Luke carries a large tray of coffee and takeout bags into the office as he looks down at his watch. He was about 20 minutes early than he needed to be in the parade room. They were doing final preparations before the start of the undercover operation. He glances around the room and notices that Gail and Chris are missing.

He walks into the parade room, where Jerry, Frank, Noelle, Donovan and Sam are already setting up the boards.

"Welcome back," Jerry says as he looks at him. "Did you pick up coffee?"

"I did," he says as he hands Jerry, Frank, and Noelle a coffee. He hands Donovan and Sam a bag of takeout along with a coffee.

"Thanks," the group says as they take a sip. Donovan, Sam and Luke move to sit at a desk as they open their bags.

"What do we know?" Luke says as he takes a bite of his burger.

"The Mermaid Lounge is currently closed to the public. It is a large space that doesn't offer a lot of places to hide," Noelle says as she points to the floor plan. "We won't be able to set up any extra surveillance."

"We also know Angel has outstanding warrants. He has also been a suspect in several homicides," Jerry says. He points to a rap sheet that sits next to a photo. "We are essentially running blind with limited info or prep time."

"Okay, but we need to bust these guys," Donovan says as he stands up. "We could take down a major pipeline, though there will be a fair amount of risk involved. I need to know that we all agree that we have weighed the risks and chosen to move forward."

The group nods their head in agreement.

"Okay," Frank says as he turns to the group. "Jerry, get the details down perfectly. Everybody else, time to get ready. Remember, no outside communication with anyone outside of your team. Communication lockdown in 25 minutes."

"Understood," the group says before Frank, Jerry, and Noelle leave the parade room.

"You get to tell him," Donovan says as he finishes his dinner and looks at both men.

"Let me guess. If anything happens, all our asses are on the line," Sam says as he turns to look at Luke.

"Exactly," Luke says as he finishes his dinner. "Please, no cowboy actions, please, because I don't want to explain to my family why you are in the hospital."

"As long as that goes for all," Sam says as they both turn to look at Donovan.

"It does," Donovan says as he looks at the other two.

There is silence in the room before a shrill ring goes off. Each of them pulls out their phone.

Luke smiles as he answers his phone. "Hey. I tried calling earlier, but I got voicemail."

"Sorry, I was putting Fay down, and my phone was in the living room."

"No problem," Luke says as he stands and tosses his trash out. "I wanted to check in and see how things were going."

"Things are good. She is perfect. She was cruising with her walker toy again, babbling away without a care in the world."

"And you? You looked off this morning," Luke says as he moves out of the parade room. "Looked like you wanted to be sick."

"I'm fine, simply tired. Over the last month or so, I think is catching up with me. I am probably going to crash after finishing a few chores."

"Better idea," Luke starts as he enters his office and closes the door. "Why don't you leave the chores? Instead, take a long relaxing bath, catch up on your TiVo shows, and I'll finish the chores when I get home."

"Or I could combine the ideas. Take a long relaxing bath and finish the laundry while I watch TV."

"That sounds like a decent plan," Luke says as he closes the blinds. He walks over to his drawer and pulls out a black long-sleeved shirt. "How did your appointment go?"

"Same old, same old. Lots of blood work and swabs, and they will call by Monday if I need to worry about anything."

"That's good. I am going out of range for the rest of the night."

"Anything I need to worry about?"

"Nope, though I am still waiting to hear from the realtor," Luke says as he loosens his tie. "I was hoping we would hear by now about the house."

"Sellers could need to sift through different offers. You said it yourself, the house was almost perfect, with an ideal location. It is a hot property."

"True," he says as he unbuttons his dress shirt. "I hope we will hear something soon, or I will have to have him look at alternate properties."

"Patience, my dear detective. Did you get anywhere on your case?"

"I got to hand it off," Luke says as he changes his shirt. "There was a task force; that has been looking into cases like mine. Your dad thought it might be a group of offenders."

"Make sense. When you talk to him, will you have him call me? Aunt Elaine asked if I could help coordinate Easter. He has been elusive."

"I will do so," he says as he looks at his watch. "I love to keep talking, but I got to go."

"I love you, be safe, and remind the other three."

"I love you more. I already warned your dad and Sam. Gail has been out on assignment, but I will keep an ear and eye out," Luke says before he hangs up. He opens his office and waves to Noelle, who is off to set up the SUV.

Luke sat in the passenger seat as he, Noelle and Donovan followed Sam and Andy.

"You know, you could have opted out," Donovan says as they keep a distance from Sam's car. "You had better things to do tonight."

"I didn't," Luke says as he watches the surroundings. "The case I handed off was my last active one. I have some paperwork and notes to go through, but I would have been waiting for a case to come in."

"I keep forgetting that homicide has been slow," Noelle says from the backseat. "Haven't you been taking on a few of Jerry's cases?"

"I have. He seems to get four to five cases a shift lately," Luke says as he turns to Donovan. "A lot of attempted homicides, but no actual ones."

Donovan laughs as he drives before saying, "you are the only cop I know that complains about downtime."

"No cases equal long shifts," Luke says. He notices a couple of cars parked along the street in front of the Mermaid lounge. "I like to stay busy."

"We know," Noelle and Donovan say as Sam pulls into a parking spot.

"Alpha one, we are in position," Donovan says as he turns off the engine.

The three wait for about four to five minutes. Andy and Sam exit the car and walk hand-in-hand to the mermaid lounge.

"Now we wait," Donovan says as the two disappear into the establishment before turning to look at Luke. "What was that about my daughter feeling under the weather?"

"What about you being evasive about Easter?" Luke says as he turns to look at him.

Noelle only grins as she looks at the two of them. She shakes her head before going back to looking out through the window.

Donovan gives him a look before pulling out his phone and typing in a reminder before turning back to him. "I will call one of them tomorrow," he says before focusing on Luke.

"She has looked a little green this morning," Luke says as he feels his phone buzz. He turns and looks at it before breaking out into a giant grin as he reads the email.

"Good news," Donovan asks as he looks at his face.

"Realtor, finally get back to you," Noelle says as she looks at him.

"Realtor," Donovan asks as he shifts his gaze between the two.

"Kay and I looked at a house on Larkin Ave last week, and we got it," Luke says as he puts his phone back in his pocket.

"The one near the South Kingsway," Noelle asks as she looks at him. "I saw pictures. The house is beautiful with an amazing neighbourhood."

"It is," Luke says as he smiles. "I fell in love from the first time I saw it. I thought Kay would be a harder sell, but she agreed it would be perfect."

"Congratulations, Mr. Homeowner," Noelle says with a grin.

"Why do I have a feeling that I am going to be roped into the moving process again," Donovan says as he looks at him.

Luke groans as he forgets all about moving. This causes the other passengers to break out into laughter.

"Laugh it up, but you two are forgetting this is moving with an 11-month-old," Luke says. He tries to think of the logistics of it all.

This stops both Noelle and Donovan from laughing as they think about it.

Before anything else can be said, they notice movement at the mermaid lounge.

They watch as Angel and Sam walk out of the establishment. They are watching as the two of them walk toward a red sedan. While crossing the back, Sam looks over at them and runs his hand along the back of his head.

"Is that a sign?" Noelle asks as she continues to watch.

"Yup," Donovan says as he watches. "The deal is still in play. Okay, where the hell are they going?"

"Where's McNally?" Luke asks as he looks back at the door.

"I don't know," Noelle says before picking up her radio. "Alpha 2, Alpha six, you need to follow the red sedan. Keep your distance. Okay, we need to go in now."

"No, no," Donovan says as he worries about his bust. "We have no sign. We have got no deal."

"What?" Noelle asks, outraged. "What, so we leave McNally in there, no backup? Luke?"

Luke pauses before saying, "Sam knows what he is doing. We gotta trust that."

"Okay," Donovan says, nodding. "Till the deal gets done, we sit tight."

"He's right," Noelle says as she pauses. "He trained her. If he thought she was in danger. He would have given us a sign."

"Exactly. We know how protective Sam can be," Donovan says as they sit and wait. "Have Maggie take Fay during the move."

"Now that might work," Luke says as he turns back to look at Donovan. "We could have this all figured out before the move-in date."

"What is the closing date?" Noelle asks as she continues to watch the front door.

"Looks like we can get the keys as early as next Thursday," Luke says as he turns his attention back to the assignment. "Meaning we should be all settled by Fay's birthday."

"Holy," Donovan says as he realizes they are already in the middle of April. "Is she already almost a year old?"

Noelle laughs. She recalls the conversation with Jerry about what Donovan said in Frank's office. "The rookies have been with us for ten months."

"Shit," Donovan says as he pulls back out his phone and makes a second reminder. "I am not apologizing to them."

"An acknowledgement of good work wouldn't hurt after we pull this off," Noelle hints as she watches.

"Fine," Donovan says as he focuses his attention on the door.

The three of them immediately notice Andy running out of the building. She runs straight towards them. The three of them immediately draw their weapons and get out of the car.

"You gotta stop Sam's car," she says screams as she runs towards them. "As soon as he gets to Bergen, he's made! They're gonna kill him!"

"Alpha 2, Alpha 6. 10-33. Officer in jeopardy," Noelle commands as they get back in the car. "Move it. Now!"

They race out of the parking lot and towards Sam's location.
