Prologue part 3 : ,,Come"
,,Come". That was something that Shinji Ikari did not expect to see today . It was Monday . Shinji just woke up under the familiar ceiling that was in his room . During the last 11 years his room changed a bit . The old storage room alongside a desk futon TV set and a Shelf that contained most of Shinji's stuff . Shinji added a lot of anime and motorcycle posters. On the TV they were laying Shinji's favorite NEWTYPE magazine issues. On the desk there was also standing Shinji's Laptop , that he used to make Custom hud's , paying bills , ordering parts and was used to watching ,,The Bōsōzoku News" program that was only available on ,,Special Sites" . Shinji woke up to the sound of an alarm clock . After dressing up in his favorite pair of jeans , white t-shirt , red NIKE sneakers and his purple motorcycle jacket Shinji took his backpack and made his way to the kitchen . Shinji made himself a Cyclops toast , taking a can of frozen coffee and putting the morning news on the TV when he heard the doorbell .
'Who the hell comes this early ?'- Shinji thought as he made his way to the door . As he opened the door he saw the mailman .
" ?"- The mailman asked
"Yes ?"- Shinji asked as he was curious who could write to him ? His bastard old man ?
"Please sign here"- The mailman said as he handed him the papers. Shinji signed the papers as the mailman handed him the mail . after that he let out a "goodbye" and left as Shinji closed the door
"Tokyo 3 ?"- Shinji asked no one in the room as he read it on the envelope . So it was his bastard father ?
As Shinji opened the envelope he saw papers with the logo of an organisation called NERV . He only heard about NERV from TV and Kei , Since Kei was a member of WILLE they we're fighting a Guerilla warfare with NERV . As he saw the first paper it was reading the address of NERV hq and had only three only three words
,,Come-Gendo Ikari"
"Come Come COME ?! AFTER 11 FUCKING YEARS THIS IS ALL HE WRITES ?!"-Shinji screamed as he started checking other things that were in the envelope. There were also a few other things as he started reading the other paper that was in the envelope . as the started reading
"on the fourth of may 2015 on wednesday . You will be waiting at the Atami train station . On the hour of 19:00 you will be picked up by Captain Misato Katsuragi and brought to the Geofront on the hour 20:00" -
. Shinji read as he took the photo of the mentioned captain and saw a purple haired woman sticking out to the camera in a Yellow shirt on shoulder straps that was showing her ``Quite Impressive" bust and blue short shorts . The photo was reading ,,``To Shinji-kun for reference" and a drawn arrow that was pointing at her chest written ,,``Focus on these '' and a kiss print . Among the papers there were also Shinkansen tickets and transfer papers to ,,Tokyo 3 public high school" Shinji who took the papers in the envelope and put it into his backpack as he closed the door and made his way to the parking lot. As he put the code and his bike came before him he ignited the bike as he made his way to school . He also took his SDAT as the track #4 started playing

As Shinji was vibing to the song he finally reached the school building . ,,The Eighth District Youth Vocational Training Public High School'' . Since there was a big shortage in terms of schools, the students that lived in the 8th district were assigned here both male and female . The building was a reused college building that was mostly dilapidated and graffiti covering most of the walls . The classes were in even worse condition as cracked windows and broken desks were a thing . The school's purpose was to train punks and delinquents like himself . But since Shinji became a member of Kichirou his penalty points were erased . That means he was clear like a tear. Also Shinji was one of the few students that actually cared for his education . Since teachers noticed it they let a lot of things he did slide since they wanted at least one student to come out with education from this dumpster fire of a school . The first lesson was coming to an end as probably tired of life teacher said
"All right, brats , take your tests and see the results''- the teacher said as he knew no one studied except Shinji and few girls studied . Shinji took his test and saw the result .
'100 out of 100 , Just like always'-Shinji thought as he lit a cigarette. The teacher wanted to say something but he stopped at the last second . He knew that this was Ikari he was looking onto . The best student in the whole school . As the bell rang Shinji made his way to the principal's office to give him the transfer papers . As he was waiting he could hear someone scream "DISCIPLINE !" and 4 juicy punches and then a scream that said "DISMISSED" and followed by a forced "thank you very much sir" . And then he saw Kaneda Tetsuo Yamagata and Kaisuke coming out of the office with severe bruises on their faces
"YOU LOSER ! ME AND I ARE GONNA GO ONE DAY !"- Kaneda screamed as he noticed Shinji
"Hey Shin , what are you doing here ? You're finally gonna get some discipline ?" - Kaneda said as he noticed the papers that Shinji was holding .
"What are those ?"- Tetsuo asked as he noticed the papers .
"I will tell you on the long break , now i need to get in" - Shinji said as he got into principal's office
The principal's office was probably the cleanest in the whole school . And probably the only one that looked ,,normal".
"What do you need ?"- The principal asked as he probably was really tired after dealing with a motorcycle gang . Shinji just put the transfer papers as the old man put on his glasses and started reading .
" Are you transferring to Tokyo 3 ?" - Principal asked as he knew Shinji was too much a good student for this school
"That is correct i'm moving so please sign those papers "- Shinji said while trying to fake the best smile he could . The principal signed the papers and gave them back to Shinji .
"Congratulations Ikari"- that was all the principal said as Shinji left back to the class . The lessons came and went as the long break started . Shinji was standing on the roof smoking a cigarette as he waited for Kaneda and Tetsuo . As the duo finally came, Shinji threw the cigarette off the roof.
"So Shin , what's going on ?"-Kaneda asked as Shinji gave them the letter .
"Wait, you're moving ?! Like for real ?"-Tetsuo asked as his face showed both shock and sadness
"Not forever , just want to check what he wants from me . probably wants to use me "- Shinji said as he was trying to cheer up his friend.
"It will be hard without you , but remember that you still will retain your role in the gang . We will try to keep everything intact but without your expertise it will be hard to keep the bikes intact"- Kaneda said as he knew that the gang would enter a dark time . Even if he was the leader he wasn't doing anything alone . Him Shinji and Takuro we're always the backbone that took care of business . And after Takuro's death both him and Shinji mobilized the gang to find the killer . And after the death of Katsuhiro, Shinji was always thinking about and helping the gang . So Kaneda felt sadness that his buddy would leave even for a short period of time.
"Relax guys , i'm sure you can keep everything intact without me"-Shinji said as he pulled his friends into a bear hug
"We need to make a farewell party , just 5 of us . We need to spend that last day together"-Kaneda said as the trio started making its way back to the classroom. Rest of the Lessons came and went as Shinji made his way to the locker room with a trash bag as he knew what would come from his locker . As he opened the door a ton of letters fell straight to the trash bag. Shinji knew that he had to take the back door so the girls wouldn't notice him . Shinji left the trash bags next to the door as he heard Kaneda's former girlfriend scream at him for not paying child support . The only sentence he could hear was "RAISING KIO TAKES A LOT OF MONEY YOU'RE OBLIGATED TO PAY !" . As Shinji made his way to the parking lot and to his bike he could already see the girls coming and after noticing it he knew what was going to happen
"Hello Shinji-kun ! Are you free this evening ?"
"Shin-chan ! How about going to a club tonight ?"
And several of those types of questions that Shinji ignored as he ignited his bike and made his way to Tsukujicho 2 . After reaching the workshop he opened the door as he made the way into the workshop part of the warehouse . After opening up the workshop's facebook page he typed that the shop will be closed for an unknown time . Before leaving the warehouse Shinji gazed at the patch box . He knew that he could use them , so he took all of the patches and put them into his backpack . Before closing the door Shinji looked at the warehouse as a tear formed in his eye.
"Sayonara , at least for now"- Shinji said as he closed the warehouse and made his way to Kichirou's HQ . After half an hour later he finally reached the exclusive restaurant . Shinji used the back door and after showing his protection card he used the elevator and rode to the highest floor . As Shinji saw sitting in the VIP spot he gave Shinji a real smile as Shinji sat on a chair
"Shinji , what can I do for you young man ?"- Rai asked as Shinji gave him the letter
"Oh i see , your leaving the city ?"- Rai asked as he knew Shinji had a rough time for the last 10 months .
"Yes and I was asking if I could leave ? I'm eternally glad for everything you did for me . But i want to - Shinji wanted to finish as Rai stopped him mid sentence
"You want to be free . So you can be your own man and finally accomplish what you always wanted , and accomplish your dream that was always becoming a pro biker and winning MotoGP ? I know that Katsuhiro would want this so I will discharge you from your job . But in the borders of the city you're still under protection . Also you can sleep safe and sound since i will be paying your bills from now your assets will be under strict protection from now on'' - Rai said as he saw Shinji's speechless expression he knew that it worked.
"Thank you Mr Kichirou ! But there is also one last thing i wanted to ask you before leaving " - Shinji asked as Rai's face went curious .
"What do you want to ask me young man ?" - Rai asked as Shinji whispered in his ear . Rai probably knew the answer as he maked a call using a phone that was standing next to him
"Wangan race in the sewers tomorrow 21:00 , Organise it and send the messages to the leaders"-Rai said as he hung up the phone and took Shinji into a hug . After giving him the information about how to pay bills Shinji was preparing to go to the elevator, Rai wanted to say something to him .

That was the last thing that Shinji heard from Rai Kichirou as another tear was forming in his eye . After leaving the restaurant Shinji got a phone call , it was Kaneda.
"yes ?"
"SHIN ?! HOW DID YOU MADE THAT THERE'S A RACE TOMORROW EVENING ?!- Kaneda asked as he was pretty surprised . That voice tone made Shinji smile .
"I asked for a farewell race , and he said yes . After tomorrow's race you , me Tetsuo Kaori and Kei are heading straight to my place for our farewell party -Shinji said
"Well see you tomorrow Shin ! I hope that you will give us a great show !"-Kaneda said as Shinji made his way back to the apartment for some well deserved sleep .
Most of the next day came and went as Shinji did not have to go to school since he was already transferred. He spent most of his day playing video games and watching anime . But when the hour 20:30 came to his mind he turned off everything and dressed up in his purple biker suit . except his purple jacket that has been dyed in the washing machine so it was no more useful to him . And his iconic purple goggles with yellow glass as the track #5 started playing in his ears

As Shinji finally got to the starting line he was not expecting such a public . Somewhere around 200 people were there alongside 50 bikes standing next to the start/finish straight . And just like always the The Bōsōzoku News crew was there since they were recording almost every race in Japan . Everyone knew that Neogoyan's long highway stretches and tight city corners alongside Tokyo 3's mountain roads and mega long super straight highways were the most interesting races in the country . As Shinji made way between crowd he could hear the applause of the crowd like
"WE LOVE YOU STAR !" and "COME ON KICK THEIR ASSES !" alongside that he could hear bookmakers taking bets and that people put most of their money on him . Shinji made his way to where Kaneda Tetsuo Kaori and Kei we're standing .
"Hey guys !" - Shinji said as he jumped off his bike and High-fived Kaneda and Tetsuo and said hello to Kaori and Kei .
"Hey Shin ! , looks like you have a tight competition tonight"- Kaneda said as he looked on to the Start finish straight where four other bikes . Shinji knew all of them since he worked on them and knew what parts he used
1- a custom british green Ducati 916 with a cfn N2O set and chiptuning
2- a metallic white and blue Suzuki TL1000S with chiptuning and a 2-wheel drive
3-a dark blue and orange Kawasaki ZX-11 with NOS N2O kit just like Shinji and customized body work
4- a black and red 1990 aprilia af1 with an Engine swap for a turbocharged vtec powered heavy modified Cbr400's inlline 4 that made around 203 horsepower. All the bikes we're equipped with Shinji's trademark cyberpunk style hubcaps.
"How about you ? your not racing "- Shinji asked as kaneda left out a sigh
"I thought that i would stick to watching tonight also"-Kaneda whispered to Shinji's ear
"Kei would kill me " - Kaneda said
"What was that ?!"- Kei asked in annoyance of her boyfriend's actions
"Nothing Nothing"-Kaneda said as Kei put her hand on Shinji's arm
"Shinji your smart but going in a race like this is just plain suicide"- Kei said worried as Shinji put his thumb up smiled and jumped on his bike .
"They won't beat me because i'm the best , also that i know the limits of their machines "-Shinji said as he putted his trademark smirk
"Good luck Shinji-kun" - Said Kaori as Shinji put up another thumb up as he drove on the start finish straight he started thinking 'confidence, a fool's substitute for intelligence' as he ignited the nos kit and checked his custom hud . Since touch screens were expensive and rare after the second impact, almost all of the functions Shinji had to add by using classic buttons and switches . After he flipped two switches a reused gps that was standing next to the nos counter showed all 3 stages he had for use. After that Shinji used another switch as the hud screen showed the words ,,TWO-WHEEL DRIVE SWITCHED ON"
"Come on guys it started"-Tetsuo said as Kaneda and the rest looked at the laptops screen and then on the start/finish straight.
'Welcome to the Bōsōzoku news ! I'm your host TJ and we're back in Neogoya tonight ! This time our eyes are gonna witness porn of illegal street racing . This track is made out of mostly tight city sections and loooooong wangan styled highway parts . In the end it all comes to the drag part in the sewers that will require the best top speed. Now let's get to the race shall we !. Just before a sexy girl wearing a sports bra and shorts came before the bikes Shinji put the SDAT earbuds and track #7 started playing

As the girl with a checkered flag standed before them she put one of her hands in the sky .And then two words came that Shinji was waiting for .
"Ready ? . Go !"- As she swung her flag . All five of them speeded off as Shinji was pulling out in front of Aprilla and Suzuki as he found himself in 3rd place . Before leaving the sewers and jumping on two streets .Shinji floored the gas as they found themselves on one of the main streets of the city . Shinji's bike danced like a ballerina while dodging the cars . At least there won't be any cops since Kichirou had almost the entire police force under their belt . Shinji stopped thinking about that and he focused on the race . There was now a sharp left corner and Shinji smirked behind his goggles and pile of ash on his face
'Chance'- Shinji thought as he knew exactly what to do as he went a little bit closer to the sidewalk as he passed the Ducati and found himself behind the leading Kawasaki . As they entered the highway Shinji decided to draft to the Kawasaki as he knew that psychological trick and that thanks to aerodynamics Shinji knew that it buyed him time before he would use his hidden weapon . The NOS display said ,,STAGE 1 COMPLETE'' and with a press of a button Shinji finally overtook the second win candidate as they were riding on the highway straight for 10 minutes . as they were riding from the highway back to the streets Shinji noticed that the Kawasaki finally used its NOS . Everyone would be worried and pissed except for an experienced racer like Shiniji.
'Too soon Junior'- Shinji's mind quoted a popular movie . As they finally made it back on the streets . Shinji was taking his time activating the last two stages . He simply played with the guy until they were back in the sewers for the last quarter mile . Shinji finally activated the last two stages and he retook the first position . He also showed his rival a peace sign with his right arm as he speeded the start/finish straight as he pressed hard on the brakes doing a slide . Witch entirely blew up the public with gigantic applause. As Shinji finally jumped out from his bike doing the ,,Speed Racer'' pose
''THAT BASTARD SHIN HAS DONE IT AGAIN !"- Kaneda screamed as he runned to Shinji and started cebelating . When Shinji Kaneda and others were celebrating two men on the bridge where standing smoking cigarettes watching the celebration .
"If he will pilot the eva as well as riding a motorcycle the angels are good as dead"- A man with a ponytail said as he looked on the another man with short hair and moustache
"You sure he will be your sleeping agent Kaji ? I smell some trouble with his ,,behaviour"- Said the other man
"I'm sure that he will do what you need Rye . If he hates his father so much he will take any chance to make his life miserable"- Kaji said as he knew that Shinji's role in Commander Ikari's scenario was shattered .
"Well if you will have a ocasion give him this"- Rye said as he gave Kaji a bugchip.
"It's a new NERV prototype . It injects straight to the body , if Ikari bugs his father we will have all the information we need '' - Rye said as the party that was under them was leaving . After 20 minutes Shinji and his friends we're all back in his apartment . As Shinji spent some time with his friends he was talking about why he was leaving . It caused mixed reactions between the quartet.
"You're going to NERV ?!"- Kei asked with a mix of fury, shock and disbelief.
"Shinji but why are you going ? I thought your father did not care about you ?"- Kaori asked as Shinji was always telling the story of how he abandoned him on the train tracks.
"Not forever but I want to see what my old man wants from me . Probably he wants to use me for something " - Shinji said as he knew that his father probably did not care for him and thinks he is just a tool that is easy to manipulate.
"Well since it's midnight we need to get going . So at least let's have a toast"-Kaneda said as he took his can of soda and put it in the air .
"for eternal friendship !''- Everyone in the room said as everyone tapped the cans. It was time for farewells. Shinji Hugged both Kei and Kaori and shaked hands with Kaneda and Tetsuo .
"Just promised to call ok ?"-Kaneda asked as Shinji put on his trademark smirk .
"Yep I'll promise"-Shinji said as the quartet left the apartment . Shinji wanted to cry but he knew that it was unnecessary . Shinji finally drifted to slumber . He woke up the next day at 9:00 . He packed his favorite clothes and all of the patches alongside his laptop and school accessories. At 15:30 Shinji left his apartment . He finally closed the door as tears formed in his eyes . He finally took his bike and drove to the highway entrance . As he drove through 2 prefectures he finally saw the sign
"HIGHWAY EXIT - ATAMI"
