OPENING THEME: KU ZEN ZETSU GO (Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters)
Ichigo Kurosaki stood leaning against the wall of his friend, Orihime Inoue's, bedroom. In the room, waiting, his companions, Uryu Ishida, Yasutora Sado (Chad), and Rukia Kuchiki sat or stood around the room as its owner, Orihime, knelt beside her own bed.
In the bed lay the mysterious woman in red whom Ichigo and Rukia had found the night before. Orihime had quickly set about healing the badly injured woman, though now, both doctor and patient were resting and the group had no choice but to wait for the woman to awaken.
Ichigo's train of thought was derailed by a knock on the door of Orihime's apartment.
"Who the hell?" he asked aloud.
"It's probably Renji," Rukia revealed, "I sent word of what happened back to the Soul Society."
"I'll get it," Ichigo sighed, walking to the door. As he opened it, he was ill prepared for the surprise that waited on the other side. His comrade, Renji Abarai, was indeed on the other side of the door, or rather, he was among those on the other side of the door. More shocking were those accompanying him, Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya, his Lieutenant, Rangiku Matsumoto, Shuhei Hisagi, Momo Hinamori, and, by far the most surprising member of the group, Byakuya Kuchiki.
"The hell? What're all you guys doing here?" Ichigo asked. Renji stepped forward.
"Head Captain Yamamoto sent us, Ichigo," Renji revealed, "after he saw Rukia's report, he ordered all of us here to protect the woman you found."
"Protect her?" Ichigo repeated.
"Where is this woman now, Ichigo?" Toshiro questioned the substitute Soul Reaper. Ichigo felt like his nervousness was tying his stomach in knots.

Everyone else had been just as surprised as Ichigo to see the other Soul Reapers enter Orihime's room. Rukia was especially surprised to see her brother, who quickly explained the situation.
"Interesting. It seems Head Captain Yamamoto knows more about this woman then we do," Uryu admitted, "but why send so much of the Soul Society's strength just to protect one woman?"
"I don't know," Toshiro admitted, "but he seemed worried about something."
"We're not even the only ones," Rangiku revealed, "Ikkaku and Captain Zaraki are in the city too."
"Kenpachi's here too?" Ichigo said, surprised. "Who is this girl?"
"That does not matter," Byakuya declared firmly, "if the Head Captain believes that she is in danger, then we should prepare for anything."
"How're her injuries?" Renji asked.
"She's healed up," Ichigo revealed, "but she's still restin'."
"I see," Toshiro sighed, "then I suppose asking her any questions will have to…"
Hitsugaya fell silent and his eyes widened with shock. No one had to ask why. They'd all sensed what made him freeze up at the same time. A dark, overwhelming energy had descended upon Karakura Town.

A man in a tattered, crimson cloak looked over Renee's pod. The flesh of his visible face was as pale as a corpse as he stuck out a pale blue tongue between his teeth.
"Ah, I smell the red haired one. Poor Depravity, he was so eager to add that one to his collection, but it seems I get to eat the flesh from her bones!" he cackled in a depraved voice. "Find her," he ordered, holding his hand to the sky. Black specks of energy began to fall from the sky like snow, each summoning a creature as it hit the ground. Before long, an entire army, thousands of creatures strong, flooded the streets of Karakura Town, "kill any who interfere."
As he lowered his hands, a police officer arrived on the scene.
"Sir," he ordered as he approached the stranger, "please step away from the crater."
"Ahh, an appetizer," the man chuckled as he looked at the officer. The officer shrieked and reached for his gun as he saw the strangers face. Half of it had rotted away, leaving one of his eyes and much of the musculature of the right side of his face completely exposed. Not that even the un rotted skin on the left side of his face were enough to stretch all the way over his massive mouth, as large as an ordinary human's head, his teeth exposed, giving the appearance of a maniacal grin.
The officer fired only one shot and began to scream in desperation, until his screams were silenced by a sickening crunch.
All that remained of the officer by the time the stranger was done was a small amount of blood smeared on his teeth, which he quickly licked off. The bullet fired had struck him in the forehead and he reached up, pealing the smashed bullet off of him and examining it.
"Such pitiful toys. Did you think it would save you against a Dark Saiyan?" the figure cackled as he popped the bullet into his mouth, "heheheh. If this is the best this world can offer, then I will eat well. Bring me meat, my beasts!" maniacally ordered the Dark Saiyan of Gluttony, Devour.

The Dark Saiyan's army caught Karakura Town completely unaware as they flooded the city's streets. People fled to try to escape the beasts as thousands of them marched through their city, hunting for the woman in red. Five unlucky ones did find a woman. A dark skinned, yellow eyed woman in a black, sleeveless body suit who dispatched them effortlessly with a few powerful kicks. Yoruichi Shihōin looked over the army of creatures invading Karakura Town.
"They aren't Hollows," she realized quickly, "but even so, we can't just let them do as they please." As she spoke, Kisuke Urahara approached her from behind.
"Don't know that we'll have much choice," he admitted, assessing the situation, "I don't see how we can hold off this many."
Hundreds of the creatures, an army larger then had attacked any of the other worlds, now invaded Karakura town. The situation looked grim as Ichigo and his companions confronted the monsters.
"What the hell are these things?" Ichigo asked, looking over the army of monstrous creatures.
"Does it matter?" Renji demanded, "we just have to deal with them."
"I know that!" Ichigo shouted angrily as he drew Zangetsu. The other Soul Reapers followed suit, drawing their own Zanpakutōes.
By now, the monsters were well aware of their arrival and were marching towards the group. Ichigo made the first attack, swinging Zangetsu and unleashing a crescent shaped blade of energy!
"GETSUGA TENSHŌ!" he shouted as the attack sliced through the front line of foes. Ready for the worst, the Soul Reapers charged into battle.

Unlike Hollows, these creatures weren't invisible to regular humans and in her apartment where she waited for any of her friends to require treatment, Orihime watched the army of creatures on the news. A knock on the door brought her back to reality and she rushed to open it. A dark haired young woman stood on the other side.
"Tatsuki!?" she cried.
"Are you alright!?" Tatsuki demanded as she entered the apartment. Orihime could only nod as her attention turned back to the tv. Her friend watched with her.
"Ichigo… he's out there, isn't he," Tatsuki asked, forcing Orihime to try to muffle a worried sob. Just then, they heard a loud, crashing sound, like breaking glass from Orihime's room!
"What the hell was that!?" Tatsuki exclaimed. Worried one of the creatures might have broken in to Orihime's apartment, she rushed through the door into the bedroom. Orihime followed close behind. The glass of Orihime's bedroom window was shattered, but nothing was in the room. Not even the red haired woman who had been lying on Orihime's bed!
"Oh no!" she cried out, "where did she go!?"

"Scatter, Senbonzakura," Byakuya said calmly as the blade of his zanpakutō turned to pink, blossom-like blades and spread around, gashing and slicing through anything they came in contact with.
Toshiro cut down several monsters before jumping back to avoid being overwhelmed by them!
"BANKAI!" he shouted pointing his sword at the horde as his spiritual pressure kicked up a cloud of dust, hiding him from their sight, "DAIGUREN HYŌRINMARU!" his voice roared from the cloud was blown away. The beasts barely registered Toshiro passing through their midst before they were encased in ice!
Uryu and Renji were battling back to back against a horde of the creatures. Uryu let fly a barrage of arrows, each of which found their mark, as Renji swept through the horde with his released Zabimaru.
"There's no end to them," Uryu cursed as two more seemed to step forward for every one he downed.
"Complaining about it won't do us any good," Renji admitted, retracting Zabimaru, "but this might. BANKAI!" he shouted as red light engulfed Zabimaru and it began to grow longer and larger, "HIHIŌ ZABIMARU!"
Ichigo, Chad, and Rukia could see Renji's Hihiō Zabimaru appear from where they were fighting, but, surrounded by a numberless horde of monsters as the were, they had no way to help.
"There're too many," Rukia cursed, cutting down one that got to close. One attacked her from behind, but was flattened by a powerful blow from Chad.
"GETSUGA TENSHŌ!" Ichigo roared, launching a horizontal blade that sliced through numerous creatures. Having given himself some breathing room, he brought Zangetsu forward and pointed it out in front of himself. "BANKAI!" he roared as a pillar of black energy engulfed him!
"Tensa Zangetsu!" he called out as he dissipated the aura with a swing of his blade. Without hesitation, he charged forward, tearing into the beasts with blinding speed and decimating every enemy in front of him. Unfortunately, it was obvious his Bankai's power would fail long before the numberless horde was exhausted.
On a rooftop, the red haired woman looked down at the poorly progressing battle, her teeth clenched with anger.
"There're so many of them! Did the entire army follow me!? Damn it, I'm in over my head here!" she cursed.
"Renee, can you hear me!?" a familiar voice echoed in her head.
"Teresa! You're okay!?" Renee cried out.
"We're alive. Are you alright?"
"Things are getting dicey here," Renee replied, her frustration apparent in her voice, "an army of those things somehow followed me! There're more then I can even count. Way to many for me to fight off by myself!"
"Be strong, sister. We will be there as quickly as possible!"
"You'd better be quick!" Renee ordered, stepping to the edge of the building top, "I'm not waiting! I won't let this world's heroes fight alone!"
Looking down below her, she spotted a woman trying to guide two small children fleeing from three of the monsters. In a flash of movement, the crimson haired princess vanished from the roof and reappeared, blocking the pursuers' path. She swung her hand into one, causing it to burst into smoke. The other two hesitated for only a moment, but even that was a moment too long as Renee flew out of the smoke and kicked the second one, breaking it in half before it burst as well. The last one was engulfed in the smoke. It let out a fearful roar before a sickening crunch was heard and it's head alone flew out of the smoke before bursting in midair!
As the smoke cleared, she reemerged, a ferociously angry glare in her eyes as she faced the approaching horde.
"Come and get it you bastards," she hissed, "this won't be like last time!" she shrieked as a yellow aura erupted around her. Her muscles bulged as power surged through them and her eyes changed from crimson to bluish green. Her roar seemed to shake the city as her red hair turned gold, completing her transformation.

Unfortunately for Renee, the powering up of a Super Saiyan was difficult to miss, and the Dark Saiyan, Devour, had not. He had been moments away from sinking his oversized teeth into a frightened young woman when he'd sensed the surge of energy.
"There you are," he cackled, a sadistic smirk creeping across his deformed features. The young captive was so terrified, all she could manage the strength to do was try to slide backwards away from the freak. Even that power was robbed from her, however, when Devour looked back at her.
"It would be rude not to finish my appetizer before moving on to the main course.
The woman managed to let out a blood curdling scream that lasted mere seconds before being cut off by a sickening crunch.

The sense that something was very wrong slammed into Ichigo like a ton of bricks. It was as though a suffocating fog of fear had settled over him. His group had managed to regroup with Uryu and Renji, and one glance at his comrades was all Ichigo needed to know that Rukia, Chad, Uryu, and Renji all sensed it as well.
There was no time to focus on the feeling of dread, however, as the group was still surrounded by monsters that relentlessly attacked the group.
"HADO NUMBER 33 SŌKATSUI!" Rukia shouted, using her Kido to blow away a group of the monsters as Hihiō Zabimaru tore through their ranks. Uryu fired with deadly precision at enemies in front of him while Chad stood behind him, savagely beating down anything trying to attack from Uryu's blind side.
"RASENGAN!" an unfamiliar voice shouted out as an orange flash crashed into the beasts in front of Ichigo, blowing them away. Another figure crashed into the beasts in front of Rukia, clearing the front most horde before Naruto Uzumaki and Moka Akashiya jumped back to stand in front of the two Soul Reapers.
"What the… who're you!?" Ichigo asked.
"We can wait for introductions," Naruto suggested to Ichigo, "Isabella and Rinoa said their sister needed help, so we came to join in!"
"Believe me, you're not the only one with questions," Moka admitted, "focus on getting through the battle ahead of us for now. We can make those princesses answer them afterward."
"Princesses?" Rukia repeated, "are you talking about the red haired woman from before?"
"Red haired? Isabella is green and Rinoa purple," Moka conjectured, "are these princesses all color coded or something? I overheard Rinoa say the name Renee. I'm guessing that's yours. Where is she?"
"She's unconscious," Ichigo revealed, "we left her resting with a friend of ours."
An explosion drew the groups attention to an ongoing battle nearby. Monsters were being blown in all directions as Renee exploded out of the swarm, firing a blast back into their midst, obliterating a horde of them.
"What the hell? Is that the girl!?" Ichigo asked aloud.
"Renee? I thought her hair was red," Naruto admitted.
"Probably was," Krillin declared as he landed in the middle of the group.
"Oh, hey Krillin," Naruto greeted him, "but if her hair was red, why's it golden now?"
"Because she's what we call a Super Saiyan, and if she's anything like the other Super Saiyans I know, she's way stronger then any of us."
Renee grabbed one of the creatures by the throat and swung it over her shoulder, throwing it into a group of its friends before decimating them with an energy blast. Two attacked her from behind, but were shot down by a violet energy blast.
"Renee!" Isabella shouted as she landed behind her Super Saiyan sister, accompanied by Rinoa.
"Isabella? Rinoa? You're alright!" the crimson princess exclaimed in relief upon seeing her sisters.
"We managed to escape to other worlds," Isabella revealed, "but those creatures managed to follow us. If the heroes of those worlds hadn't helped us, we would have been in big trouble."
"We might still be," Rinoa admitted, "there are so many more of these things here then came after us!"
"I don't care how many there are," Renee growled as she faced the army of monsters, "we're not running again! We fight with everything we've got!"
"I hope Teresa has more help for us," Isabella said nervously.

"GETSUGA TENSHŌ!"
"RASENGAN!"
Ichigo launched off his Getsuga into a group of enemies while Naruto and Moka protected him from being attacked from behind. They stood back to back as they faced the encroaching foes. Fortunately, the monsters never got close as a surge of red flame shot into the sky, forming into Red Dragon Archfiend!
"ABSOLUTE POWER FORCE!" Jack shouted as his Archfiend flew low over the beasts, scattering them in all directions by dragging its flame covered claws through the horde. The beasts hadn't managed to recover when Neji dropped into the horde.
"Eight Trigram 128 Palms!" he shouted as he launched into a multidirectional barrage, clearing enemies in a wide range around him!
"About time you guys caught up," Moka sighed.
"Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto shouted, charging to join Neji as dozens of Naruto Shadow Clones popped into existence, jumping into battle with the horde! Ichigo followed close behind, tearing into the monsters attacking his city!
Despite the numbers and power of the heroes, they were still clearly and insurmountably outnumbered as things stood. Ichigo tried to catch his breath as he stood back to back with Moka.
"We're losing ground," Moka hissed, "any ideas?"
"We're not giving up," Ichigo declared firmly, swinging his sword out to his side, "even if there are to many, I'll keep fighting as long as I'm still standing!"
"Well said!" a voice called out from a building top above them. The heroes looked up to see Yami and Luffy standing above them. Yami continued to speak, "we'll lend you our strength! Come forth, DARK MAGICIAN!" he shouted, summoning his Magician alongside Luffy as both jumped from the rooftop!
"GUM GUM GATTLING!" Luffy shouted, unleashing a barrage of rapid punches into the swarm of creatures.
"DIFUSION WAVE MOTION!" Yami ordered, prompting Dark Magician to release several pulses of magic energy from its rod, decimating any creatures it came in contact with!

Across the city, heroes of different worlds united to fight!
Kurumu flew through a horde, slicing through them as she passed as any that tried to strike her were shot down by precise arrows from Uryu. One evaded the arrow aimed for it, but didn't get much further before Elemental Hero Neos knocked it to the ground! The enemies surrounding Neos converged on the Elemental Hero only for Kakashi to erupt out of the ground behind it!
"Fire Style, Dragon Flame Bomb!" Kakashi shouted, releasing a wave of fire from his mouth that engulfed the enemies behind Neos as Flame Swordsman and Zoro dropped in to join them, going on the offensive against the horde.
Elsewhere, a group of frozen monsters were shattered by a brutal kick from Sanji! Mizore froze more of them, this batch being dispatched by a barrage of golden washtubs from Yukari!
"I wasn't much use last time," Valeria lamented, landing beside the two monster girls, and drawing a card from her duel disc, "I won't let that be the case here! I set the Pendulum scale with Dragon Horn Hunter!" she shouted as a woman clad in armor appeared above her. Sanji, Mizore, and Yukari all felt a burning sensation inside them.
"What happened? I feel stronger!" Mizore admitted.
"It may not make a functional pendulum scale, but I can still use my Hunter's Pendulum ability to give my allies a power boost!" Valeria declared proudly, "now for something other then support! I call upon Berry, Lemon, Apple, Chocolate, and Kiwi Magician Girls!" she shouted, summoning the five magician girls to her field.
"These guys again!?" Chocolate Magician Girl cried out as she appeared, "you guys need to learn to take a hint!"
"Perhaps they're under the impression that some magician girls like stubborn men," Kiwi Magician Girl suggested.
"I mean, I kinda do, but this is totally getting ridiculous," Lemon Magician Girl admitted, "also the whole 'lizard-man' vibe is, like, a total turn off."
"Then what do you say for our next trick, we make these creeps disappear!" Apple Magician Girl shouted as Berry Magician Girl nodded her approval.
"Berry! Berry!"

The arrival of the other heroes had turned the tide of the battle. Naruto and Luffy charged fearlessly into the horde, overwhelming the creatures as Ichigo and Moka combined skill and savagery to decimate the foes, all while Yami stood atop the rooftop, analyzing the battle below.
Ichigo's group weren't the only ones Yami could see from his vantage point. His friends and allies were spread through the armies ranks as dragons flew above, raining destruction on the enemies below.
"I think it's time we put a stop to this," he heard Yugi suggest inside his mind.
"I agree," Yami replied, nodding as he pulled three cards from his deck.
Ichigo stopped in his tracks as he sensed an immense power that drew his attention up to Yami. "Whoa… what the hell is that!?"
"I CALL UPON THE GODS OF EGYPT!" Yami shouted as he placed three cards on his disc. Immediately, clouds filled the sky as three beams of light, one red, one yellow, and one blue, fired from Yami's duel disc into the clouds! The world seemed to tremble as the light faded.
"Oh boy, here they come!" Jaden said excitedly, standing beside Yusei on another rooftop.
"Are those… the legendary cards?" Yusei stuttered, feeling the overwhelming power.
The first thing to descend below the clouds was the red body of a snake like dragon that filled the skies above Karakura town. With a loud roar, the head of Slifer the Sky Dragon emerged, glaring down at its foes.
Next, a blood chilling screech pierced the heavens as a towering blue figure descended. The terrorizing visage of Obelisk the Tormentor split the Karakura skyline.
Finally, a bird of fire soared down from the clouds and hovered above the battlefield for a moment before the flames started to fade. Though the flames died out quickly, the massive and all powerful Winged Dragon of Ra proved to be an even more fearsome sight.
Like giant, primary colored angels of death, Yami's Egyptian Gods hovered above Karakura Town, the shear spectacle of their presence enough to bring the battle to a temporary, dumbstruck halt,

Away from the battle, Devour,, Dark Saiyan of Gluttony, hungrily licked his oversized teeth.
"Time to feast," he said maliciously.
