The three came out of the other side of the tunnel. They went across the bridge on the other side, only to be stopped.
"You fiends!"
The all were forced back to the tunnel entrance by some Beanish soldiers. Beanish is the race of the people that live in the Beanbean Kingdom, for those of you that don't know.
"We...We've found you at last! You scum! What have you done with Prince Peasley?!" One of them said. "Prince Peasley?" The Bros asked. "He's hero and prince of the Beanbean Kingdom." Aaron explain, "We hang out from time to time." "Yes! There is no mistake!" Another soldier said to the brothers, "You kidnapped Prince Peasley and were about to take his friend!" "Hey! I wasn't kidnapped!/We didn't kidnap him!" The three said. "We have witnesses! Now confess villains!"
"We're/They're not kidnappers!" They said again. Just the brothers said, "You guys don't recognize us?" "We're the Mario Brothers! We don't kidnap." "Lies! Bald-faced lies! The superstars of the Mushroom Kingdom would never come here!"
Hey look, it's Tolstar. He's bandaged up ad has a couple of bruises. He flew by and said, "Nyeh...Nyeck nyehhh...They're not lying..." he said, surprising the soldiers, "They say they've come here chasing someone called Cackletta...And they are really, really tough..." He then flew away.
"Believe us now?" Aaron said. "...Oh dear. Oh my! Ohhh, BOY! Pardon us, sirs! SO sorry! See, our Kingdom's Prince Peasley was kidnapped by something...Or so recent reports out of Hoohoo Village claim. We have been looking for any sign of the perpetrator." "According to eyewitness accounts, the prince's kidnapper wore an odd helmet and spoke of mustard and fink-rats...That is all we have to go on."
"Want to explain how we have anything to do with it?" Mario said, making the soldiers look away nervously. "Mustard and fink-rats..." He thought out loud shortly after.
"If you come across anything, please let us know." "Okay." Luigi answered. "Reopen the investigation." Two of the soldiers left to continue searching. One stayed behind and whispered to Aaron, "Please don't mention this to the queen, Aaron" "We'll see, dude. We'll see." The soldier then left as the trio continued their way to the village.
"Welcome to Hoohoo Village guys." Aaron said.
Hoohoo Village is a small village on the base of Hoohoo Mountain and inhabited by the Hoohooligans.
The three explored a bit, earned some coins, nuts, and mushrooms, and talked to some of the residents. There was a point where a bridge was broken and needed to be fixed, luckily Aaron knew this place like the back of his hand and knew that that part was for going up the mountain, not down. They found a way down, and when they did they saw a familiar face.
Said face grinned as a guard nervously said with his back to the wall, "G-Give back Prince Peasley!" Only to be blasted away making the person laugh.
"Fawful!" Mario said, getting his attention. Shocked to see the Bros again, he said, "Y-You again! You are the pair of fink-rats that swooped in with the Bowser that I hate!"
Aaron said, "Now I know who this jerk is! This nut keeps coming around the castle with that witch! We didn't know why, but they kept coming and wrecking the place!"
The trio got into battle stances as Fawful said noticing Aaron, "Hmph! HMPH, I say to you! While I was busy with Peasley, you have been catching me with these fink-rats! I should have captured you first! I have fury! But Cackletta has already begun smearing the butter of her next tasty plan over Beabean Castle! Since you three cannot make it in time, I say to you that it is better never than late..."
He flew upwards. "So here is your halting place!"
He dropped a huge rock in their path as he flew back and said, "Since you will not be shattering this stone, I laugh at you trying to get down this mountain!" He then flew away.
"Hey! Come back here!" Mario said, only to be ignored. "Now what? There's no way past this stone, and this is the only way down the mountain." Aaron said. "Hmm." Luigi started, "If we had our hammers, we could break this rock easily." "But, we left them at home." Mario said. Aaron said, "Well, I know three brothers that live in this village that could make us some hammers in snap, we can go there. Follow me."
The Bros followed Aaron back up the mountain and into a cabin where three Beanish were. Their heads look like hammers, and they had different colored hair on their eyebrows and facial hair: One had red, one had green, one had black. Their names in that order are Sledge, Mallet, and Gavel.
Right now they had a rock on an anvil and said in order, "Th-This is the last stone! Now we show the true spirit of the Hammerhead Trio!" "This stone's our last shot!" "Give it our all brothers!"
They slammed their heads repeatedly onto the stone, only for it to crumble and break. They took a breather and Sledge said, "This...stone...just...ain't...gonna...do...it...We can't make hammers no more."
"Uh, excuse me? Hammerheads?"
The blacksmiths turned their heads to see Aaron, "Oh, hey Aaron. What brings you here?" Gavel asked. "These two." He said pointing to the brothers. Luigi spoke up saying, "Hello. Is it possible for us to get a hammer here?" "What? you want us to make you a hammer?" Mallet asked. Sledge recognized them and said, "Hey, I know these two dudes! They're Mario and Luigi from the Mushroom Kingdom! The Jump and Hammer Kings!" "Yeah! You're so right Sledge! I remember these guys!" Mallet said, "Hey, Aaron, what are a couple of celebrities like these two bummin' around this place for a hammer?"
"Well you see-"
"Oh. Hey...Look, you don't have to tell us. We fully understand" Sledge said, "Our lips are completely sealed...We'll just make you what you need. We're professionals, after all." "That's right, pros all the way." Mallet said. "Yep, pros." Gavel said, "But the thing is, in order to make hammers, we need Hoohoo Blocks from the mountaintop." "And since Blablanadon suddenly stopped coming down here, we can't get up to the summit!"
"Why Hoohoo Blocks though?" Aaron asked.
"Hoohoo Blocks are hard stones. A hammer made from those stones can break anything! We want to climb the mountain to get more Hoohoo Blocks, but we can't jump well enough to do it!"
"Ahem." Aaron said, pointing to the Mario Bros, who jumped to prove Aaron's point.
"Huh? Oh yeah! What was I thinkin'? You guys are jumpin' pros, ain't you?" Mallet said.
"Mhm. We could go to the top and get the Hoohoo Blocks for you." Mario said.
"That would REALLY hook us up!" Gavel said, "If you could get us some Hoohoo Blocks, we'll make you a special hammer!" "You scratch our backs," "And we'll scratch yours!" Mallet and Sledge said.
With that being settled, Mario, Luigi, and Aaron went out of the cabin and went to the path that went up the mountain.
Beats me how they fixed the bridge so fast.
While climbing, the three had to fight things like Beanies, which are like Goombas but are just beans instead of mushrooms, and Dry Bones, which aren't like the ones in the Mushroom Kingdom, they have no shell and walk down on all fours.
They also had to do a couple of High Jumps and Spin Jumps to reach hard-to-reach places.
"You know, I've been around this entire kingdom, and I never got a chance to go up the mountain." "Oh yeah? Why's that?" Luigi asked. "I didn't really have a reason to."
The three made it to what looks like four pillars in a square with a strange, thin, yellowish statue in the middle. They looked at each other, then went to the statue. To their surprise, it started talking.
"Ah. Travelers. I am Hoohooros. The ancient weapon of the Hoohoo civilization. Beyond this point, the path grows even crueler. You must prove yourselves up to the challenge. Dare you try this challenge?"
They looked at each other again the nodded.
"You must start now. Stand on that platform to begin."
They High Jumped on one of the platforms.
"For this challenge, you must catch ten Hoohoo Spirits within thirty-five seconds! Do not fall of the ledges or you will immediately fail." "Looks like we'll have to use the Spin Jump a lot." Mario said.
"And...begin!"
The trio stacked and Spin Jumped between the four platforms until they collected all ten Spirits with six seconds left to spare.
On the tenth, Hoohooros said, "You have cleared the challenge!"
They got down and went back to him. "Now for your next challenge. You must defeat me!" He sunk into the ground and when he came out of the ground, he looked grey and rounder. He then let out a loud noise, signaling the battle to begin.

Behind him two pillars rose from the ground.
"Let us begin!" he said before sinking into the ground and going under on of the pillars. "This'll be easy!" Luigi said before jumping twice on the pillar Hoohooros went under.
The pillar fell apart and Hoohooros sunk back in the ground and went under the other pillar as another rose from the ground.
"Huh?" he said confused. The markings, or , on the pillars glowed as they each shot a laser at the trio.
"Let me try!" Aaron jumped twice on the pillar this time and the same thing happened with Luigi. "What?" he said before jumping over the laser.
Mario thought about it and said, "I got it!" He jumped on the pillar Hoohooros wasn't under and it crumbled and fell apart. "Ah! I get it!" Luigi said jump attacking the other pillar. Hoohooros sunk in the ground and moved to where the other pillar once was, only to be alarmed to not find it there.
Hoohooros shot a beam out of his mouth and aimed it around the trio. Yet, they were quick enough to dodge it. Aaron barely dodged the beam from the remaining pillar.
After that, they did the Splash move on Hoohooros. He sunk into the ground, but before he could go under the other pillar, Aaron jumped on it and broke it. Surprised by his misfortune he rose from the ground.
This gave the trio to do the Bounce Move on Hoohooros.
That managed to K.O. him.
Cut the music!
Admitting defeat, Hoohooros said, "You have passed this test, too! Now you must face the test of reaching the summit!" He sunk into the ground. In the back, there were Hooroglyphs on the mountains which glowed, making a platform appear allowing the three to continue up the mountain.
And they did.
A lot of Spin Jumping, High Jumping, and fighting things like Beanies, Dry Bones, and Rexes [indigo/violet with a horn on it's nose, fangs, and small dragon wings even though they're flightless] later, they managed to reach the top of the mountain.
At the top was a big sum of water that led to the waterfall, and a small island in the middle made of Hoohoo Blocks. In the middle was what looked like a giant egg with a pterosaur-like creature on top.
"We made it!" Luigi happily said. They waded through the water and on the small island and Mario said, "These might be hard to carry." "Let's just kick it down the mountain. What's the worst that could happen?" Aaron said.
When kicked a Hoohoo Block, he was startled by someone yelling, "Fooooools!" The trio turned to see that it was the pterosaur who shouted at them. "What're you kicking that for? That's a really rare stone! It's called a Hoohoo Block! And I'll tell you, anyone who tries to kick a Hoohoo Block down the mountain is a thief in my book!"
Mario, being the polite guy he is, asked it, "Nice to meet you. What's you name?" "My name? Oh... Right! I'm called Blablanadon!" "Blablanadon? Your the one everyone kept talking about ealier today!" Aaron said, "What are doing here? Everyone in Hoohoo Village is worried sick."
"The townsfolk are all worried about me? Really? But I didn't mean to make them worry! See, what happened is this: I saw Prince Peasley and followed him up here...And then I saw that this huge egg that appeared! I was shocked! I was speechless! Which is rare! So anyway, I've just been here keeping this poor egg warm ever since! Yup, that's the deal. I think something will hatch out of it pretty soon! That's what happens with eggs!"
The egg started to shake, causing the small island to shake.
"Oh! It's here! It's time! Oh, wow! It's about to hatch! I can't take the suspense!" Blablanadon said before flying off the egg.
The top of the egg then cracked off and to everyone's surprise, what came out of it was some kind of large dragon which roared loudly the second it was free.
The roar somehow pushed the Hoohoo Block that Aaron kicked into the water and currents pushed it down the waterfall. The Hoohoo Block ended up falling into the Hammerhead Trio's chimney back down in Hoohoo Village.
Well, that's convenient.
Yeah, that Hoohoo Block could literally not have fallen more perfectly.
"Ack! Well, THAT'S a shock! Talk about one crazy egg!" Blablanadon said.
Dragohoho, which is what this dragon's called, suddenly shot a Hoohoo Block out of his mouth and at Blablanadon, sending him into the clouds.
The dragon roared again, grew wings and flew out of the eggshell and next to the trio and roared at them again.

Dragohoho shot flaming Hoohoo Blocks at the three but they easily dodged them by jumping.
They did the Bounce move on him and were about to do the Splash move when Aaron said, "Guys wait! I got better idea!"
He whispered in their ears and went along with it.
"Let's-a go!"
Like the with the Splash Move, Aaron boosted the brothers in the air, but instead of jumping up to Luigi, Aaron threw them up in the air again, twice. On the final time, Mario then spun themselves very fast, drilling down onto Dragohoho!
They called this the Super Splash move.
The force from the drilling made Dragohoho shrink a bit. He shot out more flaming Hoohoo blocks, but since they were closer to the ground and were coming out slower, they were easier to dodge.
Realizing the problem, Dragohoho spit out a big Hoohoo Block, or Hoho Stone we'll call it, and jumped on top of it and shoot out more flaming Hoohoo Blocks. They were a little harder to dodge this time because of them being thrown from a higher place, but they were still slow enough to jump over.
The three did the Bounce move Dragohoho when it got off the Stone, and that managed to K.O. it.
Cut the music!
When the dragon was defeated, something strange happened.
There was a bright light and when it went away, Dragohoho was transformed into a Beanish, bit he wasn't a regular Beanish.
He laughed before saying, "Cheers to you three!" "Prince Peasley!" Aaron said, glad his friend was okay. "Ah, Aaron! It's nice to see you again."
Blablanadon, who came back and was okay, said. "Th-This incredibly dazzling man is none other than Prince Peasley!" "Peasley, what happened to you? The guards said that you were kidnapped!" Aaron said.
The prince flaunted both his hair and his smile and said after laughing, "Well! I suppose you could call it a bit of an accident. As I was investigating events throughout the country for this top secret mission I'm on, I suddenly encountered Cackletta and her vile underling, Fawful, here on this mountain. But by the time I realized who the fiends were, it was too late. They transformed me into THAT and shut me inside the egg." He flaunted his hair and smile again.
Mario spoke up, "We're here to take back Princess Peach's voice. Cackletta stole it." "Is that so?" The prince said as a little winged bean-shaped platform flew to his feet, "Heh heh heh...I wouldn't worry about Princess Peach. I'm quite sure she'll be fine." He got on the winged bean and it flew in the air a bit. "At any rate, we should chase after Cackletta! I want you three to visit Queen Bean in Beanbean Castle once you climb down the mountain. It may be Cackletta's next target is in Beanbean Castle! I'd bet my life on it!"
He pulled out a yellow rose from his pocket and said, "Oh! Heh heh heh...Here's a gift from me. Autographed, of course!" He threw it at the trio and Luigi caught it. "Heh heh heh...Yes, I think that rose matches your green perfectly! If you show that rose at Beanbean Castle, they'll permit you to enter!"
He flaunted his hair and smile before saying, "And with that, I must get back to my mission! May we meet again!" He then flew away.
Blablanadon gave the trio a ride back down to Hoohoo Village.
When they landed, the three got off, and Blablanadon said, "So...what are you guys going to do now?" "We're going to get ourselves a hammer so we can get to Beanbean Castle. See you later." Mario said as they went back to the Hammerhead Trio's blacksmith.
"Good luck!"
It wasn't a long walk. When they went in, they saw the Hammerheads with the Hoohoo Block from earlier on their anvil.
"Hmph! Boy, did YOU three arrive at exactly the right time." Sledge said. "Just now a Hoohoo Block fell down in the waterfall!" said Gavel. "Check it out: We'lluse it to make you the ultimate hammer!"
The three went to work. Like last time they slammed their heads repeatedly into the Hoohoo Block and eventually, they did it.
They took a breather and Sledge said, "Hoo! Hoo! Hooo...Man, it feels so GREAT to be makin' hammers again after such a long break!" "In fact, it feels so darn great that we went ahead and made you guys THREE HAMMERS!" Mallet said. "Look at that craftmanship! POW! Now you're playin' with power!" said Gavel. "Yeah! You got that right! These bad boys are now all yours!"
The Bros and Aaron went and each grabbed a hammer. Now that they had them they could continue their mission. They said their goodbyes and left the blacksmith.
They made it back to the rock that Fawful placed in their path and with one quick whack, they smashed it and continued on.
