Chapter 15

"Not everyone will understand your journey. That's fine. It's not their journey to make sense of. It's yours." -Dean Winchester (Zero Dean, 2013).

Sam watched as his brothers pulled back into the driveway. He hoped that Jamie had been registered for the magic school in America. One thing that he wondered is what name his younger brother used to register, did he use his birth name, or the name he was given when he was taken in by James and Lily. This was something that Sam had lost sleep over, wondering if his brother truly accepted that he was a Winchester, and not a Potter.

Dean got out of the Impala first, and Jamie followed after a slight moment of hesitation. "Come on, bud," Dean stated, smiling at his younger brother. Jamie smiled at Dean, but he had not stopped thinking about the conversion from earlier in the day, Dumbledore was the one that killed his birth-mother. Voldemort existed because of Dumbledore. Also the fact that the angel Castiel could break someone out of jail. That gave him hope that the angel would protect Dean and Sam when he was not able to. Jamie grabbed the broom out of the backseat, and passed it to his brother. Once again, he wondered why the first time Dean touched the broom, it summoned the angel.

From the way that Castiel had made it sound, it seems like if they stopped Dumbledore, then the future that was foretold would not come to pass. Something that had haunted Jamie's mind was, if they did not kill Dumbledore, then what would happen to the world that he had loved last year, and the people that he had started to love and trust this summer? That thought haunted him, like the ghosts that roamed the halls of Hogwarts.

Dean opened the door, and Sam greeted his brothers. Jamie smiled at his older brothers interacting with each other. But the thing the angel said about Sam having Demon blood in his bloodstream bothered Jamie.

"Hey, Sam. Would you mind going through a purification and purging ritual?" Jamie asked his older brother. Dean looked at Jamie and nodded.

"Why do I need to go through a purge?" Sam asked.

"Well we know that I have had potions and spells on me, who knows if you have as well, and that can really hinder your magic. I am wondering if you have spells or potions that block your core," Jamie told his brother. He felt bad for slightly lying to his brother, but he was mostly being truthful.

"Yeah, let's do it, can we do it here?" Sam asked.

"Yes, but we will need both Dad and Bobby," Jamie replied, nodding at Dean, who left the room to call the men, as well as stop himself from telling Sam the truth.

"Why do we need them?" Sam asked.

"I know the ritual, but it needs a parental figure, and a blood sibling, and also a chanter, and Bobby will have to help get the supplies," Jamie stated. Sam nodded, and went to his room, and shut the door, and Dean came back into the room.

"I hate to lie to Sam but I would rather him not learn about this. He would be disgusted by himself," Dean stated. Jamie just nodded, and started to get up, and walked towards the ritual room of the house.

"We might also want to see if we can get Castiel, the angel to join us, he can help us power the ritual," Jamie instructed Dean, who just nodded. Dean followed his youngest brother, and Jamie started to prep the room, by drawing the appropriate sigils. The ritual was pretty complex, and needed a lot of power behind it. Dean put his back against the wall, and started to try the people that they needed. He started with John. John picked up the first ring for Dean, and Dean put him on speaker.

"Hey Dad, you are on speaker," Dean remarked.

"What's wrong Dean?" John asked, not beating around the bush at all.

"Jamie and I want to do a purification ritual on Sammy, because of what happened when we were kids."

"Ok, have you called Booby yet?" John asked, already knowing the how and why.

"No, we figured you were the furthest one, speaking of which, where are you?" Dean informed their father.

"I am about 2 hours outside Waco, and will be there soon. If you call Bobby and get his location, and he is close, I will swing by and pick him up."

"All right, you got it Dad, and by the way, we got Jamie registered for magic school here in the States, and we met an Angel, who we may ask to help with the ritual, and healing Sammy afterwards."

"Aright, I am not saying I believe you, but I will see with my eyes. Text me Bobby's coordinates."

"Alright, drive safe." Dean hung up with John and called Bobby.

"Hey Bobby, you are on speaker, Jamie is in the room with me," Dean stated.

"What do you idjits want?" A gruff voice answered.

"Where are you?" Dean asked.

"I'm in Clifton Texas, why?"

"Dad is coming to get you, we are doing a purification ritual on Sammy," Dean responded.

"Aright, see you idjits later," Bobby replied, and hung up on Dean, and Dean texted their Dad the coordinates for Bobby.

"Alright, Mr. Magic," Dean teased his brother, "How do I call this Angel?"

"I would just pray to him, and really, Mr. Magic, is that the best you can do?" Jamie snarked back at his brother.

"Okay, okay, okay, so that was not my best, but I will come up with a good nickname for you, and okay, so how does praying work?" Dean asked.

"I assume that you just say the name of the being that you are praying to and ask what you need," Jamie replied. "I have no clue how it works for Christains, I am Pagen."

"Fun, I am Agnostic," Dean replied.

"Castiel, It is Dean from earlier, I was wondering if you could pop to our location and help us with a purification and purging ritual for Sam. It would mean the world to me if you could, we are doing it in about two and a half hours. Okay, thanks." Dean prayed awkwardly. Jamie smiled, and just nodded at Dean. There was a rush of wind, and a figure appeared behind Dean.

"Hello, Dean," The angel stated, and put his hand on Dean's shoulder.
