Callie loved laying in bed with Arizona when they had nowhere to be and Sofia was at Meredith's for a sleepover. They both had today off, which Callie was very happy for, because she had a plan for how the rest of their day was going to go.

"So," Callie ran her hand over the bare skin of Arizona's side as they laid facing each other. They were both still a little out of breath from a round of pretty outstanding morning sex.

"So," Arizona said back with a dimpled smile.

"I'm not asking you to marry me today. I'm doing that on Thursday," Callie said with a bright smile on her face. "But Washington has a three day waiting period for marriage licenses."

"Wait," Arizona said as she sat up, the sheet pooling around her middle. "Why would we need the marriage license for Thursday?"

"Because I am going to ask you to marry me in the morning, and then we're going to get married that evening," Callie said before letting her eyes fall to the bare chest in front of her. "On what would be our five year wedding anniversary."

"Calliope Iphegenia Torres," Arizona whispered. It wasn't usual for Arizona to say Callie's full name but at this moment she couldn't say anything but. "You are awesome."

"You've rubbed off on me," Callie grinned. "We've got an appointment to get the marriage license, and then we're going to go pick out our rings together. I already set up an appointment for that too."

"How are we going to plan a wedding in three days though?" Arizona asked.

"Oh, we're not," Callie said, giving a slightly guilty look. "I already planned it?"

"Calliope!" Arizona laughed.

"Do you want to hear the plan for our wedding?" Callie asked.

"Nope," Arizona said before wrapping her arm around Callie's waist. "Just tell me the pregame for the day of?"

"You and I have it off. I already cleared it with Bailey. Friday to Monday too," Callie said. "We're going to spend the morning in bed and then make breakfast with Sofia. Then about two, you're going to stay here and get ready with April and Amelia and I'm going to Meredith's to get ready. They are going to drive us to where it's going to happen."

"I can't believe you planned all of this without me knowing," Arizona said before pressing open mouth kisses all over Callie's neck and collarbone.

"It was worth it for this reaction," Callie moaned.

"How much time do we have before we need to be out of the shower?" Arizona asked in a low voice.

"Enough time for another quick round in bed and a quicker one in the shower," Callie groaned.

"Then we better get to it," Arizona grabbed the blanket to pull it over their heads.

Arizona's right leg was bouncing non-stop as Amelia drove her and April to wherever the wedding was going to be held. All Callie had said about the venue was it was a place that meant something to them as a couple.

"Why are we at Joe's?" Arizona asked after Amelia parked the car.

"Because this is where you're getting married," Amelia said as she turned the car off.

"Joe's?" Arizona asked.

"It was where your second first date with Callie was. She thought it would be romantic," April said from the backseat.

"I love her so much," Arizona grinned as they got out of the car. She was dressed in a cream color dress that ended just below her knees with sleeves to her elbows. It didn't scream wedding dress, but she had the big fluffy white dress already.

When they walked into Joe's, it was clearer inside than Arizona had ever seen it before. All of their friends from the hospital were already there as music played from the jukebox.

"Mama!" Sofia called as she ran over dressed in a yellow dress and looking so much like Callie it made Arizona grin ever winder.

"Hi, big girl," Arizona said as she greeted her as Sofia wrapped her arms around her waist.

"You're getting married today!" Sofia looked up at her with a big grin.

"I know," Arizona smiled warmly at her daughter. "Where's Mommy?"

Sofia pointed toward the back. When Arizona's eyes caught sight of her very soon to be wife, she thought her heart might stop. Callie was dressed in a very light purple dress that fit like a glove and made Arizona want to skip to the honeymoon already.

"Amelia, can you watch Sofia for a minute?" Arizona asked as she already broke away from her daughter to cross the room.

"Hey," Callie grinned when she saw Arizona coming toward her.

"You look amazing, Calliope," Arizona said as she stopped only a foot away from Callie. "This is awesome. And perfect. And you are perfect."

Callie wrapped her arms around Arizona's waist and held her tightly. "I hoped you'd say that," she said before bending down to kiss Arizona firmly.

"Hey," Bailey called from across the room. "I have not said, 'you may kiss the bride' yet."

"Bailey is going to marry us?" Arizona asked once she pulled back.

"She got ordained online," Callie nodded. "Too much like the first time?" She worried.

"It's perfect," Arizona promised before leaning in to press her lips to Callie's ear. "You are getting so lucky tonight, Calliope."

Callie could only smile as she pulled back. The things she wanted to say to Arizona were best saved for later when there was no one around to hear. "Our parents are here. Well, your parents and my dad. But at this point that's all I'm counting on," She said.

Arizona rubbed her hand over Callie's arm. "He gets to watch this time."

"He does," Callie smiled.

"Are you two ready?" Bailey asked when she made her way over.

"Everyone is here," Callie confirmed after doing a quick headcount.

Bailey moved to stand on a stand they put by the bar with Callie and Arizona in front of her. Sofia ran over when her moms called her, a grin on her face.

"Everyone," Bailey called in her "I am Miranda Bailey and you better listen" voice.

Everyone turned and stood, so they could see the main event they were here for. Callie and Arizona with one hand in each other with the other holding Sofia's hands.

"Five years ago today a good many of us watched as these two women promised themselves to each other. I think I speak for everyone here when I say today is a day of joy seeing you two finally come to your senses and do it again," Bailey said to a round of cheers from the gathered guests and laughs from Callie and Arizona. "It is rare that life gives true second chances and rarer still that second chance is with the same person. I am honored to be a friend to these two incredibly wonderful and incredibly stubborn women," she smiled as they both ducked their heads. "Callie and Arizona have decided to write their own vows. Callie?"

Callie took in and let out a deep breath as she readied herself. "Seven years ago, you kissed me, and I haven't been able to get you out of my head since," she laughed at the blush that came to Arizona's face. "We have had ups and downs, shared wins and losses, and learned more about ourselves and each other in those seven years than some people learn in a lifetime. Through all of it I learned that love is not enough to make a marriage strong. It is the starting point. Marriage takes work. It takes waking up every morning and choosing the other. It takes grit and determination and want. I choose you, Arizona, yesterday, today, tomorrow, to spend the rest of my life with. I go in with my eyes open and my heart full. I love you. Te amo."

Arizona had to pull her hand out of Callie's for a moment to dry her eyes at her very soon to be wife's words. "Calliope," she said before having to clear her throat as she took her hand again. "Almost a year ago, I made the most important page of my life and paged you to an on-call to tell you that marriage equality was the law of the land. Somehow during that conversation, we managed to ask each other on a date. And after our third, I made some promises to you and asked for the same in return. I wanted us to stand shoulder to shoulder, to allow each other space to rant on bad days, to pull each other out of the darkness, and to laugh at things we once fought over," she said as she watched Callie nod that she remembered. "You saved my life, Calliope. Both literally and metaphorically. And for the rest of it, I promise to thank you in every kiss, in every dance, and every time I whisper te amo before we go to sleep. Loving you is the greatest adventure of my life, and one I am so thankful isn't over. Te amo."

Bailey had to dry her eyes before she went on. "Do you, Callie Torres, take this woman, Arizona Robbins, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do," Callie said with a grin.

"And do you, Arizona Robbins, take this woman, Callie Torres, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"Every day for the rest of my life, I do," Arizona beamed back at Callie.

"Sofia, is this alright with you?" Bailey asked the little girl.

"If I say yes, do I get ice cream?" Sofia asked her moms.

"Yes," Arizona and Callie laughed as they spoke at the same time.

"Then yes!" Sofia giggled.

Callie and Arizona put the rings they had picked out for each other, not quite the ones they had before, but still simple bands with diamonds along the edge, on each other's fingers.

"Then by the power vested in me by some place on the internet, I now pronounce you legally married," Bailey grinned. "Go on, kiss each other."

Callie and Arizona both laughed as they stepped forward to meet in the middle and kiss each other and their friends all cheered and howled around them.

"We did it," Arizona whispered against Callie's lips.

"We're wives," Callie said as soon as she pulled back. "Legal wives."

"The best kind," Arizona grinned.

Parents and friends alike took turns hugging and congratulating the brides as well as Sofia. There was food put out and dancing once the music was turned back on. Everyone around them laughed and shared stories of the brides and the hospital as a whole.

After almost two hours of dancing, Arizona went to the lady's room to put on some fresh lipstick. She was looking in the mirror when the door opened and closed behind her.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Peds right?"

"Something like that, yeah."

Arizona turned around with a smile and leaned against the sink as Callie stood by the door with a playful smile on her face.

"I'm Callie Torres, ortho surgery. I've seen you at the hospital," Callie said. She didn't stay by the door the way Arizona had on their first meeting. She walked forward until she was only a few feet from Arizona.

"I've seen you at the hospital too," Arizona laughed as she reached out for Callie.

Callie just stood her ground. "You know where we work people talk. They really like you there. I really like you being there."

"Do you?" Arizona crossed her arms over her chest.

"For the sake of being honest, I should tell you I know things about you?" Callie reached out to tuck a bit of hair behind Arizona's ear.

"Like what?" Arizona wondered.

"I know you have the most beautiful smile in the world. I know that you have five of the same scrub cap and refuse to change the style, because Tim bought you the original, and you bought the others in case something ever happens to it. I know you love cartoons nearly as much as our daughter. I know you are an amazing mom to said daughter. I know I love you," Callie grinned at her.

"If we're doing this under the banner of honesty, I should tell you I know things about you too," Arizona smiled. "I know you are the best big spoon in the whole world. And you are nearly non verbal until you have coffee. I know you sing under your breath anytime you drive anywhere even if it's a two minute drive. I know you are an awesome mom to our daughter. Oh, and I know I am crazy in love with you."

"You know all of that, do you?" Callie stepped closer.

"I do," Arizona said as she wrapped her arms around Callie's neck.

"You ready to get out of here?" Callie asked after bending down to kiss Arizona deeply.

"I think you'll know," Arizona whispered before pulling Callie out of the bathroom to head to the hotel room they had for the next four days.
