Tim is from the comics, right after Jason's attack on the Tower of the Titans, more or less three or four months later.

CHAPTER 17.

''Who drinks that much coffee?'' M'gann asks in exasperation.

''The third Robin.'' Spoiler smiled.

''Is he always like this?'' Superboy asks.

''If his world is anything like what mine was.''

''Was...'' Kaldur wanted to sigh, what happened in those other worlds?

''Then I guess it's because of the time. If I'm right, that's the time the Titans were up to their necks in villain attacks, much of the originals had left the team, Nightwing and Flash included, it was difficult.''

''Everything seems difficult for you Robins from alternate worlds.'' Kaldur speaks with concern.

''I was part of the Titans?'' KF smiled.

Steph looked at him. ''Yeah first generation, I think we talked about that before... Anyway, I guess your device kind of gave gifts to some of us as a little respite from our worlds and problems.''

''I agree, you, Jason and this Tim guy really seem to need it.'' KF raised his arms and crossed them behind his head.

Spoiler smiled at that. She never got to work side by side with Wally in her world, only once with Bart, that would be interesting. Being part of a team again would be interesting... she needed to talk to Bruce.

"So... Stephanie, why don't you tell us your name?'' Artemis asked.

''I don't know, Artemis Crock, maybe for the same reason as you?'' She asked, surprising the other girl. ''Don't worry, I'm a bat, your name is safe with me. But answering you, I think maybe it's protection? Maybe? Even I don't know, maybe it's for the sake of the timeline, although what happened in my world has no chance of happening here, but you already know Jason and Tim's name, so hiding it doesn't make sense anymore.''

''Can you tell us about your world? I didn't get to hear it.''; Zatanna asks.

''Neither have we heard.'' KF snorted.

Stephanie debated about it in her mind, it was likely that Tim was listening and he would tell about. That world was very different from hers, so she was starting to think it wouldn't hurt to tell some things.

"Okay, but only up to a certain part, I won't tell after a while, that's a subject I want to talk about with someone else. And just because this Tim is not yet as suspicious as the one I knew...'' She shook her head. ''Okay, after Jason died, Batman went crazy...''

The rest of the trip is pure history and unbeknownst to the team, a bat who had bugged the ship was listening in and practically developing a plan to find Jason, Tim and Stephanie and get them under his protection as soon as possible. Canary looked ready to punch someone, she would have a field day with these Robins, what world did they come from?

The radios were also being listened to by the Robins who stayed on the mountain. Tim had really hacked the communications and as soon as Steph started to tell the story, he asked the rest to listen in.

Dick looked at everyone as he listened to the story. :::I just got another brother, didn't I?::: He wondered.

The bioship landed among the trees near a warehouse, the mission was on the other side of the world and it was already getting dark, having transporters was great, Steph rolled her eyes under her mask, what is it with villains and warehouses?

''Alright, keep your communicators on, but interact on the mind link. This is a quick mission, check in, check out. Any unforeseen problems, let me know. The meeting point is the bionave. See you in forty minutes.'' Kaldur stood up, squeezing on his uniform so that his camouflage suit would show, everyone was doing the same except Steph.

''Aren't you going to change your uniform?'' M'gann asked.

''No?'' Steph squared her shoulders. ''Believe me, if I can camouflage myself in Gotham with these colors I don't think I'll need to, and besides, my uniform doesn't have that option.''

''Still be careful. Meg.''' Kaldur looks at the Martian and she nods.

:::All connected.::: It sounded in everyone's mind.

''I don't think I'll ever get used to this.'' Steph exclaimed.

''What shall we call her?'' KF interrupted before anyone could move.

''I'm here as Robin, so call me Robin.''

''This is going to get weird.'' Superboy frowns.

''It's only for one day.'' Artemis reminds.

''Let's go.''

The team subdivided and although it was a different and older Robin than they were used to, Spoiler merged into the leftovers just like his Robin and somehow ended up on top of the big lights at the top of the warehouse. KF and Artemis stayed on the upper floors. M'gann cloaked himself and stood next to Spoiler. Superboy and Zatanna were outside, ready to go in if something happened and Kaldur was hiding on the other side of the place, entry was relatively easy, even with the guards posted outside and inside. Something big was going to happen.

The aliens that Zatara had told the league about were there, they had humanoid forms, but they were not human. There were three in total, two men, who looked more like guards and a woman with long black hair, she wore a cloak and a crown as well, the very image of a queen. From the angle, they had a full view of the woman.

She was at most 18 years old, with black hair, orange skin, and... Spoiler leaned over in fright. ''I don't believe it!'' She whispered.

Eyes entirely green. A Tamaranean.

''Komand?'' Spoiler whispered and thought at the same time.

:::Do you know her?::: Artemis asked.

:::Yes, she one of the villains of the Titans and sister of one of them. She is known in my world as the Blackfire. She took the throne from her own parents in a coup and became a dictator. She sold her own sister to her enemies to get it::::

:::A nice sister she.::: Zatanna commented.

Spoiler held back a snort. ::::You have no idea. She is highly dangerous, the Tamaran royal family is trained from childhood in fighting, be careful.:::: She looked around. :::Where is Starfire when you need her?::::

:::Who?:::: M'gann frowned.

::::Her sister, the Titan I told you about.::::

:::Quiet, they're going to start!::: Kid Flash

''Komand, my dear guest queen.'' A voice sounded in the warehouse, causing the team to look away from the alien. Count Vertigo.

''Where was this formality when we first spoke, Count.'' Was the dismissive reply.

:::For an alien, she doesn't have an accent at all.::: Superboy exclaimed.

:::Her people learn new languages by the act of kissing, and thus learn all languages as if they were native to the area.::::

:::That is useful.::: KF thought to himself.

Spoiler smiled. ::::Yes, Nightwing and Starfire thought so too.::::

:::Nightwing?:::: Zatanna asked startled.

::::They dated for a while::::Spoiler replied the young sorceress.

:::Oh, okay... people, mission!:::: Zatanna remembered.

''What do you have for me?'' Komand asked.

''Did you bring what I asked for?''

She held up a pendrive-like device, but soon wrapped it in her whole hand again. "Your turn.

He brought his hand to his ear and spoke. "Bring it in.

Another door opened.

:::I didn't know it was a negotiation, I thought the information from the league was just a meeting, a conversation, maybe plans:::: Spoiler looked to where he thought M'gann was.

:::I'm on the other side, Robin, and it was, I guess I was wrong.:::

''We tested it on one of the heroes a few days ago and have confirmation from a reliable source that it worked.''

:::Isn't that the machine that hit Robin? I thought we took it to the league!::: KF asked in despair.

Komand approached the machine as soon as they brought it in, it was small, about the size of a motorcycle helmet, with only a few buttons.

''Did you calibrate the error?''

''Yes, instead of coming one at a time, this device will bring all you need at once.''

:::Looks that way.::: Kaldur agrees. ::::We need to warn the league.:::

''If it's not too much to ask, the flash drive.'' Vertigo held out her hand, but she just stares at him.

"You know I don't trust words alone, dear. I want proof. Which hero?''

''Robin.'' A new male voice enters the room.

Spoiler almost groaned in defeat.

Deathstroke. Shit. What is he doing here?

''And this is an important hero?''

"Yes.

''Attention team this is Robin from Earth 1, disconnect the mind link, Psimon has just entered the premises.'' Tim's voice exclaims over the communicators.

''Disconnected.'' M'gann whispers.

A second passed before Dick's voice shouts over the comms. ''KF LOOK OUT!''

Wally only had time to jump at Artemis and throw them both to the ground as a shower of bullets flew by where the two had been standing seconds before.

''How? KF asked as he got off the archer.

'''Deathstroke somehow hacked the communications, get out of there now!'' The voice of another Robin, maybe Jason, shouted over the comms.

Without warning sounds of metal falling and locks locking were heard.

''We're trapped here!'' M'gann whispered into the comms, dodging bullets as he became Slade's target.

''SB, Ze, time to go in.'' Kaldur speaks into the comms.

''On my way.''

Spoiler keeps herself hidden in the shadows, not knowing where to go, if she showed up, Komand would get his confirmation, which in itself was bad, but she couldn't stand still.

Artemis began to strike back with arrows and a loud bang outside said that Superboy was trying to get in.

''Communications reconfigured, Deathstroke out of them.'' Robin's (Dick) voice sounded again after a few seconds. ''I just don't know how he did it...''

''You don't want to know.'' Tim snorted.

''Superboy isn't getting in, they have Kryptonite.'' Zatanna exclaimed.

''Try your magic, get you two inside.'' Tim's voice sounded again.

''Agreed. Team fight back as much as you can.'' Aqualad ordered as he fought with the guards.

''And avoid Komand.'' Spoiler interrupted.

The team descended into battle with ease, each taking on a villain. Spoiler, from above, threw a batarang at Count Vertigo, hitting him in the head and knocking him unconscious.

One less to worry about.

Zatanna and Superboy showed up soon after, with Superboy needing a few moments to recover, but Zatanna started throwing spells as soon as she arrived.

Canary started running for the zeta tubes as soon as she heard the complications, but Batman held her by the arm, pointing at the cameras.

''Listen, I have a plan! It's crazy but I think it will work.'' Tim exclaimed suddenly.

''But you're not even here!'' KF exclaimed as he circled Slade.

''We're watching from the suit câmeras.'' Dick replied.

"But he...''

''Keep going Red.'' Spoiler interrupted the speedster.

Even realizing the older Robin's slip, Tim began to explain.

''Super, of all people, you are the only one with brute strength, fight Deathstroke or Komand. M'gann, you take Psimon, and stay away from Komand, her powers are fire, try to recover the mind link. Kaldur, you assist Super. Zatanna, there is a helmet-sized device in the middle of the place, take it and go to the bionave with your magic, wait there. Spoiler, take advantage of the confusion and get that flash drive. The rest of you take out the goons, Robin and I will clear the exits for you.''

"You heard him, attack!'' Kaldur said.

In a flash of magic, Zatanna was in front of Komand, who tried to grab the device. The alien queen failed to catch it before the girl and Zatanna disappeared.

''NO!'' She looked at the teenagers who were attacking. ''You assholes, how dare you, you will...''

''I don't think so.'' A punch came her way and she was thrown back a few feet before looking at the owner of the fist. Superboy. With a growl, she throws fire at him.

The guards surrounding her earlier were busy with Kaldur. Good, she wanted no interference.

Artemis had come down and kept shooting more and more arrows at Deathstroke, taking on the villain when Superboy chose to fight Komand. Kid was taking down even more villains at high speed. M'gann was floating near Psimon. The plan was working.

Except for one thing.

Komand had not released the pendrive.

''Okay, then let's get to the big guns.'' Spoiler whispered. "Superboy, go for it.

"You're the boss.''

''What?'' Komand asked in surprise as the Kryptonian threw himself at her, causing the two to fall to the ground, struggling. The impact, or the struggle, caused a small pendrive to fly through the air. At exactly the right moment for Spoiler to jump up and grab it.

''I did it.'' She speaks into the comms.

"Steph/Robin behind you!'' Carrie yelled into the comms at the same time Artemis yelled into the battle.

She got out of the way seconds before Deathstroke's blade hit the place where she was .

With no time to think, Spoiler stood up and put the flash drive into neither one of his belt pockets as he assumed a fighting stance, looking at the older man.

''I thought you didn't get involved with people who wouldn't pay you.'' She exclaims, remembering what Dick told her about the man.

''And who says I'm not getting paid?'' He attacked, but Spoiler dodged, at some point Artemis joined her in the fight, but it still wasn't enough, both were thrown away when Superboy was thrown at them as they fought.

Komand landed next to Deathstroke, looking with satisfaction at Spoiler.

''I think I got my confirmation.''

''Oh shut up.'' Spoiler stood up, the two younger heroes following her closely. ''You've had your confirmation, now return the favor. Where is she?''

''Robins...'' KF asked into the comms, seeing the situation as she fought off the rest of the goons.

''Almost.''

''Batman, they need help.''

''Wait, I want to see what happens.''

''What? Batman!''

''If anything gets worse, I'll send Clark and Barry, but wait.''

Canary looked at the cameras again.

''She who?'' Komand asks as Slade raises his blades.

''Koriand'r. Your sister.''

''Oh, her. As far as I know still in her cell. Actually I'm surprised you know her.''

Superboy gets even angrier at this. ''How can you?

Simple, I'm the queen. If the perfect little Koriand'r survives this, maybe I'll get her back.''

''You bitch.'' Artemis exclaims.

''How old is she here?'' Spoiler shouted.

''Thirteen earth years, darling.''

With a shout, Superboy throws himself at her again, ready for another fight that soon became a punch fight. Slade also attacks again.

The battle resumes.

''Robin!'' Artemis calls out now, deflecting the sword with her bow.

''Almost!'' ''Wait a minute!''

The mountain lights begin to flash wildly.

''No No no no no no...'' Tim types like crazy, hammering the keys on the mountain's holographic communicator. Dick was doing the same with his wrist computer.

''Robin!'' Artemis' voice called out now.

BJ, Carrie and Jason looked at each other, desperate to do something but unable to. Two didn't know this technology and the third didn't have the same level of hacking as the two Robins on the couch.

''Almost.'' Tim repeated.

''Wait a minute!'' Dick exclaims and shudders, not now, please!

''Ah shit.'' Jason took a step back. Dick was glowering again.

Carrie and BJ looked at each other in horror. This glow was stronger than the previous ones.

Just then, Canary and Batman came running into the room.

Dick was squirming on the couch, but he didn't stop typing.

''Robin, let me take over!'' Batman yells as soon as he enters the room, but the boy ignores him.

These could easily be the ten most tense seconds of their lives, as he raised his eyes to Tim, who met his eyes and nodded.

''Exits clear!'' The two of them practically shouted into their communicators. And Dick cringed even more now that he had both hands free.

A portal opened in the middle of the room. Batman pulled the cape from Jason, who pulled BJ along with him. Batman placed both of them behind him.

Canary did the same to Carrie.

Tim gets up from the couch and stands in front of his older brother, new? with his staff in hand, he didn't know what was going on, but he was going to protect his brother.

The lights in the cave were still blinking when a small bat-shaped ship entered the portal and scraped across the floor as it glided by cave, the horrible sound of metal on the stone floor of the cave. Luckily none of them were in the way. Robin stopped glowing and a new glow appeared near him.

''Exits clear!''

Confirmation came, and along with it, Psimon was thrown across the room, hitting and knocking down Slade who was in the way. Komand's henchmen and guards had fallen.

At the warehouse door the interior of the bionave could be seen. Zatanna brought the ship close.

The team ran inside.

Superboy gave the last blow to the alien queen, making her stagger. This gave him time to run to the ship.

As he entered the ship, M'gann closed the door and the ship left, becoming invisible again.

Kaldur was holding his injured and bleeding arm when he activated his communicator.

''Team to cave. Mission accomplished. And we're taking two new devices, as well as information.'' He sighed and sat back in place.

In the last seat of the ship, Spoiler lifted the flash drive and looked at Superboy. ''Good job, without you I couldn't have gotten it.''

Conner smiled.

KF and M'gann looked at their friends, KF came out with only a few scratches and M'gann intact, but the rest were in various grains of injuries, ranging from sword marks to scratches from gunshots or burns.

''Get the medbay ready. We're coming back.'' Kaldur added

''Roger that.'' Tim replies, although he looks surprised Kaldur is too tired to ask why.

Komand steadied herself on her feet again and looked at the place where the device was minutes ago.

''That was not part of the agreement.''

''You losing the flash drive wasn't either. But not everything went wrong.'' Slade wiped his blades.

A figure appeared in the doorway, walking over to where the fight had taken place and nodded to Slade.

Slade nodded again. ''Very well trained, it is likely that the others are too.''

The figure nodded. ''Interesting.'' And turned to the queen, ''My congratulations, your majesty. You have just been accepted into the light.''

Komand smiles and nods his head. ''Based on recent events, I hope my part of the deal will be delivered soon. After all, the copy of the contents of that flash drive will be put to good use in your hands.''

''First we will make a readjustment to the deal, there have been changes of plans. Bring the one the girl asked about and help us get the Robins, and the device is yours.''

''It won't be hard, but will it be two things for one? Doesn't seem fair to me.''

''Part of the territory of this planet seems very fair to me.'' The man replies.

The smile Komand gives is all he needs to know his answer.

A woman between sixteen and seventeen stood up, her clothes were very old fashioned and looked like they came out of a movie from the 1700s. She wore green pants and a sword on a black belt, which matched her black heeled boots. The vest was red over a white shirt. Her cloak was black and her black hair was tied up in a long braid. Her mask was black and looked like normal fabric.

She looked around wide-eyed, her familiar blue eyes meeting the lens of Bruce's mask before the ship across the room opened the hatch, causing the newly arrived Robin to wield her sword.

A blonde girl came out from inside the ship carrying a smaller black haired girl in a colored uniform, both injured, the blonde looked relieved when she saw the group.

''Please help us.'' She climbed down from the ship just before she passed out.

The blonde girl had the Superman symbol.
