CHAPTER 19.
Clark entered his new cousin's room and closed the door behind him. The room was lit by rays of synthetic yellow sunlight to speed Kara's recovery. Kara herself smiled at him as he entered, taking a seat on the bed, although she visibly shuddered when she made the movement. Clark was at her side helping her in a flash, helping her.
''No matter what the world, you're always a gentleman, aren't you?'' She looks at him in a corner.
''Mom taught me well.''
''No one has ever been able to disobey Martha Kent, so I believe you.''
Clark smiled and sat down next to her.
''It's a pleasure to meet you.''
''It's very nice to see you again.'' Was the reply.
"I... really don't know what to say to you. You're the first Kryptonian I've ever met...''
''It's confusing really.'' She smiled at him and placed her hand under his, they were both silent for a while before Clark spoke.
''Kara...you're not from around here and I know I'm not your Clark, but I hope I can help you.'' He almost kicked himself, that's what he should have said to Conner when he saw him... no, they're fixing things now, they'll be fine.
''I know...'' She looked at him. ''Can I hug you?'' She asks.
"Sure! He hugs her carefully, not knowing how much of her strength she has regained.
''Better?'' He asks and she nods before letting go and taking a deep breath.
"Better.''
''Good... you, well, I guess you have doubts...''
''Lots of.'' She interrupts, wiping her tears away.
"Well, so do I. How about this, I answer one question, you answer another.
''I...think that's fair.''

''Okay, so let's do the math. We have the golden boy, whose has yet to reveal his true identity to the team.'' Jason pointed at Dick.
''Blame it on Batman.'' That was the simple explanation.
''B is boring and you know it.'' Carrie muttered.
''I've been calling him Wing since I got here.'' B.J. squared his shoulders.
''This is going to get even weirder.'' Carrie exclaimed.
The team and robins were scattered around the mountain room, now making a call to introduce everyone to Rochelle.
''Moving on, we have B.J, who is B's son, or as I mentioned before, the blond one.''
''Hey! I'm the 'blonde' of the Batfamily!'' Steph interrupted. Her real, excited personality slowly appearing. She was sitting on the couch eating her waffles that M'gann made for her.
''Alright, alright, just B.J.'' Jason rolled his eyes, ''We have Tim, who apparently is a very good detective and hacker, hacker is...something from this era, I won't be able to explain it to you. The little redhead is Carrie, and for some reason she has a slingshot.''
''It's quite useful actually.''
"I agree.'' Dick points .
''You agree with everything, Wing, you're the big brother.'' B.J faces him.
''Now, that is true.'' Tim sits up straighter.
"Shut up and let me go on!''
This caused everyone in the room to laugh, Canary without anyone noticing, leaned against the door of the room, watching them.
''Ok, where was I... ah yes. The better Robin, meaning me.'' He smiled at the chaos that sentence caused.
''You would think so.''
''Maybe in your dreams.''
''Not really.''
''Ok ok, but you know it's true...hey!" He picked up the pillow Dick had thrown at him and threw it back. "The blonde is Steph, or Spoiler, you decide.
"Why Spoiler? Rochelle asked confused.
''One of my super names.''
''Now you and the other girl have arrived, B said her name is Helena, she is another niece of you. Which leaves us with exactly eight Robins from eight different worlds.''
''Some worlds have similar points or histories, but they are not the same.'' Steph explained before finishing her last waffle and getting up.
Turning around, she nods to the older heroine and heads to the kitchen.
''Any news from the girls?''
''Kara is awake and recovering, but Helena is not yet.''
The answer startled most of the heroes in the room, even the robins.
''Is she okay?'' M'gann and Kaldur asked.
''She will be, she had some injuries from the previous battle, but she will be fine yes.'' She looks at the team. ''Her world is gone, she will stay with us even after this is all over, the same goes for Kara. They will both be released from the infirmary after they recover, I suggest you wait for Helena to wake up before you pay a visit.''
Robin looks at Superboy with a smile on his face. ''Looks like we've gained two sisters.''
''And they're going to need you from now on, all of you.'' She faces the team before turning to Rochelle. "How are you?
''Better now that I have my answers madam.'' She replied, keeping her eyes on the older heroine.
Dinah smiled at this, knowing that it was customary from the time Rochelle came.
''You can call me Canary dear.'' She turned back to the team. ''Eight Robins.''
''Yes. And judging by the fact that we are still here, there are even more coming.'' Carrie replied.
''That's good, considering the new information we've gotten.'' Bruce's voice sounded through the hallway and he stood next to Canary. ''If Robin hadn't been shot and you guys hadn't come, maybe other villains would come, judging by the information.''
''We've scheduled a meeting for tonight, we'll talk about it with the rest of the league.'' Zatara also entered the room.
''Maybe Tim and I can go along, help with our knowledge.'' Steph came back into the room.
''No.'' The three adults spoke together.
Tim raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms.
"That's not an option, one of the Titans' villains is involved, and we are Titans. We know her, she won't agree to anything. Whoever planned that exchange is planning something big enough for her to be interested.'' Tim replies seriously and Steph is suddenly reminded of why Tim was the leader of his team, he is the only one, besides Dick, who could talk to the league in that tone of voice.
''We will take that into consideration and call you guys if necessary, but I don't think it will be.'' Canary replied.
Instead of fighting, as the team normally would, the two looked at each other and nodded before turning to the three of them.
''We'll be listening in case you need us.'' Steph smiled.
Bruce seemed to raise an eyebrow under his hood, again only the Robins knew this, and they only knew it because they knew their father/brother/mentor so well.
''When she wants something, she gets it, that's how she stayed a vigilante. You get used to it.'' Tim answers the unasked question.
''Like you're different.''
And of course all Robins had that same stubbornness training, Canary had to control herself not to punch the bat for it.
