Because she wasn't fatally wounded and partially healed herself during the battle, Rosetta only had to stay in the hospital for a couple more days. Even so she still spared no expense in fulfilling her duties as boss, as she saw to the preparations of Nero's transport to Italy and spoke at length with Dino about the child they had accidentally conceived.
Ultimately they decided that because Rosetta was not yet married she would hide her pregnancy from others who didn't know by using mist flames for the time being, and once the child was born they would decide what their next step should be.
When she'd finally been released, the first place Rosetta went to was the middle school rooftop.
As soon as she stepped out she heard Hibari ask a bit irritatingly, "Why have you come back here?"
"I came to apologize." She replied simply, turning to face the young man.
"I don't need your apologies and I don't like being indebted to anyone." The stoic male stated stiffly. "So you'll be doing me a favor by forgetting about it and leaving."
He then turned to walk away but Rosetta still had more to say. "Even so I still feel that it was my fault so I must take responsibility."
"You already paid my hospital bill."
The Mezzanotte boss was taken aback by Hibari's comment. As far as she knew he was supposed to be told that the payment was anonymous, so how did he find out?
"You've done enough. You're an annoyance. Leave me in peace."
Rosetta sighed with defeat, figuring that was all the stubborn young man had to discuss and let the topic go. "Oh, one more thing though," she said. "I'm hosting one more banquet before I lea-."
"Not interested." The male replied quickly while stalking away, leaving Rosetta who could only chuckle in response.
Later that day everyone gathered at the Mezzanotte boss' place for the banquet she had invited them all to, just like before. However instead of Rosetta doing all of the cooking, everyone was asked to bring something to share, sort of like a pot luck. All who'd attended enjoyed good food and company even Gokudera, who was still a bit edgy around Rosetta.
The banquet lasted well into the night and then the following day it was time for Dino, Rosetta and company to depart.
"Um…Will it be okay, traveling with Nero I mean?" Tsuna asked the Mezzanotte boss anxiously with a hushed tone.
"Don't worry. We'll be fine. I'm flying in a private plane, so no innocents will be in danger." The brunette replied reassuringly. "I also took extra precautions in specially locking him up and sedating him, so he shouldn't be waking up until we've touched down in Italy."
The Vongola boss in training relaxed in response but when he smiled she could tell there was something else on his mind.
"Worried about something else?" She suddenly asked, making him flinch slightly.
"Ah! N-No…" he replied quickly, his cheeks turning light pink.
Rosetta thought about pushing a little to get an answer out of him but thought it wasn't that important to actively pursue so she dropped it. Instead she smiled and pat his shoulder before saying, "Make sure you take care of yourself, Tsuna-kun. Remember I still have a presence here so if you cause a ruckus I'll know."
He tensed up and nodded quickly, looking a little scared which made her chuckle. "I'll see you around, Tsuna-kun."
And with that she left, promising she'd return to drop in and check on everyone more frequently.
