05x01, 'The Wars to Come'

An uprising of the people who had once been powerful against her new regime, against the freedom of the poor.

Targeting her soldiers. The people who she led from chains. They deserve better than to be slaughtered like sheep.

White Rat was someone Grey Worm liked, she can tell by the iron set of his jaw. She doesn't pretend to understand the rationality of the Unsullied being found in a brothel, but they are not machines. They are rediscovering the humanity that they've been forced to bury so deep inside, and she wants to nurture that. Why should they not be free to love and lust like any other man? They won't harm a single woman, she has every faith in that.

She'd told the others that she intends for the harpies to be angry, to lash out like snakes. They will be poised with their swords, ready to lop their heads off with one single strike. But more than any of that, White Rat deserves to be honoured and buried with dignity. He fought for her vision and she will not allow that to go unremarked.

Jorah might advise caution in all of this. But Jorah is no longer and she has to stop thinking about him. His advice is unwanted and unneeded.

So they will strike, and skin the snake alive.

They can't afford to be suffocated in its coils.
