CHAPTER 4.

It was good to get out of that tense room, Carrie took a few deep breaths to calm down, Black Canary said he would take her to the team and that she would stay with them until this mess was over. Carrie agreed for lack of an alternative, but she was glad she didn't have to be alone this long.

Dinah had to force herself to relax, the thought of undoing the team really crossed her mind before Carrie talked about how the ban helped cause the death of the second Robin in her world, so that was out of the question. More training would be good, would be great. She took another deep breath, releasing some of the tension, as they entered the mountain's living room, she promised herself to keep an eye out for their missions going forward.

"Team." She called to them, not surprised when they approached curiously.

Yeah, she promised herself to protect them if they needed it.

''This is Carrie. She will stay in the cave with you until this is all over. If she needs anything you will help her in any way you can and if she needs something call the league. I don't know about the missions yet, I'll talk to Batman about it later."

-When he's calmer- She thought and continued.

"Zatara doesn't seem to know the time frame for the next Robin to show up either, but you'll have to call us when he or she arrives, understood?"

They nodded and she looked at Carrie. "Call me if you need to, dear."

"Okay," she replied.

The cave was silent as Canary exited through the zeta tubes. Zatara, Batman and Superman left soon after but not before Bruce texted Dick.

(B- I'll explain to you later.

D- Okay.)

As soon as the adults left the mountain (not all of them, Red Tornado was somewhere on the mountain, but they didn't care) Kid Flash ran to her.

"Hi!" He smiled and held out his hand. ''The introductions have already been done, but I soum Wally, nice to meet you!''

She smiled at his enthusiasm, and wondered if he existed in her world.

"Pleasure." She returned his smile, his excitement being what she needed to get rid of the tension of minutes ago.

''I have so many questions! How long have you been Robin? Did you really come from 1977? What is it like to live there? Want to see our technology? How is your Batman? Where's the first Robin, you said you don't know him? Where is the rest of the league if everyone is banned from leaving?

"Let the girl breathe KF, even we can't understand you!" Robin interrupted, practically pulling his friend away.

"Carrie, isn't it?" The Martian approached with a smile. Megan was her name? Something like that probably.

"Yes!" She looked at Robin. "Thanks, I don't really know what he asked me so I think he'll have to repeat it."

"It's okay, even we don't understand him when he starts talking." Artemis smiled.

''Hey!''

"Bad Wally, but she's right." Megan floated over to the girl and took her arm. "Come sit with us, we were planning a movie night, and now that you're staying with us you can join."

They all sat on the sofas in front of the TV, it didn't take a genius to see that everyone was curious about this Robin.

"Is it really that different?" Robin asked first before the silence got awkward.

''Pretty much, I'm used to something huge and heavy and you guys have... that. Do you have flying cars too?" Carrie asks.

Artemis laughed. "No, we're not there yet."

"I'm working on it," Robin replied with a smile.

"When you get it created I want to be the first to test it." Kid Flash leaned towards his friend, who nodded.

They were silent for a while.

"So…I guess you guys have questions?" Carrie took her glasses off her head and held them nervously in her lap.

"Yes!" Kid Flash nearly jumped off the couch at that, but before he could say anything, Carrie added.

"At speed I can understand, please."

The team roared with laughter.

"I liked her." Artemis spoke through laughter. ''Can we have two Robins on the team?

"No way." Carrie let out a weak laugh. ''Maybe I'll find younger heroes in my world, or maybe come back to visit. Who knows.''

"I think two Robins on a team is a bit much," Superboy grumbled.

In eerie sync, Carrie and Dick turned to the clone and put their hands on their chests. ''What do you mean by that?

The team was silent for a moment.

"Dude…" Kid Flash was the first to speak. "That was scary, don't do it again."

Robin turned to Carrie and gave a small smile, which Carrie returned.

-I think... I'll like her.- Robin thought.
