The next chapter will set in motion the true adventure of our heroes in Amestris, making this as good a spot as any for a between arcs break.

As such, it is time for an Interlude and a new SHONEN ALLIANCE: ALTERNATIVE One Shot story.

Usually, the interlude is where I'd answer any questions I've been asked over the course of writing the previous arc, however, I don't really have that many questions to answer.

To answer the only question I recall being asked, Zuzu Boyle will be sticking with the heroes for the time being, however, neither Yuya nor Yuma will be joining up just yet.

An interlude that short is barely worth writing, so how about a discussion of a few different things that have been on my mind of late.

How about we start with a bad idea I can't coax my brain to let go of. I kind of wanna use Vine as the core around which to write a harem.

Writing it down has set off every writing instinct in me into a renewed bout of screaming at me how bad an idea it is, yet it also sounds kind of fun.

I know how I should handle this idea (which is to say I shouldn't), but I've also never written anything like it before which means there's no way I can bring myself to fully dismiss the idea, whether I act on it or not.

To answer the question I'm sure will follow that revelation; Imca, Fusion Dimension Isara, Fusion Dimension Selvaria, Shantella, and Valeria, though I can't get the phrase "room to grow" to leave me alone any more then I can the idea in general.

Let's move on to an idea I actually think is good.

So, while the next arc will be the Fullmetal Alchemist themed "Amestris Arc", the arc that follows promises to be interesting. Currently dubbed the "Dimensions in Danger Arc", this arc will see Duel Academy in Fusion Dimension step up as the arc's true villain, sending our heroes on a Dimension hopping adventure, leaving Hyperdimension behind to battle through the Standard, Fusion, Synchro, and XYZ dimensions.

Now, I imagine it won't come as much of a surprise when I reveal that the most common requests I get regarding any version of SHONEN ALLIANCE has been regarding franchises others want to see join in the fun.

During the years that have passed since I first penned the prologue for the original SHONEN ALLIANCE, I have received requests for franchises that eventually joined the crew (notably FMA, Fairy Tail, Kenshin, and Kill la Kill) alongside requests for the likes of Toriko, Gin Tama, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, and a fair number of others.

I don't want to expand the Hyperdimension alliance any further then it already is. With Rising of the Shield Hero replacing Freezing as well as Overlord, Konosuba, Tanya the Evil, and Re:Zero planned to further bolster the team (assuming none of these series get moved to Ultradimension), the main team has an awful lot of fire power for a crew that already has a Goku.

Fortunately, I've already suggested a potential way for some requested heroes to join in, thanks to the Fusion Dimension team, which featured My Hero Academia, Fist of the North Star, and Jojo (the last of which came from XYZ dimension.

Just as a refresher, Hyperdimension, our main team, consists of Dragon Ball Super, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Claymore, Rosario+Vampire, Fullmetal Alchemist, Valkyria Chronicles, Fairy Tail, Ruroni Kenshin, Murder Princess, Kill la Kill, Rising of the Shield Hero, Hyperdimension Neptunia, RWBY (currently based on the manga, though might switch to using the new anime as a base), Attack on Titan, Madoka Magica, Konosuba, and tentatively, Overlord, Tanya the Evil, and Re: Zero.

Meanwhile, unique franchises associated with Ultradimension are Sword Art Online, Sailor Moon, Digimon, Senran Kagura, High School DxD, Familiar of Zero, Blue Exorcist, Okami-San and her Seven Companions, K-On!, and Love Live!

Bringing me to franchises I am currently considering to appear between Standard, Synchro, Fusion, and XYZ dimensions.

My Hero Academia

Fist of the North Star

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Demon Slayer

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord

The Devil is a Part Timer

Dr. Stone

Spy x Family

Freezing

This list will add and remove franchises as plans solidify, so it's far from final, but it gives a good idea regarding some of my thoughts at the moment.

No reason to drag this any further. Next time on SHONEN ALLIANCE, it'll be time for a brand new SA: ALTERNATIVE.
