Chapter 4 : Shamshel
Another week passed as Shinji finally got fully used to his new life . After he met Aimi again Shinji started his search for Takuro's killer in Tokyo 3 , he asked people from the underground . But most of the answers he heard were ,,Nah sorry bro" and ,,Never saw this plate in my life". Shinji finally woke up as the alarm clock was making him more annoyed than his father's existence. on the hour 08:00 Shinji was finally ready to go as he left breakfast for Misato who was currently in the bathroom
"Leaving"-Shinji said as he left the finally left the bathroom as she took an envelope that contained most of Shinji's information from The Marduk Institute . It was mostly things like his birth certificate and his criminal record . Misato was reading out loud his criminal record
"property damage , beating , draining fuel , 220 km/h in a built-up area , theft ,Yare Yare . Wow , just wow . Many adults don't have such a colorful criminal record but you ?"- Misato said as she kept reading as she found out that the last misdemeanor was noted in june 2014 . Misato kept searching the papers as her face showed dissatisfaction that she didn't found the information she was looking
"Hundreds of papers and not a single note about Takuro Hiei , it will take more than NPD record too find information" - Misato said as she took her cellphone and called Ritsuko that was currently working on the MAGI

"Hey Rits , can you find me information on something ?"

"Damn it ! I still need to search about that "- Misato said as the only information she could use would be Shinji's notebook . The only problem is that Shinji protected it more than the Secret Service protected Kennedy. Meanwhile Shinji decided to make a stop at the Gun Store . The 21A he used for a long time was pretty outdated and since Shinji's NERV card allowed him to buy firearms he finally could get a new pistol legally and not from smugglers or WILLE that was selling expensive stolen prototypes . Kaneda once got a laser rifle from Kei and they were doing a shooting contest on the highway targeting the clowns' motorcycles. Shinji entered the store as the man behind the counter standed before him
"Hey you're too young to be here"- the owner said as Shinji showed him his NERV card . As the man finally let Shinji through as he made his way back behind the counter . Shinji was always an admirer of italian guns so a new Beretta was a certainty . Also he had only 40 minutes to get to school so had to be quick. After a few seconds he finally found what he was looking for . Beretta Px4 Storm subcompact , a 9x19 mm parabellum with efficiency that Shinji needed . After he saw what he was looking for he came to see the man behind the counter
"A Beretta Px4 subcompact with 5 packs of 9x19 bullets"-Shinji said as the man got him the box and packs
"65 000"- the man said as Shinji put the NERV credit card on the terminal . After he left the store he took out the gun and loaded it before switching the safety on and putting it in the holster . After he got to school the day became as mundane as it could . He and Kensuke kept talking about new motorcycles and got into fiery discussions like "CBR or VFR ?" . Also his ,,Relationship" with Rei grew as their conversations became longer as they went from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. It was after the lessons that the day took a major twist . Him , Rei , Kensuke and Touji and the class representative Hikari made their way out of the school . Behind the wall some of the Final year students were looking as they clench their fists
"It's him"- Said one of them
"But he is in a company , it's too riskful to attack him now"-Said another one
"Yeah , a nerd , a two-shotter and two girls . and one that is broken . We have to high ground here"- Said another one as he grabbed Shinji by the shoulders and put him up on the wall
"HEY !"- Touji screamed as he prepared to make a punch as he got one shotted from one of the students
"SUZUHARA !"- Hikari screamed as Kensuke jumped in front of her and Rei .Shinji's brain made a quick plan what to do
"Stay away from our chicks Ikari" - Said one of them
"Those are our material"- Said another one as Shinji smirked and lit up a cigarette
"And now you show why girls are into younger boys"-Shinji said before he kicked his tormentor in the face before jumping in between the two groups . As the final year students ran to get him Shinji took out his Berretta and switched out the safety

One of the students got shot through the right shoulder muscle . As the facial expressions of both groups went white . Shinji knew where he needed to shoot to not have no one on consciencience .
"FUUUCK !"- The shot student screamed as he laid on the ground . Shinji gave a few shots on the ground as students jumped and one of them pissed down his pants as a stain formed on his trousers .
"Next series will go into your heads . Get out of my sight , now"-Shinji said as the students including the injured one runned away . Everyone's eyes except Rei's widened as Shinji putted his Berretta back in the holster
"Ikari , YOU SHOT HIM !"- Hikari screamed with her hand on her face
"Shinji , i know that your allowed to do that but you went a bit extreme"- Kensuke said as he was holding a knocked out Touji
"Brother did that only in self-defense . Also the students would be restrained for 48 hours for attacking a NERV soldier . Also the NERV card allows him to take away life"-Rei said as robotic as it could be mistaken for a Wikipedia article. Rei finished as Hikari looked at her with a shocked facial expression.
"YOU ARE ALLOWED TO KILL ?! THAT'S A GRAVE SIN !"- Hikari screamed as Shinji finished his cigarette and looked at the freckled girl
"God is dead and Neogoya is a proof of that"-Shinji said as both he and Rei got an SMS on their NERV-issued phones
"Emergency meeting in the Geofront, we need to go brother"-Rei said as they both runned to the parking lot . Rei got to the Section 2 car while Shinji took his bike and speeded off to the Geofront . Shinji was informed that another Angel codenamed Shamshel was making his way to Tokyo 3 . Shinji was sitting in his new blue plugsuit in the eva cage observing the titan . Since Sachiel Shinji and Ritsuko got to work to make the Eva more accustomed to Shinji's liking . Shinji printed out and put on his ,,Highway Star" decals on the Eva so it looked more like someone put graffiti on it . On the thighs two holsters were installed to permanently hold two Eva pistols . Also a new progressive weapon was developed by Shinji and Ritsuko . The Progressive Sword-mace that became Eva 01 main progressive weapon resting on the back with two progresive knives redirected to be secondary weapons. As Shinji was observing the Eva he heard the voice of Makoto Hayuga from behind the speakers
"Eva 01 launching in 15 minutes "- Shinji heard as he finished a cigarette and made his way to Eva 01 as he saw Rei looking at him
"Good luck brother"-Rei said as Shinji runned to the entry plug screaming "Thanks !" and showing a thumbs up as she returned to reading her book "SIBLING RELATIONSHIPS IN A NUTSHELL".
"B type harmonics on , synchronisation level 75 percent"- Maya Ibuki said as Ritsuko observed it stunned as to how his sync ratio can grow so fast . Meanwhile Shinji was sitting in the Entry plug
'It feels so calm here, like being held by a mother. Like she is here right now'-Shinji thought as temporary his brain showed him a white space . Shinji looked at himself and noticed that his clothing changed to his biker suit and noticed a woman wearing a white medical apron . Just before Shinji could ask something his train of thought was cut by Misato
"Shinji ? Shinji ? SHINJI ?!"-Misato screamed as Shinji let out a breath and noticed that he was back in the entry plug .
"Yes Misato ?"-Shinji asked as an com-box opened showed a relieved Misato
"You had us worried here , 150 sync ratio jump. Well ready to kick its ass ?"-Misato asked as she Shinji showed a thumb up as Eva 01 was standing on the launch catapult
"Sync ratio stabilised at 82 percent"-Maya said as Ritsuko showed a thumbs up to Misato
"Launch !"-Misato said as Eva 01 launched and after 20 seconds it reached the surface .
"Shinji , do it as we trained "-Misato said as a Pellet Rifle arrived in the next elevator . Shinji came out of the elevator as he saw the phallic shape of an angel with a ,,face" that reminded him of a mushroom and two energy whips . Shinji started shooting with a small five second series and 2 second break as the energy whip came after him . Shinji dodged and Jumped on one of the buildings abandoning the broken rifle and took out the pistols and started shooting at Shamshel's AT field . as another whip came at him Shinji jumped off the building he reloaded his pistols and started dashing around shooting Shamshel shooting at him .
"That wasn't the plan "- Misato said as she looked at the main screen
"But it's effective , launch magazines "- Ritsuko said as another elevator reached the surface as Shinji took only two before Shamshel destroyed the elevator .
"Ritsu , how big is the possibility that 18 bullets will tear down an AT field ?" - Shinji asked as Ritsuko made the calculation .
"000021083.7 percent chance , why do you need to do that ?" - Ritsuko asked as Shinji smirked
"All that i need"- Shinji said as he made a backflip ripping out his umbilical cord as the 5:00 timer showed up . Shinji started shooting at Shamshel's AT field . After he runned out of bullets Shinji took out his proggressive Sword-Mace .
"AT field max power"-Shinji said as he dashed at Shamshel while the angels whips were reflecting from the AT field as he runned with the sword mace as he started bashing it at the AT field as he checked the timer '2:59 , i need to be quick'-Shinji thought as he finally got though the AT field before thrusting his weapon in the core while letting out a scream that even Goku could be jealous off . While few kilometers away Kensuke and Touji who got himself a blackeye observed the battle
"Hell yeah Shinji !"- Touji said as he saw the falling angel on the ground
"So much great footage !"-Kensuke said as he observed everything with his camera .
"IS IT DEAD YET ?! "- Shinji screamed as he grabbed another umbilical cord . Just before a white cross appeared and a giant red spurt splattered across the terrain
"Angel destroyed"- Maya reported as Misato wiped her forehead
"This wasn't the plan but it worked , yes it's dead . Return to the elevator"- Misato said as Shinji got to the elevator. Few hours later Shinji was sitting in the locker room smoking a cigarette as Misato entered with her ,,Captain" expression
"You disobeyed the procedures "- Misato said to him as Shinji let out a chuckle
"But it worked didn't it ? Improvisation is the best way ."-Shinji said
"But you can't just abandon the battle plan . And you have to listen to my orders ."-Misato said as Shinji got off his bench and blew a pile of smoke
"Listen , behind the controls it's my job . I know about procedures but you know what ? Fuck them . Even if I waited for the next rifle, those few seconds could be the end . Third Child out "-Shinji said as he made his way out of the locker room
"Where are you going ?"- Misato asked him in a more friendly way but still retaining authority.
"To Rei's place to celebrate , i'll be back by midnight"-Shinji said as he left the locker room leaving a puzzled Misato
'Rokubungi after you will be back your a dead man' - Shinji thought as he saw the building that according to Hikari was housing the apartment that Rei lived in . It looked worse than buildings Neogoya . They were probably some old buildings from the old Hakone . As Shinji entered the door he saw Rei laying on her bed
"Hello Brother"- Rei said as Shinji looked around her apartment . Trash and bandages laying around everywhere .
"Sis , you live in this dump ?!"-Shinji screamed as he saw puzzled Rei
"those are the accommodations given to me by Commander Ikari ''- Rei said as Shinji finally noticed the pills that were laying on Rei's desk . He checked the pills and his eyes widened . Since he knew that those were the foundings of The Capsules he knew about most of side effects
"Methoxetamine , Benzodiazepine , Diazepam . THOSE ARE FUCKING MOOD SUPPRESSORS SEDACTIVES DISSOCIACTIVES AND HORMONAL CONTRACEPTIVES ! REI WHY DO YOU TAKE THEM !"- Shinji screamed as he grabbed Rei by her shoulders
"Doctor Akagi said that commander ordered it"- Rei said as Shinji took the nearest chair and thrown it to the wall
"Pack your things , I'm taking you out of here . You sleep with me tonight . And leave those drugs here"-Shinji said with a tone that reminded her of his father
"But commander-"-Rei tried to finish before Shinji cut her off
"DON'T COMMANDER IKARI ME ! I won't allow you to be drugged by that son of a bitch ! No wonder why you act so robotic . They take your free will ! I won't allow it as long as I'm here ! I beg you Rei , stop taking them ok ? "- Shinji finished his rant before he ranged Misato
"Yes Shinji ?"
"Rei's apartment now"
"You know that i have work right-"
"Rei's apartment or tonight i'm serving Pen-Pen wings"- Shinji said with a serious tone that made Misato actually scared
"Ok but you have to give me a good reason when I get there"- Misato said as she took her things out of her desk . An hour later Misato was standing in Rei's apartment
"Oh my god"-Misato said as she put a hand over her mouth .
"Yes , we need to get Rei out of here . And tonight she sleeps in our place"-Shinji said as Misato nodded her head
"Rei please pack your things and I will take you to our apartment ,I will wait for you outside"- Misato said as she went out and Shinji helped Rei pack her things . .Shinji escorted Rei to Misato's Alpine before leaving his backpack in her trunk .
"I'm going to the turnpike pass , i'll be back in few hours"-Shinji said before he drove off as he putted his SDAT and the track #8 of Mixtape #1 started playing

As Shinji made his way down the mountain he felt he finally was back . The tight corners and the rivals' shocked expressions as he passed five bikes and was closing up to the leader .
'Here we go'-Shinji thought as he used the NOS and passed the leading bike . Shinji knew that it wasn't over and he had to play defense on him . He was defending the position he was in until the bike had an electricity failure and backed out before Shinji speeded off . Shinji took the checkered flag and saw the organizers face as he took the money
"Wow kid , you really live up to your fame . You could go pro one day"- The man said as he gave Shinji his award
"No time and money to do that . Life sucks so i make the most out of it"- Shinji said as he got onto his bike and made his way back to the apartment . After he arrived he noticed that Misato left him a note .

A/N : Shamshel was defeated and the next 3-part arc begins . I know that I make Shinji a bit op but both Sachiel and Shamshel are easy to defeat since they are not giant Halos or Octahedrons .And yes I took the idea of drugged Rei from Advice and Trust since it's one of my favorite fics . And the Ramiel chapter will be split up in two since I want to take one chapter and tell it from Rei's perspective . And that Yui cameo was just a little teaser . After Ramiel, another 3-chapter arc and after that Asuka finally strikes ! .
