The trio followed Popple and 'Rookie' all the way to a big opening in a massive, ancient, tree: Mother Chuckola.
When they went inside, deep in the tree an old Beanish man in an old spotted costume telling jokes to a barrel of Chuckola Cola.
"What do idiots drink? So-duh!" The Cola laughed and bubbled. "What do sodas call their dads? Pop!" It laughed and bubbled again. "A hippie's favorite soda? Granola cola!" And again.
"Uh, who are you?" Mario asked as the three went up to him. "My name is...Bubbles." The old man said, "And...I am the ultimate comedian, with the laughing and the chortling and the har har HAR!"
Aaron then noticed the Chuckola Cola, and that it wasn't some ordinary cola.
"Excuse me, Bubbles? This wouldn't happen to be..." "Yes monsieur. Indeed...What you three see before you is the most legendary of sodas...The Chuckola Reserve...And I am pleased to tell you, this Chuckola Reserve, is yours to enjoy!"
The trio looked at each other. They were just gonna be handed what they needed? Just like that?
This felt too easy. And everyone knows in the Nintendo universe, nothings ever easy.

No, right now, go ahead. I'll wait.

Done? Great. Back to the story.
Bubbles continued, "Har hee HAR! I have worked on Chuckola Reserve for one thousand years now...Telling it joke after joke, so it would mature, and then mature some more, and then yet some more...Until at last the greatest soda of all would be completed with the fizz and the tastiness."
"Your making it sound soda-licious." Aaron's joke made the Reserve bubble and laugh.
Bubbles turned away and continued, "Because it is a soda of such high caliber and repute, rude guests meet a fate such as this..."
He counted down, "Un...Deux...Trois!" and from the ceiling came Popple and 'Rookie' who were stuck in barrels and hanging from some rope, shocking the trio.
"Th-That's no ordinary soda, see? We can't stand up to such a beverage!" Popple said before 'Rookie' roared.
Bubbles turned back to the trio and said, "The great Chuckola Reserve is a thing to savor, with the flavor and tang and yum in the belly!"
Then, out of nowhere, the Reserve broke the barrel apart and turned into a large, red creature made of Chuckola Cola, with black eyes and the metal rims from the barrel's openings above and below its body. It had a sword made of cola in one hand, and was holding a shield made from part of the barrel in the other.
For now, let's call it Chuckolator.
Chuckolator did a spinning attack which sent Popple and 'Rookie' flying out of Mother Chuckola!
Popple's right, that is no ordinary soda.
Bubbles praised Chuckolator saying, "Ahh...It is wonderful...So wonderful...The great soda shines...However! That was not the only hidden soda power that my jokes have bred over these one thousand years!"
Chuckolator stopped spinning and stood before the trio, as Bubbles continued, "Now I insist you fully experience the texture, taste and aroma of Chuckola Reserve! Bon appetit!"

Chuckolator started by using sword-like left arm to send blobs of soda straight at the trio. Good thing they had hammers to whack them away.
Some splashed on Aaron's mouth and he tasted it. It was way better than he hoped.
The trio then attacked with their Super Splash, and Super Bonce Trio Attacks.
Chuckolator then moved his shield to his other hand, which showed that the hand that used to hold it was now a rifle-like. He shot big soda bubbles at the trio that they had to jump over.
Chuckolator then held his shield up when Aaron called Luigi over to do the Chopper move. The shield looked a little beat up after getting hit with a hammer multiple times.
It looked even more beat up after the Knockback move and Launcher move.
In fact, after the Launcher move, the shield broke completely!
Chuckolator then resorted to his sword and rifle weapons.
After dodging and whacking more soda, they did the Splash and Bounce moves, and after that, he collapsed into a smaller form. No arms, no weapons, just a shorter form with the metal barrel rings. They almost look like teeth.
After two normal hammer attacks and on jump attack, Bubbles came up and told a joke to Chuckolator. That made it bubble and laugh, and I think it healed it a bit.
Bubbles moved away and left the creature to fight.
It did by hopping to the trio and trying to take bites out of them, only to get hit by their hammers.
After one final Chopper move, Chuckolator was K.O.'d!
Cut the music!
After being defeated, Chuckolator shrank back into a soda in a barrel, making Bubbles devastated.
"NOOOOOOO! B-But the jokes! The puns! The humor I've saved up over the last thousand years!"
Bubbles than spun around and stomped on the ground, causing the floor to give way, and causing the trio and the Chuckola Reserve to fall through the ground.
"Au revoir!"
Chucklehuck Woods Underground...
We see the barrel of Chuckola Reserve fall to the bottom of a cavern right next to some water, and right after, we see Mario fall right into the barrel. That made it fall on its side.
We then see Luigi and Aaron fall on a ledge above where the barrel and Mario landed. Only thing is, Aaron almost missed the ledge and is hanging from it.
"I've got you, Aaron." Luigi said, pulling the boy back onto the ledge. After that, they made their way to the bottom of the cavern they were in.
After fighting and defeating some Chuck Guys along the way, they made it to where Mario was.
"You think he's okay?" Luigi asked. Aaron replied, "I'm sure he is. I just think he's stuck." "How are we gonna get the Reserve to the castle?" "Easy."
Aaron just pushed the barrel into the water, alarming Luigi because his brother was inside. Aaron hopped on top of the barrel and said, "Come on. This water should take us right to the castle." Luigi just went with it and got on with his Aaron. The two then drifted off to Beanbean Castle.
We see Aaron and Luigi riding the barrel towards Beanbean Castle. Wen they hit the guardrail near the entrance, the barrel broke apart sending Mario, Luigi, and Aaron flying on land.
Mario however was filled with Chuckola Reserve and was knocked out.
The soldiers outside the entrance noticed them, went up to them, and one of them said, "Hmmm! Well, look at this! A very Mario-esque fellow, a lookalike of Aaron, and a Loo-uh, some other guy!"
"His name's Luigi..." Aaron said getting up, loosing his patience with the soldiers. Luigi then got up and said to the soldiers, "And that is Aaron and Mario, and he's filled up with the Chuckola Reserve that we needed."
"It's sloshing around in his insides?! Gross!" "Th-That's terrible! And sort of disgusting! We must contact Lady Lima immediately!"
"Hmm! By the way...What's Chuckola Reserve?" "Shh! I have no idea..."
Luigi and Aaron fell to the floor.
Later, inside the castle throne room...
We see Luigi, Aaron, and a Reserve-filled conscious Mario standing in front of Lady Lima and an asleep Queen Bean.
"Queen Bean has been in a deep sleep, just as you see her now." Lady Lima said, "Did you truly obtain some of the legendary Chuckola Reserve?" "Oh yeah./Yep."
The two then squeezed Mario, making him spit out all the Chuckola Reserve inside of him into Queen Bean's mouth.
"BLAAARF!"
When all the Reserve was inside of the queen, out came the bug that made the her act out of character. The three moved back as it landed on the floor.
"There's the Belly Belch worm!" Lady Lima said, as the worm left the room.
Then there was a big shine of light and when it went away, the queen was back to her normal self!
She laughed as Lady Lima said, "Ohhh! Success! A truly repugnant, yet truly tremendous success! Queen Bean has returned!"
As the queen sat on her throne, making the floor shake and everyone jump, she said, "Ahh, that's the hardest I've laughed in a long, long time. Well done, Lady Lima!" "No, Your Highness, it is not I, but rather Aaron and the Mario Bros. whom you must thank."
"It's great to have you back, Your Majesty." Aaron said. "Thank you, Aaron. How have things been in my absence?" "Well..."
He and the Bros. then filled her in about everything that happened.
"Hmm...So, Cackletta has stolen Princess Peach's voice and the Beanstar..."
"It was my fault..." said Lady Lima.
"Nonsense. But why would Cackletta steal the Beanstar and Princess Peach's voice in the first place?"
That question puzzled everyone.
"I think I might know." Aaron said, "Time for a tale, everyone.
*clears throat*The Beanstar is the protector of this land, and it has the power to grant any and all desires. So that no one use it for the wrong reasons, it was put into a deep sleep. Legend has it, a voice of great beauty's needed to wake the Beanstar. It has to be the voice of a pure and noble soul. My guess, Princess Peach is the only one with a voice like that."
Queen Bean then said, "So, the reason Cackletta stole Princess Peach's voice...Aha! She must plan to awaken the Beanstar and fulfil all of her desires!"
"And there's no mistaking her one true desire:" said Lady Lima, "to rule the world!"
The queen laughed then said, "Fear not! I foresaw this desire of hers long, long ago! We are prepared! Card for card, we have a better hand than she!"
Lady Lima's assistant appeared then said, "Your Highness! Prince Peasley has arrived!" "Perfect timing! Aaron! Master Mario! Master Luigi! Head out to meet Prince Peasley!"
The trio nodded and went out of the room to meet with the prince.
