When Rua frowned it was normally in theatrics to a loss, but this was a different type of frown. His gaze was serious, giving him a slightly more mature expression in answer as he scanned the school yard as well. Their fellow students were milling about and making their way to their homes as was the norm. But because of the various heights it made looking about more difficult. There was no sign of YuseiGo or just Yusei on foot, and with the response Ruka got from the Mark...
"Should we just go home?" He finally asked looking at his twin. It was a nice day, no sign of rain and peaceful. Yet there was no Yusei... They were waiting while the rest of their group dispersed to go home and yet. No Yusei.
"I guess," Ruka finally answered disheartened before shouldering up her backpack.
The pair made their way off the school grounds when a series of voices suddenly called out "Wait! We're coming!"
It pulled Ruka up short as she looked around, her gaze lifting up to the sky that seemed to fill with fairies. The small fairies of Carly's deck were flying towards her while the larger frame of the Ancient Fairy Dragon materialized behind them.
"Kuurrriiii!" even Kuribon materialized beside Ruka purring her presence happily. While the Fairies seemed to realize they had company and rushed even faster towards her.
Yet despite all this, Carly by her yellow Beetle, like Rua; were left wondering why Ruka had just stopped walking. Not that Carly had been able to find, and thus get the attention of, the twins. Instead she watched as Ruka stopped stared at the empty sky with such surprise and concern. While being Ruka's twin got Rua to understand what was going on faster and worry even faster. Given who she could see and by logic who would directly visit her, the expression caused him to reach out and grab her hand. "Sis?"
Ruka grabbed his wrist, semi u-turned them and started running towards Carly, "excuse me could you do us a favor?" She called out as the twins joined up with the taller reporter.
"Well, Yusei asked me to bring you home cuz he's tied up at the moment..." Carly answered, 'I mean what's the worst a pair of kids can ask for a favor?' she wondered.
"Its a lot of information, it might be easier if I explain in your car," Ruka explained as she side eyed the yellow beetle.
"Huh, uh ok," Carly stammered a bit before turning back towards her car.
"Is everything ok?" Rua asked as he stuck to his sisters' side.
"No... nothing is ok. Ms. Carly's fairies are upset and Ancient Fairy has bad news too," Ruka answered with a tight voice as she tried to keep up appearances.
'She can see my fairies?!' Carly thought in a rush of excitement before she ran to her car and opened the door for the pair, "In."
The pair rushed over and piled into the backseat of the car before Carly shut the door on them and got behind the wheel. "Ok talk."
"Its kind of like a message with a follow up confirmation really," Ruka admitted as she watched the Fairies hovering anxiously around her. "Your Fairies say they did a reading for you and you got both extreme answers at the same time. Well here it is, Big Sister Aki was the Good fortune, Big Brother Yusei was the bad one. Ancient Fairy confirmed it though she didn't expect to..." Ruka answered as she began rubbing her eyes.
"Put the peddle to the metal Carly we need to goo!" Hikari fairly howled uselessly as she hovered among her fellow fairies.
"Someone managed to throw Big Brother Yusei's deck away, we need to get to his deck before someone finds it or it gets damaged beyond repair." Ruka instructed, "Ancient Fairy has gone back but Kuribon will be giving me instructions on how to get there."
"But Jack said..." Carly replied despite putting the key in the ignition, 'Why would he? Oh you big lug...'
"Yeah, I think they want us to stay out cuz we're kids. But I'm the only one left who can see the Spirits. Ancient Fairy said she dispatched Regulus and Honest to where the deck is, so I think Regulus will have more information when we arrive." Ruka explain as Kuribon floated to the front of the car with the other fairies. The ribbon bedecked tip of her tail turned up and began moving like the needle in a compass.
"Someone threw away Big Brothers' deck? Why? What's going on?" Rua asked, more out of a frustrated need to talk than expectation that he would get an answer. The twins had been in school and Carly had been about taking them 'home'. But it was pretty clear to him that they were being intentionally kept in the dark save for by the spirits.
"Jack asked for a reading. I guess its because he wanted to cheer her up after everything that happened to Aki. But Jack didn't give her direction so she was in conflict. She pulled two cards instead of one and couldn't tell what was what. But worst of all, Aki wasn't there to explain for us so she doesn't know anything," Chee explained as she went to sit on Ruka's knee.
"Oh..." Ruka replied looking down at the soft brown haired fairy. "Umm Ms. Carly your deck wants to talk to you."
"You can make them appear too?" Carly asked in swift excitement, glancing up into the rear view mirror. Only to catch the disappointed head shake of a pair of Ruka antenna.
"Not really, it takes a lot of power and my health won't allow for me to summon casually. If Big Sister Aki was here she could do it easily."

'This is terrible news. The dark times when Ancient Fairy were sealed have clearly left the school unprotected. I'm grateful that Little Ruka and her brother weren't attending school until Aki returned.' Regulus thought to himself as he sat next to Yusei's deck. He could see the YuseiGo directly across from him with Crow working away. But computers weren't the Spirits' forte and talking to his fellow Duel Spirits was only kind of informative.
They were able to explain that Crow, that was his name, was trying to figure out what happened to the D-Wheel. More over that it was 'Aki' who had used a card given her to stop the machine from moving forward.
That had been the most worrisome for the regal lion. Aki.
Black Rose and all of Aki's Garden had been missing, and now hearing that it was Aki... Hobbled with blinders and headset worried him greatly. Her garden didn't even try to manifest for Yusei's deck even if Yusei couldn't see them. Not even Witch of the Black Rose had appeared...
Though that got put to the side as every one of Yusei's mechanized Duel Spirits turned as one to face the left of him. Staring in silence before a large explosion was heard tearing through the air. Alarm brought the lion to his feet, as soft sounds of buzzing and clicks could be heard among the other spirits.
"What the hell?" in the distance Crow reacted to the explosion, revealing that it wasn't a spirit only explosion. Regulus watched as the redhead got up in alarm. Deftly Crow removed Yusei's riding duel deck from the duel disc before disengaging the disc itself from the YuseiGo. The riding deck was tucked securely into an inner pocket of Crow's vest before he tucked the disc under his arm and making YuseiGo inoperable to anyone else. He carried it to his own D-Wheel and stored it before the red head made ready to leave.
"I'll go with him. I might be able to help him somehow..." Honest called out before trailing after Crow as the redhead rode off.
Soon the pair were gone, heading 'towards' the explosion and leaving Regulus to dig his claws into the ground in a sense.
"Designate: Crow relocating to area of detonation. Hypothesis: Render Aid." Turret Warrior reported with the same stoicism that went with machines more often than not.
Sometimes talking to a computer based Duel Spirit was... interesting...
'They tossed Yusei's deck aside. How many plot threads are there going on? Yusei was clearly kidnapped, and not just kidnapped. But kidnapped with full knowledge of Duel Spirits and the importance of the decks. Bonded though they might be, Yusei will need his cards to duel and they're here. Little Ruka can't manifest us to bring the cards to him directly either, we'll have to go airborne and search the buildings. Locate the fastest path that she can take on her own.. An effort that will take time...' Though as that thought sat and gnawed in his nerves, Regulus found himself thinking back to Honest. How was he doing all this traveling without his partner or card exactly?
Honest wasn't a very powerful Spirit. Yet he was clearly bonded to someone and that bond was allowing him to go between Duel Spirit and Human worlds with impunity. While this alone was enough to rouse up Regulus' suspicion about the fairy... Honest seemed, well being honest about the information he was giving.
Evening was approaching them slowly, slowly tinting the sky in its evening colors and earning more concern from Regulus. "Where is Kuribon?"
"The human world 'does' have traffic issues. If Carly has the twins, then school is out and people are going home. Even with Carly driving, they'll have to navigate their way through the roads to get here." Shield Warrior, a tall deep tan warrior with a sturdy and long shield explained for the lion.

Ryu was busy raking his fingers through his hair, attempting to get it back into some state of order. Helicopters were a great way to move about fast, but that wind... Though the fact that the helicopter had been waiting for him got a raised eyebrow from him. The maid pulled open the door for him and was already in a bow before he got his foot over the threshold.
While the well remembered interior of the mansion held guests that he didn't expect, but welcomed all the same.
"Aunt Anzu! Uncle Ryuji! Uncle Honda!" He rushed forward in a very unVice President dash across the plush floor in the living room.
The three grown ups stood up to welcome the child, with Anzus' arms already open and welcoming despite the red around her eyes. While the two men called out their own warm, albeit broken from Honda, greetings. Ryu wrapped his arms around Anzu's neck as she gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
"My look at how you've grown!" Anzu crooned out, smelling of soft lavender perfume, while the men came up.
Ryu looked up at the men and frowned as he took in the look of masked pain on their faces. "Oh... father notified you about Uncle Jounouchi..."
Anzu swallowed painfully as the two men looked away in unison.
"It wasn't that he just notified us, rather its not easy to just drop everything and come... Life you know?" Ryuji explained, his one time red and black attire replaced with an expensive business suit. Though one of muted reds and blacks, his shirt the type to flair out almost akin to a poets shirt.
"And well, Shizuka came first since Jounouchi was her brother and all," Honda explained with that break not quite leaving his voice.
"I'm sorry that your visit here is about that," Ryu replied as Anzu released him, allowing him to get hugs from one uncle then the other.
"Its more our fault... We shouldn't have let our visits start lagging as they have," Ryuji confessed.
"Yeah, Malik wanted to be here today too..."
The conversation carried on as Yugi looked around the room, eyeing the gang's aged selves with a lonely expression that couldn't be seen. Anzu wore her hair in a familiar bob, her clothes were tasteful in bright colors of soft yellows and warm oranges. Though they hung a little thin on her dancer frame. Realistically her and Honda were dressed a lot like they used to as teens. But just more grown up, clothes tucked in, colors more subdued, while Ryuji showed that he had done well for himself.
'Are you dressing like this because you're in Kaiba's mansion?' Yugi pondered as he walked among the teens he might have or might not have known.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Yusei \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Yusei knelt on the concrete, thick chains were clamped about his ankles and wrists and set into the ground. It was almost ludicrous how massive they were, easily the chains were a thick as the width of Yusei's own hand. The numbness had finally faded enough that he was able to push himself to his knees and get a better look around.
Another construction site rested around him, the foundation of the ground had already been put into place. The size of it gave Yusei reason to believe this was to be another warehouse for construction. The walls were made of concrete that surrounded the site, a curious thing even to Yusei given he didn't know what the site was meant for. But it wasn't of any real importance so the thought of it was quickly pushed to the back of his mind.
Pushed aside for the very real violation he felt at the absence of both his decks. As he stood up, the loss of the familiar weight of his standing deck's managed to pierce his numb pain filled body. While he knew that his riding had (hopefully) been left alone with YuseiGo he didn't even know where his D-Wheel 'was'. He was without his duel disk, his ride, and any of his decks while the Arcadia Movement stood around him guarding the area from what he could see.
It was a loss that filled him with both outrage and fear.
Before him a man he never saw before, even in the car that he was tailing, stood listening to a phone with one hand, holding a standard Duel Disk with the other. The man in question wore a suit that Yusei couldn't quite tell in the slowly darkening sky if it held green tones or not. He wore sunglasses though, the large type that covered most of his face. Leaving Yusei only seeing his own reflection when he looked at the man directly.
Having heard Divine though Yusei could only theorize what was going on. The chains and shackles, the theft of his deck and the presence of only one duel disk. While not a detective there was certainly enough to make Yusei suspect what was going to happen.
"Yes sir, I'll get that set up for you," the man with glasses finally said, his words a sign that the conversation was over. He hung up the phone before turning his attention back to Yusei, flinging the duel disk across the space between them. Causing Yusei to catch the device or get clocked in the head with it.
"What? No long speeches, or proclamations?" Yusei mockingly inquired, while removing the deck from the duel disk. His heart sinking as he looked them over, a dead deck, one lacking any type of structure and meant only to fail. As much as it was a perverse pride for Yusei to be able to take the weakest of decks and make them work. 'These are all standard monster cards, none of these have effects. Not even magic or traps anywhere. If he's expecting me to face someone with an actual deck, no matter how weak. These cards won't stand any chance.'
A slow death was all that these cards could promise him. He could put them all in defense mode to protect his life points, but that would only slow down the inevitable. If Crow and Jack found YuseiGo they might be able to canvas the area to find Yusei now. But would he still be dueling when the pair found him? A set up by Divine made Yusei doubt that they were forgotten, and as much as he didn't like it. He let his mind travel down the paths of the worst case scenario, hoping to to figure out what Divine wanted.
'You know what he wants...' A part of his mind whispered. 'Or rather, what he wants 'back'.'
If Yusei could communicate through his deck, share his feelings through his cards, it would only make sense that he would be denied access to that very deck. While the man who had tossed the Duel Disk left and approached the building beyond, walking with a uniformed march, "bring out the Witch!"
