Shinji just stared at the darkness of the meeting point with Yuu , he knew that this was it . The final conclusion of my debut in Tokyo 3 . If you off the leader the rest will come with capitulation. Ever since he alongside Kaneda founded The Capsules . For the next few months they cleaned up the streets from the rival gangs . And the gang grew from 6 to 10 to almost 150 bikers across the whole Neogoya.
"Ah come on , how long do I need to wait ? , I waited the whole day for this"-Shinji said to no one before he noticed bikes and people coming . 'well then , you will learn that you don't mess with a Neogoyan 8th'

"We are leaving !"-Shinji said as he and Rei left the apartment leaving Misato dealing with her food . The captain just took a look at her surroundings to see if Shinji and Rei left the complex so she can get to her work .
"Well then , I hope that those tiny scraps of info can get me closer to Shinji's secrets"-Misato said out loud as she took out a bunch of papers . Mostly some newspapers, police data and Bōsōzoku magazines . She took a day off to focus solely on the information behind him. The few minutes turned into hours as Misato jugged down another coffee . The only scraps of information showed things like crime databases and basic data like birthday and family members . Misato
decided to go with the last resort , she logged into Tokyo 3's database of citizens . Even if it sounded like George Orwell's ,,1984" NERV officials had unlimited access to the city's database including searching for people . Misato searched up ,,Hiei" in the database to find various people that did not even bring Misato close to find what she was looking for , She then searched up Neogoyan immigrants and checked the Surname . She was searching for a woman and a 9-year old child .
"Bingo"-Misato said as she finally found the person she was looking for , Nogama Hiei . Living in Tokyo 3's suburbs with her daughter Aimi . Misato got dressed and closed her apartment before making her way to her alpine . Misato sat in the car and put the address on her GPS. Misato during her way to the Hiei household humming a song from the radio thinking how she will talk to her 'What will I say ? Hi, I'm Shinji's guardian and I want to know info about your deceased son and why he doesn't want to talk about it ?!'-Misato thought as she made her way through the streets as she finally reached the suburbs . One of Tokyo 3's areas where according to Shinji ,,Where the upstarters and corpo-ties lived" . She was surprised that the Cyberpunk protag stereotypes are real with hating the ties . Shinji viewed the big corpo-figures as one of the reasons why life in Neogoya was like it was. For them and most of the big companies they were just numbers and tools to manipulate for profit . And that's why Yakuza took over the city making it its own battlefield with Motorcycle gangs associated with the various groups serving as their fighter pilots getting rid of the ,,enemy forces" . Like the Capsules that we're associated with Kichirou since family members of Shinji and Takuro we're deeply connected with that organization. Misato's opinion according to various Documentaries and the little stories that Shinji told her formed a vision of a dysfunctional depressing cyberpunk city that took over Hong Kong's place as a vision for a cyberpunk noir world . Misato parked the car on the driveway and made her way to the door . As Misato pressed the doorbell button she didn't know what to expect. Before the door opened and in the doorsill was standing a women in her mid 30s with black short hair and green eyes wearing a office uniform
"Good afternoon miss . Is there something you need ?"-The woman asked as Misato just was lost for words . She was not prepared for this conversation at all
"Nogama Hiei ?"-Misato asked as she put on the Captain face that she used to intimidate her co workers at NERV
"Yes ?"-Nogama said as Misato finally was prepared to introduce himself
"Misato Katsuragi , NERV"-Misato as said as Nogama just stared her down
"And you're here because ?"- Nogama asked before Misato finally could jump into the conversation
"Do you know Shinji Ikari right ? 14-year old ? Scar on the face ?"-Misato asked as Nogama put a hand on her mouth
"And why are you asking this question Miss Katsuragi ?"-Nogama asked as Misato decided to soft up her expression
"Well i'm his guardian , and i wanted to ask some questions ?"-Misato said as Nogama's brain analyzed the situation
"Please come in Miss Katsuragi"-Nogama said as Misato entered the house and took off her shoes.
"I'm gonna make coffee, can you please wait on the couch in the living room ?"-Nogama asked as Misato agreed and did as the woman asked . Couple of minutes passed as Nogama finally came with the coffee and sat next to Misato
"So what do you need to know ?"-Nogama asked as Misato knew about what to ask
"Everything about his life , and about your son miss Hiei"-Misato said
"Well miss Katsuragi , I hope you have time because we will have a lot to talk about"-Nogama said as 2 hours passed with her talking about the whole story . About the Yakuza , about Kaneda and Tetsuo , About The Capsules , About Shinji's uncle, About years and years of changing , how Yakuza helped her and Aimi leave Neogoya, About Takuro , and the ,,real" Shinji hid behind the facade of hard shelled punk and buried under years of terrible experiences. As they wrapped up their conversation Misato wanted to leave the Hiei Household Nogama grabbed Misato by her shoulder
"And Miss Katsuragi please remember one thing , he is a good boy . All 3 of them . You just need to crack his shell"-Nogama said as Misato said goodbye and left to her Alpine . She thought about years of experiencing things that no child should see. How the sweet and innocent boy has transformed into a scarred punk with almost no regard for others except for close friends. And if it was him instead of her in Antarctica 15 years ago he would simply brush it off. Misato made her way back to the apartment thinking 'Poor Shinji , what has this world done to you ? Turned you into the man you are today . I probably can't give you the relationship you need , but a certain someone maybe will'-Misato thought as made her way through Tokyo 3. Meanwhile Shinji was experiencing the mundane to hell school life . Teacher talked about the second impact and Shinji did not give a crap about it . Until he got a message
KENSUKE A : WELL HOW IS YOUR CASE GOING ?
SHINJI I : MIDNIGHT TONIGHT , YUU IS GOING DOWN

Shinji finished the conversation and returned to scrolling 4chan as he patiently waited for the last bell . The bell finally rang and Shinji changed into his biking gear and took out the ,,trash" that mostly contained letters from girls and sometimes boys . Shinji then found Rei and took her back to the apartment .
"We are home !"-Shinji said as he noticed Misato sitting at the table
"Welcome home"-Misato said as she was dressed in her usual clothes
"Well i will start making dinner , can you wait for few minutes ?"-Shinji asked as both Rei and Misato responded with "yes" . Shinji put on his SDAT earbuds as the track #25 of Megamix #1 started playing

Shinji moved his lips according to the song while making the best dinner he could . So that silent whispers could be heard across the whole apartment . Even with some minor disruptions in the sound, Shinji didn't care a bit for it. All the songs on the mix and other tapes were rips from the originals that were from his rich Tape collection in Neogoya . The original tapes are standing on the shelf in his room next to the tape deck. An hour passed as Shinji handed Misato and Rei their plates as they all started to dig up their food. As they all finished the food and Shinji washed the dishes Misato knew that it was the time to finally talk about it
"Rei , please go to your room for a bit ok ?"-Misato asked as Rei just stared her down
"Yes captain"-Rei said as she return to her room
"Shinji ?"-Misato asked as Shinji knew exactly what she wanted to ask
"If you want to talk about Takuro than no"
"I talked with his mother today , since you didn't want to talk about it"-Misato said as Shinji sat next to her
"So , what did she tell you ?"-Shinji asked as Misato noticed that his psychological shield was breaking
"Everything , about Takuro , about the Yakuza , about the kids from the orphanage , about your uncle , Everything . Im sorry Shinji . I know why you did not want to talk about it . You saw so many things that most of the kids shouldn't see , I can understand why you wanted to be silent about your past . But if you have any problems , you can come to me"-Misato finished as she embraced puzzled Shinji , Shinji gave back the embrace for what felled probably like eternity
"Thanks Misato"-Shinji said as they seperated
"Well then , we don't have to be so gloomy ! On saturday we are going to pick up The Second Child , you can take your friends if you want to"-Misato said as Shinji got up to prepare for the midnight
"I'm going to prepare for the evening"-Shinji said as he went to his room , for a few hours Shinji prepared his pistol and washed his clothes . Shinji left the apartment as the final track #26 of Megamix #1 in his SDAT started playing

Shinji got out of the apartment with one more tape ,,OST-YellowLine" and made his way to the parking lot. He took down the canvas to reveal his bike . He got on and put on his goggles
MIDNIGHT
Shinji finally noticed people coming as more motorbikes and cars were coming , Shinji silently retreated to the side of the road as the mobile circus that was the racing underground was slowly coming together , a few minutes passed and Shinji finally noticed the view he was most comfy with . Motorbikes standing across the streets with The Bōsōzoku News recording and taking photos for their media. And when he finally saw it , Matsuo Yuu's Aprilia RSV 1000 R slid down the streets as Shinji clenched his fist . Yuu got off his bike and walked over to Shinji . Shinji did the same and got off and stared down Yuu
"Well if it isn't The Highway Star ? You beat up and send 20 people to the Hospital and you expect me to race you ?"- Yuu asked as Shinji just smirked and lit up a cigarette
"then you had to sit on your ass and wait for me to get to you, and now you will regret that you sent your henchman on me , you could just call"-Shinji said as it pissed off Yuu and his "men"
"You shouldn't have racing on my turf 8th"-Yuu said as Shinji just throw out his cigarette
"Like i said , there was not a sign ,,No Neogoyans Allowed" so either we can get it over with or i'm gonna just kill you"-Shinji finished as he noticed the whole scene staring him
"Well then , lets race"-Yuu said as he got on his bike and set on the starting line with Shinji following him , Shinji took out his SDAT and changed the tape to OST-YELLOWLINE and pressed start just before the countdown started as a man put his hands in the air
"3 , 2 , 1 , GO !"- The man screamed as they both floored the gas and drove off in the darkness before reaching the first corner . Shinji immediately laid on his side as the tight space of the mountain road put him between the guardrail and Yuu . Shinji decided to give up the first corner for him as he waited for another one to attack . Shinji waited for the occasion as he observed Yuu's Aprilia . Next corner came as Shinji prepared to attack . As the speedometer showed 60 km/h Shinji attacked as he finally passed Yuu and tried to get away . In contrast to Shinji's plan Yuu was still holding tightly close to him . On another turn Yuu finally regained his position as Shinji returned to seeing Aprilia's taillight . Shinji spent the next few corners planning the counterattack . Since everyone thought that ,,The Highway Star" did not know this track , but according to Kensuke it was a Mountain pass-Wangan hybrid with almost 50 percent of the track was against the flow with a high possibility of being hit by a truck or a car. But Shinji knew how to go against the flow since almost every time The Capsules went out to battle The Clowns or other Gangs it was a necessity to operate in Neogoya . Shinji and Yuu finally aligned as the two bikes left the pass and made their way to the Highway , As they got on the Highway it was finally free roam as the 4 lane Highway allowed them to overtake each other almost every minute even if cars were moving obstacles , Before Shinji noticed few bikes blocking the way as he knew what to do and drove down on the opposite way of the highway and drove up on the Highway intersections following Yuu . As Shinji wanted to overtake Yuu he had new trouble , a truck went straight up on him and Shinji dodged the truck and finally noticed Yuu , Shinji decided to overtake and cover himself up with cars . Shinji started to overtake Yuu as he finally retook the first position Shinji and Yuu both started to dodge the cars coming in front of them . The highway exit or entrance for the correct way of driving Shinji knew that it was do or die time . Both Shinji and Yuu ignited their nitrous oxide while driving off the highway . Shinji finally overtook Yuu as they reached the pass . And it was at this moment that Yuu's aggression started to overtake common sense . Yuu drove next to Shinji as he started to kick Shinji's bike . And now Shinji finally knew that this whole race was planned to send him to the next side , according to Kensuke this track was something that is called ,,Death Race" since most of the bikers got sent to hospital during the highway part. Shinji decided to play it cool as he knew what to do , he slightly decided to push back , of course not now as he did not fall from the mountain , it was at this moment that when they got on the inteligent king of Tokyo 3 started to simply kick and push like a baby . It was this moment that Yuu finally did make his mistake .
"AHHHH !"-Yuu screamed as he falled down his bike and sent his Aprilia to the guardrail. Shinji stopped and noticed Yuu lying with few broken limbs and bleeding from a few places , since of course did not wear a helmet . Shinji smirked and walked over to broken Yuu .
"Well well , the famous Matsuo Yuu that sended some henchmen to stop me is now laying on the road"-Shinji said as he heard the pain cries of Yuu
"Call the a-ambulance , im sorry"-Yuu managed to speak out as Shinji started to laugh
"You expect me to help you after you target me and my sister ? Well i will help you after you say to the dictaphone ,,The Highway Star is the new king of Tokyo 3"-Shinji said as he took out his phone . Yuu thought about this quickly and did what Shinji said
"T-the High-ghway S-ta-r is the new king of T-Tokyo 3"-Yuu spit out as Shinji took out his pistol . Yuu put his hands on his face and Shinji pointed the pistol at Yuu's Aprilia and fired a series into the engine before the fuel started to leak out , Shinji loaded the magazine and fired a series at the leak before the Aprilia finally set on fire . Shinji decided to leave as as Yuu grabbed his leg
"Y-you promised"-Yuu said as Shinji laughed
"I lied"-Shinji said as he jumped on his bike and left to the finish line thinking
'Well I'm the king of Tokyo 3 now . My first decree , Matsuo Yuu is detronized and for the next year he can race on a wheelchair , if he even survives . Decree number 2 , tomorrow i will get drunk as fuck , and decree number 3 . Shit we are going to pick up The Second Child so Saturday is full . I don't know if it's a boy or girl ? Well time will tell if she or he can be a worthy compatriot'-Shinji finished his train of thought as he crossed the finish line
EPILOUGE
"Wow , so much things can change"-Mari thought as she sat next to Kei and Kaneda , for the last few minutes Kaneda and Kei caught her up to events in terms of her godchild while listening to the sounds of sewer water
"Yeah , sorry if you were expecting something else , but he is a good guy if you get to know him"-Kei said as Kaneda got off his bike that he used as a chair . Since his and most of the capsules main mechanic was gone , including the availability of professional parts and tools ,Kaneda had to use ,,other" Techniques to fix his bike , mostly of off-brand parts duck tape and Cable ties with visible wear outs in both paint since only Shinji had access to a paint chamber and the two-wheel drive disks were worn out since only Shinji could install them and maintain them in a ,,good" way.
"And i known him since childhood , he is really a good guy , just shaped to fit this ecosystem like the rest of us"-Kaneda said as Mari looked at the neon-filled sky
"Well it's not weird if he lives in a city that looks like Blade Runner and Bubblegum Crisis had drug-charged threeway with the pre-impact Hong Kong"-Mari finished as Kaneda's jaw fell to the floor
"That is the most badass sentence i ever heard from someone in real life"-Kaneda said as he put his Jaw back to its place
"Well i got the idea how you can meet him fully , we are gonna break into his apartment"-Kei said as Kaneda's jaw returned to the ground
"You are crazy right ? Kichirou protects this complex 24-7"-Kaneda said as Kei's face started to look like when she found pills in Kaneda's jacket
"And you are supposed to be the leader of one of the best motorbike gangs ? You can go do a drive by with a LASER RIFLE and you can't do a simple break in"-Kei said as Kaneda's face showed a sour expression
"Hey ! Im risk full but not stupid !"-Kaneda said as Mari got on her legs
"Well kiddos , it's time for granny Mari to take over , no-surname said that Shinji lived on 16th floor and red can crack up the window entrance , that is the plan"-Mari finished as the duo looked upon her
"Well its a plan , and i told you not to call me like that"-Kei said as Mari unfolded her arms
"But you introduced yourself like that"-Mari said as they all left the sewers
"Well we're gonna meet tomorrow to talk the plan out"-Kaneda said as he reved his bike down the sewers and Mari and Kei decided to got on the streets
A/N : Well we wrap up the Pre-Asuka part of the story . Asuka finally joins the story meanwhile the Mari-Kaneda-Kei trio wraps up their own mystery !
