Chapter 19: As far as we know.

It didn't take long for the fighting to stop once Oko was defeated by Ichigo. The remaining reigai had no more fight in them as their leader was obsessed with destroying the Seireitei as a whole rather than simple subjugation. It went against their original core belief of defending and protecting the Seireitei. Oko somehow survived the attack Ichigo gave him and was quickly put in the Maggot's Nest for his crime of attempting to destroy the Seireitei. His zanpakuto was recovered slightly as just bits and pieces with no power left in it. Not many knew that Ichigo had taken the spirit within said zanpakuto until a little while later.

It took some time, but the Seireitei was being rebuilt slowly but surely. The number of casualties was surprisingly low for a battle of this magnitude as only a few seated and unseated officers were caught in the crossfire of the reigai battle. The number of injured was high and caused squad four to work harder than ever, and they even asked Orihime for assistance when needed.

The reigai were a complicated matter afterwards. Some wanted them to be destroyed as they would disrupt the order of the Soul society. Others thought differently as they saw the reigai as unwilling assets to a mad man. It was tough for the captains to come to a decision regarding the remaining reigai as the central 46 was still in disarray and that left the captains in charge for now. In the end, it was actually the reigai that suggested they be destroyed. There was much debate as the reigai explained that while they had no idea of Oko's true intentions, it was no excuse for what they involved themselves in. Good soul reapers died because of them, and they felt this was the best decision for the Seireitei. It took Kisuke and Mayuri along with Blue Mayuri to create a devise that would completely destroy the reigai, but it took some time to complete. During that time, the reigai mainly stuck to themselves as they knew what was about to happen soon. There were no complaints when the deed was done.

After the fight with Oko, Ichigo deactivated his Bankai once everything had settled down. To his surprise, he was in a standard soul reaper uniform with an assortment of different colored bracelets on both his right and left wrist and a familiar zanpakuto attached to his hip. Each bracelet was colored to each spirit within Ichigo's soul, and while he could no longer hear their voices or even see them in his inner world, he felt their presence, nonetheless. The only spirit within his inner world now was Sumitsukigasa. Said spirit was happy to be with Ichigo and even felt each of the other spirits like Ichigo could. While it took some time to convince the captains and everyone else that he would not go the same way as Oko with Sumitsukigasa, he was officially brought back as a substitute soul reaper on the grounds that he gets checked by Mayuri, Unohana and Kisuke to see just how he was able to take a zanpakuto spirit from others. Ichigo agreed without any hesitation. The results were inconclusive as neither the two scientists nor the doctor figured out why it was possible, and it was made even stranger that Ichigo could no longer take a zanpakuto spirit anymore. He could still summon each spirit and still had the knowledge and skills from each of their owners, but he no longer could take anymore. Kisuke hypothesized that since Ichigo used that incredibly powerful Bankai, it must have locked away the ability to take other spirits in. It was only a theory but the best thing they could think of.

Also, after the fight was over, all of Ichigo's girls that were there swarmed him in an embrace he would never forget. He then spent the rest of the day with them as they all had some catching up to do, and Ichigo had plenty of energy for them.

A few weeks later, Ichigo and his friends along with most of his girls left the soul society for the world of the living. They all went their separate ways after that as Uryu went to the hospital to learn from his father, Ryuken. Chad went to train with a new group he recently found called Xcution in order to get stronger. Kisuke stayed in his shop to continue with his day to day. Ichigo went home to rest while he also had Yoruichi, Halibel and Neliel essentially glued to him. Orihime would have also gone with, but she had to inform Tatsuki of everything. Rukia and Rangiku were still in the soul society to help rebuild thing there. Eventually Halibel had to leave for Hueco Mundo to attend to her duties as the Queen, but Neliel essentially stayed as she was given a gigai by Kisuke to live in the world of the living.

Nozomi, now completely free from both Kageroza and Oko, decided to live her life in soul society as a member of squad 13 with Rukia. The two had become good friends since her joining the squad. Kon would often visit her and the two became close.

Years after the reigai invasion, things were relatively peaceful for the orange haired substitute soul reaper. He finished high school and decided to become a writer much to everyone's surprise. He used his numerous adventures and actions as a template to write detailed and fantastical stories involving heroes, villains and monsters of all sorts. They took off all around Karakura Town and even most of Japan in a few months, and then all around the world in a few years. Ichigo was proud of himself for his accomplishments and never had any shortage of material with his duties as a substitute soul reaper.

Speaking of soul reapers, Ichigo married his girls at different locations. Since polygamy wasn't a thing in the human world but very common in the afterlife, Ichigo publicly married Tatsuki in the spring while later marrying his other girls in the soul society and Hueco Mundo. This had a dual effect as not had he married his girls, but with his marriage to Halibel, the Queen of Hueco Mundo, there was a treaty that was signed of non-aggression between the soul society and Hueco Mundo.

With all of that done, it of course didn't take long for our hero to grow a rather large family, much to his sister's joy of being aunts and his fathers over the top happiness.

The first to give birth was surprisingly Yoruichi as she gave birth to a boy with her skin tone and hair color but Ichigo's eyes. He was named Hoshi after the bright stars in sky on his birth.

Next was Orihime as she also gave birth to a boy with orange hair and eyes. He was named Sora after Orihime's brother.

After Orihime was Neliel who had a daughter. She had fair skin, aqua green hair like Neliel and brown eyes like Ichigo. She was given the name Misaki after Ichigo's late mother.

Next was Halibel who also had a daughter with her skin tone and Ichigo's hair color and eyes. Her name was Aiko.

Tatsuki was next when she had a boy with her hair color and eyes. He was given the name Michio.

Rukia was next. She gave birth to a boy with her hair but Ichigo's eyes and defining facial features. She named him Kaien after her mentor.

Last was Rangiku who actually wanted to hold off on having a child as it would, in her words, 'ruin her beautiful figure'. Ichigo and the others were able to convince her easily one night and nine months later she gave birth to twins. One a boy with orange hair and icy blue eyes she named Gin after her first love, and the other a girl orange hair and brown eyes named Ruri.

Ichigo loved all of his children and cherished them to this day. Of course, they would develop powers a few years later.

Michio and Sora developed their soul reaper powers fairly quickly, being able to summon their zanpakuto's at will, and even had a little Quincy power there for good measure.

Misaki and Aiko were easily able to achieve their Resurreccion forms in a fairly short time once they could summon their zanpakuto's. They didn't have mask fragments but rather were able to summon their own masks like vizard instead.

As for Hoshi, Kaien, Gin and Ruri, they were able to manifest and talk to their zanpakuto spirits quickly and were trained differently. Kaien by the Kuchiki clan and Byakuya personally. Hoshi by the Shihoin clan as well as their uncle Yushiro the current clan head and surprisingly enough Soi-Fon. Finally, Gin and Ruri were trained by Toshiro, Ukitake and Kyoraku as they both had two zanpakuto each.

Now, Ichigo was sitting on a porch in the Kuchiki manor as he watched the stars in the brilliant night sky. Today was a rather eventful day as Hoshi and Sora raced each other all over the Seireitei. It was close, but Hoshi won by a landslide victory. Now they were all in the Kuchiki manor simply having a large feast. Some of the Shihoin clan was there too as Hoshi was technically an heir same with Kaien.

"Dad." Ichigo turned from the sky to see Ruri and the rest of his kids walking over towards him.

"Hey. Got tired of the good food back there?" He joked.

"Actually, we were wondering if you had another story to tell us." Michio asked his father as they all sat around him. They enjoyed hearing his tales of his battles and life before they were born.

Ichigo chuckled a bit under his breath. "Alright. Let me tell ya'll the time I fought and beat Kenpachi when I was a teenager."

"Whoa!" Sora exclaimed with stars in his eyes. "You beat Mr. Kenpachi when you were a teenager dad?"

Ichigo scratched the back of head sheepishly as he knew Kenpachi loved to lightly spar with some of his kids every now and then.

"Yep. Wasn't easy by any means, but I was able to-" Ichigo stopped as he felt something foreign to him.

He looked round for a second, confusing his kids for a moment, until a brief flash caught everyone's attention. Ichigo stood up with his kids following suit. They stood behind their father as he summoned Sumitsukigasa to his side. The flash ended and a tear in reality with a bright white light and an orange edge appeared.

"Okay." Ichigo started as he got ready to see if someone came out. "This is new."

He was about to say more when he suddenly felt himself being pulled into the tear. He planted his foot to hold himself, but the force was too much and pulled him inside rather quickly. The tear disappeared before the kids could react.

"DAD!"

And that's the end of this story. Ichigo has all of his powers from it minus the spirits save for one, and he has kids with all of his girls. Now he is ready to join the others in the crossover. How will he respond to seeing different versions of himself and join in to face an evil the like he has never seen before? You'll have to wait and see in the crossover story.

I really hope everyone loved the way I ended this as I was heavily debating how I should do this. I thought maybe going beat by beat as it was happening then I thought an overview type style. It was really bothering me to decided so I went with overview style in the end. Hope ya'll like it. All the names for the kids aside from Sora, Kaien and Gin are all original names from me and a few common name sources for Japanese boys and girls. Lol.
