"Are we there yet ?"-Mari asked the same question as she was growing tired laying in the back of a van for what felt like hours , even if it took 40 or something minutes to get from the hidden location to Neogoya . Mari had to be hidden since Neogoya was pretty much a one big battlefield that was fought over by many different armies . Mostly motorbike gangs like The Capsules. But also by WILLE and SELLE controlled police units and mercs alongside occasional NERV forces . If SELLE got wind of the transport the streets would probably turn worse than beaches of Normandy.

"5 more minutes"-Rye said from behind the wall as Mari took out a photo from her pocket

'Now that i finally returned from my vacation in the stasis pod i can finally find you , i hope that you are still adorable '-Mari thought as the Van finally stopped. Rye opened the backdoors as Mari finally got on her feet and looked at sun

"Almost 15 years since I last saw it , it shines just as always"-Mari said as Rye handed her a box.

"New clothes , new passport , id card , drivers licence , a gun , some money and new identity. Also your stuff that we took from the UK"-Rye said as Mari opened up the box and took out her new ID.

"Mari Iscariot , If it will get SELLE of my ass then its good"-Mari said as Rye opened a backdoor of a building next to witch the van was standing

"Come in , since we don't have a room for you , you will have to share"-Rye said as they made their way through the building , opened more like magazines than rooms as they both made their way through the corridor . As Rye finally knocked on one of the doors before opening it to reveal a 14 to 15 year old girl laying on her bed reading a magazine . She got off and gave a look at Rye than at Mari.

"Hello Rye , who is she ?"-Kei asked as Rye just looked upon her .

"Mari , wait outside the door"-Rye said as Mari did what he asked , after that she could hear a few grunts of annoyance and then a tired ,,fine". As Rye left the room .

"I explained everything , you will be sharing a room with Kei , i need to check some stuff , i'll be back a day after tomorrow"- Rye said as he left and Mari and Kei stared each other

"Well , come in"-Kei said as Mari entered the room and put her box in a corner before standing in front of Kei and handing her hand

"Mari Makinami Illustrious broken on Mari Iscariot"-Mari said with a bombastic tone as Kei shaked her hand

"Kei , no surname"-Kei said as Mari just looked puzzled

"You don't have a surname ?"-Mari asked as Kei let go of Mari's hand

"I lost it along with a birth certificate"-Kei said with a firm tone

"Well I will go get change so I can start 2015 and wrap off 2001"-Mari said as she winked and made her way to the bathroom with her box. As Mari was changing Kei just sat on her bed thinking 'Was she really one of the scientists working on the project E ?' - Kei thought as she remembered the files that Rye showed her ,files about the 3 main scientists that worked on the Evangelions in 3 different GEHIRN locations . Japan, Germany and the UK . The one that had the most information was the files of Yui Ikari . The head scientist of project E and Shinji's mother . It is kinda a weird coincidence that thanks to her ,,boyfriend" at the time she met a person that had more right at hating Gendo Ikari than probably entire WILLE

NEOGOYA 2014

"Can you finally tell me where are we going ?!"-Younger Kei asked as she was clinging onto Kaneda

"Can you stop bitching for a second ?! We're going to hide for a bit in my friends place"-Kaneda said as they finally got off Kaneda's bike

"Now come on , I hope that Shin will be able to crash us for an hour"-Kaneda said as he pulled down the fire stairs. As they reached the 16th floor Kaneda knocked on Shinji's window . Shinji's uncle was on a month long business trip in Hong Kong so he had the whole apartment for himself so he was spending the evening doing homework and designing bodywork drinking miso and listening to Tomoko Aran tape in a tape deck

"Midnight Pretenders"-Shinji sang as he heard knocking on his window . Shinji noticed Kaneda and some girl standing on his window

"Kaneda ?"-Shinji asked as he lifted up the window as he helped Kaneda and Kei get in

"Jesus thanks Shin"-Kaneda said as Shinji stopped the tape and lit the lights up

"So ? What are you doing at midnight with a random girl and blooded clothes ?"-Shinji asked as he sat on his chair drinking his Miso

"Weeeelllll"-Kaneda said as he explained why he was missing for a few days and that why he was exactly in this place in this time

"Well now you can finally officially meet"-Kaneda said as Kei reached out her hand

"Kei"-She introduced herself as Shinji shaked her hand

"Ikari , Shinji Ikari"

Of course it was a bit of a shock as she met the son of the person she was thought to hate since she remembered . But after she started fully dating Kaneda , meanwhile drawing him in the underground warfare, drawing him far from pills . She noticed that Shinji was a complete 180 of his father who abandoned him at the train station with only his mothers walkman as the only memory . He and Takuro even posted weird pictures of him on 4chan. Takuro Hiei was still pretty much a mystery to her. She only knew him for a month before he died. She was at the funeral where she could see his sister crying and begging her brother to return . Even Kaneda was broken and it was probably the first time she saw him crying. After a few months Shinji was orphaned as his uncle also died and knowingly to almost anyone that knew him his last family as Shinji Ikari had to now survive on his own. As Kei wrapped up her mind train Mari left the bathroom dressed up in a gray hoodie and black sweatpants

"Well welcome future !"-Mari bombastically announced as Kei just had a disgraceful expression

"Are you sure you are a childhood prodigy that worked on project E ?"-Kei asked as Mari took out an Diploma that was from 1999 semester from Kyoto

"See this ? This is a enough proof , bioengineering finished in 5 years with a year specialization , It's probably useless right now since im dead"-Mari said as she put the diploma back to the box before laying on the wall while Kei returned to reading her magazine

"It brings back memories , like i started college back in 93 when i moved in with my roommates"-Mari said as was trying to start a conversation

"Well how did it went ?"-Kei asked as even a boring conversation was better than the awkward silence

"Great actually , We became great friends . But Yui and Kyo died and my only family is my godchild from Yui's side"- Mari said as Kei's mind experienced a brain freeze . 'WAIT WHAT ?! IF I'M THINKING WHAT I'M THINKING IS CORRECT THAN ? Wait , there could be more Yui's ?'

"Boy or a Girl ?"-Kei asked as she tried to keep a straight face

"Boy , Shinji . Little cute adorable fluff ball , at least that's how he was when i last saw him"-Mari finished as she found out that Shinji Ikari's second only family member was sitting next to her

"Well , i really want to celebrate my first day on the surface"-Mari said as got off the ground

"What do you mean ?"-Kei asked as it was obvious that i ment trouble

COUPLE HOURS LATER - HARUKIYA

"Bartender ! Another beer !"-Mari screamed as she put the money on the counter while Kei observed her transformation into drunk

"That was not what i meant"-Kei said as she took a sip of her own drink

"Aw come on ! i s-spent in stasis almost 15 years in stasis , I need to kick myself in the h- high gear !"-Mari said as the british genes look like they were starting to giving up as the alcohol took more and more of her brain cells , just as Kei wanted to tell how stupid this way of thinking is another person entered the bar , it was Kaneda wearing a black coat and grey sweetpants as he sat next to Kei and put some Yen on the counter and put his head on the counter

"Yebisu !"-Kaneda said as he finally noticed Kei

"Oh , hey Kei"-Kaneda said as he got up and gave her a kiss on a forehead before returning his head on the counter

"Weren't you supposed to be at that gang conference ?"-Kei asked as Kaneda just groaned in the counter before he got up

"Total catastrophe , we were supposed to talk about problems with The Clowns , but the whole gang starts to crumble since Shin left . Not only are the bikes in crying condition , but all the inserts are down since the middle man is now gone . Yamagata sucks at being a second in command . He may be a nerd , but he was smart enough to help me for the last few years . Either Shinji Ikari returns or it will be all over"-Kaneda said as it cought Mari's attention

"Shinji Ikari ?"-Mari asked is even during a major boozing she still retained some instinct

"Oh no"-Kei said as she gave herself a slap to the forehead

"Wait , I forgot to ask . Who is she ?"-Kaneda asked as Kei whispered him to the ear

"No fucking way , you are drunk right ?"-Kaneda asked before receiving a slap on the back

"Aw ! So if what you say is truth than ?"-Kaneda once again asked

"Yep , Shinji Ikari's only family is sitting next to us"-Kei said as Kaneda's face just showed confusion .

"But Shin has sister"-Kaneda said as both Kei and Mari spit out their drinks

"Wait What ?!"-Mari asked as her mind returned to being sharp

"Yes ?"-Kaneda said as he took out his phone and showed a picture of Shinji and Rei

"She has some genetic problems that's why she looks like she looks"-Kaneda said as both Kei and Mari noticed the blue haired girl with red eyes

"Wow , and you didn't say anything ?!"-Kei asked as she wanted to strangle her boyfriend

"It wasn't necessary !"-Kaneda said as he remembered that Mari was sitting next to them

"Oh I forgot to introduce myself , Shotaro Kaneda . One of Shin's best friends

"Mari Iscariot , Shinji's godmother"-Mari said as she shook Kaneda's hand

"So ? You know Shinji ? How did he change ?"-Mari asked as both Kaneda and Kei knew it would take hours to explain to her that their demisexual friend has grown up into a pretty rose with spikes.

"Well , we can talk about this tomorrow , you are drunk and such a subjects should be talked when you're sober"-Kei said as she helped get Mari back on her feet

"Well r-roomie , we are heading home !"-Mari said as Kei said goodbye to Kaneda and the duo left Harukiya leaving puzzled Kaneda thinking only 'What the hell is happening in the world'

A/N : Well this wraps up the first HS anthologies chapter , this subplot will be receiving short chapters in the epilogue . Next time we return to Tokyo 3 and Shinji's fight against Yuu . And I will use this short A/N for telling other few things . If we are talking about music then Shinji tastes in music are a mix of economic bubble Japan's J-pop with a mix of Eurobeat and 60s-70s rock . And i think to do few more intervals/short stories like this but this is waaaaay ahead . And yes this Shinji is demisexual since he doesent feel sexual desires to someone he is not deeply connected with
