I got bored and I already had most of this written anyway, so...

Midnight: I thought you were going to wait?

When have I been known to be patient?

Midnight: Fair.

As we were all gathered back in the portrait room, I could tell pretty much everyone was on edge now.

"I thought I heard Sparklez say something about a flint and steel?" Stacy said. Stampy stopped pacing around in circles for a moment to look at her.

"Oh, please don't bring that up again." He pleaded. Lukas called Jesse's attention to Sparklez's portrait, replaced by the crossed out version. How and when Cassie had the time to do that was beyond me.

"Well obviously TorqueDawg didn't steal it." Lizzie pointed out.

"Okay, but who then?" Dan asked.

The rest of our Order gathered around the two crossed out portraits, Ivor's next in line.

"Well. I guess I'm next then." He said this so calmly that I honestly wanted to ask him if he was okay.

"Don't worry Ivor. I'll protect you." Jesse promised.

"I'm sure there's a perfectly logical explanation for how the White Pumpkin is doing all this." Lukas said. "I mean, the whole place has gotta be littered with traps, right? TorqueDawg - trap. Sparklez - trap."

"If we could find out how these traps work, maybe that'll get us closer to finding the killer." I grinned, despite that connection being incredibly obvious.

The Youtubers and the other Order continued to talk while my Order gathered around the dining room entrance.

"All right," Jesse started. "I'm going to investigate that dining room."

I thought about asking to go instead, but decided against it. After all, I was going to be accused by everyone except the two Orders, so it wouldn't really make sense.

Unless I switched seats with someone.

After a quick glance at Lukas, I quickly rejected that plan, too. He and Zenna were the only ones I could reasonably trade places with, and I'd feel horrible if I did that to either of them.

"Cool. I'll keep those guys in the hall for now so I can keep an eye on everyone." Petra looked back at everyone else.

"An excellent idea. Wouldn't want them messing up the crime scene." We all took that as Ivor's plan to stay behind as well.

"Guess I'll stay back, too." I didn't really have a reason I could give, but thankfully, nobody asked for one.

"I'm sticking with you, Jesse. Doesn't seem safe to wander off alone." Lukas offered. Jesse nodded, and the two left for the dining room.

"Okay people, clear out! This is a crime scene!" Ivor yelled, much to the annoyance of several Youtubers.

I sat down and stared aimlessly, not having anything else important to do.

So what better time for a flashback?

Everyone noticed it but me.

The tensions between the Admins had been clear to all but one.

While I saw nothing wrong, others noticed the strained smiles when discussing Romeo, or the way the three began talking to each other less and less.

The most trusted in all three towns were asked to keep a close eye on me. To make sure I wasn't aware of what was going on.

To make sure I didn't see what would result from the growing tension.

Well unfortunately for them, I found out anyway.

I woke up earlier than usual one day, and the house was silent. That should've been the first warning. Even in the early mornings, as I knew, there was always something going on somewhere nearby.

When I looked around, it was almost like everyone but me had disappeared overnight.

But faintly, I could hear something. Or rather, someone. There was a conversation happening that I couldn't quite make out, but someone was definitely talking to someone else. The voice was coming from outside, so I made my way there as quietly as I could, just in case someone was still sleeping.

As the voice grew louder, I slowly came to the realization that I was only hearing one side. Either the other person was talking too quietly for me to hear or they weren't at all.

This eventually led me to a room that I couldn't even try to remember the purpose of. The door was just slightly open. With my curiosity growing, I decided to peek through.

And what I saw would be the catalyst of everything falling apart in the First World.

"Midnight?"

I snapped out of my trance.

No one else really had the time to speak, because the White Pumpkin recording had suddenly started up again in the dining room. So of course, that's where everyone ran, thinking that (s)he had returned, even though (s)he said the exact same thing as before.

"The trap that killed Sparklez, the whole show with the White Pumpkin… It was all triggered by a button on the table." As long as there wasn't a surprise fifth button or something, everyone but Dan, Stampy, Lizzie, and I would be fine.

"But… what does that mean?" Lizzie asked, as if it wasn't clear already.

"It means that the White Pumpkin sat at this very table and pushed the button." I suddenly remembered that this wasn't actually true. Yes, Cassie was sitting at the table, but she didn't push the button because she wasn't sitting near one.

"Wait! So you're saying that the White Pumpkin… is one of us?!" Stampy realized.

"That's right, Mr. Stampy. One of us… is a murderer." As usual, and expected, dramatic lightning flashed outside. More than one person was confused by it, but no one pointed it out.

"And he sat right… here!" Ivor knelt and looked at one of the buttons.

"Wait, but that's not where Jesse found the button before-!"

"You mean there's more than one?!" Jesse looked back at Lukas, like he was supposed to know the answer.

"I'll see if I can find all of them."

I watched as Lukas went around the table, not paying attention to much else. He remembered where we were sitting, because when he got to my button, he paused for a moment before sticking an arrow into the spot on the table. Once he was done, Jesse started to command everyone else again.

"If you could all please take the same seat you were at before…"

I knew things would turn out okay in the end, but looking at the arrow in front of me was anxiety inducing.

"Four of your seats are marked." I tried not to show any relief at the fact that there was no extra button, no other complications. "These are the seats that had a button to activate the trap. That means that the White Pumpkin could only be Dan, Stampy, Lizzie, or…" He paused for a second. "Midnight…"

Immediately, this claim was met with opposition.

"Wait, you're accusing us?!"

I did see that Dan was the only one who didn't say anything to this, likely because he knew exactly what happened to Sparklez.

"Hey, would you people all just calm down?"

It's not like I just accused you all of double homicide or anything.

You have no right to talk, you've got a button, too.

Doesn't mean a thing.

Oh, really?

Of course it means something…

"'Calm?' Listen to this, talking about 'calm!'" Stampy objected.

"I'm taking charge now, and I'm going to get to the bottom of this." Jesse walked down the line. "I want everyone separated, I'm going to talk to each suspect one by one so I can find out who's telling the truth… and who's lying." He stopped just in front of Cassie before turning back around. "I've got a whole lot of questions, and I want nice little matching answers for each and every one of them. Understand me?"

"Loud and clear." Stacy replied, though I'm not entirely sure why.

"Yes. Crystal clear." Stampy followed up.

"Who are you going to interrogate first?"

After about two seconds of consideration, Jesse pointed at Dan, who was promptly dragged into the library by Petra. They were soon followed by the other Jesse. Everyone else stayed behind.

Great.

Midnight: So... interrogations, huh?

Gotta love 'em.

Midnight: And speaking of questions...

At the time of writing, only one person actually saw that video.

Midnight: Well, plenty of people are going to see this, right?

Oh, yeah.

Midnight: So...?

I posted a video on my Youtube channel (Do not scroll down to look at older videos if you don't want to have a bad day from the sheer cringe-worthy content I had...) The most recent one I posted explains what Midnight's so excited about.

Midnight: Really?

What? It's easier to see comments on Youtube anyway. Especially if I want to have that idea done before May 30th.

Midnight: Whatever, let's just get this out there.

Right. See you next time!
