Hello everyone!
So I figured out that this story was one of my most popular and most review one I've ever written. And because people really wanted for a continuation, I decided to try and pick up where o left off! Hopefully, for the fans who are still here!
A few notes! My writing style may have changed compared to the first chapter in 2016.
Also, I guess you can consider this story not connected to any of the current dragon ball events, except that it is somewhere after Ressurection of Freiza. Think of this as a random event, with some creative liberties being taken. This being included that some characters may be out of character, but I try my best to keep accurate. It might take a while for me to get back into the fanfiction groove. But I hope you can all bear with me!
So that being said. I hope you guys enjoy!
The morning light would eventually roll over the land of vast green mountains. The first peaks of any brightness from the sun, filtering though the light mist of clouds that naturally form within Mount Paozu.
By instinct, Chichi would wake up at her usual time. Early enough so that she could prepare breakfast for both her youngest son and husband. But of course, not at the crack of Dawn. Even as she was proud to be called a hardworking mother, the woman very much liked the idea of sleeping in!
But as always. She never got much of a chance to have one of those kind of mornings. For it was either the looming thought of all the chores she had to complete for the day. Or there was always that kind of itch in her hands. The kind of itch that would always appear when she sees any kind of mess in the house.
Although this time. The woman actually woke up to the scent of food seeping into her bedroom. Something sweet. Definitely some kind of bake goods or some sorts. A hint of vanilla. Ah, must be coming down from the kitchen.
A faint smile graced her lips in her half-sleep. "That's nice..." Were the only thoughts that would surface, as her brain was slowly turning on for the day.
Silence for one second. Two seconds. Three. When suddenly, her large dark eyes immediately popped open.
...She wasn't the one cooking though.
Now, she was completely wide awake. By instinct, her arm stretched out across the mattress beside her. Goku wasn't there.
Oh God. Was she thinking of exactly what she thought was happening?
Traces of panic begin to set in. Now, she felt like she had to go downstairs immediately. After all, the last thing the woman wanted, was a hell of a mess in her kitchen.
Quickly getting up, she flung on a robe. Not being able to think of getting herself ready and proper for the day, she raced down the stairs. But all in the soft, yet quick manner of a former Martial Art's fighter.
The moment she turned the corner of the hallway and hung right in the kitchen door. Chi-Chi actually started to wonder if she might be still dreaming. In fact, the woman rubbed her eyes once for good measure, before continuing to stare in complete awe.
There, was the Spiky-haired, goof of a Saiyan. Standing by the stove, which clearly was not up in flames. Holding a plate of food, which clearly was not a charred Devil's meal either.
Of course there was no way she would doubt her husbands skills. There's no doubt he excelled in other talents. He will always be an amazingly strong and formidable force to be reckoned with.
But the formidable force to become a chef? Chi-Chi had to be realistic here!
"What did I wake up to..." we're her first words of the morning. Whispered in complete utter disbelief.
But even through her faint tone, Goku perked up immediately. Although to tell the truth, he had already known his wife was awake. Even at peace, Ki sensing was something that must always be active.
Turning his head to look back, there was the signature, open and genuine happy look.
"Heya, Chi! Morning!" He graced her with one of his toothy, innocent grins. Silently, Chi-Chi would take in The picture of him holding a plate of food in one hand, with the other raised up to greet her. It should have been a normal sight.
Until the woman would see him fumble the plate in his hand. Her heart almost stopped as she watched what could have been a potential scenario, featuring broken dishes. But the Saiyan steadied himself right away. A distinct "Phew!" Left his lips.
"Good...morning..." she blinked in return. Trying to find the words she needed to say.
"Did...Did you just cook breakfast?" Was the mother of all questions she needed to know first.
He simply nodded. "Yep!"
Chi-Chi would nod slowly. Still trying to process this all. Before moving on to the next question.
"When did you start cooking?" As she asked this, her gaze would flicker to the food he had made. There was a plate of simple pancakes her was holding. Quite a normal amount, surprisingly.
Throughout it all, her husband's demeanor didn't change much. Except, she could defect a hint of sheepishness in his tone.
"Well...I started three hours ago." He spoke, as the brought a finger to scratch the side of his cheek.
Ah. There was the catch. All that time, just for pancakes?
Well, she didn't complain this time. In fact, Chi-Chi felt like she would rather take her husband cooking at an exceedingly long time, over the chance of her kitchen being burned. Which now she realized, how it was as a miracle nothing serious has happened.
But her little moment of thoughts would be momentarily broken. For Goku's usual chirpy voice would call for her.
"Well! Food's ready! Hey, is Goten up yet? Could you check for me, Chi?"
It was literally too surreal, that Goku of all people seemed to be asking in such a manner. Was she crazy, or was he actually taking up some kind of...actual parental role?
"Ah...yes, of course. I'll go see if he's up!" From blinking out of surprise, the woman was quick to fall back into a more relaxed state. Her small smile coming back.
Because there was no denying, Chi-Chi couldn't help the absolute thumping in her chest. Her heart letting her know, that it was definitely there of course. And it was feeling so, so much love!
"Oh, right! I made enough for the rest of me too! You can try and find them, but I got in touch of them with my powers. I think those guys can sense when there's great food for miles!"
The male would let out a good laugh. "But if you run into them, that will awesome!"
With her energetic youngest boy now awake and already down in the kitchen. Chi-Chi thought it would be nice to wait by the door of the house, to greet the rest of the other...clones? No, too unnatural-sounding. Gokus, right?
That was definitely something she needed to get used to!
For one factor, she was actually concerned if there was enough food for everyone. She was expecting the rest of the Goku clones to show up in the kitchen.
Who would think that literal, musclebound alien beings cramped into a homey little household, was a little bit over the top to be worried about?
But what awaited her next, surprised her a little.
The first Goku she saw arrive, was the Crimson-furred one. Her eyes literally widened in surprise, as she saw him carrying some kind of woven sack over his shoulders.
"Huh? What's that you're carrying?" Her incredulous tone, matched her expression of surprise. She was still left in awe, even when the Super Saiyan 4 form gave her a proud grin. It was almost a surreal contrast. A majestic being, smiling like a genuinely proud young child.
"I picked fruits! I was gonna save them for snacks, but I can just pick more for myself later!" He proclaimed, as he took one step inside the house.
The woman was literally about to open her mouth to remind him of the rules she had set. Although suddenly, the crimson furred being seemed to blink in realization. All before, he would power himself down.
And this, just left Chi-Chi as stunned as a gaping-mouthed goldfish!
Not long after that, In came each different Saiyan, one by one. Saiyan 1 brought in the most normal-looking bags of groceries Chi-Chi has ever seen. Saiyan 2 brought in some larger-than life turnips, plucked from the family's Turnip farm.
Saiyan 3 looked like he went hunting, with the amounts of Meat Drumsticks he brought. And lastly, Red God and Blue both came in at the same time with other delicacies, which Chi-Chi still wondered where the hell they've managed to find all of this.
"Whoa there! Hold on, we're not eating ALL of that for breakfast, are we?"
A blink from all six of them in unison. Which Saiyan 2 Would speak up first.
"Nope! We just wanna get everything, so we have enough food for Lunch and Dinner!" A simple, matter-as-factly statement.
"Oh! I mean, it's fine...Bulma did give us some extra capsules containing a lot of food already..." Chi-Chi reminded herself. But this seemed to make the Saiyans smile even more.
"Haha, really?!" Goku would pipe up from the kitchen. "Well, more food for us! You might not have to worry about food for a while, Chi!"
Chi-Chi didn't know how many times she would be surprised in a day. She felt as if Goku somewhat...had changed. And that change, seemed to have taken influence over the rest of his Saiyan forms.
Since when was he this considerate? Not that he wasn't ignorant. But the man usually had a one track mind! He usually couldn't blame him.
"Haha! This is gonna be great! Hey, c'mon Chi! Let's eat!"
the happy-go-lucky voice of her husband had brought her out of her train of thought once again. For the first time in her life, she couldn't believe how Goku was the one taking the first step into House duties. And here? She was dumbfounded!
"Oh...Okay..." she began with a mutter. But then, a quick shake of her head to 'wake' herself up.
"Alright! I'll be there!" She called out in response. Now that everyone was all together in the same room, there was only one thing left to do now.
Time to lay down some rules. A discussion was surely needed to help keep everyone, and possibly her sanity in check for the time being.
Oh Kami help her, that this will all go right...
Sorry that this one is a little shorter than the other chapters!
While I do have a little plan ahead of me, I am actually still deciding fully on what shenanigans I should include. I usually try not to ask this. But I am trying to get back my writing groove.
So, if it's alright with you guys. If you have any suggestions or ideas, feel free to send me a DM!
