A ship rises in space, and someone laughs from inside of it. The ship belongs to the Cluster. "Mine!" Smytus exclaims, some crystals in front of him. "The pip crystals. Unimaginable power lost for centuries. With the power of the crystals, Earth will fall like a ripe melon," He places one crystal into the pile. "Queen Vexus herself will declare me a hero," He presses a button to encase the crystals. "No more uggy buggy Smytus or Smytey-Pants Fatbottom. I will be Smytus, destroyer of worlds!" He laughs evilly and then his eyes widen. He looks to his army, who haven't reacted to his monologue. "You laugh too," He deadpans down at them.
They laugh, but it's half-hearted and not meaningful. "Like you mean it," He warns them and they do so. "That's it." One of them falls down laughing, and one of them slams on the button accidentally, setting off an alarm. Everything goes quietly and then the crystals are shot through the ceiling and towards Earth.
Smytus opens his mouth in shock, looking down at his arm. One of them laughs weakly, the one on his right nudging him to be quiet. He growls in anger and then suddenly the whole army is thrown out into space. Smytus turns the ship around to head down himself.
From Jenny's systems back home in Tremorton, the radar goes off, with the ship approaching on the screen. "It appears we have a Cluster starship in the neighborhood," Dr. Wakeman notices and Jenny looks over to the screen.
"And it looks like they're chasing something."
"Hmm, spheroid object, crystalline composition. Energy signature: unknown..." She looks up at her robot daughter, who looks shocked. "Well, whatever it is, if the Cluster wants it, it must be dangerous. You and Ms. Mecha better-"
Jenny takes off out the window.
Amy hums while on her computer and then her monitor comes out of her closet. She whips around to it as the screen goes up to her face. She reads it as the words 'Cluster spaceship' appear. "Aw no, not the Cluster again!" She groans at this. "I'd better get out of here before my sisters notice," She stands up and then looks at the screen again. "I wonder what they're after..." She presses her brooch and her mecha suit appears on her body. She flies out the window.
The pile of crystals are heading down so fast that flames appear on them. The Cluster ship reaches out a claw, trying to grab them, but then suddenly Smytus is pushed back. "Hmm? Aha!" He exclaims knowingly as he sees both Jenny and Ms. Mecha pushing him away from the crystals. "XJ9 and Ms. Mecha, we meet at last."
"Do we know you?" Amy deadpans as Jenny uses a rocket booster while she's helping push the ship with her suit's strength.
"Come to claim the pip crystals for yourselves, huh?" Smytus ignores her question.
"Pip crystals, the most dangerous artifacts in the universe," Jenny says knowingly, glancing behind her. "Well, you can forget-"
A large cannon appears over their heads, blasting the both of them down. Both of them go flying towards Earth like comets. "Now to find those crystals," He uses a tracking system to locate the crystals, and closes in on Phillippe's, which is a dressmaker shop.
"Oh, no, no, no!" Brit shouts in dismay as she and Tiff are looking at dresses. "These designs are all wrong! None of those will do for our junior prom!" She and Tiff are both dressed in yellow. "Our gowns must not only dazzle, they must also shame and humiliate that tinplated bumpkin XJ9 and that fake disgusting Amy! Is this the best you can do, Jean Phillippe?"
"But my dears, I give you my entire spring collection," He pulls up a rack and then tosses it. "Which you reject as garbage. You even pooh-pooh Mr. Biscuit's best efforts," He gestures to his dog, a poodle, who whines in dismay.
"Whatever; you better find some inspiration and fast, or we're gonna take our business elsewhere," Tiff threatens the dressmaker.
"But where do I find this inspiration, my darlings? From the air? From the clouds? The sky?! Where?!"
Just as he's done asking this question, a whistle is heard, and then the pip crystals crash into the store. They all jump to the side as smoke appears everywhere. Once they look up, every single dress is covered in crystals. The two cousins gasp in awe at how they sparkle and shine.
"Pretty, shiny, glittery!"
"Girls, brace yourselves!" Jean Phillipe takes some crystal fabric. "This season, everything will be draped in crystals!" He smiles as he throws the fabric over the girls, and they all laugh.
"Jean-Phillippe International; please hold," The receptionist is taking phone calls at the desk. "Jean-Phillippe International; please hold. Jean-Phillippe International; please hold. Jean-Phillippe-" His mouth opens in shock as loud footsteps approach.
Smytus kicks open the door, smoke appearing from his shadow in the doorway. "Bow to me, mortal, and tremble in fear. Before you stands Smytus, Lord of the Outer Rings. Mayor of Moonrovia. Capo of the Crom Nebula! And Destroyer of Worlds!" Thunder strikes after his mini-monologue. "I have home to confront your master, the one they call Jean-Phillippe."
"Wow," The receptionist taps his fingers against the desk. "Where to begin? Where to begin? First of all, fatty, I'm not bowing to anyone. Second, unless you're here for supermodel auditions, you're not seeing anyone's master. And third, shoo."
The phone rings and he turns away from Smytus. "Jean-Phillippe International. Oh, hi Mary!" He smiles and then glances at the alien, waving him away. "Go on now. Shoo."
Smytus just walks off, baffled by how a mortal actually stood up to him. "But-"
"Shoo!"
He leaves the building.
"What's up, girlfriend? Ellen said what?" The receptionist gasps sharply. "You've got to be kidding-" A large shadow looms over him and he groans. "Oh, I've gotta go."
Smytus...is now wearing a wig that he somehow got to pose for the supermodel tryouts. "Hello, I am Smytelana, supermodel extraordinaire. Slim super girl, runaway diva, and destroyer of worlds!" Thunder strikes again before he speaks. "I am from Ukrainia."
"An Ukranian supermodel!" The receptionist gushes at this, falling for it. "How exotique; go right in."
"Danke," Smytus waves slightly before walking into the doorway.
"Supermodel Smytelana, this is Jean-Phillippe."
Smytus slams the door open, gasping as he sees that the pip crystals have been hemmed into Brit and Tiff's dresses. Brit has a ball gown and gloves while Tiff has a two-piece dress with a crown on her head. "The crystals! Jean-Phillippe, I have come-"
"No talking! There is no talking in fashion," Jean-Phillippe interrupts him. "Walking, that is what we want to see."
"Walk? Like this?" Smytus starts walking and music plays.
"Mm-hm." The Crust Cousins just look disinterested in what's going on. "Now turn." Smytus does as he's told, mainly so he could get to the point. "Good; and turn and turn. Now pout." Smytus gives a small pout. "Now sneer. Pout. Sneer. And strike a pose." The alien finishes off with his hand on his hip. "Mm-hmm! Very nice. What do you think, ladies?" He turns to Brit and Tiff.
"She looks strong. I like her," Tiff comments with a small smile.
"As do I," Brit adds in. "She's tall and exotic."
"You mean you think I'm...beautiful?" Smytus smiles happily, stars appearing in his eyes. Maybe this whole supermodel thing wouldn't be so bad after all!
Meanwhile, both Jenny and Amy had landed in the grass so hard that people could see a dirt trail leading to them. A tractor rolls by and comes to a stop. Two people get out of the car to gawk at them. "What you reckon they are, Ma?"
"Why, it's one of them UFOs, Pa," The woman walks over, holding up her skirt.
"Let's crack 'em open and see if they have one of them superpower orphan babies inside!" The man takes out an axe, to use it on the both of them.
Ma gasps sharply as they step forward. "I always wanted one of them!"
"Ow, what happened?" Jenny wakes up and Amy sits up next to her, grunting in pain.
"Feel like I just got some bones shattered," Amy looks at herself.
"Why, those aren't UFOs. Those are some of them extraterrestries," Ma points out and Pa sags his shoulders in disappointment.
"Oh..."
"Oh my gosh, the crystals!" Jenny suddenly remembers and Amy stands up in alarm, suddenly okay.
"Let's go, Jen! And sorry," She waves to the two people before they take off into the sky.
"Let's get your measurements," Jean-Phillippe says to Smytus, who had a big smile on his face. "just slip this under your wings," He holds up a measuring tape, and then Jenny and Amy fly in through the broken ceiling window.
"Stay away from him!" They both exclaim in alarm, stepping between both the fashion designer and the alien.
"You've been tricked. This is no glamorous fashion model," Jenny extends her arm to rip off the wig from Smytus' head. "He's a dangerous Cluster criminal." Brit and Tiff gasp sharply upon hearing this. "And he's only interested in stealing those crystals."
"Oh, right," Smytus rubs his chin; for a few minutes he had actually forgotten that he had snuck in here to grab the crystals. "The crystals. Foolish XJ9 and her gimmicky sidekick."
Amy blinks at being addressed and then glares up at him. "Hey!" She calls out in protest.
"Soon the crystals will be mine again!" He activates his hands so that they're glowing green.
"Dream on," Jenny's hands turn into saws while Amy's metal hands turn into laser cannons. "After we send you back to Cluster in pieces, we'll bury those crystals where no one will ever find them again!"
"You're finished here, Smytus!" Amy narrows her eyes at him, her cannons powering up.
"Silence!" Brit screams and they power down their weapons to look at her. "None of you are taking our new dresses."
"What?" The brunette murmurs in disbelief; they're really going to play this right now? The crystals are not only dangerous, but they shouldn't be used for fashion...
"Brit, Tiff, get away from the crystals!" Jenny holds out her hands and they just raise their brows, a little confused. "Give them to me and Ms. Mecha. We'll protect you from their power."
"Jen," Amy tries to warn her.
"Protect us? Don't make me laugh," Brit just smiles at her; they didn't really know what they were dealing with.
"Don't tell them about the crystals!" Amy hisses to Jenny. "Come up with a better excuse!"
"Like what?"
"Child, please; you just want to make your own crystal prom dress. Well, that ain't happenin', losers," Tiff dismisses the warning.
"That's really not why! Those aren't normal crystals, just hand them over and we'll explain!" Amy exclaims at them in annoyance. "This isn't even about the dresses, it's about saving the world!"
"Yeah, right," Tiff just chuckles, thinking that it was just an excuse. "Like I said, looooo..." A sonic wave comes from Tiff's mouth. "Sers!" It knocks both Jenny and Amy into the wall, both of them a little dizzy from the attack.
"Ooh!"
"Hello!"
The two look happy about this new development, Smytus glancing at the two in the wall. "Very impressive. But Smytus is no teenager. Smytus is a soldier, a warrior, a Cluster Champion!" Several limbs appear from his body and wings, planning to attack them.
"Puh-leeze," Brit waves him off, not really carrying. "You're nothing but an insect. Not even an insect—a worm, a scurvy little worm," She wiggles her fingers and another wave appears, this time shrinking Smytus down to the point where he's as big as a roach. Amy opens her mouth in shock upon seeing him.
"I am a warrior!" He exclaims in a falsetto voice, turning around and running off towards the door, since he couldn't get the crystals this way. Just before leaving, he turns around to the duo, shaking a fist. "I am a destroyer of worlds!"
"Ladies, please!" Jean-Phillippe cries out to them. "Please stop, I beg of you! You are destroying my studio, scaring away my Ukranian supermodel, and you have terrified poor Mr. Biscuits."
Mr. Biscuits hides in his little tent in the corner, the fashion designer turning to the girls. "I must ask you to leave. And on your way out, return my crystal gowns," He demands to them.
"Your gowns?" Brit asks angrily, Tiff glaring at him. "These designs were our idea. Without us, you are nothing." He opens his mouth in shock for her retaliation. "Your designs are derivative," She waves her hand, a fabric flying out consisting of purple with yellow dots. "Your stitches are shoddy," With her other hand, she brings forth a green plaid fabric. "And you're probably colorblind," She makes an outfit for him with the green plaid pants and a yellow/purple shirt with a white collar.
He screams in horror as he looks at himself. "I am...clashing!" He sobs as he runs out of there, closing the doors behind him.
"Now we stand unopposed," Brit says happily as she and Tiff stand proudly. "We can do whatever we want!"
"We goin' totally rule," Tiff clasps her hands together, smiling evilly at the thought. "We goin' rule junior prom!" She could just imagine the crowd cheering them on with a banner dedicated to them.
"I guess that's fine as far as it goes..." Brit turns to her cousin with a devious smile. "But why stop with prom queens..." As she speaks, the platform rises and goes through the building of Tremerton High. "When we can be Queens of Tremerton! We can remake this hicktown—nothing but restaruants and shopping!"
"No more dentist's office!" From a cloud above them, it zaps away a building. "No more library." That goes away too after a flash of lightning. "No more baseball diamond!" The baseball field completely disappears after being touched.
"And speaking of diamonds," Brit holds out a shadowy hand to the residents outside the city, which is now in flames. "I think it's high time the good people of Tremerton did something useful with their lives—like toiling in the diamond mines." Everyone, including Brad and Amy's sisters, are mining away in the mines, looking miserable. Brit rubs her chin as she looks on. "But not in rags, do you think? Tacky. I think perhaps evening wear would be nice," A wave of her hand changes all their clothes to nice tuxes and dresses, but still mining. "Everyone will be slaves to fashion!"
Tiff turns to her with an evil smile. "But the first thing we should do is turn those robo-twits into sewing machines!" They both laugh evilly at the thought until Jenny's hand comes up and smacks them across the faces. Amy chuckles to herself, glad that for once, someone did it.
"Snap out of it! The crystals are clouding your minds," She gets her arm back, frowning at them.
"She's right, what you're imagining is ridiculous! What makes you think everyone would even listen to you?" Amy points out to them.
"Cloudin'? Ridiculous? You need to get out more," She raises her hands and everything changes so that they're outside, standing on Phillipe's roof actually. Tiff smiles up at the sky. "Looks like a beautiful night to me."
"This is getting out of hand," Jenny says to Amy, pointing to them. "Give us the crystals before you hurt anything else."
"You need to think about this!" Amy clenches her fists.
"Don't be ridiculous," Brit dismisses as the crystals shine underneath the night sky. She raises her arms and floats up to an Alaskian billboard. "Why would we give this up?" She asks while standing on a fake mountain.
"Yeah," Tiff floats up in front of the billboard, looking down at them. "We like hurtin' things."
Amy growls while shaking a little. "Oh, you're lucky I can't do any major damage to you," She seethes at them.
"If you don't give them up," Jenny extends her hand to the water tower a few buildings away from them. She makes her hand into a pump, the other hand a hose. "We'll take them off you!" She activates her hose, water flying towards the dup.
"You need to relax, child," Tiff remarks while sitting on a fake mountain.
"Indeed," Brit agrees with her. "Chill out." She blows a gust of icy wind, and it turns the water into tiny little crystals once they come into contact...and those tiny little crystals are heading right towards them! Amy yelps as Jenny makes her hand into an umbrella to dodge them while Amy flips backwards to avoid them. Once the attack was over, Jenny's hand has crystals poking out of it, and Amy was on the edge of the building, about to fall off it. She wobbles her arms rapidly before stepping forward. Jenny shakes the crystals off her hand, extending her arms to make them into giant fists. Amy activates her wings and starts soaring towards them.
However, they instead grab Jenny's arms and Amy's wings, and take them both flying. "Ohhhh, Jennnnnny!" Amy shouts in alarm, and she watches as the two use her arms to make a shoelace from a boot billboard. They soar into the sky, and Jenny gets pulled along. She goes through the holes in the billboard rapidly fast, and then the two spin around like a tornado, dragging Amy and Jenny along with them. Then they let go, tossing them both into stone.
"Okay," Jenny looks up at them while Amy growls. "No more kid stuff. Let's see those crystals deal with extreme fire power," Jenny turns into a large missile launcher, firing them off. Amy's hand turns into a large heat ray and she fires it.
"Be careful, girls," Tiff calls out while she and Brit are holding onto a fake candy bar from a billboard. They then rip it right out from the billboard.
"These things do have a tendency to backfire," Brit adds in as the sign acts as a slingshot, the heat ray touching the tip of the missiles. The missiles go flinging back towards the duo, and they flinch in alarm. They run in opposite directions, the missiles landing behind Jenny one by one. She jumps off a building and onto a tower before jumping on various buildings and rolling off a rap from a place called Roy's. Amy meanwhile jumps onto another building, leaping forward and grabbing a pole from another building. She swings off of it while rolling onto the roof of another building. She glances to Jenny, who was still running from the missiles, and she dives forward. One all the missiles stop, she peeks around a corner.
"Hiding from something?" Tiff asks smugly from a few feet away. She gasps sharply as she turns around.
"And here's the other one~" Brit sings a bit as Amy is still standing on the opposite side. She gasps sharply, turning around and backing away.
"What is it, sugar?" Tiff questions as she and Brit wave their arms. "You feeling okay?"
"Overwhelmed?" Brit adds in as she's now standing behind Tiff, and they start to get dizzy.
"Dizzy?"
Suddenly duplicates of them appear in front of the two, and it was messing up all of their senses. "Feeling surrounded?" They both ask in unison as their eyes roll around. Amy holds the sides of her head, wondering what is going on.
"Am I really about to die from the two most snobbiest girls on the planet? Is this really how I end?" She murmurs in disbelief. She didn't think that out of all things, it'd be these two that seal the deal on her...especially since she doesn't care for them.
"Oh, dear, they seem quite confused," Brit comments while the two are still in the air. "Why don't we lend them a hand?"
Tiff smiles as she holds up her hand, and it shines. She directs a giant hand to the two, capturing them both in her fist. She then squeezes them until Jenny's eyes go back and forth from being out of its sockets. The same thing happens to Amy, their eyes dangling.
"That's it. Now put them down gently~" Brit teases and Tiff tosses them around before throwing them towards Phillipe's sign. Jenny and Amy get electrocuted before slowly falling into a newsstand, and all the newspapers go flying around them. Amy lifts up her head as it spins around, and she feels like she's going to be sick. The last newspaper falls over Jenny's head, and once she gets up, she takes a look at it.
"Had enough, you cybernetic nerds?" Tiff taunts the both of them as they float towards the two, glowing.
"Are you ready for a lifetime of sewing hemlines?" Brit questions them, thinking that they've won.
"Alright, you win. We can't defeat the power of the crystals," Jenny states and Amy looks at her like she's crazy, but then the robot winks and then gets a knowing smirk on her face. "Not even the crystals can protect you from this!" She holds up a magazine to them.
"No, it can't be!" Brit gasps in horror.
"It's horrible!" Tiff holds her cheeks in dismay. "Oh, that ain't right!"
Amy is confused until Jenny brings the magazine in front of her face and she smiles. "Come on; we have to get off the streets before it's too late!" Brit cries out and they fly away from everything.
"Alright Jen!" Amy cheers, the two of them high-fiving each other.
"You okay, Amy?" The robot asks her. "You took the beating too."
"Psh. I played football with Jacque, remember? Not only that, but I've gotten a few rough bruises playing, so that's nothing," She waves it off. A car comes to a stop in front of them, and it's Dr. Wakeman.
"XJ9, are you damaged?" She walks up to Jenny in concern. "Why aren't you pursuing the crystals?"
"Don't worry, Mother," Jenny smiles confidently. "I'm positive we'll never see those crystals again," Jenny tosses down the magazine...which says on the front cover that crystals are out and blah, as in rags, are in.
Brit tosses her gown while wearing rags, Tiff also wearing them, and the box is marked out of style. They get put into a vault of where the Cousins put everything that's been out of style, cliché, plain, and worn once. And Jenny knows about this vault because Amy knew that once the two had worn something that's out of date, they get rid of it so that it's never seen to the public again. Not to mention that the vault is impenetrable and has lots of security.
So even if Smytus turns back to normal and tries to track them down, he wouldn't be able to find them again.
Amy flies into her bedroom window, sighing in relief as she presses the brooch to put her superhero suit away. She flops onto the bed, closing her eyes. After what happened, she needed a good old-fashioned nap...
Suddenly the door bangs from outside and she sits up in alarm. "Amy! Where have you been?!" Claudia exclaims from outside. "I need you out here, Piri got into the cookie jar again! No, put that down-" A crash is heard from the living room and her eyes widen.
She sighs slowly as she gives a blank look. She knew that she was constantly putting Claudia in charge, and Piri wasn't always easy to deal with...but at the same time, she had to keep her superhero life a secret so that she's not putting her sisters in any danger. If the Cluster knew who she was, they'd use her sisters to get to her, and she couldn't have that. Plus...no one would respect her as a superhero because of her now being a girl instead of a boy, and that was what she liked about people not knowing. She didn't have to worry about people judging her unlike in school, she could just be herself and save the world while doing it.
"Coming!" She calls out, dragging herself to her bedroom door and opening it. Now her next mission was just to get Piri to go to sleep...
