After Harry had gotten back to sniffles there was a soft pop and Pastry was beside him. "This master Harry...was around lady Lilly's neck the night she died." She held out a silver chain with a pendant on it. The pendant was a silver knot woven into an intricate triangle, a pentacle in the center with a bright red ruby in it's center. Harry gently took the chain, his hands trembling. He could feel it warm to his touch and it almost felt as if hands touched over top his own. Hands he could faintly remember. Taking deep calming breaths to prevent his eyes from creating more tears, he placed the chain around his neck, the pendant touching his skin, and heat almost burned at its touch. Suddenly his body felt surrounded by warm familiarity. Momma loves you….daddy loves you. Her voice clear in his mind. He sat frozen for a moment as his mother's being surrounded him. Hermione had walked over and knelt in front of him, waiting. Not Harry, not Harry. He covered his ears but he could still hear his mother's voice. But then something changed. Her voice deepened and in an angry growl she chanted. His eyes widened as his mind flashed back in time. He saw his mother standing in front of his crib, the form that was Tom riddle was cloaked, eyes glowing red, wand raised. His mother began to chant louder and louder until she was shouting, the room began to glow brightly from all the runes hidden in the paint on the walls. His mother's hair began to stand on end waving in the power of the magic. And Tom actually looked worried. She shouted one final time and the runes flashed blindingly and his mother screamed. The form of Tom had been torn apart almost vaporizing in place. The roof had blown outwards and the wall had crumbled. His mother was panting, blood was dripping from her nose, which she wiped quickly, turning to her boy. Her skin deathly white. She was mumbling something he could not understand as she drew the rune with her blood on his forehead, it slicing as she did so. With her body trembling heavily, she managed to kiss the spot, giving her son one final smile, before she fell to the floor, dead.

Harry came out of it and touched his forehead, on his scar. He looked at Hermione who still kneeled at his feet and he gave her a teary smile. "I wish you could have seen what I just did mione. I've never seen something so powerful before." Hermione doubted that, she after all saw Harry create a patronus so powerful it made hundreds of dementors flee. "Master Harry sir, lord James had a pensieve in his office. You could use that." Pastry gently spoke looking at Harry with worry. "I don't know how to extract memories though." Pastry gave a small smile before gesturing to Hermione. "Library." Was all Hermione said and the two chuckled.

Before they could adventure to the library, Hershey had once again gotten their attention. "Now that you are lord Potter sir, there is much you need to do for you and your lady." "That was the other thing. How does that make me lady Potter?" Hershey gave her a cheeky smile, one that eerily matched Harry's. "When your souls touched, it bonded to the other. When that happens at least from what Master James said, the magic from them touching radiated all across the land. It writes your names in a book somewhere in the department of mysteries. It's hidden so well even Master James who asked to see it, couldn't because those who knew where it was no longer had that knowledge. But it bonds you both for life. Like marriage, it will be known to the goblins, the elves you own and those in charge of magical marriages in the ministry." Hermione went bright pink. Harry seemed to crest fall. "I'm sorry you're stuck with me hermione…" she turned to look at him. "Stuck?"

"Marriages aren't just a whim thing. I know we've known each other for years but we only just decided to see where this goes. Now you're married to me." He truly seemed down and full of guilt. He wasn't even the one to kiss her, she had kissed him first. "Harry… while yes it is a shock. I don't care. Do you have any idea how long I had a crush on you? Or how bad it hurt when you took Ron's side with the broom? Or that I saw the way you looked at me for the ball? How terrified I was when you tried to OUT-FLY a dragon? And I'm guessing that's when Ron intervened. He saw I was falling for you. That I had always liked you more." She touched his cheek, making him look at her. "Harry, a soul mate means we were supposed to find each other, that no matter what, the gods themselves feared our power together and separated us to find the other. Who knows how many lives we have tried to find each other or if we found each other in each one." Harry had no idea how deep this affected Hermione, or how much she actually believed in something she couldn't see or do herself. "So if the very gods tried to separate us and failed, what makes you think knowing I'm married to you will separate us now?" Harry couldn't answer, the fire in her eyes stopped him from saying anything more that could upset her. "You…you.. ugh! Daft boy!" She gave him a chaste kiss and sighed. "Harry you're my best friend, and now...my husband. I won't leave you if I can help it."

That morning they stayed in the library, Harry mostly hunting down books for Hermione. Said girl had three books open on the desk, scanning over text at a blinding pace, trying to find anything useful. Harry hadn't seen her this focused since owls and she"knew" for certain she was going to fail. So Harry did his best to find anything he could for her and let her do her thing. He also made sure she took a break and would not replace any books until she took some time to breathe. By the time Hermione closed her last book for the day she looked exhausted. She had notes piled beside her and the stack of "read" books in a stick beside the desk for easy re-reference. They had been silent most of the afternoon. Only the sounds of pages turning, the scratching of a quill and Hermiones muttering about what she needed to find. They had about an hour ago found the book for the memory charm that pulled memories out of someone's mind to be seen in a pensieve but Hermione then began to research for the horcruxes.

She currently was fighting sleep when they both heard the pop. Both looking in the direction of the little elf from the tent. "Toppy is here to ask permission." Hermione looked at Harry. "Permission for what?" "My mistress to come here." "Daphne wants to come here?" Hermione clarified. "Yes Miss. She has much to say. Her and miss Tracey wish to help in anyway they can. They says they will claim family business and be taken here. No one will question." Hermione gave Harry a look that he knew all too well. It was a look of uncertainty. He knew she was weighing all the options, outcomes good or bad. "Just them?" Toppy nodded. "When?" "As soon as tomorrow sir." Hermione sighed softly. "Harry we need help. I know Dumbledore said not to tell anyone. But why? If we trust the person why can't we get their help?" Harry scratched his chin, feeling the hairs that prickled there. "Alright Hermione. If they turn out to be tricking us we can do something I suppose. I don't know what, but something." Toppy gave them a soft bow. "I will let them know sir." With a pop she was gone again. "I hope we didn't just make a terrible mistake.

Bark shattered beside his head as he ran. Ron was panting as he ran, he had been running for a while now, how much he didn't know. The blood dripped from his hairline trying to blind him. He furiously wiped what he could out of his face. He could hear the snarling of the men who chased him. "Come on lads. He can't be too far by now. He must be kept alive." Ron held his breath best he could and slid to the ground, losing his balance and falling backwards into a tree root den of sorts. An animal must have dug the roots out. For now he was out of sight, he was safe. He heard the men walk by where he had just been. "Keep looking! Snape wants this one. Don't let him slip away!" He stayed put for a few more minutes, catching his breath. Waiting for the men to walk away. Harry…Hermione… I'm so sorry. He began to cry quietly. He had been trying to find them since he left. He had regretted leaving the second he apparated away. He tried to go back but could not make heads or tails of where he was. Once he found the clearing he recognized he tried to feel the wards but they were gone. He found the ash piles from their fire. It was then the snatchers had started sniffing around.he saw them and tried to slip away before being spotted, but his scent hit the wind and they started to chase after him. Buggering shite. I shouldn't have left. How am I supposed to find them now? They could be anywhere! He clenched his jaw and eyes. He had to think and think fast. Until an idea popped into his head. "Godric's hallow…. The sword… if I find the sword and wait at Godric's hallow…" he gave a panting smile to himself. He waited a few more moments before peeking out to make sure they were gone. He couldn't see anyone, hear anything shuffle or move. He slowly crawled back out from the tree and quickly turned on the spot.
