-CHAPTER FOURTEEN - INTERRUPTED-
-TED'S SWAMP-
As the sun begins to set on Battleworld, Jack lights the campfire at his and Ted's camp
They begin to settle down for the night, when suddenly, they all get interrupted by Wasp
"Is Brian here?" Hope asks
"What happened?" Brian asks
"Marc's injured." Hope explains
"Shit, how badly?" Brian asks
"I think it's pretty bad." Hope explains
Brian opens a portal to Marc, still being carried by Scott and Cassie
"Oh thank god!" Scott says
Scott and Cassie bring Marc through the portal, laying him down near the fire
Strange gets up to help
"Marc, can you hear me?" Strange asks
Marc doesn't respond
Strange listens for Marc's heartbeat, still nothing
Suddenly, Marc's heart begins beating, and he awakens, gasping for breath, surprising Strange
Marc looks around, confused
"Where am I?" Marc asks
"Wha.. how..?" Strange says, confused on how Marc is alive
"What happened?" Marc asks
"Your heart.. it wasn't beating.." Strange explains
"Oh, I have an Egyptian bird god following me, it was him." Marc explains
"How did he just.. revive you like that?" Strange asks
"I don't know. He just does it." Marc explains
"Alright then.. welcome back." Strange says
"Thanks." Marc says
"Anyways, where am I?" Marc asks
"You're at what I guess could be considered our base." Brian explains
"Not officially our base, but how we win is just over there, so I'll just call it our base." Brian explains
Marc stands up, his suit dematerializes off his body
"You sure you're alright?" Strange asks
"I should be." Marc reassures
"Alright, if you need anything, come see me." Strange asks
"Sure." Marc responds
