" "I agree. I was surprised by how well they were shot when she handed them over to me."

Carrying the folders on her other arm, Sayomi takes a deep breath of the cold night air before exhaling. "So," she turns to Nawin. "What do you want to do tonight?" "... Food delivery?" Sayomi sends an amusing smirk, "Lazy, are we?" "We can order Romanian food" "Oh, playing dirty here, my dear. Trying to sway me with my love for Romanian food," "Is it working?" "... It is." The two share a chuckle.

"Though," Sayomi looks up to the sky, her smile widens, "Speaking of Romanian... There is somewhere I want to take you tomorrow. I want you to meet someone." Nawin perks, "Who would that be?" "I won't spoil. You should see her for yourself rather than have me remind you," "Someone from my past?" "Yes." Knowing that's all he'll get, Nawin goes quiet and keeps his curiosity at bay.

As they cross a street, the Gray Lotus can be seen past a house. Nawin pulls out his phone and opens it, planning to find a good Romanian restaurant nearby. Before he can open an app, Sayomi suddenly stops, which also forced him to do the same. Nawin blinks, and before he can question, his eyes snap wide at this feeling. He looks up to meet eyes with his Knight, Akame.

Standing there in front of the Motel, as if she has been waiting around. Akame stares at the couple with a look of speechlessness plastered on her face. Seeing Sayomi's sharp eyes gazing back at her. Seeing the look of shock on Nawin's face. Then notice that both have their arms linked like a couple. Akame couldn't think straight and simply utters "What is this?" "...Akame."
