Severus was stared at the picture of him and Lily on the crack and crumbling wall of his falling apart home, no the appropriate word was house not home. in the picture she was smiling and laughing while he was shying away and blushing. he missed her so much, her laugh, her bright green eyes, dazzling smile, her intelligent mind hungry to learn, her kindness, her confidence and loving heart; and all of it was dampened by Potter. he didn't see her smile as much after the marriage. nor did she make charms as she used too. she was always so smart, that's why he loved her so much. Potter didn't even have much too do with Lily when she was pregnant.
that thought hit him pretty hard. he took another sip of whiskey. that was right he didn't have much to do with pregnant Lily. probably because he was with his mistress when he found out he was having girl. no he can't let his first born child be girl can he. Potter was always such an asshole. he could see him doing that, knocking up another woman so he can have a boy. oh but fuck your wife and daughter; sure James you can do no wrong. he could see Potter thinking something like that. his brain was swimming before he passed out on the couch.
" the first thing he saw was Lily crying on the ground. " why did you let me die Severus? " he looked at her in shock. " Lily..." as soon as he blinked she was gone. he got up and looked for her. running anywhere she could be, before he ran out the back door and walked into her funeral. her casket was already buried. some people already left but many more were weeping for her. he soon left a hand on his shoulder.
he couldn't quite remember recognize the voice. " i'm sorry for your loss.. "
he woke up in a cold sweat, gasping for air. he calmed down and damned the dream he's had over and over since lily's death.
Sirius was confused that morning.why would the dark lord help a muggle by bringing back his father? why take in another child? why take in Holly? he can take a guess why he wanted to raise Holly, she's powerful but so was the other girl must likely. but Holly raised the bar so to speak. it wracked his mind as to why he was doing all this? to get brownies points, to lull them into a false sense of security? what? he didn't know but he If Lily trusted him he couldn't do anything about it. he laid on the couch with his paws holding the pillow.
he'll find out sooner or later. just as Sirius was about to get up to greet Holly and them, when a man walked in. he sat down and watched the child learn about magic history. it was the story of Akio the mage, he studied the ways of magic and found new ways to perform it.
he watched as the children smiled and saw the man move about the pages as his story was told. David was still amazed by what he saw. he liked learning about the hidden history of the world he never would have known other wise.
during the fast moving end of weekend Tom and Lily got everything ready for Mister Polkiss to re-enter the world of the living as a new man. the children were up early for there lessons , they wanted to learn more about the history of magic and the people who helped reinvented magic in amazing ways no one thought of before.
Holly wanted to learn about Azar the brave from persia, while Delphini wanted to learn about Bernadette the wise from France. Dudley wanted to learn about Vulcan the warrior, and Piers wanted the learn about Venus the beautiful.
Lily knew about her, and she may have been beautiful but her was brutal if you broke her heart. it was only breakfast time and everyone already knew what they wanted to learn about next. Tom was proud to see them eager to learn about they're history. he was more then happy to teach them and tell them story's of wixen's past. that was before he remembered he had a long meeting planned to day. he had to do something about Dumbledore and his order of the extra crispy KFC meal and the ministry. so it will be a long, long day ahead of him.
he took in and deep breath to get a hold of his frustration and groaned " sorry Lily i forgot i had a meeting today. " Lily looked worried before she nodded. " will they walk around. it's an hour long meeting. " he didn't look to happy but nodded back. Lily smiled and looked at Holly and Delphini. " you know i almost forgot to give you all wixen names " they all got excited about it and started to talk each other. " we'll do that in the living room after you all eat. ok? " they all eat as quickly as possible before they ran to the living room together.
Tom and Lily both took a breath. they need to make sure Holly and them don't say their real names. Tom looked at her and asked her an odd question. " did you name her Holly or was that james? " Lily smiled a bit before she rolled her eyes. " James, he nagged me because Holly
was a Christmas flower that means peace and goodwill. so i caved but he also picked her middle name. " Tom looked at her. " so what did you want to name her ? " Lily took a deep breath and smiled a bit. " Dahlia, i always thought it was a beautiful names, i also like the meaning of the name. "
Tom smiled and chuckled, he too like the name Dahlia. it sounded she already had the nick name Dolly so it worked. " you know i like that name. " Lily gave smile back. " thank you " they talked about what to do and names they should use. they ate and chatted coming up with names " Holly would be Dahlia , Delphini would be Daphne, Dudley would be Basil or Bud and Piers would be Pierre or Parry. they both finished eating and gave each other a hug before they separated. went to the living room where the kids were reading along with the magical story books.
but when they noticed Lily they all got up and ran too her with smiles. and just as promised she gave them wixen names. she knew they use them in front of the guests that were going to be here soon.
Tom walked to the meeting room and sat as his desk as people started to arrive. the Malfoy's were first. they were always one time and first for most meetings as more people started
come he noticed one person was once again late. Severus , he soon arrived looking tired and bit homeless. his hair was a mess, his cloth were disheveled, his shoes were worn and he had 5-ish a clock shadow on his face. he looked rough. he soon began his meeting.
Severus held his head in his head as the meeting began, he was almost sure it was his personal hell. but he could at least he could find the child and the mother and see kind of trouble they're in.
after an hour or they were free to stretch their limbs. Severus sneaked off to the hally way the first chance he got and wondered around before he laughed of multiple children. he's blood ran cold, did he have more then one child? a shiver quickly ran up his spine. god he hoped not. when he made it to the door way of the living room he saw a woman with fiery red hair in curls, with gold-ish skin, and was wearing a white blouse and fades jeans. he noticed more then one child... two boys and two girls. he felt bad for her when he saw how many kids there were.
when he saw what the kids liked he took note. two girls with black curled hair and two boys that were cubby and one with buck teeth. he was half sure they weren't the dark lord's. the girls he wasn't sure on either. when one of the girl caught his attention.
it was the youngest one " mommy look! " she said, her eyes were bright shade of green. when the mother turned to look at her snap saw the same green eyes as the child. the child cupped her hands together and made flowers bloom from seeds in her hand. " see! " the child was beaming a bright smile as she showed how powerful she was. snape felt terrified that she might be the dark lord's daughter.
he turned his head and saw the other girl look a bit sad but smiled. he saw the mother's full face when she turned to look at other children and all he could think was Lily. she had Lily's eyes, her freckles, her lips. he wanted to says something but didn't.
he eventually walked in and all the children stared at him. the girl with green eyes looked confused. " mommy, is he one of daddy's employees from his business? " snape looked confused before the mother answered. " why yes I believe he is? wanna tell him your name? " the girl smiled at him. " I'm Dahlia! " " I'm Daphne " " I'm Basil! " " and I'm Parry! " the child took turns saying they're names with smiles.
he then felt a push from behind. " oh you are all so cute! " it was nosy Narissa once again. the oldest child smiled at her and went back to her book. " are you our Lord's wife " Narissa was being blunt but she had to know. the woman smiled and nodded. " yes, I'm Lotus. it's nice to meet you both. these are my daughter's Dahlia she the youngest she's 5 and this is Daphne the oldest. she's 7 " Narissa looked at both children and fell in love. the youngest was her son's age she could see them being friends when they get older.
Severus let the information sink in. the dark lord had daughter's, the thought was truly terrifying. but what of the two boys? were they their half siblings or something? and why were they dressed like muggle children?
his question was apparently ask and Lil- Lotus was answering it. " oh the children like to visit the muggle world. I wanted to show them were I grow up " Severus and Narissa both looked at her.
she was a muggle born. their Lord married a muggle born. it baffled them both. soon more people poured in to see the children. they ohh'd and aww'd at them their Lord walked and the youngest ran to him. " Daddy! " she cheered. " is the business meeting over? " they stared at their Lord in shock. he had laughed and pick her up; kissing her head as he held her close. " no we took a break for little while. " he smiled before he put the youngest down and walked to his oldest and kissed her head. the girl laughed and giggled. " dad! " she smiled and hugged him back.
Severus felt like he was in the Twilight zone or something cheesy b movie. to be honest he was waiting for the dark lord to start singing kumbaya before he wakes up on the floor half drunk. Narissa on the other hand thought it was sweet seeing their Lord looked so happy.
everything became a whirlwind and their break was over. when they got back he noticed that Narissa was smiling while Lucius was chatting with Florian Greengrass. after an hour or two they were allowed to leave. snape left at the same time with everyone else.
he pop to his home and the for the first time in four years didn't wanna drink while he was home. he simply cleaned up and took note of what he learned. the dark lord had a wife and two daughters, he had a black dog that seemed to glare at him, his wife was a muggle born and she no one her family name. not even the one before he marriage. it was odd. she looked around Lily's age.
with the time for the oder meeting came, he calmly walked over to the living room mirror and fixed his hair.
Dumbledore watched as everyone soon showed up. the the one thing he didn't really expect was for Severus to show up looking clean and fixed up. he thought he would've looked worse for wear when he got back from the meeting with Voldemort. he cleared his throat making sure everyone quieted down. " Severus do you mind telling us what happened at the meeting with lord Voldemort " everyone stiffened when they heard his name. Severus walked up and looked over everyone as he cleared his throat. " well he thinks the ministries of high magic are buffoons. he's waiting for the order to mess up. he believes Hogwarts is falling a part and the dark lord as wife and two daughter's. where do you all want to begin? " everyone looked at him in stunded silence. Molly spoke up first. " he has two?! " she looked surprised as Arthur held his wife's hand. " yes " Severus replied. " they are 5 and 7 years old. Dahlia is the youngest and the oldest is Daphne. "
the dark lord had a 5 and 7 year old. worry for those poor children was kicking in. her twins and ron were the same ages as them. Molly looked with worry now. " are they old?... " Severus took a breath and began to speak. " they are happy and cheerful, but I'll have to keep an eyes the oldest. she seems a bit jealous of the youngest because she shows more powerful then an adult. " Albus felt his jaw drop when he hard that. " but she asked if i was one of the dark lords employees? his wife and daughters think he runs a business " he saw the shock on people's face as he heard some spitting and sputtering." but what surprised me the most was his wife "
everyone looked at him, not believing it could get weirder after that. " she looks a lot like Lily but her name is Lotus. I'm almost sure he found someone who looked like Lily to cause me pain. she has the same eyes, the same red hair, the same lips, the same freckles. but she's a little taller then Lily. her hair is curly, she has gold-ish olive skin. " they had noticed he was rambling on about her. Albus cleared his throat again. " anything else serverus? " he looked flustered be fore he continued.
" yes, his wife is a muggle born, she also didn't tell us what he last name was. but the weirdest thing is that the dark lord daughter's looked so happy to see him and even hugged him. " no one could wrap their head around that.
Molly tried to picture it but it felt so wrong. Minerva could only see that happened when the world ended. she'll have to be on look out for that. Moody was cleaning out is ears and pinching himself. Arther could understand it more or less. if you love your children, you'd be willing to change for them and do anything for them. no matter what. he felt a crumb of respect for him now.
when the meeting ended and everyone at left Albus scowled and began to rant and rave. " i'll have to find out where Tom's lives and remind him of what he's supposed to be. he's to be the dark lord! not some leave it to beaver father type! how dare he try to much up my perfect plans! " what he didn't notice was Fawkes sitting on top of the ceiling beams. waiting for the perfect shot. and when albus sat down was the perfect time.
he knew it was impossible for hime to truly smirk but hearing Albus scream and curse about the crap in his robes was funny but him not noticing the crap on his cap and back of his robe took the cake. he didn't make sounded untill he left the room and began to laugh and caw.
