Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Snow Bitten. Enjoy the 3300-word chapter. I don't own Suicide Squad; DC and a few others do.

Ronsley found himself forced onto a helicopter with his 'team.' There were no orders, no goal. He'd wonder why the hell they didn't simply overpower the pilot and leave.

The pain in the base of his neck reminded him why as of the moment. The dull ache simply reminded him they weren't to leave until they got off base. There was far too little on the line for him to do something either way.

He felt a small paw on his shoulder and turned to be greeted by Ratcatcher's small pet rat. He lightly tapped him on the head. The animal was honestly too adorable for him to hate. He was well aware of the fact that the animals were monsters to people… Similar to how people saw all of the people along this plane.

"Careful. Don't want him to become a popsicle." Snowstorm said through his helmet as he stared straight ahead. "Can't always control this," Snowstorm said while he held his hands in the air.

Neither Peacemaker nor Bloodsport seemed to consider him as they exchanged glances towards the other. He was far more than willing to prepare to let them ignore him. Ronsley was a lot of things, but he wasn't at all an idiot enough to mess with soldiers who both seemed to be able to bend him in half as if he was a twig.

The small rodent seemed to either not notice or not care. He was happy to see the small animal's spirit was not at all damaged by what happened next. He was well aware of what happened if he accidentally harmed the animal by accident. It wasn't honestly something he wished to happen.

The entire squad seemed to be ready for their mission and it showed in how they reached. They wanted to be done and onto the next mission. It wasn't exactly as if they wished to be doing something against their will. Waller didn't care, yet she was also aware all it needed was one small slip and they'd be after the woman.

Then again? If she was this bold to try it? She had to be hiding something. He didn't dare guess at the risk of her finding something that he did which needed to be hidden. If she at all expected him? She'd slice him to pieces and probably the others as well.

"I'm honestly wondering how the hell we aren't expected to rip each other apart," Snowstorm said while he rested his hands before they came down to it.

Snowstorm had known for the fact that this woman was a lot more interesting. He had been surrounded by 20 thousand government agents who would probably shoot him in the spine and then throw him off a cliff.

He felt like he was getting killed at this point and very little was going to happen for now and for the rest of the time being.

He had something else to try and question, an idea that he could just not at all believe for the time. All of it seemed to make it more and more unsure and uncertain of it for now, an idea he didn't know.

This was a job to do and they couldn't afford to back down before now. All of it was going to be harder and harder to figure out, to deal with.

They had a mission; he had decided to handle said mission and that was it. There was nothing else to be done for now. It had been something horrid and over the top for now. it had simply been too odd to fix for now.

The idea had been a lot weirder than it had been before now. it had been something odd for now.

This had been something that needed to be ended. It would be ended for now. it had been something odd that had been done and dusted from now. It had been a lot more to question before it was a lot more to question as now.

What to do next before all is said to be done and dusted? It had been a lot more than it had been all said and done. It couldn't say that he didn't consider it as of now. It had been something fun and cool for now.

He cracked his fingers, interested in what came next. It'd be something for the history books when all there was to this was them seemed as of the question before now. This had been a lot odd as of now.

Ratcatcher cleared her throat, looking at the others. It had been something as of a miracle that they hadn't been ripping the other apart for now. The idea had promise at least. She looked at Snowstorm who had been a lot more to this.

He had been a lot more to question before now. She had been a lot more to handle for now.

It had been a lot more to absorb for now. Snowstorm nodded at her, himself thrown off a bit. He turned to look at her as they exited the room.

"So, a bunch of super-criminals whom all want nothing to do with each other… Going on a government mission." Snowstorm said as he gestured to the others. "That sounds like a movie or something. Like something from the 70s or something." Snowstorm added before he cracked his knuckles.

Snowstorm got a variety of eye rolls or simple gestures to one another. Bloodsport and Peacemaker didn't seem to care, Ratcatcher let out a wry smile, and Polka Dot Man seemed to want to melt into the floor. It made him laugh.

"I'm sorry, I'll shut up. The last thing I want to do is ruffle some death feathers." Snowstorm added before slowly looking around the room. "I just don't know what is going to happen when we get there. There's all this insanity going on and nobody seemed to want to bring it up for now." Snowstorm added before he tilted his head.

"Kid, you're going to get killed in 2 minutes out there," Bloodsport responded to which Snowstorm shrugged.

"Are you telling me I'm going to die period? I'm well aware I'm a bit screwed." Snowstorm added to himself.

"Kid, you have no real idea what will happen if we get into this before now when it came down to it," Bloodsport stated before he rested his hands on his lap.

"Oh, I know. That's why I'm not in charge, boss." Snowstorm said while he folded his hands across his lap. "I just don't expect to deal with all of that. I'm a thief, my skillset is just turning people into snow cones." Snowstorm stated before he frowned to himself.

He sighed to himself before he tilted his head before he glanced around at the others. It wasn't as if this had been a lot more to question before now. There was an odd question before it had been done and dusted as of now. It was a question before it was said and done.

The idea had been a lot more frequent when all of this was said and done before now. Whatever was to come next couldn't be all said and done. It would oddly be more to question when it was said and done. The idea had been something else, a lot more than he could stomach.

Still? if that was to be done and dusted before. He had a lot more to question before it was done and dusted. This was to be something interesting and beyond shocking when all of it was said and done. Whatever came next would be a cool little thing at the time. What was to happen next?

Well, this would be terrifying as of now. It would always be terrifying to know this was honestly a lot more to question when this was said and done before now. It had been something unfathomable when all of this had been questioned as of now.

If nothing else? He had a lot more to handle. A Lot more to focus upon. There was a lot more to question before now about what to handle. There was just something so superior to seeing her in her league, seeing her in such a way that there was just nothing left to break. It hadn't come anywhere close. If nothing else? He was prepared for the worst. If nothing else? It was going to be harder to manage. If nothing else? He was on the case.

"I hope you're ok." He stated that he questioned what would be done before.

If nothing else? He was going to break. There was just some odd little moment of truth. It hadn't yet become something meaningful. If anything? It just made him more focused on realizing it. knowing that she was put in this odd situation.

There was only so much he could properly focus on when it came down to it. There was a lot more focus on this if anything, a lot more nightmares had been caused but it caused more words than it had caused.

If anything? She was the rock he wanted to have in his life, the stone he needed to properly exist within life if anything. He wanted to be strong enough for that to be possible and that was enough for him to be able to pull through it to the end if need be. There was a lot more to properly focus upon if anything. He had been there; he had wanted to be there.

He rubbed at his nose, knowing what was to be expected of him for now. He didn't know what to do next. There was a lot more to question before now. This was so weird and so damn odd for now.

They looked so tired before now. She was a lot more to focus upon as he and she walked outside towards a pair of helicopters… Helicopters which he assumed would have taken him towards whatever he wanted and all there was just the matter of the pilot… Oh what a little cold could do to such a man, all he had to do was rip them apart.

Snowstorm lowered his hands; he wasn't that type of person. Not to someone who didn't have it coming. This was going to have been as of the time his one line in the stand if the others wanted to rip others apart. Sure, but he sure as anything wasn't going to just rip people apart.

Well, not unless it was those guys overseas. Those jerks had it coming. Nobody was that monstrous enough to slaughter kids? Oh, that earned them a one-way ticket to hell, even if it got him killed. This was such an odd little thing that it scared him to pieces before now. This was a sore spot for him and he knew it.

"The general is going to have his head on a damn pike," Snowstorm stated as he sighed, too unsure.

He was tired and focused only on the goal and how to get it down. Then they could relax, find some common ground, anything else and she'd be unable to relax.

Yet? He was exhausted, he was unable to focus now it was a lot more to question before now.

This was such a nightmare; this was such a tragedy. He wasn't going to let it end him, he wasn't going to let it get in his head. He didn't know any better at such a thing. He didn't know and he couldn't have known. It terrified him till the end of his day was going to have come and he didn't know how to end it.

He was still exhausted, unsure of what to focus on at this moment. He was unsure of what to do next. He didn't know what else for now. He was unsure to question what to do next.

He wasn't going to question as of now what had been done and how to have done it. He liked the spunky woman despite her flaws and it was clear she wasn't a monster; she didn't deserve to have to deal with such things… It was clear to him that no matter what? They'd be getting out of here.

It was then he realized just how unwilling life was. It was clear this issue was entirely something he could have handled and it was entirely his problem which had yet questioned while he sighed and looked to the side.

He rubbed at his eyes as the chopper lifted off. it was clear as day to him that such problems weren't going to have been easy to solve. Snowstorm didn't want to kill anyone, not yet… But it was clear if he didn't. Well? He'd damn well be hating and kicking himself tomorrow morning. It was clear beyond all shadow of a doubt that their problems would have brought, perhaps he didn't want to think it through as badly as before.

He tilted his head as if he didn't expect them to be on task so soon. It was clear that such problems had yet to be questioned before this ended. They had more and more of a problem with each other, it was beyond a shadow of a damn doubt something that had to have been properly focused upon. It was clear more and more to him.

"So… Anything that started the rat gimmick or is he just special like that?" Snowstorm asked to which Ratcatcher tilted his head. "Sorry, I didn't entirely think to ask. I didn't want to offend or say something wrong for now." Snowstorm said which also made him sigh and rub at his temples.

Of all the crap he had to have said? That was what he had decided to have gone with? Ugh, it hurt to be him at times.

"Long story…." Snowstorm was told as he nodded before smirking only for a few seconds and looking to the side, pausing, for now, questioning if anything else.

"I owned one… Named Remy, best friend in the world." Snowstorm said before petting Sabastian on the head. "I'm sad to say he's no longer around to grace us…. I'm very annoyed about his departure from our world…. And I do not know what to try and say for it… Part of me will blame myself for his death." Snowstorm said, frowning under his armor.

"A type I am familiar with?" Ratcatcher questioned before looking around.

"Rex of some sort… Got ripped off 5 bucks with him…. Didn't care, was worth it… Lasted a year. I…. Do not wish to discuss it all for now, sorry. It is not a story for now." Snowstorm before looking to the side.

"I understand… I will be glad to speak if you find a minute." Ratcatcher stated before he sighed, utterly tired and utterly worn down.

There's a lot more to try and figure out. This seemed to be more fascinating to deal with properly, all of it became harder and harder to fathom as Snowstorm sighed and looked to the side, unsure more and more.

The small rat dared not get too close, all too eager not to frown it wasn't like he could blame them. The animal was simply scared and not without proper reason, it became easier and easier to fear when they were all too thrown off, utterly terrified, unsure of every small little detail.

"Are you ok?" Ratcatcher asked before he slowly started to look down at the ground.

"No, I am not… Not really, I don't know what to say. I'm very scared, very scared, and tired…" Snowstorm said as he looked down at the ground, something that he really couldn't focus on more and more as of the time being.

He didn't at all know what to say or even do as he knew very little about it, very little beyond what was going to be involved with it all and what had to be done. He didn't at all know what was coming and what was going but he did know that the mission would be a lot worse.

This was violent to a degree that he didn't want to fixate upon as he looked down at the ground, something he could focus upon later. He had to be ready for anything and that meant being willing to throw the rest of the heroes under the bus. He had standards when it came to betraying people though and he didn't steal from those who were worse off, there was just too much of a jerk move on his part for him at the end.

He didn't wish to care at the moment as he knew more and more that their goals were beyond what could keep going and it was hurting, something that truly bugged him at the moment, unsure of it all when push came to shove.

He relaxed, unsure and unable to say much more and more was for now when it came down to it, there was a lot more to see and do, something he had to fight for now.

The helicopter continued towards its destination. It would be hours before then and he guessed the military would quickly take both choppers down.

Welp, he volunteered for something where he was going to probably die, something that bothered him to no end when it came down to it. All of it seemed to be amusing for the time, he had a lot more to try and figure out what to do.

If anything? He was interested, he hadn't had his back thrown into the wall before this and the mission where he got tossed in jail, it was at least interesting for now. He wasn't at all certain for now what he would do when he got there for the time being and didn't at all know what the hell he'd do for now.

Would he beg forgiveness from the enemy? Perhaps sell out… No, damn well no. He was a lot of things, but it wasn't something a coward if he was to die out here? It'd be on the battlefield, dealing with their enemy.

"So… How many of us have gone to war with a warlord and his entire army of war criminals who killed an entire family?" Snowstorm questioned, asking it more as a means to distract, to deflect from his fears and doubts.

Only Ratcatcher seemed to take the bait as she seemed to know him more and more, know what he was doing again and again. There was a feeling of peace between them that he was happy to further, it helped them both on their mission.

That? And Levity was needed if they were doing this. He could do a lot, but joking about things was going to help for now. They had something else to deal with, a measure of what to try and understand.

An idea he didn't at all know, something else that bothered him to the very core of his being, something he didn't need to deal with for now, an idea he could scarcely believe in for now, something he needed to deal with in both measures of the word.
