We'll call that a wrap on the FATE OF FUSION Arc, but this time, we'll mix up the formula and write the Interlude before I get to work on the new SA ALTERNATIVE story.

This one will be a short interlude for a short arc, since I've only got one question to answer, albeit asked by multiple people. Given the events of this arc, I shouldn't be at all surprised that people are now curious regarding certain series' potential future involvement in the story.

I'm of course referring to Jotaro, Kenshiro, Izuku Midoriya, and Ruby Rose of Fusion Dimension.

Let's get the big question out of the way up front. Any worlds that appear as part of Fusion, XYZ, or Synchro Dimension in future, including these heroes, can be assumed to be from a world where the events of their own tales have been cancelled out by Duel Academy's attacks on their respective worlds. As such, these characters aren't really drawn in from any particular points in their tales.

Of course, the more important question is whether or not these characters will reappear later on, which is a more complicated question.

See a friend of mine is also in the process of writing a story set in the same universe as SHONEN ALLIANCE, though separate dimensions, and in order to avoid overlap, I agreed, with a couple of exceptions, not to use the same series in the main Alliance that he was using in his own.

Among these three are Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, My Hero Academia, and Fist of the North Star. However, they're also three of the most requested series for me to do something with, so I wanted to do something with them, even if not as part of the main team. That doesn't mean, however, that we've seen the last of them. The Dark Saiyan of Wrath and Duel Academy will have to be stopped, after all, and these heroes will be back to help.

RWBY ended up causing a few problems, unfortunately. My plan was to link the Fusion and Hyperdimension alliances using a character confirmed for the main team, but didn't want to use one of the current series. With the 20/20 advantage provided by hindsight, Isara Gunther arguably served the purpose well enough, but to clarify, RWBY is still planned for the main team.

Pretty sure that wraps up everything I wanted to, so I'll end the interlude here. Next up will be an ALTERNATIVE tale, then on to the true AMESTRIS ARC.
