CHAPTER 13

Bruce had yet to see the arrival of a Robin in these two days that the three of them had arrived. Seeing the expression of mild pain on his partner as he glowed worried him, or rather very well hidden pain, but he was the bat, there was no use hiding things from him.

Carrie pulled Jason away as the glow began, and the mentors watched a second light appear high above the room and then a blonde girl fall onto the table.

The Robin uniform was very visible, the red, yellow, green and black made it clear to anyone who looked that the girl was Robin.

Bruce had convinced his Robin not to wear the green on his clothes, but seeing the other Robins he knew that his alternate selves were not as lucky.

Clark and Diana watched surprised and a little worried, that fall must have hurt.

Dinah interspersed her gaze between the three, four? Robins present, two of whom sighed and she was pretty sure she heard the ''Here we go again.'' That Carrie whispered.

It didn't take her long to get down on her knees at the table, lifting the cloak from her face, the lenses of her mask widening as she looked at them.

But before she could even get up and into fighting stance, Batman exclaimed.

''Dimensional travel.''

The girl stopped her movement and stared at Batman, before shaking her head. Physically she looked to be about 19, but the weariness on her face made it look like she was much older.

You're lucky I don't have a brick nearby, boss, otherwise I wouldn't be responsible for my actions! She climbed down from the table on Clark's side, at which point everyone was standing.

She wiped the dirt from her clothes and looked at Bruce and the other Robins before letting out a sad, but sincere, ''But it's very good to see you again.''

The 'alive' was unspoken, but it was subtended.

Jason shuddered at that.

''I wish I could say the same, but I don't know you.'' Batman held out his hand.

''Robin.'' Was the reply.

''We're currently down to four Robins here, five with you, this is going to get a little confusing fast if we call everyone Robin.'' Canary offered sympathetically.

The blonde raised an eyebrow and stared at the three younger heroes. Two in civilian clothes and one in uniform. ''Yeah, I guess so. You can call me Spoiler.''

Robin raised an eyebrow. ''Spoiler?

''I made it up myself.'' Her gaze dropped. ''Before everything happened and I became Robin again...'' She shakes her head and turns to the bat. ''Anyway, did you say dimensional travel?''

A few minutes later.

''No wonder the league wanted to talk to Jason.'' Kaldur shook his head.

''That won't happen in our world.'' KF exclaimed seriously, a tone of voice the team had never heard from the speedster. ''We won't let it.''

''No, we won't let it.'' Artemis agreed.

''Is that why Rob and Carrie went with him?'' BJ asked.

''Yes, I think with them there it might help a little.''

The team nodded, all stuck in their thoughts for a while.

After a few minutes Conner stood up from the couch, the team doing the same. Everyone's face getting sympathetic when they saw Jason and then confused when they saw the new Robin.

''We also don't know why two Robins came at once this time, but here they are.'' Robin answered the question in their minds. ''That's Spoiler and Jason. Spoiler is from earth 11.''

Jason waved at them and Spoiler smiled and also waved his hand. ''Hi.''

''Looks like you guys are going to need to put up with us for a while.'' Jason exclaimed with a smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. Kaldur stepped forward and made the introductions again, this time including BJ to the list, who at some point during the robins' meeting with the league put his uniform back on.

''I really never expected to see that uniform worn again.'' Spoiler smiled in surprise.

Artemis cracked a mischievous smile at that.

''Yeah, I heard that before today.'' BJ squared his shoulders and shook her hand.

Jason held up his hands. ''Good thing the Nightwing of my world always wore pants!'' He thanked.

''Did you have to wear these too?'' Diana asked Spoiler.

''That uniform? Oh no, at most the third Robin wore it once or twice when he started, but he was the last to wear that style of uniform.''

''And your Batman let them out like that?'' Clark asked really curious.

''Uh yeah? As strange as it is, he did.''

''What year are you guys?'' M'gann moved a little closer at the question.

''2011.'' ''2018''

The two looked at each other.

''2011? Really?'' Spoiler asked.

''Yes. Is there a problem?'' Jason raised his eyebrow under his mask.

''No, not really.''

''I... was just going to make dinner, anyone want to help?'' Megan offered when she realized Spoiler looked tense.

''Me!'' Kid Flash raised his hand and was slapped on the back of the head delivered by Artemis.

''And let you eat half the food while it's being made? No, thank you.''

''Speedsters doesn't stay near kitchen.'' Surprisingly all the Robins exclaimed at the same time, even Carrie.

''Especially this speedster.'' Spoiler added.

''I'll help in the kitchen.'' Jason stepped forward and followed the Martian into the other room.

''You know.'' M'gann's voice sounded through the cave. ''You're the only Robin who comes from the same year as we are...''

The communicator of the three league members rang in their ears. Time for the meeting.

''Guys the conversation is good but we need to go. We'll be back tomorrow, okay?'' Superman offered with a smile on his face.

Artemis also said goodbye, realizing that it was past the time she said she would get home.

''So? What's your world like?'' KF asked as she plopped herself down on one of the couches once her mentors and friend left. The rest of the team sat or lay down on the couches around them.

''You mean like what's left of my world.'' She sighed. ''I won't lie to you Wally, it's not a pretty place like this right now. Too many heroes have fallen.'' She shakes her head, ''But maybe we can rebuild.'' She cracks a small smile.

''But Batman is on your side, isn't he?'' Carrie asks worriedly.

''Yes, although he wasn't supposed to take over as Batman for another ten years. But here we are.'' She bites her lip. ''I really don't want to talk about my world, I'll have to go back soon, so I'll enjoy the short vacation. Tell me about here, how are things? Because we are in the cave I think you are not the Titans, but Young Justice.''

''Young Justice?'' Robin sat up.

''That... that's a great name.'' Conner nodded.

''We're the secret operations team of the justice league.'' Kaldur explained.

BJ grimaced. "You really need a name for your team.

''I vote for young justice!'' Wally and Robin raised their hands.

''I agree, it's a great name, I think Artemis and M'gann will like it too.'' Conner looked at the leader, who nodded. Kal had also liked the name.

''Name problem solved, you're Young Justice now!'' Spoiler held out her hand. ''But you haven't finished answering me, what is this world like? How did your team form?

''I confess I'm curious about that too.'' Jason shouted from the kitchen.

The robins held back a laugh.

''Meg, connect us mentally, I think it will be easier.'' Robin exclaimed and looked at her alternate brothers. ''Don't worry, it will only pick up superficial thoughts to allow our communication. That's better than shouting from one room to another.'' He squared his shoulders.

''Smart. Do you guys use that on missions?'' Carrie asked curiously.

''Sure.'' M'gann's voice sounded in everyone's head.

A/N: Yeah! Stephanie Brown is here! Several people got it right and still mentioned others, calm down, they will all show up in time. If you haven't noticed or don't read the comics, Steph Robin here belongs to ''DCeased: Hope at World's End #5''. I don't know her age in this comic, but here she will be 19.

Originally I thought of bringing Tim, but as I was writing, I realized that Steph would be a better choice, Tim will have a very important role with her when he shows up!
