(A/N. hey guys second one in one day! hope you enjoy!)
The smell hit Persephone's nose before she fully woke. She sat up in bed and stretched, reaching beside her only to find the spot where Hades had been empty. Where'd that cub get too?
In her pajamas, she plotted to the smell, and could hear the faint sound of arguing growing louder. Persephone pushed open the door to the kitchen and had to cover her mouth to prevent laughter. Harry and Folly glared at each other, Harry had a spatula, where Folly had a wooden spoon. In Persephone opinion, the spoon looked far more scary than Harry's spatula. "Harry Potter sir be sitting down! This be Folly's work!"
"No. Folly leaves Harry alone. I started it, I can finish it!" They stared at each other until Persephone coughed alerting them both she was there. "your bacon is burning." Was all she said before both in a panic turned and together started to fix breakfast.
After breakfast had been saved they sat to eat, Folly after some strong convincing, made his own little table and sat at it eating with the family. It was the only compromise he was willing to make.

On the second morning an owl tapped at the window. Harry opened it and allowed the owl to hop it, lifting it's leg to Harry. He took the letter and the owl hopped back out the window before flying away. It was addressed to him. He opened the letter and began to read. He slowly went pale as he did so and Persephone walked up beside him. "What's up Harry?" Harry handed her the note.
Mr Harry Potter
My name is Amelia Bones. Head of the DMLE. I received aessage from deputy headmistress professor McGonagall, in regards to a recent visit to saint mungos. This was a formal inquiry to investigate an accusation of abuse from your muggle relatives. I would like to meet on boxing day if you are willing. If not let me know when you are free. I will make it as smooth and easy for you as possible.
Regards Amelia Bones Director of the DMLE
Persephone handed the letter back and gave Harry's shoulder a squeeze. "It'll be ok. Hades and I will be there with you." When Harry's face didn't brighten Persephone hummed, then she snapped her fingers. "We need to do our Christmas shopping!" Harry scratched the back of his head. "I don't have any money Persephone…" she waved him off with a smile. "Sure you do Harry. You just might not be able to get it right now, but I'm sure Madame Tonks can help with that. But I can cover you til then. We'll need to write to Tonks and find out when they can go." Folly coughed softly to get their attention. "Folly can take a message for you." They both gave her a smile.
Soon Harry had a reply for Amelia Bones, and Persephone had a message for the Tonks's. Folly quickly took the message for the Tonks's, and Hedwig took off into the late morning sky. Folly popped back a few moments later and gave Persephone a letter. "Tonks says, to open the floo and they can get us in about ten minutes. But I don't know how to do that exactly." After a few moments of explanation from Folly, they opened the floo and called to the Tonks's house. Tonks came through a moment later. "Wotcher hatchlings." She gave a grin. "Ready to go?" Harry pulled on his patchy jacket and nodded. Persephone gave Tonks a look as she pulled on her own jacket. "I think so. We need to get a few gifts and I need to pick up more equipment for the teams. Are you willing to take us to Harrods too?" Tonks gave a big grin. "I love that place! Hope you kids are ready to shop til you drop!"

Harry was panting by the time they got back to the Tonks home. "If I never see a department store again I will be a happy kid." The two girls gave a wink to each other and packed away all the shopping. Tonks shrunk all the uniforms and equipment for the school. Then helped Persephone put the rest of the gifts and secret clothes for Harry into her new bottomless bag. "Thank you for the trip Tonks. We'll see you on Christmas for dinner right?" The three Tonks gave her a grin and a nod.
They stepped through the flames and went straight to the tables where a fresh hot basket of fish and chips waited for them. "I never knew shopping was so tiring." Persephone chuckled. "Yes, yes it is." Harry took his bags from Persephone with a tired smile and quickly took them to his room, having to rush back and grab the paper, tape and scissors with a Cheshire grin. "Bring the tape and scissors back when done yeah? So I can wrap mine." She called after him as he rushed away again. "You got it!" And she heard his door close.
Harry came back and hour later grumbling about stupid paper and it being a demon in disguise. He gently tossed the tape and scissors onto the plush chair and groaned. "Wrapping gifts sucks." Was all he said. Persephone rolled her eyes and took her own paper roll and laid it down on the floor. "You can see all but your own." She spoke simply and began to wrap the gifts. Harry stood mesmerized by her technique. "How do you do that?!" She laughed softly and gestured for him to join her. "Here I'll show you."
After a few moments Harry was able to wrap the gift with only minor issues. "Wow. That's actually not that hard." Persephone hummed. Soon all but Harry's gifts had been wrapped and she shood him away. he grumbled and left the room saying something about a snack. Quickly persphone pulled out all of Harry's new clothes and wrapped them. Then his actual gift. I wonder if there's a tree somewhere. She thought to herself. Perhaps Folly would know.
