When Edd woke up early the next morning to birdsong in his ears, he was greeted with the sight of Kevin's neck covering his full view. At first, the Omega did nothing, but still in that half asleep state, Edd purred softly and nuzzled into the warm skin, even going so far as to nip at the tender flesh before closing his eyes once more. There was an almost lazy rumble that came from Kevin and it was this that made Edd jolt fully awake.
As quick as he could, Edd tried to scramble away, as best as he could tangled up in a thick blanket. But his actions only made Kevin sleepily reach out for him and wrap his arm around the Omega's waist and pull Double D flush against his chest. Any movement Edd made caused Kevin to tighten his hold and growl softly. The sound passed through Edd and the smaller boy closed his eyes, a tiny moan slipping from his lips as he then moved of his own accord, licking at Kevin's neck, purring once more.
However, the spell was broken when Kevin growled again, louder this time and shifting his weight to press more against Edd. Alarm bells rang in Edd's head as he opened his eyes to see Kevin now staring back, the Alpha's green eyes shining in the gloom of the nook. He moved to catch Double D's chin, tilting it up as he moved down for a kiss. Before they could connect, Double D yelped and fell out of the small nook onto the cooler floor below, he then rushed to get away, leaving Kevin alone. The Alpha's scent souring to that of rotting leaves as he watched the Omega run away from him. He groaned as he rose to his knees, baring his fangs as he felt his hard on protest the lost of the Omega.
"Goddamn it!" he groused, wondering what this will cause.
Edd rushed upstairs, following Marie's scent trail and nearly bumping into her when she left out of Nazz's room. Grunting softly, the blue haired Omega smelled his distress and slight fear and immediately began to calm him, purring softly and pulling him into a reassuring hug.
Edd shivered and pressed his face into Marie's chest, whining softly. Marie shushed him but as she held Edd, she noticed Kevin's scent on him and jumped to her own conclusion.
"That...bastard!" she snarled before gently pushing Edd to the side with a soft command of stay here.
The boy blinked before realizing what was happening and tried to get Marie to stop. "Hold on, no Marie! It's not what you think!" Marie!"
Edd followed after his partner, and unknowingly by him, Nazz as well, just in time to see Marie snarl at Kevin and jump on him.
Omega and Alpha fought, trying to claw and bite but Marie was content to just chew on Kevin's injured shoulder while Kevin tried repeated punched her in the head to make her let go.
"Marie!" Edd yelled at her, only for Nazz to jump in and force the two apart, suffering a punch to the face and a clawed arm in the process.
"Enough! Keep it up and I'll kick you both out!" she snarled, narrowing her eyes at the fighting pair. Edd went down the rest of the stairs to check on Marie but even as he did, he looked over at Kevin, worried over him too.
"The fuck, Marie?" Nazz grumbled once everything calmed down, folding her arms and snorting softly.
Marie shook herself and gave Edd a small smile to show she was okay, despite her head throbbing from Kevin's punches. "I was clubbing him for Edd! The bastard-"
"No, Marie! He...didn't do anything. I just...I just panicked and...I ran." the last part was said only loud enough for Marie to hear and the older Omega cursed under her breath before turning her gaze to the highly pissed off Kevin.
"...Sorry," came the mumbled apology, while Nazz bared her fangs before letting out a soft sigh.
Kevin grunted at the apology before switching his gaze to Double D who flinched when he caught his eye and moved to bury his face in Marie's chest again. The redhead blinked before looking away himself, feeling an odd heavy feeling in his chest.
Nazz looked between the two parties before sighing, raking her fingers through her hair. "What a shitty start to the morning."

A few hours later found Marie and Edd lying close together in the Den. Neither had wanted to stay at Nazz's place, so after going over to Edd's house and both taking a quick shower, they retreated to their sanctuary. Yet before Edd had left Nazz's home, he walked over to Kevin and bowed his head, fidgeting.
"Take care of that shoulder and...I'm sorry." The Omega chanced a look at Kevin before seeing the taller boy beginning to speak and, getting cold feet, rushed off before the redhead could speak.
Now, Edd lay staring blankly at the wall, huffing softly as Marie read a book upside down beside him. The older girl tried to stay quiet but she could feel Edd's guilt flaming across her skin as if it were her own. The partners hadn't spoken to each other since they left Nazz's house. She was only trying to protect him, so why wouldn't he talk to her?
Heaving a great sigh, Marie rolled over so that she was facing Edd right side up and tilted her head, her amber eyes flashing in regret. "Look, I'm sorry for hurting the guy. But you can't blame me. I just...didn't want to see you hurt again."
Edd closed his eyes tight but shook his head, rubbing the back of his neck. "I know, I know. But it's like I said, I just...panicked. I didn't mean to be that close to him. But...then he pulled me close, his scent was all around me. He wouldn't let go and I...I didn't want him too. I egged him on. I only back off when he tried to kiss me."
The male Omega then pressed his hands into his eyes and groaned, Marie watched him before shaking her head. It was like her and Nazz. The older Omega thought about this train of thought before opening her mouth, hoping she didn't mess this up.
"I think...maybe you should talk to him. I would o with you, but considering what happened..." she trailed off meaningfully and Edd nodded before moving to nuzzled against her and licking his partner's cheek in a show of affection. It was something that made Marie relax a little.
"Can you at least walk with me to his house?" the boy asked, tilting his head afterward. Marie sighed but said yes, making Edd smile.
"I could go to Nazz, hopefully smooth things out with her," Marie then said, almost to herself.
Edd snorted at this and rolled his eyes as Marie tried to explain herself before it turned into a playfight between the two. Marie swiftly won by pinning Edd on his back and giving him a cocky smile. She then got off him and helped him up.
"Now, I'm going over to Nazz's and I'm going to have a completely sex free talk with her!" she snapped her jaws as Edd rolled his eyes again.
"Is what why you came out her room when you were supposed to be in the guest room?" he asked smirking, dodging her punch.
Marie then chased him out, laughing. "Smartass!"

Edd and Marie stood in front of Kevin's house and with a small nudge from Marie, Edd started forward, slow though it was. Once he reached Kevin's door, he looked back to Marie still standing by, giving him a reassuring smile.
"Go. Something...something tells me it will be alright. But if you get scared, come on back to me. We'll go back to the Den and do whatever you want."
Edd grinned softly at that and nodded, feeling some of the tension leave his shoulders. "Thanks."
With that, Edd gathered his courage and knocked on the door. He didn't have to wait long before Kevin opened th door. The redhead didn't seem to register Double D right away from the cloudy look in his eyes yet when the Omega greeted him, he came out of his trance and he noticed the boy.
"Ah, Double D...you're here." Edd ducked his head and smiled before shifting his weight, looking anywhere but Kevin. The Alpha knitted his brows together before turning to his house and cursing under his breath. "Oh, right...Um, you can come in!"
Double D followed after Kevin, noticing how tense the other was. In an effort to break the silence, Double D spoke up first.
"I'm really sorry about Marie, she was just trying to protect me. Um...how's your arm?" the Omega rambled softly, fiddling with his claws as the other stayed silent.
"Your friend has one hell of a bite. I think she made the wound worse."
Double D winced at that before, impulsively, rushing up to Kevin and asking to check his shoulder. He did and Double D grunted at how poorly wrapped his wound.
"Um...if you want, I can take care of that, where are the bandages?" Kevin told him where to go and Double D was quick, coming back with the bandages and moving the Alpha's sleeve to begin.
Seeing the ragged and torn flesh, Edd grumbled and sighed at how rough Marie was. Without thinking about it, Edd started to lick at Kevin's wounds, only stopping for a moment when the Alpha growled softly at the stinging sensation. At the growl, Edd stopped then blinked before backing away, cursing under his breath. "Oh my God, I am so worry, I didn't mean too. I-"
Kevin was quick to quiet him, shaking his head. "No, no. Don't apologize. It's instinct, I don't blame you."
Edd stared for a moment, forcing himself to calm down before letting out a great gust of air. "I...I'm sorry. All of this happened, because I panicked. When I woke up, I was so close to you. And...well, you were so warm and your scent was so nice, I...I couldn't help myself. I didn't mean to egg you on but when you pulled me close, it felt...nice. I felt...safe."
Kevin perked up when he heard that and looked at Edd intently, making a small noise to let the smaller boy continue when he faltered. "It's...been a long time...since I felt safe with an Alpha."
The redhead took a deep breath and let it out slowly, his gaze on Edd soft and careful. "When I woke up and saw you close, I'll admit, I was happy. I...didn't want to let you go. I wanted to hold you close. That's why...the...the..."
"The kiss?" Edd asked quietly for him, making Kevin blush before nodding his head a bit.
Edd blushed too then suddenly moved a little closer to Kevin. The redhead didn't say anything for fear of making Double D ran away again. So he waited, and as he watch Edd go over his thoughts he was about move away when he felt a tug on his shirt.
"You know, that's the second time you've intended to kiss me." Edd muttered softly, a small smirk on his face. "You're not Pack, you're not my Alpha. If I don't shape up, people will think I'm losing my edge."
Kevin blinked but then smirked himself, a look of amusement in his eyes. "You really are a kitten. Never wanting others to do something to you, but perfectly okay with doing that same thing because you're the one doing it."
Edd grumbled softly at that while moving even closer, weaving his fingers through Kevin's hair. "Not a kitten, dumb mutt." He then inched forward, sliding onto Kevin's lap before pressing his lips to redhead's, earning a small moan from the Alpha. They stayed together like this, Kevin eventually pulling Edd closer by the waist and Edd letting out a quiet moan from it before breaking the kiss and just nuzzling into the Alpha's embrace, content and warm once more.
