Let me just start by saying that I finished this chapter really late last night and then immediately tried to go to sleep so there may be some formatting or something that I missed. Also, this chapter has officially taken the record for the longest I've ever written.

It was far too quiet outside the library.

With suspicions higher than ever now that two people were dead, everyone was sticking around those they trusted. Though, even between the remaining Youtubers and Cassie, there was tension in the air.

Occasionally, Petra would come out and bring in other suspects, but other than that, there wasn't much happening.

It was either Lukas or Cassie, but I could've sworn someone was staring at me. I would've said Zenna, but she was staring at her Lukas. In all honesty, I don't know how we were able to tell our groups apart. Maybe we'd just spent a lot of time with them.

After what felt like forever, Cassie decided it'd be a lovely idea to drag me into the library for an interrogation.

"Oh come on, are you serious?" I was pleading for her to let me go the entire time, but she refused.

"You had a button too! Fair's fair." She looked at Jesse, the wrong one, but she couldn't tell. "It's your buddy's turn next."

I sighed, glad she finally left, and summarized everything I would've said with one sentence.

"Just letting you two know that I didn't push that button."

"I figured. Thanks for the reassurance, though." Jesse responded. I could've also told them I didn't even know it was there, but oh well.

There's not much else to say about what happened in there, just that it was definitely the shortest time for an 'interrogation' ever.

Of course, as soon as everyone saw the Jesses, Petra, and I leave the library, they immediately had questions.

"So, have you decided?" Stacy asked.

"Yes, who do you think the White Pumpkin is?" Stampy followed up.

"Now hold on, everyone." Jesse managed to get them to quiet down. "First of all, I want to thank everyone for answering our questions. There's still not 100% proof of anyone, but…"

"But?"

"Yes, where are your suspicions leading, Jesse?" Ivor's curiosity was growing by the minute. So was mine, honestly. Since I had no control over anything, it was up to fate who they chose.

Well, you have some control.

Not over this, I don't.

The pause led to people accusing each other again.

"Jesse was definitely questioning Stampy the longest." Lizzie accused.

Stampy protested immediately. "What? No!"

"Dan was in there way longer!" Argued Stacy.

"Hey, not cool!"

"Guys, guys, come on." Cassie tried to be the sane person in the group, but it really wasn't working. Not to me, anyway.

"I don't think there's evidence to accuse anyone yet."

"What?" Cassie gasped. Everyone else showed the same mix of surprise and confusion.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to accuse anyone unless I'm 100% sure, and I'm not." Jesse agreed. Huh, they really weren't so different.

"Wow, way to take a bold stance, Jesse."

This prompted Dan to speak up. "Well, I for one am not comfortable being surrounded by possible killers. So, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to barricade myself in the library for my own safety."

Uh, I think something just changed…

What do you mean?

I mean that I think something's about to happen that didn't happen in the game.

Like that hasn't been this entire episode so far.

She was silent after that. I did take note, though.

The other Youtubers had already left, staying together for their safety.

"Well, that was certainly some excitement." The other Ivor muttered.

"Yeah, no kidding." Lukas agreed.

"If the White Pumpkin is still around though," Petra started, "They might be trying to set up more traps. We need to figure out how these things work. Like, we know that the Sparklez trap was triggered by those buttons under the table, but what about the trap that turned TorqueDawg into a pincushion? If we figure out how these things work, we might be able to find more proof about who the White Pumpkin is, how they're operating…"

"It must have been triggered from nearby, just like the table buttons!" The other Jesse realized.

"Sounds like we need to investigate near the traps then." The other Ivor stated.

Both versions of Lukas agreed to stay behind and watch the door to make sure no one tried anything. I obviously wasn't going with them either, even though I kind of wanted to.

Zenna must've realized something, because she came up to me and made sure no one else could hear.

"Whatever happens, we have to make sure you are as far away from the chase scene as possible. We can't have you being framed or something."

I nodded. "Okay."

Both Orders, minus Lukas, their Lukas, and I, went to check out the kitchen.

I noticed I keep getting put in situations where I have an opportunity to talk to Lukas when there aren't many people around.

So what else was I to do but talk to him?

"How are you holding up?" He asked before I even had the chance to open my mouth.

I smirked. "Oh, you know, I've been accused of two murders by five people, but I'm fine."

He wasn't smiling. He just looked… sad. With a sigh, I went in for the hug.

"I was kidding, obviously…"

"I know."

Wait…what?

"You jerk!" I couldn't keep the grin off my face if I tried though. "You just wanted a hug, didn't you?"

He shrugged, finally showing a smile. "Maybe?"

I hadn't even noticed Lizzie sneaking into the library, neither had either Lukas, but at some point she had.

I only knew because the cage had slammed down in front of the door on the other side, alerting their attention to the fact it was now locked. The voices on the other side were slightly muffled, but I was able to hear one of the Jesses.

"Spiders, they're everywhere!"

They went off to find another way in, while I, not knowing what to do, tried to get the door to open.

It did open, just not from my side.

Seven of the nine people that went to the kitchen burst through the door, trying to find out where the Jesses were. I ran after them, meeting up with the Youtubers and finally reaching the room with the four missing Order members.

"What's going on in here?!" Petra shouted.

For starters, the White Pumpkin had disappeared somehow, despite Cassie showing up from another room. Zenna's Lukas was holding the pumpkin head while mine looked like he had been kicked in the leg. Meanwhile, both Jesses were also confused, the lights must have just turned on as we ran in.

"You've caught the White Pumpkin!" Stampy gasped from behind. "Grab him, quick!"

"On it!" Stacy, Stampy, and Cassie all moved forward, only to be stopped by the leaders.

"It wasn't him."

"My friend was there with him the entire time, it couldn't have been him." Now if I wasn't at one of the buttons, that probably would've been a good alibi. Unfortunately for Jesse and Lukas, I was, so that didn't help at all.

"Well, then, it's both of them!" Stacy argued.

I watch your entire Diversity 1 and 2 playthroughs with IHasCupquake and this is the thanks I get?

I… what?

Just roll with it.

"Lukas wasn't even at one of the buttons! How could it possibly be him?" Zenna explained.

"Look, these horrible things only started happening when your groups arrived! And now… Dan is gone, too."

Wait, what?! But Stampy wasn't accused!

Remember when I said I thought something had changed?

Oh.

"I say we throw them outside and let nature take its course." Cassie most definitely did not sound like a complete psychopath or anything. Even the Youtubers were surprised by this.

"What? 'Outside' outside?!"

"Where all the googlies are?!"

Jesse was not going to stand for this. "No, you can't do that!"

"I don't know, guys," Lizzie finally spoke up. "They tried to save us. It feels wrong to throw their friends out to the zombies." She said, much to the relief of pretty much everyone but Cassie.

"Don't go celebrating just yet. We've still got to do something with you so you're not just roaming around freely."

"Like what?" The other Lukas asked. "Lock us up in a closet or something?"

Immediately after he finished the question, Stampy piped up. "There was a closet in the main hall with a lovely metal door, seems like the perfect place to lock someone up!"

The smirk on that Lukas' face fell just as quickly. The color seemed to drain from my Lukas' face as well.

"Oh, well… I mean, I was mostly joking-" He tried, nearly getting cut off by Cassie.

"I guess that's fair. But I'm keeping guard, because I still don't trust them."

Everyone was quiet.

"...You guys okay with that?" Asked the other Jesse.

I… don't think they are…

"Well, I'd prefer not being locked in a closet…"

In the end, both Ivors agreed to look after the blondies with Cassie. Once they left, the Jesses got to investigating the room to find out how the White Pumpkin escaped.

"Hey, Midnight!" At some point, I zoned out, but Zenna brought me back to reality.

"Oh, hey!"

She told me about the Admin book she had, about all the ripped pages she found. I really wanted to ask her about the paragraph I found in mine, but the secret passageway to the White Pumpkin's lair had already been found.

"Oh wow, you got it open!" Stampy exclaimed.

"Yeah, you guys should stay here, it could be dangerous." Petra told them.

"No, I totally want to follow you into your friends' creepy secret passageways." Stacy rolled her eyes.

The remaining members of both Orders went into the passage, and since Lukas wasn't around, I followed them in.

"See? Told you we'd make it!" The other Jesse said.

"Yeah, I just hope that this works…"

"You think we're gonna find the White Pumpkin down here?" Petra asked Jesse.

"I'll be honest, I hope we do." He responded. "And this time he's not walking away with just a scar on his mask."

"Brutal, I like it." Kinda concerning, if I'm being honest.

"Hey, do you guys hear…" The other Jesse trailed off. In the distance, zombies could be heard, and unfortunately, smelled.

As it turned out, the smell of rotting flesh was really gross.

"Lots and lots of zombies?" Petra finished. "Yeah, I do. Starting to smell them, too."

"Sure everyone can agree." I groaned, knowing I would never be able to forget this.

We passed the cages holding all the zombies, discovering that this was where the sea outside came from. We also found out where all the hoppers that took everyone's stuff went to, just as Dan's fell into the small pool.

A tunnel that wasn't caged off proved to be our way out of the room, but there weren't enough blocks to make the tower a comfortable width, meaning Zenna and I were close to falling off the entire time. We were just about to jump to the tunnel when a spider came out of nowhere and started climbing up the small tower.

None of us fell, thankfully.

Though, as we grew ever closer to discovering the White Pumpkin's true identity, there was a lot of hissing. And meowing.

"Weird, that almost sounds like…"

"Cats?"

Zenna's Jesse slowly turned the corner before abruptly letting out a shriek and knocking the head right off an armor stand. He quieted down a little too quickly…

Nah, he was just embarrassed.

Right before a set of iron doors, there was a small farm, growing only white pumpkins.

"It's just some sort of growing station, weird."

There was the sound of footsteps from behind us. We turned around to find a large shadow with cat ears on the wall, growing closer as the person approached.

"The White Pumpkin must have heard us!" Zenna's Jesse panicked. Mine said nothing, just pulled out his sword and waited as the 'White Pumpkin' turned the corner and yelped.

"Stampy Cat?!"

"Boy, you gave me a fright! What are you guys doing down here?" He asked, which was kinda weird. After all, he saw us come down here, didn't he?

"We're trying to catch the White Pumpkin." Jesse answered.

"Oh, I was afraid of that…" Stampy mumbled. "I needed to find you because I have something important to tell you! I have something to confess, something I haven't told anyone."

"...Where is this going?"

Stampy pulled out a green enchanted flint and steel.

"I stole it from Dan. It was just supposed to be a joke, a harmless prank, but then… Well, you've seen what happened."

"Wow. Didn't see that coming." It was hard to tell if Jesse was actually surprised or not, given the blank look on his face.

"Definitely suspicious." Petra agreed.

"I know!" Stampy yelled. "That's why I had to keep it a secret! I may be a thief, but I'm no killer! But that White Pumpkin is, and he's killing people for it! And now we're done in his lair! I was thinking, maybe I should… just give it to the White Pumpkin."

"What?"

"Just maybe that would make it all stop, right? Maybe?"

"First we need to figure out who the White Pumpkin really is, then we'll figure out what to do from there." Jesse replied. Since Dan was gone, Stampy couldn't just return it like normal.

"I…I suppose that's a better strategy."

A pair of iron doors was in sight.

"That looks like a lair door if I ever saw one." Petra observed.

Jesse opened the doors using the lever, and we all stepped through to the lair.

The meowing, if you're wondering, was coming from a bunch of cats that all looked like Winslow.

"Don't worry, we'll get it out of here as soon as we find something that proves the White Pumpkin's identity." Jesse announced as he and Zenna's Jesse went to their thing.

This time, Zenna and I helped. I went to grab the string from some cobwebs while Jesse found some sticks and ender pearls in a chest. After crafting a fishing rod, Zenna and her Jesse went to catch a fish from the pond nearby. When all was said and done, every single cat in the room was lured away by the fish, not just the one on the chest we needed to move.

"Ugh, cats give me the creeps!" Petra groaned. Then, as she realized who was in the room, added on, "No offense, Stampy."

"None taken… I'm not really a cat!" He whispered, rather loudly at that.

Jesse was finally able to open the chest, finding all the crossed out portraits of… almost everyone. He placed one on the wall, revealing it to be one of the Petras, but which one wasn't clear.

"Oh, I do not like that."

"I guess he already had all the x-ed out ones ready to go."

"Wow, there's everyone in there! Even me…" It was weird seeing a crossed out portrait for myself. Thankfully, it wouldn't be used.

Not this time, anyway.

Huh?

Nothing.

"Honestly, I kinda want to keep mine." Zenna said, in what I could only assume was a joking way.

"Why?" Even her Jesse was confused.

"Eh, it's kind of a souvenir or something. I'd like something to remember this by!"

"But… why?!"

"I dunno-"

She shrugged, before grabbing her portrait and pocketing it.

"Wait, you're actually taking it?" I asked. "I thought you were just kidding."

"Oh, I was, but now I simply feel that I must actually do it."

"...But what does it mean?" The other Petra asked. "The cats, the crossed out portraits…"

"Yeah, the portraits, there was one person who didn't have a crossed-out portrait, someone who's a known cat person…" Jesse pondered.

"Okay, so who did it?" The other Petra asked.

"Yes, you figured it out?" Stampy wondered.

Finally, Jesse revealed the answer. "The White Pumpkin… is Cassie Rose. She's the murderer."

Somehow, although we were deep underground, lightning flashed and thunder roared.

"Oh man, you're totally right!"

"I don't believe it…"

"Ugh, not only is she the White Pumpkin, but she owns way, way too many cats!" I swear Petra was going to draw her sword if she ever saw a cat again after this.

"Well, come on you guys!" Jesse shouted. "It's time to prove our friends' innocence and catch us a White Pumpkin!"

"I'll go round everyone up!" Stampy ran off to gather everyone not already present.

"What's going on?" Asked Stacy, as she and Lizzie approached.

"You were down there for a while," The pink haired girl started, "Did you even find anything?"

"Quickly, where's Cassie Rose?" Jesse ignored their questions.

"Cassie? What, why?"

"Yeah, what's up?" Cassie walked in.

The staring match that ensued was cut off by Stampy entering with everyone else just moments later.

"No sign of Cassie, but… Oh!"

"Are you going to tell them?" Jesse started. "Or should I just do it?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." She lied.

"The White Pumpkin… is Cassie Rose. She's the murderer!" No one else seemed to notice the small lightning strike outside.

"No way! That can't be true, right?" Lizzie responded.

"Yeah, Jesse. I'm afraid you're going to have to do better than that," Cassie's voice was calm, yet still cold. "Look at the facts, we caught Lukas and his weirdo lookalike with that pumpkin head right after poor Dan got taken out! I think you're just lying to protect them." Odd how she didn't bring up the fact that I was at a button, but oh well.

"Cassie's making a lot of sense, Jesse. Do you have any evidence to back you up?" Lizzie questioned.

Thus, the evidence presenting began.

"There's something that's been bothering me for a while now, something that happened in the Great Hall shortly after TorqueDawg was hit with that trap." Jesse began.

"What's that?"

"Cassie Rose was already in the room. No one else was there, and TorqueDawg's picture was somehow crossed out."

"That doesn't prove anything, your blond friends are still way guiltier looking!"

"Well, what about what came next? When we were down in the basement we found some very interesting items, items for the White Pumpkin's evening… festivities. And there was one very significant detail. The White Pumpkin had portraits all ready to go, pre-x'd out, one for each of us, except for Cassie."

Cue the dramatic gasps.

"You're doing great, Jesse." Petra encouraged. "Now go in for the kill… metaphorically."

"But it was the last piece of evidence, my dear friends, that helped me really figure out who we were dealing with here. Cats, dozens of calico cats, and they all looked just like Winslow." Jesse revealed.

Cassie then moved in front of Winslow to hide him. "An amusing story, Jesse, but if you really saw all these supposed cats just like mine, then what color is Winslow? Shouldn't be a problem if you saw a hundred."

Confidence added a darker tone to Jesse's voice as he spoke. "Winslow is black, white, and orange."

Cassie moved away, already knowing the answer.

Winslow was indeed black, white, and orange.

"Cassie, is all this true?" Stacy asked. But before Cassie could answer, Jesse interrupted.

"This whole thing has been about your crazy scheme to get a portal key, hasn't it? Killing whoever gets in your way."

For just a moment, Cassie was caught off guard. But then her expression was blank again as she clapped, slow and sarcastic.

"How very clever, Jesse. Well, I guess that's it then, you caught me. I am the murderer."

Again, lightning flashed when it really shouldn't have, given that the sky was now clear.

"But what did any of us ever do to you?" The other Jesse asked.

"Directly? Nothing. But you idiots had the one thing that I most desperately needed." She began pacing around the room, glaring at everyone. "I've been stuck in this stupid world, with its stupid two moons, for years! Trapped, with a portal right under my nose, but no key to open it. That is, until I finally heard that this world's portal key had been found. I knew it was one of you, so I tried to earn your friendship, figure out who had it."

"How could you, Cassie?"

"Well, the jokes on you, because Stampy had the portal key the whole time." Zenna's Jesse said.

"What?!" Shouted Lizzie.

"...Stampy? Really?" Cassie may have been in disbelief, but it was really hard to tell.

"Oh come on, look at the big picture, people! The big picture!" Stampy tried to divert the sudden attention back to Cassie.

"We need to do something with you, 'Cassie Rose'."

"I vote we build an obsidian prison and surround it with lava!"

"No, no, no, no, no! I won't let you do that!" Cassie shrieked, suddenly sounding terrified. "I can't, no! This is your fault, you did this to me!"

The majority of people stalked forward, weapons out. Cassie herself drew an enchanted diamond axe.

I should really make a new axe.

Not the time.

"I'll fight all of you, each and every one of you! I'll-"

She stumbled onto a pit of sand that caved in below her. More came from the ceiling, in an eerie parallel to how Sparklez died.

"Another trap! We need to dig her out!" Stampy was already digging up sand.

"After everyone she's hurt? She can dig herself out." Stacy folded her arms and stood aside. Zenna and I didn't help, knowing it wouldn't change anything.

"Wait, look!" Stampy noticed a bunch of random items floating about in the sand, none of which was Cassie's axe. "I can't believe it, she's gone."

"What a way to go." Ivor said.

"Yeah, I guess in all the chaos, she forgot where her own traps were… Wow."

Are they actually falling for this?

"Poor Cassie," The other Jesse mumbled. "She did some terrible things, but no one deserves to be trapped away from home like that."

Huh. How ironic.

"If only she just asked us for help, we could have avoided this whole thing."

"Hey, it's morning." Jesse noticed.

It was, in fact, morning. The zombies outside were finally burning to death, becoming nothing but rotten flesh.

"I guess… I guess that's it then."

"Yeah, we're free!"

"And we're alive!" Ivor interrupted. "Let's not waste it standing around, there could still be traps everywhere in here!"

No one needed to be told twice.

After being trapped in the mansion for so long, the warmth of the sun was exhilarating.

"Ah, I've never been so happy to smell rotting flesh." I couldn't help but agree with Zenna's Ivor, there.

"Yeah, that is… Yikes, that is pretty rank."

"I feel bad that Dan and Sparklez aren't here to smell it," Lizzie sighed. "Or TorqueDawg and Cassie, I guess."

"It is really sad that they're gone, but I think they'd be happy that you guys made it out okay." Jesse replied.

"I think you're right."

"Luckily for us, that portal brought all of you here."

"Speaking of which," Ivor spoke up. "I have no idea how to begin finding our exit portal."

"Well, Cassie said it was right under her nose, right?" Stampy asked.

"That's true…" Jesse thought. "Maybe it's nearby."

He began walking down the stairs, and the rest of us followed.

"Hey, whaddya know, there it is!"

"A fabulous coincidence!"

"So, I guess this is goodbye, huh?" Stacy asked.

"Yeah, just let us know if you ever accidentally find yourselves in our world, heh," Zenna's Lukas laughed.

Wait, when did he get back? When did my Lukas get back?

"I mean, that's a nice offer and all, but I don't think we'll be portal hopping without a portal key."

"Oh, well I think Stampy's got you covered, there." Jesse reminded them.

"That's right! In all the excitement, I almost forgot about that!"

"It was just meant to be a prank, a harmless prank, and I am so sorry, so very, very sorry!"

"Yeah, come on, it's Stampy! You know he would never actually try to hurt anyone."

"Hey, it's cool guys. You can share it!" The other Jesse suggested. "Make, like, your own Order of the Stone!"

"Yeah, I guess I could live with that."

"Yes, that's a wonderful idea."

"Well, I'm not great at goodbyes, so… I'm actually just going to start walking home," Stacy was already walking away. "Thanks for everything."

"Me too, bye you guys!" Lizzie followed.

"Byeeeeeeeeee!" Stampy ran off to catch up with them.

All of us except the two Ivors waved, creating a sea of eight different arms.

"What a strange, strange bunch of individuals."

"Cassie Whatshername was talking about being trapped here, from another world… What if she was one of the Old Builders?" I lost track already of how many times Ivor had said that…

"Man, that's too bad if it's true, seeing as she turned out to be… y'know, the White Pumpkin and all." Jesse sighed.

"Yes, hadn't thought about that…"

"I just can't believe we finally met someone who might be an Old Builder, and she's a pumpkin-wearing serial killer. Typical."

Finally, we reached the portal… Well, you know how this goes.

"Well, here we are. Would you like to do the honors, Jesse?"

Zenna's Jesse went up to the empty frame, pulling out his flint and steel and attempting to light it.

But nothing happened.

"That's… weird."

A meow from the top of the portal frame. It was none other than Winslow.

"Winslow?"

"That's strange, I thought-"

Suddenly, the ground below us caved in, and all of us fell.

As though to make up for some of us sticking the landing at the beginning of the episode, we all fell on top of each other.

"Augh, what happened?"

"I can't see."

Several lights suddenly powered on, revealing the obsidian pit we were trapped in/over. The platform we were on was narrow, it was a miracle no one fell into the sea of endermites below.

Though, it probably wouldn't take very long for them to kill us if we had, given that the fall alone took quite a lot of health. And that's with armor (With the exception of Zenna, who I noticed didn't have any).

"And there it is, Jesse! You're trapped, stuck!" Cassie's voice echoed from above. She let out a laugh, one that actually sent a chill down my spine.

"Come on, Cassie. Just let us go and we can go our separate ways."

"After everything you've done to me? No. I don't know how much time you've spent with endermites, but the poor things are eternally hungry. I would throw the flint and steel up here before I drop you down to find out just how sharp their teeth are."

Both Jesses quickly realized neither of them had a flint and steel anymore, dropping them when we fell.

"Uh, tick tock, tick tock, Jesse? What's it gonna be, the flint and steel, or your lives?"

"Okay, you're right, you win. We'll give you the flint and steel, but let us out first."

"Hah, no, I'm not falling for that one. Nope, this is taking too long, I'll just let the endermites eat you and fish it out of your inventory."

She grinned as she put on her mask, and it changed her voice along with it.

"It'll be the best fishing trip ever!"

Someone gasped, maybe multiple people.

"Winslow, my pet, activate the trap!"

Winslow, as any cat would, did nothing. Cassie, annoyed, flipped the switch herself.

"Prepare for your death."

The platform split in half, trapping one Order on one side and the other on the other side.

The Jesses used the ender pearls from earlier to teleport to the control panel after realizing they weren't going to bust through the iron doors. One of them pulled the lever, but that just made the platform move faster.

"Uh, it just started going faster!"

"She booby-trapped her booby-traps? That is so… paranoid."

The lever was removed, but of course it wouldn't be that simple.

"What, you thought you could do it? Just like that? Trying to get 'leverage'?"

I swear I wanted to make a pun just like that, but I guess Cassie beat me to the punchline.

"Gimme that key!"

Since I was focused on trying not to fall off the edge and die, I couldn't really pay much attention to what was going on up there.

There were only a few blocks between the four of us on either side and certain death, so believe me when I say we were all thankful to get that lever and free ourselves.

On the way to freedom, I spotted a flint and steel. Since no one else noticed it, I figured I'd grab it and find out which Jesse it belonged to later.

"Winslow, where are you? We have to go. What have I told you about wandering off?"

"I think you should give that back, Cassie."

"No, I'm afraid not."

She pulled a lever, and the sand bridge the two leaders were standing on began to fall as they ran to the edge. Barely, they were able to make it.

"I'll give you one thing, you are incredibly tenacious!"

They ran towards her with swords in hand. But before they could reach her, she pulled out the other flint and steel and struck it, casting blue fire on two blocks of netherrack.

"That's netherrack, Jesse! It stays on fire forever!"

With what she assumed to be the last of the obstacles out of the way, she walked off towards the portal, revealed by yet another lever.

Finally, the Jesses looked up and saw us.

"Winslow! Winslow, come on! Oh for the love of… you know I love you but you make me very tired sometimes!"

"Hey! Hey, White Pumpkin!" The other Jesse called, trying to catch her attention.

"Yes, Jesse?"

"Nothing, just wanted to get your attention."

"I don't know what you're playing at, but I'm bored with it!" She walked out into the open, giving both Petras the perfect opportunity to launch their attack as Lukas poured water on the fire.

The flint and steel was about to fall over the edge when the Ivors came to the rescue. And shouted about it in full view of Cassie, but they had good intentions.

"You're all dying now!"

"Uh, no thank you!"

Ivor threw it to Jesse, who struck it just as Cassie reached him, burning her mask and sending her flying over the edge, onto what remained of the platform above the endermites. She threw off the mask, coughing from the smoke, and threw it down below.

"Well, I bet you're real proud of yourselves. Look at me, stuck again, out of ender pearls!" True fury could be heard in her voice, just a slight hint of something else.

"And that's where she wanted us to end up."

"Trapped… in my own trap… Ha, of course, of course…"

"Well, at least you're still alive." Jesse reminded her. "That's more than TorqueDawg or Sparklez or Dan can say."

"You're right, of course you're right…"

We started to walk away, only for Cassie to call up.

"Wait, at least don't leave me here all alone! Give me my cat, my dear sweet Winslow? He's my best… my only friend. Please?"

After a moment of thought, Jesse picked up the cat and tossed him to her. He landed safely in her arms as she held him close, saying that they'd be together, forever.

"Wow, so she kept the real portal hidden down here all this time!"

"Unless this one is a trap too…" Ivor muttered, not being too trusting after all the tricks and traps.

"I don't know if even she'd be that paranoid."

"Only one way to find out!" The other Jesse pulled out his flint and steel. Meaning…

"Oh, that reminds me, where did my portal key go?" My Jesse asked.

I pulled it out and handed it to him. "Here you go."

"Thanks… Where did you even find this?"

I shrugged. "Found it somewhere and figured I'd grab it."

This time, the portal actually lit up properly.

"Good sign so far." Ivor noted.

"Yeah, no trick floors or anything." Petra actually looked, and no traps were in sight.

"Okay, sure, but who's going first?" Lukas asked.

"We're a team, we all go together." Jesse answered. Then added to the other Order, "That includes you guys as well."

"Ready?" The other Jesse asked. "One, two… three!"

The world began to fade as we all sprinted through the portal, finally glad to leave this place behind once and for all. I wondered though, briefly, if my Order would have to endure a similar adventure once we returned home.

"Adventure!"

Episode Six Complete.

Several thousand words later and we finally made it to the end of episode six.

Midnight: About time, but exactly how long were you working on this?

I'd say at least three hours. But oh well, time to get this out there.

Midnight: So are the mini portal adventures in the beginning of episode seven going to be here or in the Side Stories?

Most likely the Side Stories, either in between or after I finish writing the 'What if Midnight Had Amnesia' arc. But with all that out of the way, see you next time!
