Hell Is Other People
Charlie gasped as she exited her trance with John, standing up quickly.
"I'm sorry…" Charlie started.
"It's alright, love," John sighed. They had barely gotten to hell when Charlie wanted to back out.
"It's not, but thanks for the words of comfort," Charlie groaned as she stepped out of the ritual circle.
"It's just baby steps. But we do need to speed it up sooner, rather than later. The last piece of the Loom…" John began.
"I know, I know… It's just… it's Hell," Charlie sighed, biting her lip as she held her head now. "I've never been there, and to suddenly go in search of my sisters. Sisters I condemned there. I highly doubt it will be a warm welcome. You remember the Astra Logue visit last year."
"All too well," John mused, remembering when Ms Logue confronted them over a year ago, causing him to temporarily banish her far away. "Perhaps we should have started with something simpler?" John moved on, not having moved from his spot on the floor. "Maybe the upper levels of the circle of Hell… I prefer Lust as a good introduction–"
"No. I'm sorry John, but not now – not today," with that, Charlie ran to the door as John sighed and forced himself up.
"Charlie – come on!" He called, but she was already out of the front door. He sighed to himself. "Maybe this wasn't a good idea. But she needs to face her past – she knows that," he told himself.
He turned back to look at his empty apartment, noticing his cell was flashing on the nearby coffee table. "Oh?" He remarked to himself, picking it up and noticing a voicemail.
"Hey, John, call me back when you get the chance," the voicemail of Barry Allen stated. "I have someone you may be interested in here. Magic user apparently."
"Interesting…" John muttered to himself. He needed a distraction after the disaster that was Charlie's first attempt into hell. Maybe this was it?
-SuperEarth-
It was a few weeks later, glad of the distractions from a constantly distracted Charlie, that John felt he had to say something to Kara and Barry. Ever since their introduction the same day Charlie had ran from him, he'd been training AJ with her magic and, having been surprised by her raw connection to the source, after doing his own research, knew what she was. Or more specifically, where she really came from.
"AJ's a very interesting girl," John stated to the couple after AJ had left to go back to her brother.
"Yeah. I'm not sure why she needs to do magic training here though," Kara pointed out – they had had to send Zari and Adri to Barry's parents while AJ was here, as uncontrolled magic wasn't something they wanted to present to the two young girls so soon.
"Because Ray Palmer doesn't know you two are the Flash and Supergirl and AJ promised she wouldn't tell him until you guys were ready," John pointed out.
"There is STAR Labs…" Barry reminded the man.
"It's undergoing reconstruction from that explosion in the New Year," John pointed out. "Plus, security has gotten tight now thanks to yours and Ray's joint project."
"True," Barry smirked at this. Already his income had increased exponentially due to the project – and it hadn't even been revealed to the public yet!
"Well, what's this about AJ?" Kara asked. Now being nearly seven months pregnant – with twins – she was enormous and very grumpy. It was all Barry could do to keep sending calming vibes to his wife through their Kryptonian bond, so that she didn't explode in random anger some days.
"She's a child of the Seven Forces," John stated, looking directly at Kara as he said this.
"Wait, what?" Kara blinked at this.
"The Seven Forces?" Barry asked. "Like the Speed Force?"
"Like the Speed Force, but not her. One of her siblings," John stated, "and as a Paragon, Kara, you know what that means."
"I do?" Kara frowned at this. "We needed to go into the Speed Force to get to the World Forge, but the others weren't really mentioned." She spoke of her time and experience during Crisis, of course.
"She's important. Like Rachel Garricks are. Rachel – any Rachel Garrick – is the true child of the Speed Force," John explained for Barry now, "while you, yourself, Barry, are a child of the Speed Force too, but Rachel is more so a child than you. AJ is the child of another Force. The Sphere of the Gods, to be precise."
"What does that mean then?" Barry asked, frowning.
"It means, due to her connection to the Sphere, the most magical of Forces, her powers could be unlimited. I remember hearing from Karry Universe how New Justice Rachel once lost herself, her connection to the Speed Force was raw and terrible when she practically killed their Maxwell Lord. Just how… terrifying that was. Imagine that sort of thing, but with magic involved…" John remarked.
"It's Enchantress all over again," Kara groaned.
"No. Not this time," John stated. "Enchantress, indeed, got her powers directly from the Sphere, but that was through manipulation by Mar Novu – the original Monitor. AJ's powers are direct, and for a reason. She's here for a higher purpose… what that is though, I cannot tell."
"She's not even on this world though," Barry pointed out, "or any other. Alex did a check on the multiverse system to see if other Rays had sisters – none of them did."
"Because she's unique," John stated.
"But Raes and me are everywhere," Barry pointed out.
"The Speed Force had an interest in the multiverse for generations – able to put the right people, the correct DNA together in the long run to make you and Rachel, and by extension Wally West, Jesse Wells and even Lena–" John said.
"Lena?" Barry and Kara asked as one.
"Not important now. The point is, it's only since Crisis that the other Forces placed a true interest in the multiverse, which is where AJ comes in," John explained.
"Crisis was only last year," Kara pointed out. "And AJ's not a year old and neither can she be a creation of us Paragons like Cora Jor-Els have been. We didn't know her before to make her."
"The Forces of the Universes are outside of time, outside of space," John stated, "it wouldn't be too much trouble for the Sphere of the Gods to plant AJ in the recent past. Probably even easier if the world she put her on was undergoing major changes during Crisis. Then, connected her to the important people her sister made. I mean, it's ingenious, really, when you think about it. The best way to get her child to the center is to place her just off-center and find her way in naturally. That she has done by being Ray Palmer's sister, who is ATOM across most of the multiverse. A valued member of most Justice Leagues or Societies."
"But Ray is not ATOM on her world," Kara added to this.
"It might be why she's jumping the multiverse right now. I think the Sphere has done this herself," John said. "To push her child into the center. Towards you two and the others."
"Okay, but what does this all mean?" Barry asked.
"I honestly don't know. I'm sure AJ's only the first of many Children of the Forces inserted into the multiverse. They were once happy with just the Totems of Zambezi, but this is more – this is different," John bemused.
"The Forces made the Totems?" Kara asked, knowing of Mari and her Spirit Totem.
"The Sphere made the Gems, the other Forces imbued them with their powers," John explained. "The Speed Force has the Air Totem, for example. It's ironic that AJ's brother's first training session was with Mari, when you think about it, given his new connection to the Sphere and the Forces and the Totems themselves."
Before Barry and Kara could respond to this, the doorbell went.
"Hold that thought," Barry stated to John, getting up from the kitchen barstool where they had been talking to head to the front door. Opening it, he was surprised by the two people waiting for him. Both dark in complexion, one elderly, one young, the Spirit Totem visible on the younger's neck.
"Mari?" Barry remarked. "What a coincidence – we were just talking about you. Who's this…?"
"My name in Amaya Tyler and I've been looking for you," the elderly woman stated, surprising Barry as she moved forward, batting Barry away with her cane. It was all the speedster could do but step aside so as not to be trampled or beaten by the old woman.
"Urm, welcome, come on in?" Barry stated as Mari mouthed 'sorry' to him while Amaya took in the house.
"Oh, I feel the presence of the other…" Amaya breathed as Kara and John joined them in the entrance hall, curious.
"The other?" Barry asked.
"Hi Mari," Kara added as the other woman smiled at her friend.
"Hey," Mari stated, not quite as pleasant as she normally was due to the elder woman with her.
"Amaya Tyler," John sighed as the old woman met his eyes with a smirk.
"You're meant to be dead," Amaya pointed out.
"Technically I am," John chuckled. "I'm not the same John."
"You're a man of many mysteries, John Constantine. Tell me, Mr Allen," she didn't even take a breath as she changed tact. "You have the lost Totem in this house?"
"I… what? One of the Totems of Zambezi?" Barry asked, confused by this. John raised his eyebrows at this revelation.
"Yes. I sense the lost one here. When you spend your life both studying them and using one, you feel that connection," Amaya stated. "I taught my granddaughter everything she knew to be Vixen – I was the original, after all."
"Oh, your Mari's grandmother. That makes sense," Barry said, since Amaya had not been introduced to them before she came in and started to talk regardless. "The original Vixen? Okay, that's pretty cool," Barry now directed them into the lounge as Kara moved to sit down, listening in.
"As she likes to remind me at least once a day," Mari pointed out with a sigh. Amaya lightly hit her granddaughter around the ankles with her cane.
"But the Totem here… No, no it's not ready. It's not the one I'm here about anyway," Amaya stated, causing Barry to frown at this. There was a Totem in his house that wasn't ready? Unless it was in the house when they moved in, he didn't have a clue what this meant.
"How can we help?" Kara asked from her chair, sighing a little.
"Yes. Yes, you can help with this," Amaya stated, pulling from her person a small box, revealing a jet-black stone inside. She took a seat too, now.
"The Death Totem," John remarked, shocked from next to Barry.
"The Death Totem," Amaya confirmed to John. "My most recent spirit quest into the Totem world taught me something important. Although the spirits wouldn't tell me exactly, the Death Totem's owner is here in America."
"What about the other Totems?" John asked.
"Only one has a bearer in this age – the Spirit Totem," she nodded to her granddaughter. "Passed down the generations. All the others remain with me in my village. Except for the Air Totem, which has been missing for generations."
"Which means the one you detected here would be that Totem?" John pointed out.
"It would. But it doesn't want to be found yet," Amaya explained cryptically. Barry was very confused, and Kara had long since mentally left the conversation.
"So, the Death Totem has finally decided it needs an owner, then?" John asked.
"It is the first to. I believe the others are starting to wake up.. If all the Totems are starting to wake up and choose bearers, it means something is coming," Amaya mused. "But for centuries the Death Totem has remained, kept locked away by my family's tribe," Amaya continued. "Once a generation we walk the Death Totem's path, to find if it's ready and I discovered that, finally, it is. A unique set of circumstances has allowed the perfect owner to be created – and they are connected to you, Mr Allen."
"Me?" Barry asked.
"Indeed. I have been informed by the spirits that the new owner is a young woman, a relation of yours, who lost their own soul for a while to an agent of evil, became that agent themselves, and then lost her own powers to fight an unknown encroaching death – and in so doing, became the perfect candidate to handle the Totem's raw powers," Amaya spoke cryptically.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," Kara groaned at this reveal, having perked up at the mention of the Totems.
"Yeah, we know exactly who that is," John added as Barry, too, sighed.
"My sister: Amelia," Barry stated, knowing full well who the description meant. It made sense after all - Karry Universe's Amelia was the bearer of her Earth's Death Totem.
-SuperEarth-
After the reveal of whom the Death Totem had chosen, Barry had taken Amaya and Mari off to see his sister, so John had returned to his apartment. Charlie was waiting for him while Raven was at work, as usual, but it was nice to see a friendly face - even if, strictly speaking, it wasn't Charlie's actual face.
"I've been thinking," Charlie voiced, with John raising an eyebrow, "I'm ready."
"You sure?" John asked, opening the apartment door to let her in.
"Time is running out, I have to confront my sisters before it does," Charlie admitted.
"Quite right," John remarked, closing the door behind them now they were in the apartment. "You've been avoiding me for weeks," he added now.
"I'm sorry about that. But, I am ready," Charlie repeated. "Take me to hell. Take me to see my sisters."
"No backing out this time?" John asked, leading her into the room with the symbols on the floor – the third bedroom of this flat, now converted to do such rituals.
"No backing out," Charlie nodded, squatting in front of John now.
"I like this change in attitude… Clotho," John remarked as he started chanting. Charlie raised her eyebrow at the name change but held her breath as she now sat down and closed her eyes. "Remember," John suddenly added, "the transition to hell is painless, but a little disorientating."
"I know," Charlie sighed, letting the magic wash over her as her mind was transported far below, into a different plain of existence.
Charlie was aware that there are different versions of Heaven and of Hell, but where she arrived wasn't exactly what she expected – it looked like a back alley in a dangerous part of a neighbourhood most would prefer to walk past. And it seemed it was constantly night here.
"Well, here we are. This is one of many hell realms, but the one your sisters are stuck here," John sighed but paused as he looked to Charlie. "Oh…"
"What?" Charlie asked, getting her bearings on this hell.
"It's just… I didn't expect…" John muttered, the. said some words and a handheld mirror appeared in his hand, which he held out to Charlie. Looking at her reflection she was shocked not to see the face she had chosen, but instead the face she had originated, the one she was created with.
"I guess it's this place," Charlie sighed as she concentrated, trying to change her appearance back, but nothing happened. "That's odd…"
"Well, as I live and breathe," a new voice spoke, and both turned to see a petite, pale, brown-haired woman in a Victorian outfit. "Clotho herself."
"Hello, Johanna," Charlie sighed, recognising John's own ancestor; she'd had her dealings with the late Johanna Constantine in the past.
"I see you've finally decided to confront the other Fates," Johanna smirked.
"Yes," Charlie stated bluntly.
"Well, you may be too late. They keep themselves to themselves, but rumor has it they have their third in Astra Logue these days," Johanna explained.
"I guess they didn't need to kill me to make her their third, then," Charlie remarked, remembering the threat Astra Logue had made to her last year.
"That was an empty threat," John spoke up to Charlie's musing.
"Oh, Johnny-boy, your other self is busy. He's playing cards with Damien Darkh," Johanna remarked, causing John to raise an eyebrow. "As for me… I could use some fun. It gets boring down here in hell."
"What exactly did you do to end up in hell?" Charlie had to ask the woman.
"My profession led me here," Johanna shrugged. "You forget, back in my day any dealings with demons and the devil automatically put you on the blacklist, so to speak, with the church – so here I am."
"That's a shame," Charlie remarked, not sure what else to say to this.
"Well, come on – I know just where your sisters are, Clotho," John stated, starting to move. It didn't help that the trio were getting looks from the lost souls flitting by.

In Coast City, Mila had just come home from her job in the comic book store. Crystal Snow was in the kitchen already, getting supper prepared for the pair of them.
"Is that meatloaf?" Mila asked, smiling at her girlfriend, smelling the meat from here in the lounge.
"In the oven and on the radio," Crystal pointed out, a rock radio channel playing quietly in the background. "Bat Out of Hell is one of my favorite songs."
"Nah, it's gotta be Paradise by the Dashboard Light," Mila countered.
"That is definitely a top five," Crystal reasoned. "Then again, Hot Patootie from Rocky Horror is my second favorite."
"We're not watching Rocky Horror again," Mila countered, having put her coat and shoes away to join her girlfriend in the kitchen.
"Nah, I think we should just see what's on television tonight," Crystal smiled.
"Speaking of television…" Mila started but didn't get to stop as there was a flash and a gust of air as her very own brother had appeared in the room with an elderly dark woman, the latter looking a little flustered. "Barry?" Mila paused at this change of event.
"Hi," Barry smiled. "I'm sorry to interrupt… whatever this is…?" Kara had obviously unlocked his mind of the events of Crisis, and he was aware that before Crisis, his sister and Crystal Snow were dabbling in a relationship, but post-Crisis they seemed to be a couple already. Maybe that was due to Kara wanting to give Mila some sort of happy ending, despite not liking her, so had changed the situation when rebooting the multiverse with her fellow Paragons.
"We're just discussing TV tonight," Mila stated simply.
"Meatloaf is in the oven, but I didn't make enough for guests," Crystal pointed out.
"This is only a flying visit, I think," Barry stated, just as there was a knock on the window, and everyone turned to see Vixen through the glass.
"Oh, do you mind?" Barry asked, but moved over to open the window anyway, the woman having sped to the city as a cheetah but flown up to the apartment as a bird.
"Be my guest…" Mila frowned as Barry opened the window, letting Vixen in. The pair recognised Vixen instantly, of course.
"What do we owe to this visit?" Crystal was the one to ask this.
"I am," Amaya stated, giving a little nod to both women. "My name is Amaya Tyler, and I was once Vixen. Now I am a guardian of the Totems of Zambezi and one of them has chosen you, Amelia Allen."
"Wait, what?" Mila paused at this. "The Totems…? I remember my Karry counterpart explaining them to me once, she's the bearer of the Death Totem."
"She is," Barry nodded, biting his lip.
"Hang on," Mila put the pieces together quickly. "Am I the bearer of this world's Death Totem?"
"You are," Vixen stated, a small, curious smile on her face. "Or, you should be."
"No," Mila shook her head, glaring at the newcomers. "I know that the Totems come together with powers. I lost mine. I'm happy without powers. That's all in the past – I don't want anymore powers. I don't think I'm allowed them, in fact."
"Yeah, that is a point," Barry turned to Amaya at this. "Due to the whole Enchantress thing, being stripped of power is her punishment for… well, everything."
"Thanks for the reminder, brother," Mila rolled her eyes at this.
"Well, if that's all…?" Crystal began.
"No, it is not all," Amaya stated, hitting Barry with her cane again as she took the small box from her person once more, and opened it before anyone could react.
The effect was instant for Mila. She couldn't take her eyes off the rock within the box, and she could feel it calling to her instantly. It felt familiar, like a family member she'd known all her life but hadn't seen in a while. Instinctively she reached out to grab the stone.
"Mila…?" Barry and Crystal said as one.
Picking the stone from the box, an unearthly wind blew within the room, and as she looked up from the rock, she could see more people in the room; ghostly apparitions that were smiling at her before they faded back into invisibility.
"It is done," Amaya smirked to herself.
"I…" Mila shook herself off. "That was weird."
"She said no," Barry said turning to Amaya, a little angry that the old lady had done that after his sister had expressed she didn't want it. "You could have left it in the box and not done that!"
"Barry, she was chosen," Mari spoke up. "We couldn't keep the Death Totem anymore. It's the way of the Totems. It would have called to her eventually even if we hadn't brought it directly to her."
"Well then... I need to talk to Alex," Barry sighed, understanding what Mari meant.
"Yes, I think it's time we return now. Mari?" Amaya looked to her granddaughter who nodded, moving over to her grandmother, who placed the box the Totem had been in one the kitchen counter for Mila.
"I could get you back to Central quicker," Barry pointed out.
"It's not Central where we're going," Mari stated.
"But Allen… both Allens," Amaya looked between Barry and Mila now. "I should let you know something else I have learned. I told you this back in your home, Mr. Allen. There's something coming which the Death Totem and others will be vital in helping with. I don't know much, but the spirit guides have told me things are now in motion that cannot stop what will happen. The other Totems are waking. Amelia–"
"Mila," Crystal and Mila said together.
"Mila, then," Amaya corrected herself. "You can seek training with another. I believe you mentioned your Karry Universe double. The guides have told me she is the most powerful of the Death Totem bearers known. She is your ally."
"If only," Mila sighed as Amaya now moved over to the window with Mari. "I'm sure everyone in the multiverse still hates me for what I did," she muttered, Crystal moving over to take her girlfriend's hand in reassurance.
"Good luck," Mari stated to Barry before she took her grandmother out of the window, flying into the sky – thanks to the Spirit Totem.
"Well, that all was weird," Crystal stated, trying to lighten the mood as she looked back to Mila who was still holding the Death Totem.
"We should go and speak to Alex," Barry decided, moving forward to Mila who looked to him and gave him a simple nod at this.
"I know what I need to say," Mila voiced – it was almost like the Death Totem was telling her what she needed to explain to her foster sister-in-law.
"Good. Because I'm lost," Barry chuckled, taking his sister in his hold as he ran her out of the apartment.
"I'll just… put the meatloaf on a low heat then," Crystal sighed to herself, shaking her head. "And I thought we moved over here to get away from all this hero stuff," she added with a sigh, heading to the oven.
-SuperEarth-
John, Charlie, and Johanna had reached the very edge of this version of hell – despite it being an almost city-like maze, it seemed to have an end, although what was beyond that, Charlie couldn't tell – to find an old ramshackle hut that looked very out of place here.
"They're in there?" Charlie asked the two Constantines.
"Looks can be deceiving," John remarked, smirking now as he approached the front door.
"Not even locked," Charlie remarked, noticing the door was ajar.
"Looks like we're expected," Johanna added as the three paused. "Eldest first," she added, glancing at Charlie, who sighed and rolled her eyes.
Opening the door, the first thing Charlie noticed was the interior resembled an old workshop. Benches and shelves hosted artifacts and unusual inventions the former god could only guess were ways of recreating the Loom or fashioning an escape from this place. Maybe even a way to make Astra their third. The other thing she noticed, was that the place seemed empty.
"There's no one here," Charlie voiced.
"Oh, that's disappointing," Johanna pouted as she and John joined in in the rear.
"It feels like this is a trap," John muttered.
"Let me try…" Charlie moved forward, cautious now. "I come in peace… sisters," she tried.
"You abandoned them!" A new voice spoke, and the three barely ducked to avoid a fireball thrown at their heads as all turned to see a dark girl with long black hair and anger in her eyes.
"Astra!" John stated.
"Hello, again, Johnny Boy," Astra Logue smirked. "You're too late," fire appeared in her hand once more.
"I see it's true and they've given you a power," Charlie remarked.
"I'm their third Sister. They don't need you," Astra Logue remarked back.
"That's debatable," Charlie stated.
"Get out!" Astra Logue now stated, but Johanna jumped forward, holding out her hand and muttered an incantation, surprising Charlie as she held the other woman's powers back.
"You hold no power over us, False God!" Johanna remarked. "Tell us your demands and we shall leave."
"My demands?" Astra Logue scoffed. "My demands! I have none. Lachesis and Atropos, however…"
"Fine. What are their demands?" Charlie spat back.
"And where are they?" John added.
"They're keeping far from you," Astra Logue glared at Charlie at this.
"So much for diplomacy," Charlie sighed. "A wasted trip," she added.
"And their demands?" Johanna reiterated.
"Freedom," Astra Logue remarked.
"Ironic, given what they really want," Charlie pointed out, knowing controlling the Loom of Fate prevented humanity's freedom.
"The last piece of the Loom is almost upon us. When it appears, Lachesis and Atropos will return to the land of the living," John remarked."They don't need anyone to grant them their freedom."
"That's good to know," Astra Logue smirked at the group.
"If that's all…?" Johanna mused, looking now between Charlie, John, and Astra Logue.
"I suppose that is," Charlie stated, "if my sisters are too cowardly to face me, that is."
"Not cowards – they're clever," Astra countered.
"Well, I should tell you now, Ms Logue, you'll never truly be one of us," Charlie glared to the woman. "You were born human, you will never be one of my kind," before Astra Logue could respond, Charlie turned and left, John and Johanna following.
She hadn't got to face her sisters again, but the time would definitely be upon them soon enough when the last piece of the Loom came back into existence and Charlie would have to face the family she had betrayed.
-SuperEarth-
Barry and Mila had spoken to Alex about the Death Totem – it had been a long conversation, and a stressful one, at that. They had left things open-ended though, as Alex had to talk to her superiors about the new factor thrown into Amelia's case.
"Well, she was not happy," Barry stated when he got back home to Kara, having ran Mila back home first - and taken a piece of meatloaf for the road. Kayla and Mon had since joined Kara in the living room.
"Mila?" Kayla asked, confused at this.
"Oh, no, Alex. The Death Totem chose Mila and, well, we had to tell Alex about it given her probation. This external factor has gotten Alex pissed," Barry explained.
"Why? You said the Totem chose her. It's not like she had the chance to reject it," Mon pointed out, knowing a little bit about the Totems of Zambezi due to his time with Zari Tomaz as they hopped the multiverse together looking for their worlds. He and Kayla had long-since figured out that this world's Zari was the same as the Zari they knew, but hasn't said anything, not wanting this knowledge to affect how Barry and Kara raised the girl going forward.
"Mila was only allowed to start a new life away from everything on the condition she no longer had powers," Kara filled the Daxamite in now.
"She had her powers taken away due to a tumor removal – like her Karry double," Barry added.
"Oh yeah. Karry Amelia almost lost her life as a kid. If it weren't for life-saving surgery from her original Caitlin, she would have died," Kayla knew the story. "Although her surgery gave her power, I thought?"
"Well, this had the opposite effect in removing powers," Barry explained. "And because of that, she wasn't deemed a danger to those around her. Now though, with the Death Totem and the powers it can give its bearers, that's thrown a big spanner in the works."
"How big?" Kara asked.
"Move-back-to-Central-with-potential-House-Arrest-big," Barry stated.
"Oh Rao…" Kara groaned.
"Alex is having words with her superiors to find out what can be done, but it's not looking good. Where are the girls?" He only just realized Zari and Adri weren't there. "Are they still with my mom?"
"Yeah. She said she'd take them until you got back," Kara stated, trying not to show her annoyance at Mila's possible return due to the Death Totem, but failing.
"I'll go get them now," Barry stated, sharing a look with Kayla as he leaned in to kiss Kara. Look, it may come to nothing. Besides, you don't have to deal with my sister at the end of the day. Barry reasoned through their bond.
We'll see, Kara replied mentally. She really didn't like Mila - especially right now while the pregnancy made her hormones go wild.
Giving a sad sigh, Barry sped from the house, heading to his mother and father's place, his mind spinning over his wife's dislike of his sister. At least Mila wasn't the biggest Supergirl fan these days, either.
Post-chapter Note: How did you like that? The Totems will become a bit of a thing on SuperEarth going forward, due to plans for season 7 (this is only season 5) and Mila now has the Death Totem. Any guess who, and if, gets the other Totems? And what did you think of me including Johanna Constantine, too? We loved her in Sandman so she's slowly working her way into the Millma Verse now.

Karry Co-Master OUT!
