Optimus Prime and the Wreckers drove across the planet hoping to find their friends. "Ha Prime," Whirl asked his leader, "do you think Rod, Kup, and those Dino freaks are still functioning? For all we know they probably didn't make it."
"Shut it Whirl," Topspin told him. "If we survive the crash, then they most likely survive as well!"
"Still, shouldn't we focus on getting off this dump and fighting this monster instead of finding them," Twin Twist asks them.
"We don't leave one of our own behinds," Optimus told them. "We will deal with this main threat soon but first we must find our friends and make sure they're safe."
"Optimus is right," Sandstorm told them. "Kup formed our team and saved our lives countless times. It's the least we could do for him."
"I'm with you there, Sandstorm," Roadbuster agreed with his ally. The Autobots stopped at a body of liquid blocking their path as they all transformed into robot mode. "So, do we jump over it or walk through it, Prime?"
"Perhaps we could use Broadside to transport us in his-" Suddenly, Optimus was interrupted by swarms of Allicons as the Wreckers ready themselves for battle. "Stand down, please. My name is Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. We're not here to harm any of you."
"More invaders," one of the creatures yelled. "Take them!"
"More invaders? What have you done with our friends?"
One of them lashed at Optimus but was blasted by Topspin. Wreckers start to open fire at the Allicons while their leader ignites his ax and fights them off. However, they're surrounded by the monsters closing in on them. "Oh scrap! There are too many of them," Whirl shouted.
"Stand your ground Autobots! We must push through!"
Suddenly, one of them sinks its jaws onto Optimus's arm pulling him into the pack. "Prime no," Topspin cried.
The Allicons surrounded Optimus as all of them rushed to him to eat him alive until Swoop dived in to carry his leader away. "Gotcha," the Dinobot shouted.
"Swoop," Optimus said, surprised. Luckily, the Dinobots emerged and easily fought off the swarm of monsters while the Wreckers were backing them up. The Allicons fled away in fear of the unexpected enemy reinforcements. Swoop carefully put his leader down once the threats retreated. "Thank you, Dinobots. I don't think we wouldn't last long without you."
"Me Grimlock happy to see friends alive," the Dinobot leader greeted his allies. "Me Grimlock thought we were the only ones to survive."
"Grimlock, have any of you seen Hot Rod and Kup?"
"Me Grimlock haven't seen friends. We Dinobots are the only ones by themselves from the crash."
"Then, these creatures have captured them. We must rescue them."
"Do we even know where they could've kept them," Roadbuster asked. "For all we know they could be anywhere!"
Then suddenly, Optimus spotted something from a distance. He quickly got on Sludge to get a good view and spotted a strange-looking tower. "There," he pointed at it. "Hot Rod and Kup are taken there."
"How do you know," Twin Twist asks.
"That tower looks familiar. Something I recognize in the archive back in Cybertron. By telling those creatures we encountered, they must be serving someone. Which means we must rush to their aid quickly. Autobots roll out!" Optimus and the Autobots transform into their alternate modes and rush to rescue their friends.
The Decepticon flagship arrived at the planet Junkion as Galvatron and his forces exited the ship and entered the planet. When they found the Autobot wrecked shuttle, the Decepticons landed in front of the ship and approached it with their weapons in their hands, ready to kill the Autobots. "Magnus and his men didn't know we're here," Galvatron whispered to his men. "Proceed with caution. I want him alive so I can have the Matrix."
Octane and a few Seeker variants sneak into the ship and aim their blasters at their enemies but there's no one inside. "Lord Galvatron," he told his leader. "The Autobots aren't here."
"What?!"
"Are there any clues where they could've gone," Cyclonus asked him.
"I don't think so," the triple changer told him.
"Wait," one of the Seekers warned him. "There's a beeping inside! They're hiding!"
"NO WAIT-"
An explosion of the shuttle set off as all of the Decepticons blew away from the blast. Ultra Magnus and the Autobots emerge from their hiding place and they begin firing at their enemies. Galvatron immediately stood up and began firing back as the other Decepticons sought cover and joined him. "There goes our shuttle," Springer shouted as he blasted at the enemy.
"We'll find another way off this planet but focus on fighting off the Decepticons," Magnus told him.
"Decepticons," Galvatron yelled at his men. "Transform and kill!"
All the flying Decepticons transformed into their jet mode and began firing the Autobots from the sky, causing them to fall back. Magnus and the others transformed into their vehicle mode to outrun their enemies. Daniel and Blurr ran right beside each other as the child cried, "What do I do?! What should I do?!"
"Transform-transform. You-can-do-it. I-know-you-can-do-it. You-can-do-it," Blurr told him as he transformed and drove off.
Daniel could transform into car mode in his exo-suit but he had a little trouble making it work. Suddenly, Scavenger and Thundercracker blocked his path as the Seeker yelled, "Human trash!"
"Transform," the child yelled as he finally managed to transform in time as he ran over the two Decepticons.
Suddenly, Astrotrain landed in front of the child and kicked the child away, causing him to transform back into his alternate mode. The giant Decepticon pointed his blaster at Daniel as he mocked him, "Nice try, you little brat."
Luckily, Prowl rammed at the Decepticon in his mode as he transformed and blasted him away. "Let's go, kid," the cop told him as they both drove away.
Sadly, Galvatron and his elites blocked the Autobots' escape route and trapped them. Ultra Magnus led his men to another route but only led to a dead end. "Ultra Magnus, what do we do now," Perceptor panicked as he sought cover.
"Head to the end! We'll make our last stand," the Autobot commander ordered his Autobots. "We will not give the Decepticons the satisfaction of killing us easily."
"You heard him," Prowl told them while leading everyone to set up their last stand. "Let this be our last fight!" The Autobots quickly get in position until Ultra Magnus blasted the debris and sealed up the entryway, shocking everyone. "What?! Ultra Magnus! What are you doing?!"
"All of you make an escape route! I'll hold them off as long as I can! Go now!"
"We can't leave you," Arcee cried. "We can't let you do this! You'll die!"
"I won't let any of you die because of me. So many of our friends are gone under my watch… I won't let anyone die today… This is our darkest hour… I shall use the Matrix to defeat them. This will be my last stand. Now go!"
The Autobots looked at each other and hurried to dig an escape route as they shouted, "Till all are one!"
"Till all are one!"
Galvatron and his Decepticons landed and surrounded the Autobot commander as Magnus pulled out the Matrix of Leadership to ignite but it wasn't working. "It would seem this is the end for you and your Autobots, Magnus," Galvatron smirked sinisterly.
"No! No please! Prime, you said the Matrix would light our darkest hour," Magnus struggled.
"Any last words, Magnus?!"
Ultra Magnus looked back and forth at Galvatron and his trapped Autobots as he pleaded to the Decepticons, "Galvatron, I surrendered. I beg you, please spare my Autobots and I'll do whatever you want."
"Hand over the Matrix and I will spare your pathetic Autobots."
"Prime… forgive me…" Ultra Magnus tossed the artifact to Galvatron as he lowered his head in shame.
"Thank you, Magnus… but now you die!"
"What?!"
"Sweeps! Terminate him!" Scourge and the Sweeps fired beams attaching Magnus's arms and legs then lifting him into the air. The flyers flew in different directions to tear him apart as the Autobot screamed in agony. "Die! Die!"
From a distance, Starscream hid from afar as he witnessed the torment of Ultra Magnus. "Time for my plan to spring into action," Seeker smirked as he aimed his blaster.
The Seeker blast at the beam attaches to the Autobots arm, freeing him. Ultra Magnus ripped the beam from his other arm and fired his shoulder missiles at the last two Sweeps as he fell into the rubble. Galvatron and his Decepticons were shocked by what happened as Starscream fled from the scene.
"Where did that blast come from," Cyclonus demanded.
"The other Autobots are getting away," Thrust shouted.
"Lord Galvatron, shall we go after them," Razorclaw asked his leader.
"It doesn't matter," Galvatron told them as he approached and grabbed the Matrix of Leadership. "I have what I need. Unicron… my master… with this I shall make you my slave."
Unicron screams in complete rage as he sees his servant's intention. The haunting screams echoed within the belly of the beast as Jazz and the others drove fast while avoiding the deadly tentacle claws. "What in Cybertron's name was that," Gears shouted as he was driving.
"Who cares! Just keep driving," Jazz told them.
Suddenly, a powerful soundwave blows all of the Autobots away. Jazz quickly uses his grappling hook to attach to the surface while all of them hold hands as they withstand the planet eater deadly horrible screams. "Hang on guys," Spike yelled. "Just hang on! Don't let go!"
Suddenly, Gears and Hubcap start to lose their grip as the deadly wind is too much. Bumblebee holds them as hard as he can until the two Autobots are blown away as they scream in horror. "Gears! Hubcap! No," the yellow Autobot cried. Soon, the hook couldn't handle the deadly scream and lost its attachment to the surface as all of them were blown away as well.
Back at Autobot City, the remaining Autobots work tirelessly to restore the Ark. The Protectobots repair the wires and systems within the ship while the Aerialbots help fixes the metal surface on the outside. The rest of the Autobots aided them in making sure the spaceship is fully functional to fly again while a few digs through the mountain for the ship to escape from.
Wheeljack, Ratchet, and Red Alert are fixing the command deck computers and navigation systems while Ironhide and Jetfire walked in to report the update. "Everyone of those fellas is doing their parts in makin' sure this bucket of bolts is ready to fly," the tough Autobot told them.
"At this rate, we'll make it in time to help Optimus and the others," Jetfire told them.
"If this ship could take off that is," Red Alert told them. "Don't forget this ship hasn't flown for centuries."
"She'll fly again, Red," Wheeljack told him. "We'll make sure of it. Just keep working on their computers."
"Wheeljack," Smokescreen contacted them through their communicators. "We have a problem!"
"What is it, Smokescreen?"
"It's best you better come outside and see it for yourselves!"
Wheeljack and the others transformed and drove outside. They turned back into their robot modes and noticed all of the Autobots were pulling ropes attached to the giant ship to drag it out of the mountain but with no luck. "What's the situation?"
"We're trying to get the ship out of the structure but nothing is working," Pipes told them. "The Omnibots managed to dig enough space for the Ark but we can't drag it out."
"If only they left us with those dumb Dinobots," Swerve shouted. "We would've gotten this piece of scrap out in no time!"
"Wish we could BLAM that mountain off the Ark," Warpath shouted.
"If we do that, then we would've damaged the Ark completely beyond repair," Ratchet stated. "And we're almost done repairing it completely."
"Well, we can't fly the ship through the mountain without damaging it some more," Tracks added.
"You got that right," Sideswipe nodded. "There's got to be another way to get it out."
"We must examine and calculate the area of the ship and the mountain so we can figure out how in Cybertron we're gonna get out of them," Wheeljack told them.
"Well, make it fast," Jetfire told him. "Remember Prime and the others need our help. Who knows what danger they're going through right now."
Back on the Quintesson planet, Hot Rod and Kup were individually tied up by an energon band as Kranix was positioned on a plank where the hungry Sharkticons waited for him to be dropped down. "Before his imperial magistrate delivers a verdict, would you like to beg for your life," the prosecutor asked the victim. "It sometimes helps but not often."
"I can't transform," Kup whispers to Hot Rod as they were individually tied up by an energon band.
"Keep trying," Hot Rod whispered back.
"Silence or you will be held in contempt of this court," the prosecutor shouted at them.
"I have nothing but contempt for this court."
"Has the imperial magistrate reached a verdict?"
"I have," the judge agreed.
"Guilty or innocent?"
"Spare me this mockery of justice," Kranix cried.
"I repeat! Guilty or innocent?"
"Innocent," the judge laughed.
Kranix was dropped into a pool of Sharkticons as he screamed in horror. "No," Hot Rod cried as both he and Kup jumped into the pit to save their new friend while the energon band around them disappeared. All three of them fell into the pit with the deadly creatures. The two form a plan as the two Autobots transform into their vehicle modes. "Kranix! Hang on!"
The being immediately held onto the young Autobot as the Hot Rod and Kup raced around the container causing a whirlpool as they zoomed up for the surface. The Sharkticons emerged from the pit to attack them but the duo easily drove through them before transforming back into their robot modes. "Thank you! Thank you for saving me," Kranix praised their rescue.
"Don't mention," Hot Rod told him. "We wouldn't sit by and let them eat you."
"Yeah, but look there are a lot more of those can diggin' grill crackin' things," Kup warned them as swarms of Sharkticons rushed towards them.
"We can't hold out forever Kup, but we can give them one humongous repair bill."
One of the monsters lashes at Kup as the old Autobot rips off its tail and uses it as a weapon to defend himself while Hot Rod backs him up with his blaster rods. The young Autobot punches a Sharkticons destroying its jaws as the monster sinks its claws at him but misses and kills one of its own. The Autobots hold their ground while defending Kranix until they're overcome by the endless waves of the creatures.
"Yes! Execute them," the prosecutor laughed.
Suddenly, the entrance door collapsed onto the prosecutor, which surprised the Quintessons. "What's the meaning of this intrusion," the judge demanded.
Everyone was completely surprised by the appearance of Optimus Prime, the Wreckers, and the Dinobots. "This is a perversion of justice," the leader of the Autobots responded while he was riding Grimlock.
"Op-Optimus Prime?!"
"Autobots! Rescue our friends!"
"You got it Prime," Roadbuster shouted with joy as Whirl transformed into his helicopter mode for him to ride on while he started blasting the Sharkticons.
Slag was the last one to enter he stepped over the prosecutor and told him politely, "Excuse me."
The Wreckers jumped in to fight off the monsters away from their friends. Optimus Prime joins in as he fights his way to his troubled allies while fighting off the savage creatures with his energy ax. He picked a Sharkticon and threw it at the monsters.
The Dinobots joined the fight as they sent complete fear and horror to the Sharkticons. "Me Grimlock wants to munch metal," Grimlock shouted as he and his team attacked. The giant dinosaur Autobots easily stepped and ripped a few of the monsters off as the sea creatures immediately backed away. The giant warriors backed the savage creatures away from the other Autobots.
"Are you two alright," Optimus asks Hot Rod and Kup as he helps them up.
"Better now that you guys are here," Hot Rod told him with joy. "I'm so relieved that you're alive, Optimus!"
"I'm glad we made it in time to save you two."
"Haha, I never thought I'd be so happy to see those big bozos."
"Me Grimlock no bozo, me king," the t-rex Autobot told him.
"Sharkticons execute them," the Quintesson judge ordered his pets.
All of the Sharkticons transformed into their robot mode as they were ready to eliminate the Autobots. "Great, here we go again," Kup said.
Grimlock growled and stumped his dino-foot at the Sharkticons causing a tremble on the floor. "Me Grimlock says execute them," the Dinobot told them to attack their enslavers.
The Sharkticons realized that they were no match with the Dinobots, so they took the order from Grimlock and attacked their masters. The swarms of the sea monsters climbed on top of each other to attack their enslavers as the Quintessons fled in complete horror. "The Autobots will suffer for this disrespect! You haven't seen the last of the Quintessons," the judge yelled as he escaped.
"I think the problems on this planet will soon be solved very shortly," Kup laughs.
"Should we join the fun, Prime," Topspin asks his leader.
"We'll worry about them for another time, Topspin," Optimus told him as Sandstorm and Broadside brought two freed prisoners.
"Prime, this is Kranix," Hot Rod introduced his friend to his leader.
"Thank the maker," the being blessed Optimus. "You saved all of our lives from those horrible tyrants!"
"Rest well, friend," Optimus told him. "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings."
"He has news about the monster that attacked the Moon Bases," Hot Rod told him.
"You do?"
"I do. I… I am the last survivor of planet Linthone," Kranix told him.
"Oh no… I'm truly sorry for what happened to your home world. Did this monster you know destroy your home?"
"Yes… It's a monster planet. An unstoppable force of pure malice whose only goal is the total elimination of all life. His name is Unicron."
"What? Unicron? But that's impossible."
"You know who he is, Prime," Kup asked him.
"I do. I once read about him in the archives but… I would never expect him to be real. If he is real, then that means we're all endangered."
"I suggested going to the galaxy furthest from Unicron and enjoying the rest of your existence in peace," Kranix advised them. "Nothing can stop this monstrosity."
"Kranix," Optimus told him as he lay his hand on the being's shoulder, "it is not our way to run from danger. Courage is not the absence of fear but the triumph over it. Now that we have identified the threat to all life, we will face it despite the risks involved."
"I would love to fight this planet eater but how are we going to get rid of this piece of junk from the planet," Roadbuster asked.
"Yeah. We need a ship," Hot Rod nodded.
"I believe that structure up there is a ship," Kranix pointed at a tower.
"That's a ship," Kup asked.
"I knew that ship looks familiar," Optimus said. "We shall use it as our vessel. Autobots! To the ship!"
"Do we even know if it can fly," Sandstorm asked.
"Who cares! As long as it flies," Hot Rod says.
The Autobots transform and drive to the towered ship as Optimus tells Kranix and the other two freed prisoners, "You are welcome to join us. We could use your knowledge of Unicron if we hope to stop his onslaught. And perhaps we can assist you in preserving your culture for posterity."
"I don't want to be on this dreadful planet any longer. I would be more than happy to help you and your allies in any way I could," Kranix nodded as he and others joined Optimus and his allies. Finally, everyone enters the spacecraft and blasts off in search of their friends.
