Unknown area: "Madara Uchiha"'s pov: Third person
There had been some interesting developments recently. Not really anything helpful to him per se as of now but it still was interesting. Three genin fought off Hidan the immortal and one even faced off against Itachi and survived his Tsukuyomi. Impressive. His will to survive is indeed high.
The same genin lost an eye and protected his teammates.
The uchiha awakened a sharingan in that same battle
It reminded him a bit of himself and Bakakashi. It wasn't the same circumstance though. They weren't fighting to save someone and nobody "died" that day. There were no casualties. Now that wasn't good. He could have had a pawn if someone died. Indeed
Perhaps he still could have a pawn? He could always do a bit of manipulation and offers. Someone else that sees reality for what it is would indeed be useful. Using Nagato for his plans wasn't going anywhere as of now because the man had a village to run. Understandable but He wouldn't need to run it at all if he understood and agreed with the plan. Zetsu disagreed. He knew he needed zetsu and couldn't go against him. His skills in gathering information were almost unmatched with the only person coming close being him himself and Jiraya of the sannin.
Maybe Zetsu would see the value in his Idea of another pawn?
If he had another, Healthy pawn He could perhaps give the rinnegan to use instead then that would mean the Ten tails could be reformed sooner. Nobody would be able to stop it at all. Not even his old sensei would have been able to stop a Bijuu of that magnitude.
Not even the first Hokage was that powerful. And He'd be the one to control it. Madara wouldn't even need to be revived. Not that he wanted that anyways. He always planned on betraying the old bastard anyways. He knew he wanted peace for his own ego. But He wanted peace to see his beloved again and to free reality of the shakles of pain and suffering.
If it meant a few people had to die for peace then it was a small price to pay for salvation. The jinchurriki were just unfortunate casualties of the eye of the moon plan. That was fine by him. They would be back in the perfect world anyways, with no Bijuu to cause them pain.
There were Nine jinchurriki to go after. Most unknown. The only known ones were the 2 tails, 8 tails, 9 tails, and the 3 tails. The others were unknown sadly. But zetsu would find that out. That was his job. He would do his. He was the true head of the Akatsuki. He had to be the one who was the jinchurriki of the Ten tails.
"Madara" Looked at the man he was watching. He had to feel just the slightest bit sorry for the man. He had experienced the pain of reality first hand. Just like him. Yet he didn't give up. Even after everyone he loved died including himself. This man was Kakashi Hatake.
Madara sometimes watched Kakashi go to the hero's monument. It was strange. He did this every day of his life. He stood at the same place for 5 hours straight before going on a mission or doing nothing all day. He was a prime example of someone who should give up and join him. But Madara didn't want that for two reasons.
1 Kakashi was too smart to be a pawn.
2 he'd likely deduce his identity in due time
It was for those reasons he wanted the girl as his pawn. She was smart but controllable and She didn't know who she was. Plus she had the potential to unlock the powers of both left and right. If her brothers eyes were retrieved she'd be unstoppable and his pawn. The power of the sussano would be very useful
Madara wanted that. He wanted to have someone who would help him with his plans that had the powers of te eternal mangekyo. He couldn't achieve it himself but someone else could.
That someone was Mika Uchiha.
Madara soon left the area with a new plan to get another useful pawn.
Kukui's pov.
"Where are we going again?" I asked Mika curiously. She said she was going to take Me and Tenten somewhere cool to do something. I didn't know why. We could easily just go bowling or something. I've seen practically all the cool-looking locations in konoha but hey! If someone else was interested in the fauna then I'd be interested too. Didn't stop me before from enjoying a spot. I should stop whining...
Mika made a shh motion. "Its a secret! Once we'll get there you'll see" Mika said excitedly. Again it must have been a good place if someone(Especially Mika) was excited about it. It got me excited too to be honest. Although it didn't show.
Tenten nodded. "Okay. I can't wait anymore... If your excited over this then it must be good" Tenten said bluntly. Thank you for saying that for me Tenten... If only you could hear my thoughts.
Mika nodded furiously. "It's a really cool place! I swear! It's beautiful and there's lots of shade and water!" Mika said excitedly. Again as I said it must be a cool place if someone was that excited about it. If it was as beautiful as I thought then I'd be kicking myself for not finding it first.
Soon we reached an area hidden by trees and leaves. "We're here! We're here!" Mika said excitedly like a child. Sometimes I forget we're still children. I guess its moments like these that prove wer're somewhat innocent still.
It would be nice while it lasted. "Really?" I asked hopefully I was getting tired of walking. I wanted to relax and do something. I had sealed a lot of food away. We could have a picnic.
Tenten nodded. "Looks like it" She said happily. Mika nodded some more in agreement and I grinned.
Mika made a "come on" Motion. "Lets go! Come on! Today is our day off lets have fun!" Mika said excitedly, grabbing both me and Tenten's arms and dragging us inside the area.
As soon as we were inside we found out Mika didn't lie to us. The place was beautiful. Trees covered the place but they still let sunlight in so there was plenty of shade and light, There was a giant pond in the middle with a cliff on the other side to jump into it, The water was clear as the skies, there was plenty of rocks and logs to lean and sit on, there was also a lot of grass here. As far as the eye could see there was plenty of places to lay at and watch the sky through the canopy of the trees. Shikamaru's wet dream would be this place.
It was just fucking beautiful. I was excited already. I hadn't found this place before. "This place looks fucking beautiful. How the hell did you find it, Mika?" I asked her after turning to her. She was grinning, Like she was gloating to us that she found this place. I didn't mind though... This place was just perfect. It looked like something from a fairy tail
Mika began talking. "I was just on this path a few weeks ago, waiting for you to get your ass out of your coma, and I stumbled upon this place. I was amazed when I first found it. It looks like something I read about the Shodai making when I was little" Mika said excitedly.
Tenten looked amazed. "Thats cool and all but...Just wow... You got lucky" Tenten mumbled.
Suddenly I heard all three of our stomachs growl. "Uh did anyone bring any food?" Mika asked, worriedly. We didn't want to make a 3 hour hike back just for some food. Lucky for everyone else I prepared. I grinned
I pulled out a sealing scroll and threw it down. An entire fucking picnic was unsealed. "I came prepared! Don't worry!" I exclaimed. I was happy as fuck upon seeing all of that food. Mika and Tenten were.
Tenten looked at me curiously. "How do you have the time to make this?" She asked.
I grinned. " I don't normally but my earth clones help a lot. Clones help with a lot of things actually. They're very useful" I said grinning. I had food sealed at all times just in case I got hungry or anyone of my friends did. I enjoyed the cooking anyways. It was fun and People seemed to love it...
I felt someone hug me. "Thank you! We don't have to walk three fucking hours to just get food! thank you!" I heard Mika exclaim happily. It felt weird to say the least. I hadn't been hugged in a while. I quickly shook Mika off.
I helped her up real quick. "Your welcome and Don't do that, please," I said blankly. I didn't like physical contact... even if it was from a friend. Okay, I did but I just didn't want a hug. It was awkward to me. Anyways It was time to eat.
Mika pouted. "Fine. No hugs... Well, lets eat! C'mon, I'm hungry" Mika said running to the food.
Tenten quickly ran too. "Hey leave some for me!" She exclaimed.
I smiled. Sometimes I felt like a child again... I felt the spark of life I had. Times like this were my favorite. I wish my other friends were here too... But hey I could have fun! This place was beautiful and it could be fun... No point in ruining it with too many people.
Soon I realized they'd eat all the food. "Hey! Wait I need something too!" I shouted in horror.
Again I hoped nothing like this would ever end
I knew I would be wrong though..
And that was worrying.
Training ground 6
I groaned. I didn't want to do this at all... "Do we really need to go spar with them for the day? Can't you just beat the shit out of us instead?" I asked tiredly. I hadn't slept much the previous night when I was designing a jutsu. I damn well wanted to create it and I would one day. Just not today... or tomorrow... or the day after that... Okay you get the point.
Hayate nodded. "You do, You need to interact with your fellow genin at some point. Today is a perfect opportunity. Just try not to antagonise them too much and you should be good" Hayate explained. I got it. But it didn't mean I liked it. I didn't want to deal with Neji's bullshit. I had only met the guy 4 times but man I hated his fate complex. He always talked about how I wouldn't succeed in life because I was a civilian and untalented.
Tenten hummed. "Its okay, Nobody wants to deal with Neji's fate complex but still. We need to get along. We're all shinobi of the leaf. Not children" Tenten said neutrally. Damnit I hated that she was right too. We needed to get along. Plus Neji was a swell guy once he got the 20ft poll out of his ass. But still. I could hate the guy now.
"I agree with Kukui. Couldn't sensei just beat us up instead? I'd prefer that than to talk to Neji" Mika whined. It was no use. Hayate wouldn't budge... Mean sensei making us interact with the most eccentric team in konoha with the only person I hate as of today... mean sensei...
Soon we reached where team 9 was... We saw Gai, his mini-me, The rando, and Mr. "I've been constipated all my life" Great! Neji scoffed upon seeing us. "So this is who we were going to fight today. They are already fated to lose to us" Neji said arrogantly. Okay I wanted to kick his ass now
Lee looked at Neji. "Don't be like that Neji-kun. I'm sure they'll give us a wonderful fight and possibly win. Don't be so unyouthful" Lee said to Neji, dissapointedly. Ah Gai already corrupted him. Eh It'd be fun too see him run around Gaara for a bit assuming the matches... ah fuck I forgot about the chunin exams.
Gai grinned. "Hello Hayate-kun! Today is the day we'll see which one of our youthful students is better. Mine or yours!" Gai exclaimed upon seeing Hayate. I knew I was in for a long day. A really long day. I quickly tuned Gai out. It would be needed for the foreseeable future.
Eventually the other team looked back to us after they finished bickering. Lee was the first one to talk. He had seen me in my eyepatch. "Kukui-kun what has happened to your eye?" He asked worriedly and curiously. Ah I was wondering when they'd ask that.
I grinned. "This is my battle scar! I got it from a mission" I said grinning. I had elected to be proud of losing my eye. It was a sign of survival and me being the winner. I won and I survived. Hidan did too but he had to get help to survive.
Lee nodded. "I see. I am sorry for the unfortunate loss. I hope it hasn't hindered your ability to be a shinobi in any way possible. It'd be a shame too see such a youthful flame die out now" Lee said offering his condolences.
To my surprise Neji spoke up next. "I am sorry to here that. Losing an eye is very unfortunate indeed" HNeji said with an ounce of sympathy in his voice. I guess it made sense. He was a hyuuga and their eyes were their most important tool. Without them they'd never as good as they are now... Well at least to them
I grinned. I was happy for the support. "Thanks for the condolences. But I swear it didn't do anything to hinder me! I even found a way to do better than before!" I exclaimed happily. I truly had. Sound was really telling. You could tell by their heartbeat what they'd do next. If it was beating quicker, be prepared to dodge.
Lee grinned. "That is great Kukui-kun! But you need to be prepared. We will not go easy on even you because your younger when we spar. I look forward to fighting you" Lee said excitedly. Truth be told I was excited too. When did you ever get the chance to fight some badass? Yes I consider lee and absolute badass. He is because he fucked Gaara up in the chunin exams. I watched that with a smile and since then I considered lee a fucking bad ass.
I smiled. " I am... I've been training really hard to be stronger. I'll not lose" I said determinedly. I wanted to win. I needed to win. I desired victory... I wanted to taste it once more. I couldn't lose, Especially after all the hard work I put into winning.
Lee smiled widely. "I see your still brimming with youthful behavior! Then we shall spar at full force if we are allowed too" Lee said excitedly. A good fight made anyone happy
Hayate spoke up. "Alright since you two are so eager to spar, then you two can go first" Hayate said. "There will be three rules. 1: no fatal attacks so no sword Kukui or no special taijutsu techniques Lee. 2: Everything else is allowed so jutsu, shuriken, and you can both take off your weights. And 3: To win you either need to get your opponent to yield or knock them out. Is that clear?" Hayate asked after explaining the rules. Me and lee both nodded excitedly.
We jumped away from each other. Our teammates looking at each other and talking about who'd win
"Your teammate stands no chance against lee. Fate has already decided the winner" Neji said. I was filled with newfound determination. I'd prove this motherfucker wrong and ten I'd beat his ass.
I heard Mika come to my defense. "No Kukui will win. He's the best out of us three by a long margin. He'll win" Mika said, putting her faith into me. I couldn't lose now. No I couldn't I couldn't prove my friend wrong. I wouldn't prove my friend wrong.
I looked at lee. He looked at me.
We rushed toward each other at blazing speeds. Lee used the leaf hurricane. to try and kick me. I ducked under the kick and tried to punch lee in the midsection. Lee grabbed my fist and punched me in the midsection. I stood my ground and grabbed a kick from Lee. I continued to grip his legs and began spinning around. I let go eventually as Lee tried to stop me. He flipped in the air and jumped from a tree at me.
He stuck his foot out. Dynamic entry. I jumped away before I could get kicked. I began rushing toward Lee, activating sprinting. He put his arms out to block my flurry of punches. He took them like a champ and then punched me away.
Lee's punches hurt. A lot. So I figured It'd be time to take off my weights. They were up too 20 pounds each and I was very constricted. I jumped away, Lee following me. Raising a fist to punch me. Danger sense activated. I dodged. I could hear his heart beat faster. I dodged another kick then I tried to kick Lee in the chest.
Lee grabbed my foot mid kick and repeated what I did to him earlier.. He spun me mid air and then threw me away. I landed in the nice soft dirt. I went through some hand seals. "Fire style: Fireball jutsu!" I shouted, Spitting out a large fireball at lee. I made it a low heat flame so it wouldn't kill. Lee saw this and I thought he was going to dodge. Nope Lee did a leaf hurricane and kicked the fireball away. I knew this was bad. I quickly took off my wrist weights and threw them to Tenten. I had too little time to take off my other ones. Before lee could reach me I grabbed his foot and slamed him too the ground
I picked him up by the leg again and slammed him to the other side of me. I repeated that a few times before Lee escaped. He punched my in the chin sending me up in the air. I spun around in the air for a bit. Entering an Axe-kick position Lee saw this and blocked mid air with his arms. We were sent crashing to the ground. I jumped backwards. As did Lee.
He was taking off his weights, Quickly I took of mine which landed with a small thud. I ran towards lee, sprinting activated. I punched Lee just as he dropped them. Lee flipped in the air and landed perfectly on his feet. He was grinning. "You are indeed strong Kukui-kun. But you still have a long way to go to beat me. I'm not even at my best yet." Lee said grinning. I new he was right too. He could beat most jonin in part one with Taijutsu... not literally but he quite outclassed them there.
*THUD!*
They weren't as much as in the chunin exams, not by a long shot but still, I was scared. I felt a kick land on me I hurt a lot. I was kicked up in the air. Danger sense ringing. Lee was far faster than Hidan... I turned around and saw Lee. I stuck my foot out and he dodged. I quickly turned around and punched him I grabbed a kunai and cut bandages away before he could wrap me in them... I knew he couldn't do the lotus as it was fatal but he'd more than likely do something else
As we descended to the ground again I went to punch lee. He took the punch to the chest. but he grabbed my shoulders.
We began spinning in the air. He was now above me. Shit. He kicked me in the stomach, Hard. I was sent crashing into the ground. Harder. I felt my consciousness waning. I was going to pass out.
I heard Hayate say Lee was the winner. I then fell asleep

Konoha's gates were in sight. Home at last. He hadn't been in konoha for three years at that point. He was excited. He missed the sights, his sensei, the woman. Especially the woman. To him Konoha had the most beautiful ladies in the world but that wasn't the point. The point was that he was finally home.
He walked through the gates of konoha.
The gate guard, Kotetsu if he remembered correctly spoke up abesent mindedly. "Papers ple- Oh Jiraya-Sama! Your back! Uh why are you back?" The gate guard scrambled to his feet, trying to look like he had been doing something important for the last three hours
Jiraya let out a boisterous laugh. People like Kotetsu were why he enjoyed konoha so much. "Yes I the gallant Jiraya has returned! Sensei called for me back for an important reason so I must get going now" Jiraya said, walking away from the gate guard.
He had time before he had to talk to his sensei. He was sure he wouldn't mind him taking a peak at the lovely ladies of Konoha before He went to go talk to him. He was sure that could wait for just one research session. Suddenly a figure appeared behind him.
"I see your back sooner than expected Jiraya. You were going to head to my office immediately weren't you?" A voice said warmly yet sternly.
Jiraya turned around to see one Hiruzen sarutobi. "Hey Sarutobi-sensei! I uh was going to head to your office after getting requainted with the village. I wanted to see how the kid was doing first too" Jiraya lied smoothly. He felt like it was a perfect lie.
Hiruzen sighed. "You won't ever change won't you?" Hiruzen asked, probably reminiscing fondly on some old memories.
Jiraya grinned. "Never! Someone needs to make sure the people get what they want and for that too happen I'm going to need to do my research" Jiraya unashamedly admitted. The flame of lechers burned brightly within him. Hiruzen knew that. And he wasn't disappointed either... His student did indeed make high quality literature.
Hiruzen nodded in acceptance. " Well before you move onto your research. We have very important topics to discuss. You are needed in the council meeting as you are the only fuinjutsu master in konoha at the moment" Hiruzen explained.
Jiraya groaned. "Why do I have to be in a room with those geezers and all of those politics? Couldn't you just have the meeting without me?" Jiraya whined. He was one of the many who hated politics in life. It was part of the reason he didn't want to become Hokage. He was also just a free spirit. He didn't want to be confined to paperwork and depression until he found a successor.
Hiruzen nodded in the negative. "No we cannot. As our seal master you will need to be here since it regards Naruto" Hiruzen said knowing he got Jiraya with the mention of Naruto
Jiraya sighed. 'Fine if it involves Naruto then I'll be there" Jiraya said.
Soon both Hiruzen and Jiraya shinshined away

Fuck I hate this... Not this chapter I quite love most of it. But damn I hate today. I've been writing all day today. 10K today to be exact(Most of which will never see the light of day. It just ideas, scribbles, or potential plot bunnies.) Anyways I enjoyed this chapter. As for lee beating Kukui. He has been training for longer than canon with Gai. So he is stronger. Neji still beats him and Kukui. Anyways this was more of a fluff/relaxation chapter that has tidbits of story and plot. I think I have ideas for the next arc which will be another C-rank mission.
Anyways did you enjoy? I did. It was fun writing this chapter I think. I enjoyed making the genin seem more human. Its more fun then the team trauma bonding like they did over the fight with Hidan. Anyways I need a break so Imma finish this quickly.
