A whimper escaped from the man's lips, and Tony replied, "Does that answer your question?", as they got closer, and Reva reached out to touch the man's shoulder, "Hello?".
The man's eyes got a bit of life back, unable to move his head as pain is everywhere, and the pupils moved to see Reva and Tony, and the man whispered, "H-help m-me.", before everything got too much for him, and fell unconscious.
"We've got to do something, Tony...", Reva said once more. "Come on, give me a hand, I can carry him back home so we can at least get him some medical attention.".
Tony nodded sharply as he went to pick up the man, cradling him like a baby with Reva helping adjust him in Tony's arms before shifting into her giant wolf form, laying down to help Tony get on easier, holding into her fur while holding the man close to his chest, "Okay, go!".
Reva gave a growl of determination and ran up and out of the pit, through the forest, and leaped over the fence as Tony held on tight, and over the massive field to the main street of Libra Haven, seeing many people still partying outside, turning around in confusion, surprise, and concern to see Reva's familiar face in her wolf form, carrying Tony with a stranger in his arms, running straight to Beast's home/hospital.
"Help!", Tony called out once they finally got to Beast's home and threw open the door. "Beast, we've got a wounded man here!".
Beast widened his eyes, "Oh, crap! Put him there!", pointing to the bed on wheels as Reva shifted back to normal, joining them, and Tony nodded, putting the man on the bed, with Beast starting up the advanced machines, with orders, "Reva, grab the IV bag! Tony, grab the vials and bag of needles!".
"Got it!", Tony shouted as he moved as fast as he could to get things prepared. "Is he going to be alright, Beast?", Reva asked as he shook his head.
"I don't know yet, where did you find him?", Beast asked as Tony and Reva looked at each other, somewhat a bit hesitant to say since they fully didn't know themselves, at least in terms of how he ended up where they found him.
Reva replied slowly, "We found him in the forest...He was in a hole, like he crashed there into the earth...We heard screams of pain...We heard a sonic boom before that...After that, we saw a fireball...crashing into the forest...A big explosion crash...".
Beast frowned, "Nobody could have survived that...He's really burned up and injured, but he's somehow breathing...unless he's of Quantonium...", flicking a needle and went to inject it before blinking in surprise as he couldn't inject it, with the skin somehow impregnatable.
He tried to look for other spots that wasn't bruised or burned up, but it's the same everywhere, and he sighed, hating it, but went to try the burned spots, and the skin was weak, enough to inject the needle of pain-numbing medicine.
"Put the IV needle into one of those weak spots, Tony. This is not definitely Quantonium...Maybe it is his X-Gene, having impregnatable skin...", Beast mused in concern and curiosity.
"Well, whatever it is, I'm not sure about this guy if I'm honest. Falling from the sky and all, not exactly someone I'd trust to be alone in a room with right now.", Tony said as he put in the IV needle. "Hopefully he recovers and can tell us who he is, get some answers.", Beast sighed.
Reva frowned lightly, "Do you think he would remember what happened to him to be like this? If I was in his position, I would easily get amnesia thanks to the huge impact into the earth, and whatever else.".
Beast nodded, "Good point...Either way, we can start small...His name couldn't be hard to remember...", as he went to get the salve and the bandages and a hospital gown for the man.
"Of course, this all depends on if he makes it...", Tony shrugged as Beast nodded, "Right, certainly but so far, I suppose he's much, much stronger than he looks.".
And so, giving the salve and bandages to the couple, he left them to search for a hospital gown in the man's size, and Reva glanced at the man, noting his physique, realizing that he had been nude all this time...
She licked her lips, seeing that he is quite attractive, like bad boy attractive, even with his inky black hair mangled, seeing that plenty of his hair is either scorched or knotted, his body almost like a mix between a runner and a swimmer, and he has an impressive set of balls, a limp yet strong looking rod, and his legs go on for forever.
She spared a glance at Tony who's looking the same way as her, and Reva murmured, "He's really attractive...but a good different from you...", as Tony is more of like genius inventor attractive than bad boy attractive.
"Now I'm hoping he doesn't wake up...", Tony joked as she jabbed him. "Okay, bad joke, I get it.", Tony surrendered with an amused grin. "I really do hope he wakes up... you can't say you're curious about him too, right?", Reva asked.
Tony smiled lightly, "Oh, I am more than curious...I'd love to tap his ass...", glancing at Reva who blinked before smiling at him, "Somehow, I don't mind that...With the other men back at university, I never bothered beyond a second glance, but this man...he is worth more than a second glance, and I hope he goes both ways...I'd love to tap his ass too.".
"Let's just keep that on the down low from the others, alright? Or him? Might freak him out... I mean, he could be asexual for all we know.", Tony said.
Reva nodded, "Yeah. Better to let him recover if he ever wakes up. I doubt he would want to wake up to a sight of us making out and all. Let's make a bet and that will be the last of it we will speak about, deal?".
Tony raised an eyebrow, "What do you have in mind?", and Reva smirked, "I bet that by your birthday, we get to first base with him if we find out that he's attracted to both of us, and if we don't and he isn't, I will make you your favorite cake.".
"Blueberry coffee cake?", Tony widened his eyes, and Reva nodded with a smile, "And what is your bet?", raising an eyebrow curiously.
"Kinda putting me on the spot there, Reva.", Tony rubbed the back of his head. "I guess all I could add is maybe something crazy like a car if we go all the way with him.".
Reva grinned lightly, "All the way, eh? When?", and Tony hummed in thought, "By your birthday, and if we don't succeed or he doesn't swing our way, I'll make you your own personal Iron Woman suit, deal?".
"Deal.", Reva smiled brightly, and they did their secret handshake to seal the deal. And soon, Beast returned with a hospital gown in the man's size, and with assistance, the man was dressed, still out unconscious.
Beast replied, "I think he's bound to wake up in the morning or during the next few days, considering everything he went through.", as he checked the IV bag, glancing at the couple, asking, "Are you staying here for the night, or do you want me to call you the moment he's up?".
Both of them looked to each other as Beast cleared his throat, "Clearly, you two are trying to decide. If you don't want to stay, it's perfectly fine. I can easily tell him that you two rescued him if you wish.".
Tony glanced at Reva who gestured to Beast with a look at the man, and Tony blinked, realizing what she meant by that..."We're staying...We're technically familiar to him, and face it, if he's truly someone who has been under a rock or something, he would freak out at you, Beast...I mean, falling from the sky and all...doubt that he never saw a blue-furred gorilla man.".
"I suppose that's reasonable.", Beast shrugged. "Yeah, wouldn't want him to think if he is from the sky and all that he ended up landing on the Planet of the Apes.", Tony snickered.
Reva snorted, giggling softly, and Beast nodded, "Right, let's settle him in a room with a good view of the outside in case if he gets claustrophobic.".
The couple agreed, helping Beast with the necessary machines, moving the man into one of the rooms with a wide window, settling him in, with Beast replying, "I'll change the IV bag in a few hours and all. Have a good sleep, you two.", before leaving the room.
Reva and Tony sat down on the couch, on the wall, of the right side of the bed where the man will be able to see them if he wakes up, and Reva adjusted the blinds just enough to have a bit of moonlight yet not disturb them or the unconscious man.
"You alright?", Tony asked as Reva chuckled, "Of course, I am, why do you ask?".
"Well, just considering that feeling you said you had before; there's perhaps your answer. Also, more or less in asking since once more, our plans got sidetracked.", Tony replied with a sheepish chuckle.
Reva blinked in surprise before looking thoughtfully at the man, "You know what? You're right...The funny feeling went away the moment we found him. What about you? Did your apprehensive feeling go away?", looking back at Tony.
"Not yet...", Tony admitted. "Of course, it might go away if we get to know this guy, but... I'm still keeping a cautious eye on him for the time being. After all, he is a total stranger to us.".
Reva nodded, "That's more than fair.", before smiling, "At least we're almost done with university.", kissing him on the cheek.
Tony chuckled, "Oh, yeah, and it doesn't hurt that we can come home every evening, thanks to the general.", as they are attending Caltech, which is in Pasadena, only an hour or so away from Libra Haven, but with General Monger's help, they are able to use a private helicopter.
"It's so lucky that we barely started winter break, otherwise, we'd have some trouble in finding time to get to know this guy.", Reva said in relief.
"I just certainly hope everything about him is good. I mean, we say things now but what happens if it turns out that he's a dangerous monster?", Tony raised an eyebrow as Reva shrugged, "We'll take care of it. Our parents handled threats before, we can too.".
Tony nodded, "True. Our parents taught us extremely well.", before yawning softly, "I'm tuckered out.", kissing her on the cheek with a smile. Reva gave a smile back in response, leaning her head on his shoulder, drawing her legs up after she pushed off her shoes, "I'm tired too. I love you, Tony.".
"I love you too, Reva.", Tony replied back to her, holding his arm around her on the back of the couch, "Good night, babe.", closing his eyes, and Reva whispered back, "Good night, honey.", closing her eyes, falling asleep.
The night passed on, quiet and uneventful, with Beast checking in occasionally to change the IV bag and observed any changes in the medical machines, noting that the man hasn't woken up.
Morning came, and the sun soon came peeking through the window, waking the man up slowly and sluggishly. Of course, Reva and Tony were up slightly before. Tony ran out to get them some coffee since it was early while Reva continued to watch over the man, seeing him starting to wake up.
"While you're gone, Tony...", Reva muttered to herself as she got closer to the young man. "Easy, easy, you're alright, you're safe.", she tried to assure the injured man.
He groaned, blinking softly, trying to recognize the woman through his eyes before the few memories of last night came back to him..."You..Y-you were there when I crashed...I thought you were a hallucination...Was the man a hallucination too?", before coughing, his voice dry and sore.
Reva spoke gently, "Easy, sir.", grabbing a drink of water, with a straw, "Here, drink this. It'll help.", and the injured man blinked before sipping, a sigh of relief escaping him as he relished in the cold liquid.
The injured man soon finished, letting go of the straw, and exhaled, wincing and hissing at the pain everywhere in his body, "Where am I?", looking at Reva, and Reva smiled softly, "You're on Earth, in my home of Libra Haven, and you're really hurt bad, sir.".
He blinked softly, frowning, "Earth?...I was falling for a long, long time...I think...", before widening his eyes in fear as he couldn't remember why or how he was falling through space..."I was in the stars...I can't remember! Why couldn't I remember?".
"You hit the ground pretty hard, especially if you were in the stars. You didn't land gently on the ground.", Reva told him. She looked away for a moment as she silently cursed in her mind. He did indeed had amnesia though how bad it was, she didn't know yet.
The man groaned lightly as he could feel the bandages tightening around him if he twitched or moved something and glanced at the IV bag with a bit of confusion, like he hasn't seen it before.
Reva asked softly, "Do you remember your name, at least?", and the man frowned, trying to remember. He definitely remembered the English language...Hello...Lo...Look...Lok...kit... Loki...Loki!
He looked at Reva, speaking softly, "Loki...My name is Loki.", and Reva smiled warmly, "It's nice to meet you, Loki. My name is Reva.", realizing that his accent is a bit foreign, maybe Norwegian...And Loki is not a common name, but rather a rare name...and unique too...
"Anything else you can remember?", Reva asked him as he thought for a few moments before shaking his head. "Well, at least remembering your name is a start...".
Loki gave a small, triumphant, if slightly snarky smile, and Reva blushed as he looked handsome doing that expression, and then heard familiar footsteps, looking up to see Tony walking in with cups of coffee, blinking in surprise and slight wariness as he came closer, "Good to see you up and about. We were starting to wonder if you were ever going to wake up after that nasty crash.", with a slight smile.
Loki blinked at him before nodding, "Everything hurts...I vaguely remember something about being held like a baby...", and Tony chuckled, "That was the only way I could hold you without putting more harm on ya. Name's Tony.".
"My name is Loki...Thank you for helping me...", Loki smiled softly, and Tony nodded, "Hey, we're raised by heroes, so we're pseudo-heroes ourselves, and besides, we ain't that selfish or cruel to leave anybody behind or anything, especially on a cool winter evening. You were lucky to be found quickly otherwise you'd be getting a cold or worse, as you were going commando.".
Loki nodded, understanding most of that before frowning in confusion at the last word, "Commando?", and Tony smirked, "Buck naked.", just as Reva was about to reprimand him, realizing that Tony is in one of his moods, which is probing, and flirting at the same time.
"I see...", Loki blushed at the thought. "Anyway, we quickly got you here so you could be properly taken care of. How are you feeling right now?", Tony asked.
"Well, he apparently has amnesia aside from knowing his name.", Reva explained before Loki could mention his injuries.
Tony whistled lowly, musing thoughtfully, "That's really bad...At least you know most if not all of the English language. Your name and use of the language is more ingrained in you than memories, something about repeated usage in the brain.", falling into his few traits of being a scientist, thanks to his father, though he is preferable to being a genius inventor.
Reva shook her head, seeing Loki's confused and surprised expression, "Don't mind him, he likes to go off on tangents sometimes.", with an amused, fond smile.
"So, I've noticed.", Loki gave a low chuckle as he gripped himself from the pain he was feeling. "Easy, don't try to strain yourself, okay?", Reva told him as Loki nodded and calmed back down.
Tony smiled, "I'll talk to Beast if you can manage to eat something, Loki. After all, you need plenty of energy to help yourself get better.", as he kissed Reva on the cheek, handing her the second coffee cup before leaving.
Loki smiled softly, "Are you together?", politely asking, and Reva smiled warmly, "Yes, but we are open to seeing other people. Have you heard of the term bisexual?".
Shaking his head slightly, "Afraid not...What does that mean?", Loki asked curiously. Reva chuckled, "It means someone's attracted to both genders. Tony is that way while I am technically straight, yet polyamorous which means taking more than one partner...", slightly praying that Loki is not homophobic...Since he asked, she has to explain, and besides, she doesn't want to hurt Loki into thinking that she or Tony isn't available.
