UA's Saiyan Heroes
"Tell me Whis." Beerus yawned, as he watched Overhaul fruitlessly attempting to skewer the green hulking Saiyan Monster that was coming after him. "Is that really the same lad we met sixteen years ago before Planet Vegeta's destruction?"
"It is indeed my Lord." Whis said, equally amused as to what he was seeing. "Interestingly enough, not long after our departure, he fought King Vegeta in a Trial of Combat, and won."
"Did he now? If I had known that, I would have called off Frieza's destruction of the planet." Beerus said, before looking at Togata. "An' who might you be lad?"
"Uh, I'm Mirio Togata sir." He said, getting to his feet, Eri still in his arms.
"An' what is that strange creature you're holding?" The Destroyer asked. "Doesn't look very appetizing to me."
"It's not a strange creature." Togata stated. "Her name's Eri."
"Did you say Eri? As in King Kaen's daughter?" Whis asked, speaking up.
"That's right, he did mention having a daughter didn't he?" Beerus said. "Did he mate with a creature of some kind?"
"She looks nothing like she did in the photo Kaen showed me." Whis pointed out.
"The entire point of today, was to save Eri from the Yakuza group, known as the Shie Hassaikai. However, we waited too long and now… she's like this because I failed to rescue her that day, and was put through horrendous experiments that turned her into this." Togata explained.
"So she's not like that because she was born that way, nor by choice?" Beerus asked.
"That's correct sir." Togata said.
"Whis…" Beerus began, turning back to the fight, showing Kaen held Overhaul in his clutches, with the man struggling to break free, his Quirk not working on the Saiyan. "Must we intervene and save this human? He showed such disrespect to a King, I cannot abide it."
"I'm afraid we must. Chronoa said that Chisaki is imperative to the timeline's stability so he cannot die here." Whis said.
"Very well." Beerus said, before vanishing from sight.
"Get your damn hands off me, you monkey bastard." Overhaul growled, struggling in vein as Kaen began crushing him.
"Kill him, Overhaul must die. Make him pay for what he did to Eri." Each of the skulls on either side of Kaen's head stated, each of them sounding like Wukong.
"Pardon the intrusion." Beerus said, appearing between Kaen and Overhaul. "But I'm afraid this is where you must stop." Chopping one of the ethereal arms holding Overhaul, Beerus grabbed the falling Yakuza leader, and vanished from sight, before reappearing next to his angel attendant. "Now Whis." He stated, dropping the man to the ground with a rather loud thud. "Take care of this, before I lose my patience and kill this vile creature myself."
"You're talking about that Saiyan monster, right?" Overhaul questioned.
"No, I'm looking right at the creature I'm talking about." Beerus growled, looking the villain right in the eye, as Whis went charging at Kaen, with the Saiyan charging right at them.
"Ah-ah-ah, now what would the Master of Nekoya say if he saw you like this Kaen?" Whis asked, tapping his staff to Kaen's forehead.
Coursing his power through the Saiyan, Whis caused the green beast to freeze in the air, before he hit him in several pressure points, and then whacked him in the head with his staff, knocking Kaen to the ground, and dispersing most of the power within him, reverting his body mostly back to normal. His size had returned to what it normally was, but he still had the Ashura aesthetics with the extra arms, and the two skulls, going on for him, as well as the three tails swaying from his backside.
"Ah, damn what the hell happened?" Kaen questioned, as he groaned, picking himself up in pain.
"You lost control of yourself, and turned into a raging monster capable of destroying the milky way within seconds." Whis said. "Do you not remember?"
"All I really remember is… Overhaul and what he was saying about Eri's current condition being my fault. An' then I just lost it." Kaen said. "Oh man, I ate a literal handful of Primal Rage candies."
"Candies?"
"Special ones that my sister made. They're sorta like power amplifiers, a last resort type thing, but they only work on Saiyans, and the amplification it give us, are only temporary boosts in power." Kaen explained.
"Well, if you've still got all that power flowing through you, then I suggest you put it to good use." Whis said, side stepping as to avoid an oncoming attack from Overhaul. "Chisaki is still after Eri. An' since Lord Beerus and I have done our part, we are in no way obligated to aid you even further. Though I do think you look good with green hair. It suits you quite well."
"Green hair?" Kaen asked, sidestepping the attack as well. "I'll ask you about that later, right now. Chisaki is going to go down."
"Rikiya, Shin." Overhaul called to two of his bullets.
The large man came lumbering away from the heroes, and grabbed the discarded Shin as he made his way to Overhaul.
"Yes Master Overhaul?" Rikiya asked.
"I'm needing the two of you, right now." Overhaul said, putting his hands on both of them, before both were destroyed, with their matter swirling around him like a swarm of locusts. "You've both served the cause well. An' now we shall finish what we started, and cleanse this world, one way or another. As the saying goes, it takes a monster, to kill a monster."
"Chisaki you bastard, those were your own men." Togata said, coming back to Whis and Beerus's sides.
"What is he doing now?" Beerus questioned.
"It would appear, he's using the mass from his two subordinates to make himself stronger." Whis said, before noticing something in Togata's hand. "Young man, what's that red armband you have?"
"It fell out of Kaen's pouch when he pulled out the Primal Rage candies he ate." Togata said, watching as Kaen stood his ground, in front of the shifting and changing Overhaul.
"Might I see it?" Whis asked, holding his hand out.
"Alright Overhaul." Kaen growled, cracking his neck. "You wanted the beast. You got it."
Charging right at the monsterized Overhaul, Kaen vanished in a flash of light, and using the strength of Saiyan's Wrath, he was under his enemy and with an upward kick, sent the giant of a beast into the air, away from any of the buildings in the civilian neighborhood.
"Give Eri back to me, and return to her what you stole, so that I can cure this world, of the disease known as Quirks and Heroes." Chisaki growled, thrusting one of his enlarged arms at Kaen, only for the Saiyan to take the brunt of the attack, without even flinching or moving. "What?"
"By using Shock Absorption, I can reroute the kinetic energy from your punches, and send them right back at you, tenfold." Kaen stated, his fist slamming into Overhaul's arm, causing him to cry out in agony as it shattered to pieces.
"No, I won't let you undo all my hard work. I will make the old man's dream come true." Overhaul said, reconstructing his limbs and charging at Kaen.
"That's the thing Chisaki." Kaen said, no longer referring to his opponent by his Quirk. "He didn't want this. He would rather have died, then let you turn his own granddaughter's body, into a weapon that could tear down society."
"You know nothing of what the old man wanted." Chisaki shouted.
"But I do." Kaen said, appearing over Chisaki's head and hitting him with an axe kick that sent him back to the ground bellow.
"No. How could you know anything? I destroyed part of his brain to keep him in a coma, until I could fulfill his dream. Then he'd see how wrong he was when he awoke, and he'd thank me for everything I did to put the Yakuza back on top." Chisaki said, as Kaen landed on the ground in front of him.
"I know that's not what he would have wanted." Kaen said, hitting Chisaki with a right hook. "Because I was in his head." He exclaimed, hitting Chisaki with a left jab. "Using my Ki, I connected with his mind, and I told him everything." He stated, hitting Chisaki relentlessly, getting faster and faster with his strikes, as they became a blur, leaving Chisaki no time to counter. "I told him everything you'd been doing, everything you had done with the Yakuza, and everything that happened to Eri since I rescued her. An' you know what he told me after I finished telling him everything?" The Saiyan questioned, jumping up and flipping forward to hit Chisaki in the shoulder, sending him down to the ground with a heavy forward flip kick. "He told me, he wishes he never found you on the streets that day, all those years ago."
Landing on the ground, Kaen was breathing heavily as he felt the effects of all the Primal Rage wearing off as steam began emitting from his body in heavy waves, as the Ashura aesthetics wore off, with the only thing to remain of the transformation, were the two extra tails, accompanying the original.
"You could cook some steamed pork buns with the heat he's giving off." Beerus said.
"Thought I doubt they'd taste very good being cooked in that, my Lord." Whis said. "It is coming straight from his body."
"It's over Chisaki. You lost." Kaen said, turning his back to him, barely having the energy to stand at this point as he wobbled on shaky legs. "You're under arrest for multiple counts of murder, kidnapping, child abuse, child endangerment, and illegal drug development and trafficking."
"No… it's not… over." Chisaki groaned, putting his hand on the ground and destroying it. Sending the gravel flying at Kaen, Chisaki had it take the form of a spear as it neared his target.
"Kaen look out." Nighteye called out, pushing him out of the way, resulting in the spearing skewering him through, instead of Kaen.
"Sasaki." Kaen cried from where he landed on the ground.
"Oops, looks like I missed my target." Chisaki said, getting back to his feet. "Oh well, at least it's one more target of infection taken care of."
"Sasaki no." Kaen groaned, dragging himself along the ground, towards Sasaki. "Why, why do this for me?"
"Because what I saw for you… already came to pass." Nighteye said. "But I hadn't… seen past it, until now. You were… meant to become that thing we saw, but I stopped because I was scared of what I… might see next. But now I see… you're not meant to destroy this world, you're meant… to save it."
"No, stay with me. Stay awake, Uncle Sasaki." Kaen cried out, his ears perking up when he heard the clanging of a canister, as it fell out of his pocket. "The Apex Primal. I thought I gave my canister to Kirishima."
"It won't save you now." Chisaki said. "You're both dead. Accept your defeat, with what little dignity you have left."
"No. I'm not done." Kaen said, grabbing the canister. "I still have one trump card, and it's one you personally handed me."
"No." Chisaki said, as Kaen injected himself with the Apex Primal.
"Tucker said… this stuff brings out one's inner beast." Kaen groaned, as his body began to pulse. "Well, I'm about to bring out my inner beast, and you're not gonna like it. I feel this transformation deserves an appropriate chant, don't you?" He smirked insanely, as he powered through the pain. "Change, change oh form of man. Release the might of fleshy mile, boil the blood in heart of fire. Gone, gone the form of man, arise the demon, Primal Saiyan." Kaen cried out, as a wall of flames rose and encircled around his body, rising into a pillar.
Crying out in pain from within the ring of fire, Kaen was on his knees, before flipping over onto his back, and slammed his fists into the asphalt bellow him, causing the ground to crack, and spiderweb out, getting deeper and deeper with each impact, before his body pulsed again, and his muscle mass began to grow once more, tearing to shreds what remained of the suit Chisaki had custom ordered him, as crimson red fur began to grow on his arms, stopping right at the base of the back of the hands, with the skin on his pectorals and abdomen remaining untouched. The shadow trim around the eyes grew and covered the eyelids like eyeshadow, with the amber irises glowing with golden power. Getting to his feet, Kaen took in a deep breath, and let it out in a burst of flames that traveled back and enveloped his head, with the silhouette of his face visible through the flames, with gauntlets of fire igniting on the backs of his forearms at the base of his wrists, and a rope of fire, clearly traveling down his spine, to the ends of his tails. His body grew considerably larger in height and muscle mass, which could be clearly seen through the fur that covered his arms and torso. There were certain areas of fur along his arms, tails, and the sides of his torso, that held a dark shade of midnight black, making it look like the stripes of a red furred tiger, with several stripes traveling across his pectorals and abs, like charcoal burn marks.
"The drug took root, and evolved. It mutated further then Tucker could have anticipated." Chisaki said, stepping back out of survival instinct. "No, with all that Primal Rage, and the drug mixed in, his body was forced to adapt in order to survive, and his Quirk genes being forced to mutate in such a way was the outcome of that. Is there no limit to his survival instincts?"
(Cue Music… Enemy: Imagine Dragons)
Before Chisaki could ponder more on what was going on with Kaen, the Saiyan was instantly in his face, and with widened eyes, the Yakuza Villain could do nothing to evade his fate, as Kaen beat him to the ground.
Each punch Kaen threw, sent a tremor through the ground, and caused a crater to form under Chisaki. There was no telling when this was gonna end, as Kaen jumped out of the crater his attacks made, and flew high into the air before coming back down.
With all the strength he could muster, Chisaki used his Quirk on the ground, and sent spears of stone at Kaen, trying to skewer Kaen from multiple angles. Unfortunately, the spears didn't seem to work, as Kaen leapt and bound from each of them, like a parkour master, and even destroyed one, using Chisaki's own Quirk.
Finding this tactic wasn't gonna work for him, Chisaki quickly pulled himself free of the crater, and onto the ground outside it, quickly turning the bedrock he'd been in, into a pit of lethal spikes.
Kaen, in his primal state, didn't even attempt to avoid it, as he slammed right into the pit, and caused the ground to quake, as a cloud of dust was built up.
"Oh dear." Whis said. "It seems like he's quite lost it this time."
Chisaki smirked under his mask, before his eyes widened when Kaen leapt out of the crater of spikes, and was back on his feet, his body covered in metal, before he ran at Chisaki, and like a wild animal, ran all over his body, tearing at the flesh and bone.
"Get off of me, you damned primate." Chisaki growled, grabbing Kaen and throwing him to the ground, and sending him tumbling. "Why won't my Quirk work on you? I know what the human body is comprised of, so why won't it work?"
"That's your problem right there ya bastard." Beerus glared. "You know what the human body is made of. But the King you fight right now, is not human. He's a Saiyan. Their bodies are comprised mostly of the same stuff, but with a few more ingredients to their body, making their biology slightly different from yours."
"Damn it." Chisaki glowered, slamming his hands on the ground, and sending more lethal spikes at Kaen.
The Saiyan, back on his feet, vanished from Chisaki's sights momentarily, before he was back in front of him, and grabbed his arm, before dislocating the elbow over his shoulder.
"You little freak. I am gonna kill you." Chisaki growled, slamming his good arm on the ground and creating a spike of stone, that pierced Kaen's body from behind, and ran him through.
Smirking, thinking that he'd won, Chisaki was taken aback when Kaen destroyed the spike and pulled it free from his body, before he stabbed Chisaki with the stone spike in the arm, and sent it in deep, before it went clean through from the force of the punch. Stepping back away from the raging monster, Chisaki used his Quirk to fix and strengthen his arm, before charging at Kaen once more.
"What the hell, is it gonna take to kill you?" Chisaki questioned, bringing his fist down and slamming it on Kaen, only for the Saiyan to grab the falling fist, and push it up over his head, his Quirk coursing through him. "I will have Eri back, and her Rewind power will be what saves this world from the disease known as Quirks and Heroes, no matter the cost. I don't care if it kills her, I will see the old mans dream through."
"He shouldn't have done that." Whis said.
"Indeed." Beerus added.
"What do you mean?" Togata asked.
"Kaen, might have gone feral, but a part of him was still in there, keeping the beast from going wild, and actually killing Chisaki." Whis said. "But now, with what he said…"
"Chisaki's signed his own death warrant." Beerus finished.
Kaen growled, and the fire blazing on his body grew in size as he roared in rage, and went from a burning red, to a brilliant blaze of blue. Changing his grip, Kaen grabbed Chisaki's arm, and began pulling on the villain, causing Chisaki to forcefully follow the direction Kaen was turning towards, until his feet left the ground, as the speed began to pick up, and he was thrown into the air.
Remaining on the ground, Kaen took a widened stance, with his hands at his right hip.
"Kame-hame-HAAAAA." He cried out, his voice a deep, feral and guttural reverberation, as the Ki attack, which had once been blue, now a crimson red, was fired off and hit Chisaki, enveloping him as he cried out in immense pain.
(End Song…)
As the attack died down, Chisaki could be see falling from the sky, until he landed on the ground, caving it in with the impact, and falling unconscious. The fact that he was down, didn't seem to be of concern for Kaen as he jumped on Chisaki, and continued to batter and beat him to a bloody mess, with the intent to kill him. But, as fate would have it, Beerus and Whis stepped in, with Beerus kicking Kaen away from Chisaki.
"That's enough Young King, I understand your anger, and the rage you feel towards this villain." Beerus said, as he easily dodged the attacks that were being thrown at him. "Strange, his survival instincts aren't keeping him away from me. Quite curious, and fascinating at the same time. I'm also curious about that chant you spoke when you began to transform."
Kaen thrust his arms out towards Beerus once more, before Whis got between them and Kaen was taken into the crystal sphere on the angels staff.
"Just stay in there, I'll let you out once you've calmed down." Whis said, before looking down at the villain defeated villain. "Now that just won't do, it won't do at all."
"Do you think there's enough time for a Do Over?" Beerus asked.
"I'm afraid not My Lord. However, that doesn't mean I can't heal his body back to a somewhat more manageable state." Whis said with a mischievous smile.
Waving his staff over the fallen villain, Chisaki was back to normal, with a breathing and unconscious Rikiya and Shin by his side.
"There, that's much better. He's back to being just one person, all the while powerless at the same time."
"I take it that means you destroyed his Quirk Genes completely?" Beerus asked.
"I did indeed My Lord. Kai Chisaki is now, and will forever be, Quirkless." Whis smiled, as they returned to Togata's side, as he put the armband on. "Are you sure you wanna use this?"
"You said it's a version of Eri's Rewind Quirk, that'll set anything back to a certain state with all their recent memories intact so long as the picture of what the target looked like, is clear in the user's mind, right?"
"Yes, but it'll come at the cost of your power. Meaning if you use that, you'll be Quirkless." Whis said.
"I don't care. I have to fix this." Togata said.
"I could simply do it for you, spare you the trouble of doing such a thing and sacrificing your power to return Eri to normal." Whis said.
"No. This is my burden, my cross to bear." Togata said, clasping the armband firmly on. "I have to be the one to do it."
"Very well." Whis sighed.
"Very admirable of you, to give up your power, in order to fix a mistake you made." Beerus said. "You have my respect Mortal."
Holding his hand over Eri, Togata envisioned what she looked like, both from photo's shown of her, and from when they met that day a month ago. Without any hesitation, the palm of his hand began to light up, as did Eri's body. Slowly, but surely, as her body was enveloped in a vision of light, Togata returned Eri to her normal self, undoing the damage that Tucker had done to her, while at the same time, he could feel his power draining away as Eri was brought back to her old self. But he didn't care, because what really mattered to him, was making sure, she was saved, no matter the cost it came at.
"An' that just about does it." Whis said, as Eri returned to normal.
Putting his hand down, Togata opened his eyes, and smiled as he saw Eri, lying there as she was when he first met her. Surprisingly, there was a white tiger cub, a snake, and a toddler gorilla surrounding her. Eri opened her eyes, and gasped when she saw that she was back to normal, and even looked at the animals around her.
"Eri, you doing okay?" Togata asked.
"I think so." Eri said. "Where's Papa? He was just here."
"Let him out Whis." Beerus said.
"But Lord Beerus, I don't think…"
"It's fine." Beerus said, as Chisaki and the others were hauled away. "I believe we won't have anything to worry about once he's out, and sees Eri."
"Of course my Lord." Whis said, raising his staff and letting the feral Kaen out of it.
Eri gasped when she saw what had become of her Papa. She hadn't expected him to take on such a savage form. Turning around as he sniffed around the air, Kaen spotted Eri and ran at her. Closing her eyes in fear, Eri braced herself for pain, but it never came. When she opened her eyes again, she found Kaen sitting behind her, with his arms and legs wrapped around her like a hug, and cooed like an actual monkey as he held Eri close and nuzzled her, his breathing and rage simmering out as he continued to hold her in his arms.
"Papa?" Eri asked.
"The fire's not burning her." Togata said in shock.
"Look at that. He's such a devoted father, he'd never hurt her, even in such a feral state." Whis smiled.
"Speaking of which. Take a look at that." Beerus said, pointing at the glowing center of Kaen's chest. "I thought I felt a familiar energy coming from him. So he managed to solve Wukong's riddle, and take his power for himself. Not bad kid, not bad. Explains the streak of red in his hair. Though this does beg the question, is he gonna be stuck like this permanently, or what? I can't really tell if it's a good thing or not."
"I don't think you'll have to worry about that." Whis said, noticing how veins of power were traveling, and pulsing towards the Wukong Gem.
Slowly, Kaen's body began returning to normal. The flames were doused with his head returning to normal, and his body shrank back to its normal size, to which Eri liked it and turned around to hug him.
"Papa." She cried silently, the tears flowing down her cheeks.
"Eri." Kaen groaned, opening his eyes. "It's so good, to have… you back." He said, before falling to the side, blood pooling out of the hole in his torso.
"Papa." Eri cried out, her concerned voice and face being the last things to register with Kaen, before he was taken by the darkness.
~Hospital Sometime Later~
"So, how is he doing?" Izumi asked, sitting in the hall with Kirishima, Athena, and Toshinori.
"Well… it's not looking good." Gine said. "His system had so violently mutated to adapt to the Primal Rage and Yakuza drug, that he couldn't physically keep up with it. He's catatonic at the moment, but there's no telling when he'll be able to come out of it."
"Is all that, really necessary to keep him alive?" Athena asked, looking into the window of Kaen's room, seeing him hooked to the breathing equipment and life support. "He looks as though he's being kept from dying with those alone."
"That's actually the case." Gine said. "Without those, Kaen would be dead right now."
"So he's on life support, huh?" Kirishima asked.
"Not that much different from how Nighteye is at the moment." Toshinori said. "Any word on his condition?"
"Unfortunately, I'm not his physician, so I can't tell you what's going on with him, even if I knew." Gine said. "All I know and can say is, it's worse then Kaen's condition."
"Which means he's not gonna make it." Toshinori sighed. "Can't you use the same Quirk you used on me, to fix him?"
"I can't." Gine said, moving the collar of her turtleneck, and showing she had one of Athena's Quirk Dampener Collars around it. "I was allowed to keep my job, so long as I follow the condition that I wear this Quirk Inhibitor, and never take it off while on shift. Whenever my shift starts or ends, there's someone with the key who'll take it off, or put it on."
"I'm regretting making those collars." Athena sighed. "What about Eri?"
"So far, all I could really find was most of what was wrong with her when Kaen first brought her home. She's malnourished, and dehydrated, but this time, she's completely immunocompromised. So she'll have to remain in the hospital until her immune system has strengthened enough to where she can leave. I'll see what I can do about getting them put in rooms next to one another. I don't think it would be a good idea for Eri to see Kaen in this state for hours on end." Gine explained.
"Pardon us."
Gine looked to the new voice, and froze when she saw Whis and Beerus standing there.
"L-Lord Beerus." Gine said, taking a knee.
"Please, this is a hospital, don't debase yourself in front of those you work so hard to protect." Beerus said.
"R-right my Lord." Gine said, getting back to her feet. "What can I do for you?"
"My Lord wished to come and pay his respects, to the Young King." Whis said.
"To be honest. I'm rather fond of this young man. An' I don't wish to see him die just yet." Beerus said, turning to look through the window. "Not that it would matter, as Whis could just bring him back like nothing ever happened."
"Pardon me for asking, but how did you know about what was going to happen today?" Izumi asked.
"Sixteen years ago, after we met this young man while he was still in the midst of the Temporal Causality loop, Lord Beerus and I were paid a visit, by someone known as the Supreme Kai of time." Whis began. "She gave us a warning. She said that in sixteen years, Kaen would lose control of himself, and try to kill a man named, Kai Chisaki. She told us that we were meant to intervene and stop his death, as he will play a vital role in the future. Of what that may pertain, we are uncertain, but we agreed, as even Lord Beerus, respects the laws of time."
"The power he wields. The green energy. It's that of the Legendary Super Saiyan." Beerus said, shocking Gine and Athena.
"But… the blonde transformation?" Gine asked.
"An ability all Saiyans possess. But the means to unlocking it were lost through time." Whis said.
"I knew it." Athena said. "I knew that's what it was."
"However." Beerus said. "This Legendary Energy isn't natural. It might have something to do, with having absorbed his brother in the womb, as he mentioned."
"Two souls that shared the same body for over a decade." Whis said. "His body became so used to that kind of power, he wound up becoming the living legend, in more ways then one."
"Do what you can, to heal him Doctor." Beerus said, turning to Gine. "Oh, and take that damned collar off."
"I can't." Gine said.
"Pardon me?" Beerus asked, sounding offended.
"I mean no disrespect sir it's just…"
"Ever since the truth about Saiyans became public world knowledge, she's been forced to wear this inhibitor to prevent her from using the Quirks she obtained with the Xerox copy Athena gave her." Toshinori said, stepping in to speak for Gine. "If she doesn't wear it, she'll lose her job, and most likely her medical license."
"I see." Beerus stated.
"I do believe that is blatant discrimination. You have every right to sue the Hospital Director for this transgression, and possibly open up your own practice." Whis said.
"I do have the Quirks to do it, and funding wouldn't be an issue either." Gine said. "But I can't, not while Kaen's on life support, and Eri's being taken care of."
"Well then, I don't see what's to stop us from doing something to help." Whis said.
"Don't you do it Whis." Beerus said. "As much as I'd like to help, the Zenkai Boost he'll obtain from this experience could make him strong enough to defeat Cooler, by the time he gets here."
"You know he's coming?" Kirishima asked.
"We passed by his forces on the way here. An' sad to say, unlike Frieza, or anyone else in their family, Cooler does hard core training on the regular." Whis said.
"Meaning each day he's getting stronger." Beerus said. "I understand Kaen defeated Frostita?"
"Mostly. It was an Asgardian who struck her with the killing blow, before Kaen cremated her body once it had been split in two." Gine said.
"An Asgardian you say? Remind me Whis, wasn't their home world destroyed by their own Prince's doing?" Beerus asked.
"It was, but as popularly believed amongst the Asgardians, Asgard is it's people, not a place." Whis said.
"Odin was an old bat, but he was a wise old bat nonetheless." Beerus smiled.
"Screw this." Kirishima said, hardening his hand and destroying Gine's collar.
"Young Kirishima, what are you doing?" Toshinori asked.
"Kaen is in trouble, and if he's catatonic and there's no telling when he'll wake up, then we need Mrs. Toshinori's power to heal him. For all we know if we leave him like this, Cooler could arrive and Kaen would still be on life support." Kirishima stated. "An' Whis is right, what this hospital is doing to force her into wearing that collar, is wrong. It's discrimination, plain and simple. I might not have been born a Saiyan, but I chose to become one, because I believe the powers of a Saiyan can do some real good in this world."
"Oh my, such a bold act of defiance towards the hospital." Whis said.
"Listen to the young Saiyan, mortal. He speaks rashly, but wisely as well." Beerus said.
"I understand how you feel but…"
"No, I'm with him on this one dad." Athena said, interrupting Toshinori.
"Oh, now it's turning into a family affair." Whis smiled.
"I might be contracted into making the collars for the police and government, but that contract heavily relies on the collars being used for non-discriminatory reasons. Forcing mom to wear one, clearly goes against the contract, and according to a clause in said contract, any money already paid to me, cannot and will not be refunded to the government, with any and all collars made will be returned for immediate destruction." Athena explained.
"Then the use of this collar on Gine, was a breech of contract." Beerus said, examining the broken collar that resided on the floor.
"So in other words, this hospital broke the contract you formed, with the government and will be in bigger trouble then just a law suit." Izumi said, piecing together what Athena was saying.
"Sounds good to me." Gine said. "I'll have Kaen back on his feet in no time."
~Afterwards~
"I don't care if it was the Goddamn Prime Minister's orders. You have no right to discriminate against my wife like that." Toshinori's voice rang out in Kaen's ears.
'What's going on?' Kaen questioned, as he was regaining consciousness.
"All Might please, we had the collar placed on her, because we didn't wanna risk an Akuma situation where she'd turn her patients into Saiyans without their consent." The familiar sounding voice of the hospital director said.
"That's blatant discrimination right there. You're lumping her in with Akuma, just because they're both Saiyans. An' I've got it all on video."
'Kirishima?' Kaen thought. 'He's here too?'
"I earned my medical license, and I am my sons physician." Gine's voice echoed in his ears, as he began to open his eyes. "If you think I was just gonna sit back, and let my son lay there comatose for the rest of his life, then you're crazy."
"You can bet your ass, that we'll be taking this matter to court." Toshinori said. "I can put up with a lot of things, but disrespecting my wife and my family, is not one of those things."
"Please, you have to understand. We just wanted to keep…"
"No. You understand this." Athena began, as Kaen slowly turned his head to see the others there, arguing with the Hospital Director. "What you did, by forcing my mom to wear that collar, just because she's a Saiyan, broke my contract with the government. Your hospital, and you personally, are gonna have to answer for why I'm no longer making those collars for the police, which could have potentially saved thousands of innocent lives from Villain Attacks."
"Ridiculous. Those collars were made of highly advanced technology, no way a mere child could have made them." The Director said.
"She did make them." Toshinori stated. "I have a copy of the contract at my house to prove it."
"If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go treat my granddaughter now." Gine said marching past the Director.
"You're not going anywhere until a new collar is around your neck." The Director said sternly, grabbing her arm.
'Big mistake man.' Kaen thought as Toshinori, beefing up into All Might, grabbed the director's arm and forcefully removed his grip from Gine.
"Assault as well." All Might glared. "That tears it, Young Kirishima, call security."
"On it." Kirishima said, rushing out of the room.
"Never mess with a Saiyans mate." Beerus smiled. "Though I guess in this case, she's the Saiyan in the relationship."
"The phrase still applies My Lord, just a bit differently as the director decided to test All Might's patience and nerves."
"Shouldn't have grabbed my mom's arm." Kaen said, as security took the Director away.
"Kaen." Athena gasped, she and Izumi running to his side, as he slowly began to sit up. "Are you okay?"
"Welcome back young King." Beerus said coming up to the bed. "How are you feeling?"
"Lord Beerus." Kaen gasped, falling back on the hospital bed, and landing on the ground. "Ow."
"My, that's quite the reaction." Whis giggled. "Tell us Kaen, are you feeling alright, do you remember anything from after you injected yourself with that drug?"
"I'll be fine. Just a little sore, and in pain." Kaen said, getting back up on the bed. "As for what I can remember… All I can recall is the chant, and then nothing."
"Ah yes, speaking of. Where did that chant come from may I ask?" Whis asked. "It sounded similar to a demon summoning rituals chant."
"To be honest, it came from a show called Young Justice. A show based on a comic book series, and that chant was to bring forth the fictional demon Etrigan." Kaen said. "But I changed Etrigan, to Primal Saiyan."
"I can see why you'd choose it though. That chant is rather catchy." Whis smiled as he turned and began to leave. "Pardon me for a moment."
"Where's Eri?" Kaen asked, looking around the room.
"In the other room." Izumi said.
"What about Nighteye?"
"He…" Toshinori paused, as he looked away. "When your mother started treatment on you, I went down to see how he was doing. He was in bad shape, and he wasn't gonna make it." He sighed. "I know you and him had your differences but…"
"He sacrificed his life to save mine." Kaen said. "Sasaki saved my life, keeping Chisaki from killing me. Though I guess that didn't really work out as he had planned, huh." He stated, raising his gown to show the scar on the side of his torso. "I'm assuming there's a matching one on the back?"
"There is." Izumi said. "You remember the wound?"
"I remember feeling an intense pain in my abdomen after blacking out, but that's it." Kaen sighed. "So, Sasaki is gone huh?"
"Gone, but not forgotten." Gine said.
"It's strange." Kaen said, his voice cracking. "He and I never got along with each other, not once; and yet I can't help feeling, like I've just lost someone I care for." He stated, tears falling down his face.
"Papa?"
Kaen's head lifted, when he saw Eri in the doorway, sitting in Whis's arms.
"Eri." Kaen said.
"I took the liberty of destroying any and all ailments that put the young Miss in her weakened state." Whis said, coming in and putting Eri on Kaen's bed.
"Oh Eri." Kaen cried, hugging her as tears streamed down his face even harder. "I am so sorry. I should have come after you sooner. I should have saved you from Chisaki. I…"
"Papa." Eri said, hugging him back. "I knew you'd come for me, no matter what. I never gave up hope, and I wasn't alone. I had Kuro."
"Kuro?" Kaen asked.
"The White Tiger cub, that Tucker had used in his experiments with her." Izumi said. "After you passed out, the cub woke up and showed affection towards Eri, the kind a pet shows their owner, after being with them for several weeks. Eri even said that Kuro was her best friend for all the time she'd been there after Fujio had kidnapped her."
"Tucker did the same with Nina." Eri said. "He gave Nina a puppy, and when she grew a strong enough bond with it, he used them in his chimera experiment. Or so he said when he used his Quirk on me and Kuro."
"Where's Kuro now?" Kaen asked, looking at Toshinori.
"She's not here." Gine said.
"She's at a veterinary clinic, being checked out." Toshinori added. "Hopefully, she can be put in our custody, as Eri really seems to have a close bond with her."
"I certainly hope that happens." Beerus said. "But isn't anyone gonna address the elephant in the room?"
"What do you mean?" Kaen asked.
"Kaen… do you know the number of tails you currently have bro?" Kirishima asked.
"I just have the… one…" Kaen said, looking behind himself, only to freeze when he saw two extra tails had grown alongside the length of his original, while all three of them had a length of red fur along the vertebra. "Eh?"
"Catch him, catch him." Toshinori called out as Kaen fell back as he fainted.
"Oh dear. Seems his mind was still too stressed to handle the information, that he'd grown two extra tails." Whis chuckled.
"That seems about right." Beerus said. "Now, I'm feeling a bit hungry. Who's up for grabbing some grub? I'm intrigued as to what kind of foods this planet has to offer."
