Now that Rosetta and Dino have openly confessed their feelings for each other, she has acquired a new resolve to truly locate her brother to make things right for a better future with him.

Unfortunately certain events unfolding in Namimori may require her immediate attention first

"Antonio, have we heard anything regarding the message about Nero that I sent to our fellow members?" Rosetta asked when encountering her uncle that day.

"I haven't received any replies yet, other than them saying they'll increase their search twofold as you have requested." He replied truthfully. He noticed the disappointed look she had adopted and continued, "You did send the message just this morning. What's gotten into you Rosetta? Before yesterday you were taking things more slowly and cautiously so as to not alert your brother. Did something happen…?"

The Mezzanotte boss blushed a little. "Nothing of great importance…" Antonio thought to question her further on the matter, but his niece had another pressing question. "Is there anything else that needs my attention then?"

"Oh, yes. I have an urgent report from our new post in Namimori…"

Rosetta sighed heavily upon hearing his statement. "What trouble has Reborn and his student gotten into this time…?"

"Well…it wasn't Reborn and his student per se…" her uncle answered, clearing his throat when he paused mid-sentence. "It was Squalo. He pursued Basil of CEDEF to Namimori and attacked him on Xanxus' order."

"But the Varia and CEDEF are both Vongola. Why would they attack their own?"

"The report details that Squalo was after the Vongola rings in Basil's possession. He succeeded in acquiring them, leaving a portion of Namimori's shopping district damaged and Basil - along with Tsunayoshi who jumped in to help - wounded. Dino was also sighted and managed to fend off Squalo before he could do any real harm to the boys." Antonio explained. "As far as I know, Tsunayoshi is supposed to inherit the rings because he was chosen by the ninth generation Vongola personally. Should we look into this and confront the Varia before things get too out of hand?"

"No. After all, it's highly doubtful that Squalo has the real article. If I remember the rumors correctly the leader of CEDEF can be quite cunning, so the real rings may be safe in another's hands." Rosetta replied with thought. "Still though this might turn out to be a war within Vongola's ranks, and as much as I want to help keep things from going in that direction, if Tsunayoshi is involved I can't interfere due to my agreement with Reborn. He didn't say anything about not being able to go observe these unfolding events in person though…"

Her uncle immediately picked up on what she was suggesting. "Very well. I shall arrange the next possible flight to Japan."
