Going down the way to the Hooniversity basement wasn't the easiest nor the hardest thing for the trio to do.

There was more Eekers, Mechakoopas, Viruses, and Laser Snifits to deal with, and when they got to the bottom, there was an out of action door.

Long story short, they got it back into action and went through it. On the other side, they were surprised to see something, well someone, well two someones that they weren't expecting to see next to the fallen Beanstar.

Popple and Bow- 'Rookie'. Phew, saved it.

"Hey, Boss! What's that shiny thing?" "This shape...This shine...This AURA, see?! If I ain't mistaken and I never am...This has gotta be the legendary Beanstar! I can't believe it just came falling down out of nowhere. It was shocking, see? But having treasure falling out of the sky sure is lucky! Yeah, that's right! Verrry lucky! Only Popple the shadow thief could get such results, see?"

I don't know if it counts as stealing if it just lands in front of you.

"You're amazing, Boss!"

A whisle was heard and the two turned to see our heros in red, green, and black.

"...Rookie!" "Yes, Boss!"

"Uh-Unless my eyes are screwy...Look there! It's the Red, Green, and Black from the Chateau!"

They did some moves making Popple say, "Well, boo! Boo to you, I say! Why does this always happen?! This isn't funny, see?

Rookie!" "Yes, Boss!" "These three numbskulls seem to like the old ring-a-ding-ding! Time to scrap again, see?" "Yes, Boss!"

Just as everyone was about to jump into battle, Aaron said, "Wait!" causing everyone to pause.

"Can we not literally fight over the Beanstar, please?" "Oh right." Mario said, before helping Aaron move the star to the side.

Now, the fight can begin. Cue it!

Play the battle theme 'Popple and Rookie DX' here.

We start off with Mario and Aaron doing their Launcher move on Popple. Then the three of them did their Super Bounce move on both of them.

After that, like last time, 'Rookie' threw hammers at them that the trio hit away with their hammers. Popple then ran at Luigi, only to be stomped on by him.

After a jump attack at 'Rookie' from Mario, Luigi did the Super Knockback move from his brother, then a Hammer whack on Popple was given from Aaron.

'Rookie' then was spitting hot fire, that's something I wasn't counting on saying today, at the three of them, making them have to jump over the flames. After that came more hammers.

The three did the Super Splash move on Popple, the Knockback move on 'Rookie', and the Super Chopper on 'Rookie' again.

'Rookie' then said, "Hey, Boss! These three guys are tougher than I thought!" "I guess we got no choice, see? Use THAT technique!"

The trio didn't like the sound of that.

Rookie grabbed Popple, and swung him around then threw him in the air. He then jumped up after him, grabbed him midair, then piledrived Popple into the ground!

Shockwaves were created that the trio had to jump over.

After that, Popple said with smoke coming from his head, "D-Did you see that?! *hacks and coughs* You're not the only ones who can make new moves!"

The trio each did their Super hammer relating Trio Attacks. After that, Popple and 'Rookie' did another attack.

This one started with 'Rookie' lighting Popple on fire and swinging him towards Mario. However, the older Italian was fast enough to counter with his hammer.

After a Splash move, Popple was K.O.'d, and after a Bounce move, 'Rookie' was K.O.'d.

Cut the music!

After the fight, we see Popple and 'Rookie' lying on the floor.

However, the silence in the air was cut a second.

By what? One of the Peach-bots from earlier. It fell and hit the floor, now making it defective. The defective robot started laughing in Peach's voice.

The very voice that made the Beanstar act out last time.

Like it is now.

The star in question rose from the ground, turned red, and grew to a large size.

It rose some more making Popple get up and say, "Oh no! Our treasure's gonna fly away, see?"

He jumped up and got onto the Beanstar, along with 'Rookie', who also got up.

"Come on!" Mario said, as he, Luigi, and Aaron got on as well.

The Beanstar then kept rising and rising, it even broke through the basement and out of the Hooniversity!

Up in the air, the Beanstar was flying the five of them far above the Beanbean Kingdom. Everyone started losing their grip.

Popple, then Luigi, Aaron, and Mario.

As 'Rookie' was still holding on, something came to him.

"Oh! I remember! I remember!" he said.

"I...I am...

Bowser the King!"

Great, he remember who he is. I can stop calling him 'Rookie' now.

At that moment though, Bowser fell off the Beanstar.

The star in question then shrank down and a second later, broke apart into four green pieces of itself!

The pieces of the Beanstar then fell down to the ground, scattered across the Beanbean Kingdom.

East Beanbean: Oho Oasis...

On a beach, we see Luigi and Mario laying flat on the ground.

They both got up after feeling a bit dazed from the fall and impact with the ground.

"Mama Mia..." said Mario, "That was some fall." "I'll say..." said Luigi.

"Uh guys, little help?"

They looked over to see Aaron, waist deep in the sand. He just swatted away two crabs that were bothering him. The brothers went over to him, grabbed his hands and pulled Aaron out of the sand. "Thanks."

"So, what do we do now?" Luigi said.

"Back to the castle, I guess," his brother said, "It's best we tell everyone about what happened. Aaron, how do we get there from here?"

"Well, right now we're at Oho Oasis. It'll take a while to get there from here, but the Oho Jees" [small creatures that have small, blonde tufts of hair and bird-like yellow beaks] "around here said something about a shortcut to Beanbean Castle Town. We have to go through a pipe that leads underwater then go through another pipe that goes back up to the surface. It's over there,"

Aaron pointed to the big yellow pipe that went into the water...yet it was on the other side of a wide gap separated from the shore.

"but there's no way to get over there. It's too wide for our Spin Jump, and I can't use my Stretch grab because there's nothing for me to grab onto."

"What about this?"

Mario was pointing at a structure that had three holes. Above each hole were the pictures of fire, a lightning bolt, and icicles. And in each hole respectively, was a bit of some kind of flammable material, an electric conductor, and a small stream of pouring water.

"That thing's been here for a long time. The only thing I think has something to do with it are the nearby temples."

"Temples?" they both asked.

"Yeah, the Fire, Thunder, and Frost temples. C'mon, I'll show you."

The bros followed Aaron to a structure that were on Oho Oasis. There were statues at the front and beside from the greige stone that it was made of, there was a little amount of blue here and there.

"Here's one of them: the Thunder temple."

Aaron led the Italians inside. They saw a couple of blue Oho Jees, but they payed them no mind.

After following Aaron to a room that was on the other side of a metal fence, he said, "There's something on the other side of this fence, but no one knows how to get past it." Then he realized something. "Until now.

Luigi, when you get on the other side, see what you can do."

"What are you-" *Whack!* "(muffled) Oh, I got it."

Luigi went under the fence then popped out of the ground and proceeded forward.

In the room ahead, he saw a single Oho Jee and a set of stairs with a cracked piece of wall at the top.

Luigi went up the stairs and out of curiosity, hit the wall with his hammer.

With the wall gone, there was now a way to what looked like a glass orb that was sparking blue sparks inside.

Before the man in green could go up to it, he had to duck and cover in fear after the room went dim and bolts of lightning struck down around him. On the final one, a person appeared getting the younger bro's attention.

The being that appeared from the lightning is wearing a white cloak, is floating in the air, and has a head in the shape of a crescent moon.

"To you who have wandered into Thunder Palace," he started, "these are the training grounds for the chosen few. I know not how you found your way here. Nor how you managed to enter this place, but I have no business with you...and you have none with me. Depart, posthaste." He then disappeared.

Luigi however instead of leaving like he was told to, went to the orb and cautiously touched it. He was then literally given a shock, an electric one.

There was then a sparking blue orb of energy in his palm, which gave him a figurative shock. "What is this?"

"CRRRACKITY!" That came from the figure from before who just reappeared.

"Who dares to touch the great Thunderhand spark?! Impertinent fool!"

He then looked at Luigi, who had a nervous smile and waved at him with his non-sparking hand.

"...And yet...You have touched the great Thunderhand spark, but still stand before me, so..."

He thought for a bit then said, "...Perhaps you have the qualities needed to master the galvanic Thunderhand technique. Come."

So we won't bore you with the demonstration, or the ones after this, we'll just say this:

After a short and careful demonstration, Luigi mastered the Thunderhand.

Afterwards, the guardian spirit said, "Hmm! Very well done...It is wise to use this power when an apparent conductor of electricity is nearby. You have done it! It is done! You have released me!"

"Released you? What do you mean?"

The guardian then disappeared.

The man in green blinked twice and went to leave the temple.

We see the three heading over to the Frost temple.

On the way there, Luigi explained what happened in the temple and even showed them his new Thunderhand powers.

How'd he get out of the temple in the first place? Well, there was an electric conductor that he powered and it opened a way back to the other two.

Anyway, they made it to the Frost temple and went in. Inside were a handful of white Oho Jees.

They went down a corridor and it led to a ledge that was on the other side of a gap. There was also a handle on the wall on the ledge.

Before Aaron could ask Mario to hit him with his hammer so he could get across, Mario already did it.

He stretched across and made his way down the corridor.

He was a room like akin to the one in the Thunder temple: A big room with a single Oho Jee and a set of stairs with a cracked piece of wall at the top.

He went up to the wall and hit it with his hammer. Now visible was an orb with some kind of white cloud swirling inside it.

After that, the room went dim and some kind of glowing sparkling orb fell from above and when it touched Aaron, he was normal and the folds in him were gone.

He looked at himself confused before shivering and gripping his jacket for a second while saying "Brr!". A chill filled the room for a second.

By the orb appeared, from swirls of visible cold air, another being in a white cloak like in the Thunder temple, except his head was in the shape of a star.

"To you who has stumbled in temple of Frost, I'm afraid to tell you you must be lost." he said, "You have no business being here. I must continue my post for many more years. Leave now and never return, unless there is a lesson you'd wish not to learn."

The being then disappeared. Aaron looked around and did the opposite of what he was told to do.

He went up to the orb and touched it.

He retracted his hands afterwards because the thing was colder than a nudist on an iceberg.

Like with Luigi, in his palm was now a sum of visible swirling cold winds in his hand. "What the?"

The being reappeared saying, "Congratulations male in black, you've touched the winds and not fallen back. Seems you are strong as well as calm to harness the power of the Frostpalm."

"Frostpalm?"

"Follow my instructions and you will seek that you've truly mastered this hand technique."

After yet another short and careful demonstration, Aaron mastered the Frostpalm.

"Nicely done, speckled male. You followed instructions and didn't fail. Now with the Frostpalm you can freeze any small streams of water with perfect ease. It also helps put out fires so keep that in mind as you continue your path."

"Uh, sir? You stopped rhyming."

"Well, it gets tiresome. Farewell."

The being disappeared as Aaron left.

This guy was less strict and more calmer than the one in the Thunder temple.

Aaron met up with the bros by putting out a fire, which was the source of a gate that was keeping a gate open. With it out, the gate lowered.

Now, over to the Fire temple.

When the three were inside, there were a couple of orange Oho Jees.

In the next room was a gate with a metal floor around it. They went down the hallway beyond it and there was a small hole in the wall that they couldn't fit through.

That was until Luigi whacked his brother in the head and Mini-Mario jumped through the hole in the wall.

When the man in red was in the next, what was in sight was the same thing as the first two temples: a single Oho Jee and a cracked wall at the top of a set of stairs.

Mario went up the stairs and hit it with his hammer.

When the wall was gone, in sight was a glass orb with a burning blame inside.

Then, at that moment, a sparkling orb fell from above and when it made contact with Mario, he was at normal height.

The brother looked at himself confused before his attention was caught by someone who appeared from fire.

He was another white cloaked being, but this one's head was in the shape of the sun.

"Welcome! Yes, welcome! Welcome to the Fire Palace!" he said, "I have been waiting for you. I have waited many long years, smoldering like embers. *turns around* For you I have kept waiting...and waiting...and WAITING! In fact, the last time anyone came through here was...

three thousand years ago!

Oh, waiting just burns me up! But enough about that...

...So, why have you come?"

"Um, shouldn't you be the one to tell me what I'm-a meant to do? You're the one who's been in this place longer."

"Well, this place...Um, this place of power...It is, uh...This place is..."

He then started looking around the room confused.

"Now, wait a second...Just what kind of place is this, anyway? What was it that I was planning on doing? Am I allowed in here?

Huh? Wait just a minute! Where am I? WHO am I?"

Mario sweatdropped.

"Hm! I guess having no guests for three thousand years takes a toll. Everything just seems to...slip one's mind!"

He laughed before saying, "So! I guess you can do what you want! I won't stop you!"

He disappeared and Mario went up to the orb after shrugging his shoulders. He did say he could do what he wanted.

Mario touched the orb and quickly retracted them. He burned his hands when he touched it. Luckily, he wears gloves.

Then right after, in his palm was now a a burning ball of fire which alarmed him a bit.

The being reappeared and said, "Oh! Wait! I just remembered! This is the famed Fire Palace where we teach the way of the blistering Hand Power! Yes...It is all coming back...I have been waiting for you. You want the Hand Power, right? You want to master the fiery Hand Power known as Firebrand, do you not?

You do, right? Right? RIGHT?"

"Um..."

"You do not need to tell me. Your pose says it all. I shall instruct you in the arts of the Firebrand!"

After a final short and quick demonstration, Mario mastered the Firebrand.

"I see no problem with your skill. If you just do this action near something flammable, you should have no problems! Surely this skill will open new paths in your life! Wouldn't you agree? So...Farewell!"

He disappeared and Mario left to meet back up with Aaron and Luigi.

He got to them by using his new hand powers to light a flame in a hole that activated the gate from earlier.

When the trio met up, they went to the wall from earlier by the beach.

"Now that we've all got-a Hand Powers we should be able to activate something to get us to the pipe." said Mario.

Each one of them stood in front of the hole corresponding to their Hand Powers and held out their hands at it.

"All together. Fire!" "Thunder!" "Frost!"

When the fire lit, the conductor was powered, and the water was frozen, there was a rumble afterwards and they looked to see that rocks rose from out of the water to make a bridge to the pipe.

The three smiled at each other and went to and into the pipe. When they fell to then fit the bottom of the pipe, they all nodded at each other and went out of it and into the ocean.

Mario and Luigi are known for doing stuff like this, and Aaron can handle being underwater for hours, so to the trio, this wasn't much.

There were a couple of puzzles that they had to get by with their Hand Powers, and they had to fight things like Bloopers, Elite Pestnuts, and Goomdivers[Goombas in diving helmets], but they managed like they always have on this adventure.

After another quick battle, the three made it to the other pipe that Aaron was talking about.

When they were in, they could breathe.

To get out of the pipe, they put their backs together, and climbed up using their feet.

Suddenly, Luigi said, "I know this sounds out of the blue, but does anyone wonder where Bowser ended up landing?"

"No." "At one point."

"Oh, okay. Just asking."

Meanwhile, at Stardust Fields...

The Koopa King in question was lying unconscious on the ground.

Then at that moment, Fawful who was slightly banged up, was limping over to Bowser. And in his helmet was Cackletta's life force, swirling around.

"Oh...G-Great...Ca-Cackletta..." he started, "W-Will this guy...do?"

"Any...Anyone will do now...Hurry...Quickly..."

The vacuum hose on Fawful's helmet, spat out Cackletta's soul and she flew into Bowser's face.

In purple smoke, Bowser's face started to change.

From the smoke was seen Cackletta's purple eyes, then, a sharp toothed grin. The teeth chomped twice, then a stream of fire shot out of the mouth.

This could not end well.

Oh, uh, something I gotta say here, the genderbent story I'm working on is still taking a while.

It was supposed to be series of one-shots with Aaron having adventures with genderbent Mario and Luigi in the Mushroom kingdom.

It's taking a while, because I'm out of ideas for it.

If you guys have any ideas for it, feel free to tell me.

Anyway, bye!
